As time passed by Vạn Thư became friendly to other Yokai as she realized they became less annoying as time grew by.

Her books became one of the best-selling books inside Suzunaan due to its extreme length and details but she eventually fell out of favor as the murder series from Akyuu gained a superior popularity again.

Yet the next event surprised her as the night of a party in Hakurei Shrine began.

That night at the blossom tree, everyone from Yokai, God to human began to have a big drinking party as usual.

Vạn Thư: Since when Miyoi's sake looked better than usual?

Suika: Say thanks to my Sake Bug inside this sake barrel.

Suika kicked the barrel and something was moving inside the container, Vạn Thư almost vomited as she heard that line. Suika laughed.

Unknown person: Vạn Thư!

Vạn Thư and other jaw gapped as they couldn't believe what they saw in front of them. Another person with the same face as Vạn Thư wearing a fisherman costume standing in front of her!

Vạn Thư: Impossible! I thought you were all dead!?

Reimu: Are you a Yokai or Vạn Thư's sister?

Reimu suddenly looked at the stranger with a cautious eye but Vạn Thư stopped her and answered instantly

Vạn Thư: Everyone…meet my dummy decoy…

Everyone: What!?

The dummy decoy began to explain everything while drinking the sake non-stop

Thiên Điểu: While my real name was Vạn Thư I was just a dummy decoy of the original Vạn thư whose job was to bait the enemy assassin to hunt me down.

As the dummy decoys created by the Scroll of Dummy we could develop our own personality given enough time but because of the war our life span was expected to be extremely short.

We already accepted our fate right from the start as long as we could bait the enemy to protect the original Vạn Thư and fulfilled our intended role.

As I survived a house fire during one of their assassination attempt I lost contact with other after their retreated and I decided to stay hidden in the meantime.

Because every decoy created by the scroll stored a piece of magical power from the creator into us we became detached from the scroll power and we could only perish if we run out of magical power stored in our body.

This was why I became an exception where I could live on for 10 years thanks to the mechanism of the scroll.

During my time of hibernation I realized Vạn Thư couldn't find me when Sengi's army marched to the capital so I took a new identity under the name Thiên Điểu and began to disguise as a fisherman over 10 years to avoid the enemy detection.

For years I had been checking the news to see how far Sengi army had been going but the more I read the more I realized you already have another decoys and I became useless at that moment.

After the war I saw the news that you disappeared inside the Imperial Palace without any trace which raised my curiosity that led to my search for finding you.

Thiên Điểu pointed to the fishing net containing various wet scrolls inside with a happy face

Thiên Điểu: At least I knew I had done something good for all of my existence.

Her body began to fade slowly as she continued her conversation

Vạn Thư: Sigh…I wished you could last longer…

Thiên Điểu: I don't think it would be necessary, I already run out of my life magic recently and I knew my body is fading away as we speak.

I'm glad to tell you that all of your hard works bore fruit as Sengi passed away and his successor were very benevolent unlike his shitty act against you.

What I could gather so far were those scrolls as I believed the new Emperor dumped the remaining scrolls into the riverbank to dispose it. Because I think you will need it so I carried the rest of it into here.

Vạn Thư: Did you use the Scroll of Illusionary Dimension to enter Gensokyo?

Thiên Điểu: I was, I believed you disappearance was because that you came to another dimension. Hence why I took my risk to use the last bit of my magic to cast the scroll but it randomly transported me into Gensokyo after throwing me into some random location before that.

This is the first time I saw the scroll worked in a very insane way that I had to use the spelling chant to disable it but it dropped me in a random location in Gensokyo instead. Not sure what happened to the scroll though…it just went missing on its own...

Vạn Thư: I already burned it. Its existence was extremely troublesome for everyone including me.

Thiên Điểu left out a happy laugh while Vạn Thư looked at her in sadness. She could see Thiên Điểu are fading harder as her body grew weaker

Thiên Điểu: I'm glad that I met you on time. My usage of the scroll caused me to lose my life slowly as you could see so far. I hope those scrolls might have a good use because I don't think every scroll should be burned.

After all because of those scrolls you and Sengi could successfully reunite Hakoniwa out of its dark age. Even if it could bring trouble to other I don't think some of it should be preserved. I hope you could fulfill my last wish, Vạn Thư.

Thiên Điểu made her last smile before she faded into nothingness. Vạn Thư tried to reach her but it was nothing but emptiness. Tears rolled on her cheek as she looked the empty void in front of her.

Vạn Thư: Farewell, my decoy, you had done well…

Vạn Thư stood up and she began to wipe her tear

Vạn Thư: Still, the scrolls only brought more trouble for other. It must be burned!

Kosuzu: WAIT!

Kosuzu suddenly shouted as she stood between the scrolls and Vạn Thư. Vạn Thư was being surprised at her determined face.

Kosuzu: Leave it at Suzunaan! I know what to do with it! I don't want to see her sacrifice ended up in vain!

Vạn Thư: Why though? A wet scroll is useless! And if somebody could use it then it would be a disaster!

Akyuu: She intended to turn it into a public exhibition instead of youma books. Its means it would end up being a harmless art instead of a dangerous scroll. Please have a faith on us, Vạn Thư. We will honor Thiên Điểu last wish.

Akyuu arrived at the scroll explaining the meaning of Kosuzu's word. Vạn Thư sat down and she began to think for a while.

Vạn Thư: Then…I will have to visit Suzunaan frequently so that I could make sure none of you tried anything crazy. I had had it enough with those scrolls.

Vạn Thư and Kosuzu eventually came to an agreement of how to deal with the remaining scrolls without burning it.

Kosuzu used her glass to preserve the scroll even if none of it could be casted no matter what as Vạn Thư carefully edited various lines for each of the scrolls to completely remove its ability to cast its spell while turning it into something else.

Thanks to this Suzunaan attracted more visitors from the villagers as they began to take interest in the new list of exhibition where all of the scrolls had been converted into poem or literature through a lot of effort to edit the content on the paper.

Vạn Thư: Never expected there would be a better way to dispose those scrolls.

Mamizou: If you regained your magic back would you ever reconsidered using your scrolls?

Vạn Thư: All of my magic is enough to burn the scrolls.

Mamizou looked at her with a bored face

Mamizou: So it's still a no…

Vạn Thư looked into the sky as she made a happy smile

Vạn Thư: Thiên Điểu, I hope you would be happy to see your wish come true!
