Chapter 1: A Daisy in Despair
At Sarasaland Castle, Daisy is asleep in her room. But then a Sarasain in a maid outfit knocked on her door and said, "Your Highness, it's morning. Get ready for breakfast."
If you don't remember, a Sarasain is a being that looks like a Toad, but its mushroom hat is replaced with a flower hat. The Sarasains would wear different kinds of flower hats: some hats would be covered in rose types, some covered in dandelion types, some with daffodil types, daphne types would be on the caps too, and lastly, some have daisy types.
After a big yawn and stretching her arms, Daisy gets out of bed in an orange flowery nightgown. She saunters towards the bathroom, where the hanger is holding her everyday clothing. She enters the room and closes the door. Waterfalling, spraying, and puffing are heard. She came out in her outfit and looked like her tomboyish and spunky self.
"That's better," Daisy said before going to her beauty desk.
Tapped close to the mirror are pictures of all her friends, but most of them have Luigi and her together.
She kissed Cat Luigi and said, "Another day, another peace from Bowsette and Boosette."
When the Sarasain Maid came in, she said, "I'm glad you're ready, Princess Daisy. The Sarasaland Council arrived for their weekly report."
"Coming," Daisy responds.
Daisy walks out of her room and sees portraits of herself in the hall. Every picture has her appearance in every Nintendo game she was in. But as she passes each one, she begins to remember her adventures during the Calamity of the Super Crown. She looks at her bare hands in disappointment.
"Is that all I can do? Being strong, independent, and happy? I'm the Brawn of the Super Mario Bros," she said.
In the Royal Meeting Room, The Sarasaland Council(King Totomesu of the Birabuto Kingdom, Dragonzamasu of the Muda Kingdom, Hiyoihoi of the Easton Kingdom, and Biokinton of the Chai Kingdom) are seated before her. She sits 1st the end of the table while at the end, her father, the Emperor of Sarasaland, is reading the reports as papers block his face to read.
"Ah, my darling princess. Good morning," said the Emperor.
"Good morning, Dad," she responds.
"Good morning, Heir of Sarasaland," said the Sarasaland Council.
"Good morning, gentlemen. Dad, I thought I was going to do the reports."
"You are. I'm just organizing for you, my little blossom," he responds.
When he handed them over to her, Daisy then spoke while looking over them, "I see that our Solar Energy Harvest in the Birabuto Kingdom is a success. Due to its very sunny and the ratings from our solar panels, we have enough to power all Sarasaland. And there's been increased deployment on oasis sources."
"We are getting better at finding water, thanks to your boyfriend's Water-Detector donation," said King Totomesu.
"Speaking of this boyfriend, when am I going to meet him? This Luigi character sounds like a good provider to give me grandchildren," the Emperor teased.
"Dad!" Daisy shouted in embarrassment. "Any for the Muda Kingdom, shipment safety is succeeding. No incident or accident reports. Seafood storage is good as well."
"It was hard to prevent any of them cats from breaking in and stealing it. But it was worth it," Dragonzamasu commented.
"For the Easton Kingdom, crops and farm reproduction are going through the roof. But I still wonder about the stone statues, though. What are they for again?"
Then Hiyoihoi replied, "They are meant to protect the gardens and crops from black magic."
"If you say so, the Chai Kingdom investing is helping pay off the empire's expenses. Surpassing perfection as usual."
Biokinton spoke, "Hai, Princess Daisy. But you don't seem like yourself. Are you alright?"
"Biokinton is right, Daisy. Is there something the matter?" the Emperor of Sarasaland asks.
"Everyone in my hero team has special powers to aid in battle. Even Mario's daughter got some too. Me, on the hand, all I have is my strength and confidence," she responds.
"But your strength is always special. Our family has had super strength for years. It helped our people with every solution."
"Yeah, but sometimes I was more help than ever for the team."
The Emperor thought for a moment before saying and taking out a scroll, "Say, Daisy. If you ever feel the need to want to be stronger, read this scroll."
"Alright."
When Daisy takes the scroll, he says, "Sarasaland Council, you are free to be dismissed."
"Goodbye, Emperor and Princess Daisy," they respond before leaving the room.
Daisy and her father walk out of the room together before he tells her, "I've got more business to attend in my office, Daisy. I love you, flower petal."
After kissing his daughter on the forehead, he walks in the other direction. While Daisy walks to the dining room for breakfast, she looks at the scroll. After taking a deep breath, she opens the scroll and reads it. She became surprised by what she was reading until she smiled bigly.
"Maid," she shouted.
The Sarasain Maid responded, "Yes, Your Highness."
"Bring me the Super Mario Bros Hotline. I got to make some calls."
