Chapter 5: The Power Within

In the last room of the temple, the Super Mario Bros. and sleepy Prika came across beautiful murals of the Flower Gods surrounding a grand orange-Daisy shape flower crystal.

"Wow," the Super Mario Bros. commented.

"This must be it. Finally, some magic I can use," Daisy excitingly goes over it.

But Luigi quickly grabbed her hand and said, "Wait, Daisy! What if it's another trap?"

"Come on, Luigi. We've come this far. I'm not back down on this now."

"Daisy, tell us the truth. Why do you really want this power? I know it has to be more than just wanting to have magic or being useful to our group," said Peach.

"Uh….well…Okay, you got me. I just want to help my people more often and prove to them I'm not like how I was during Tatanga. Seriously, I have to have bodyguards with me whenever I visit anywhere in Sarasaland."

"Well, it's normal to have bodyguards with you. You are a princess," Mario said.

"Mario, my Dad made 30 of them accompany me."

"Now that's too much. I would take four around me whenever I went out. Unless Mario and Luigi are around," said Peach.

"Being overprotected must be ruff on ya, Daisy," Birdo commented.

"You have no idea, Birdo. It's like being guarded by a mother bird while you're an egg," Daisy responds.

"I'm sure how Yoshi and I should feel about those words due to us laying eggs."

"Hey, you lay them from your mouth. You and Yoshi use them as weapons and lay countless of them."

"It runs in both of our tribes. To have an egg contain children, we had to-," said Yoshi.

"Woah, no. Even if Prika is asleep, don't speak about it," said Yellow Toad.

"Speak out what?" Prika said, starting to wake up.

"At least she didn't hear anything," Blue Toad commented.

The crystal begins to glow before spirits appear in the forms of a Red Rose, a Yellow Dandelion, a Pink Daphne, a Golden Daffodil, an Orange Daisy, and a White Swan Cornflower.

"Great roses of red and violets of blue! It's the Spirits of the Flower Gods," Daisy was surprised.

Luigi faints into Yoshi's arm in fear while Prika says, "Oh, yeah. Unkey Luigi has severe Phasmophobia. Meaning fear of ghosts."

"Say, we have gone to that vocabulary in school. Have you been studying on your own, Prika? Good girl," Yellow Toad commented.

Pepperoni and Cauliflower get in defense stance as Blue Toad says, "Where have you two been in the last chapter?"

The two ghost pets shrug it off before the White Swan Cornflower Godly Spirit said, "لا تخف ، الذين يرغبون في هذه السلطة. لقد شاهدناك تهزم كلتا المحاكمتين بشكل لا تشوبه شائبة."

"What are they saying?" Birdo confused.

"They are speaking Sarasa. About me passing the trials with flying colors," Daisy responds.

The Flower God Spirits then used their magic to shrink the crystal to the size of a jewel of a pendant.

Then the Rose God Spirit said, "الأميرة ديزي من ساراسالاند ، لقد أثبتت أنك الحامي التالي لقواتنا الإلهية."

Once the Dandelion God Spirit makes the crystal into a pendant, they put it around Daisy's neck and said, "مع ذلك ، الأميرة ديزي ، ستتمكن من القيام بأكثر بكثير مما تريد."

"Wow, I'm forever grateful for letting me guard your power. But what is your power anyway?" she replies.

Then the Daffodil God Spirit said, "يتم منحك قوة إنشاء النبات. يمكنك إنشاء أي نبات من تلك التي انقرضت أم لا."

"That's it?! Cool. I thought my knowledge of plants would be helpful one day."

"Does Daisy know that we can't understand?" Peach whispered to everyone.

"Not at all," Mario whispered back.

"الممارسة تأتي أولا. لماذا لا تجربها؟," the Daphne Godly Spirit continued while taking out a pot of soil. "فكر برغبة وتركيز أي نبات ترغب في زراعته."

After Daisy nods, she begins to think and places her hand before the pot. As her eyes and the pendent glowed in orange, Pluchea glutinosa grew from the bank while Luigi awakened.

Everyone is amazed as Luigi says, "Wow. So it's Plant Growth, but how did it eliminate the Katsini?"

When they hear rumbling outside the temple, Mario says, "Mama Mia! What's going on?!"

"حان الوقت لك لاستخدام سلطاتك من أجل الخير ، الأميرة ديزي," said the Daisy Godly Spirit, opens an exit for the Super Mario Bros. and Prika to go out of the temple.

As the heroes leave the temple, the Flower God Spirits disappear at peace.
