"Eek!" a young Rex yelped as he yanked his hand backward from the little hidey hole he had hidden his bag in and swam over to hide behind Six. "Six! Something grabbed my hand! It drew blood," he said, sucking on the wound on his finger.

"Probably just a crab," the swordfish mer sighed, tired. "But you really shouldn't be sticking your hand in any holes you find in the ground or walls. Anything could have crawled in there."

Six swam closer to the hole, withdrawing his sword. Rex followed closely behind him, but made sure to stay clear of the blade's range.

"Remember," Six said as he poked his sword into the hole, "...it's always better to use anything but your hands to check inside small enclosed spaces."

Rex watched fearfully as something jerked Six's sword and Six struggled to pull out a slightly skewered octopus out of his hidey hole. The small octopus was putting up quite the fight, but in between its numerous tentacles Rex spotted something familiar.

"Ah! It has my rock collection!"

"Rex don't touch it!"

The octopus latched onto Rex and in surprise Rex instinctively electrocuted it.

"Uh…Dinner?"
