One Day Later…
David sighed as he got off the plane, as he was still apprehensive about meeting with Colby, not just because of the Janus list situation but also his reaction to it.
He really grew to regret how he acted, as it not only cost him time with his friend but he could impact how his interactions with agents happen in general since some were still wary of working with him due to his anger about the incident.
David shook his head, as at the time he thought people would understand his reaction, as Colby was his best friend and he had felt betrayed. Now in addition the way he was treating Colby before his former friend left, this made some agents, especially those who have worked undercover, even more uneasy around him.
'I just hope making things right with Colby also makes things right with those agents, so that they know that they can count on me when needed.' David thought to himself as he took his luggage to a waiting taxi, hoping that today he and Colby will finally make some progress
"Where to?" The driver asked as David got in
"Hotel." David said, as he needed to drop off his stuff first, and he still had a bit of time before he had to meet with Colby
