David was shocked when Colby told him about what the doctor had told him, and then he felt some guilt, as when he dismissed Colby's health problems, there was a chance that his friend would have been in serious trouble while he was unaware.

"Colby, you are okay right now, right?" David asked anxiously

"Mostly, though the doctor said I still need to be monitored for a little bit to see if any complications might come up." Colby said honestly, as he himself wasn't feeling that great about the diagnosis, though he was trying to stay positive about it.

"What do you want me to do for you?" David asked, as he wanted to know how to make up for all those months and just make sure Colby was going to be alright

"Right now? Just… Maybe… Stick around for a few days? They want to do more tests just to confirm the diagnosis and I don't want to go through it alone." Colby said, as he really didn't want to deal with this whole thing alone, as Liz has to go back to LA soon and his new team had just gotten a case that requires all hands on deck while he is on medical leave, so he would be left by himself and he didn't want to deal with that.

"Sure, Colby, Don allowed me a couple weeks of leave, so I will be able to stick around for awhile and it is the least I can do." David said, which was all true, as Don told him to stay around for a while

"Thanks man, I really need this." Colby said, who looked like a whole weight was lifted off his shoulders, as things were finally turning around for him with David

"I know, say, do you want to go to a movie after this and just… hang out after this?" David asked, as he wanted to give Colby something to do to keep his mind off things for a while as they wait for the tests

"Sure, David, I would love that." Colby said, who was thinking the same thing.
