A/N- Here's my submission for Day 3 of the Scarletstrange week. I am well aware I am late. Anyways Enjoy!

Please listen to The Cure by Little Mix. This was partly inspired by the song. Recommend listening while reading this.

Stephen had been meaning to check on Wanda as soon as possible after the battle and Tony's funeral. He had seen her during the funeral but had wanted to give her space. But it seems she has beaten him to it.

Here she sat opposite him in an oversized armchair, clutching the teacup as if her life depended on it. She looked so meek, a far cry from the woman he had seen bring Thanos down without batting an eye.

He waited for her to continue. "I feel like I have this raw power inside me waiting to be unleashed. I feel like a ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment. I have little to no training or the knowledge on how to harness this power Stephen. I came to the only place I thought that I could get help."

Stephen looked at her for a moment.

"Welcome to the Mystic Arts Wanda Maximoff."

"She's quite a hit here with the Masters. Wanda is advancing at an astonishing rate. She's definitely going to break your record." Wong mentioned and as they stood at the courtyard at Kamar-Taj watching everyone train. Stephen watched Wanda as she effortlessly managed to channel Eldritch magic, the golden magic weaving in and out creating intricate Tao Mandalas. Her eyes gleamed with pride and she looked healthier and happier. Her potential and control was impressive, managing to separate her magic and Eldritch magic.

"Good for her…" Stephen felt extremely proud seeing her progress.

"Honestly she is worse than you…she practically lives in the library when she's not training. I had quite the shock when I saw her astral form in the library late at night reading. She is quite a bookworm." Wong went on quite fondly, having come to see her as a sister.

Stephen smiled at her when she caught his gaze and she sent a toothy grin in return.

"So Wong was right. You've turned into quite the bookworm then."

Wanda let out a little scream, red magic flaring at her fingertips at being startled so badly after being so engrossed in a very interesting tome about the different types of magical weapons.

"Stephen! Don't scare me like that!"

"Never thought I would see the Scarlet Witch look so startled." He smiled at her, trying to hide his chuckling and moved to sit opposite her.

"Watch it Strange! You do see the book I am reading right?" She pointed to the book and sent him a mock glare, mirth shining in her green eyes.

She sobered up a bit. "I never had a chance to go to a library properly…this feels like heaven. So many books and knowledge all under one roof and I feel so much at ease having a cup of tea and reading to my heart's content."

From that day onwards, Wanda would find a new pile of books of all kinds of genres on her bedside table every week.

"Focus Wanda...come on!"

She let go of the shield, the red magic dissipating between her fingers.

"I…I am trying Stephen. My magic seems to be the strongest when I am damn emotional." She had a haunted look on her face.

He stepped towards her and placed his hands on her shoulders grounding her. She looked at him apprehensively.

"I don't want to hurt anyone."

Stephen remembered the incident at Lagos. He spoke gently, "You can overcome this fear Wanda. Let's take this slow, okay?"

She nodded.

Stephen watched with awe at how Wanda blossomed into the woman she was meant to be. Gone was the insecure woman who had to come to him asking to be trained and the girl who constantly doubted her potential and abilities. Instead stood a woman who was fully aware of her capabilities, a fiercely kind and compassionate person who would be ready to defend the innocent.

She let down her defenses, the magic reflecting her own unique style ,an ability she had discovered further into her training which was a combination of her own chaos magic and eldritch magic.

Wanda grinned at him and helped him up.

"You are ready."

"We welcome you to our ranks. Master Wanda Maximoff." The assembled masters bowed at Wanda, whose face was painted with shock and exertion.

She schooled her expressions and returned the bow.

"The honour is mine. Thank you Masters."

Wong was right. She had indeed broken his record which left him fiercely proud of her.

Stephen found her staring outside through the Seal of Vishanti at the skyline of New York. He walked up beside her and they contemplated in silence.

"Thank you Stephen. Thank you for everything." Her voice conveyed her gratitude.

He merely smiled and slipped an arm around her shoulders.

I was a little bit lost, but I'm not anymore

I was a little bit hurt, but I'm not anymore

I was a little left out, but I'm not anymore

'Cause the tears fell down, but they don't anymore

I was a little messed up, but I'm not anymore

I was a little locked out, but I'm not anymore

I was a little far gone, but I'm not anymore

Yeah, it's alright now, baby, I got the cure
