This is a new Batwoman story - new character, fresh start (though inspired by previous takes). Alex is an ex marine with a lot of issues, who may not seem to be the superhero type at first. But her drive for good, her desire to help, and her traumatic past pushes her into a world she never thought she'd inhabit. Batman is also featured, helping her discovering her new identity.
