Sung Jinwoo after countless fights against the monarchs decides to choose his successor so he could rest eternally but an unexpected visitor convinced him to head to his dimension to choose one there. The Monarch of Destruction, The Monarch of White Flames, The Beast Monarch, The Frost Monarch, The Iron Body Monarch, The Monarch of Beginning, The Monarch of Plagues, The Monarch of Transfiguration, all of them rule their own subjects and lead them into war against one of the strongest Monarchs whose title was the King of the Dead otherwise known as the Shadow Monarch. Although the current Shadow Monarch is no longer the one they knew, they still had planned to kill him so he could stay out of their way but unfortunately for them the current Monarch of Shadows has proven to be overwhelming and in the end they had once again been slain for what could be the 100th time. In the empty space of their battlefield here he was, what could be a simple mortal instead was their greatest threat,

With the current Monarch-

How long has this war been going on.. I can't seem to remember. But it doesn't matter, as long as I can keep them away from my family I'll keep fighting this endless war agaisn't them…* This was the current Shadow Monarch, he was a male human that stood at 6'1 in height and was in great shape, he had sharp facial features, dark hair and gray eyes. He was known as the weakest hunter in his world, but an accident inside a dungeon granted him his second awakening. As time went on he discovered that his power allowed him to become stronger and had the ability to turn the dead into his army resulting in him becoming the successor of the Shadow Monarch.

As he stood floating on this dimension he was deep in thought. He wanted to return home and be with his family, as he looked at himself his hair was way longer than what it just to be probably the result of fighting a war for hundreds of years. Age didn't affect him anymore because he was no longer human. He still looked human but he had a spiritual body now so he could not age, but he still wished he could be with his parents but alas he could not, not because he couldn't but because if he returned his enemies would target his world, he knew that he couldn't return but he was also tired of fighting this endless war. After thinking about it he knew what he was gonna do, he was gonna choose a successor just like Ashborn did. Although he did not live as long as his predecessor he understood why he chose to rest in the endless darkness. And he would soon join him there.

"Hello there young man…" he was brought out of his thoughts when he heard a gentle and soft voice but what surprised him was that he was not able to sense when he arrived.

He narrowed his eyes warily; "who are you and what are you doing here" Sung said as he got into a fighting position but then he widened his eyes as he saw the man in front of him had 8 pair of wings of golden wings on his back and he wore nothing more than a white cloth that covered his whole body, he had a sad yet warm and gentle smile as he walked slowly to where he was located and his next action shocked him to say the least, he gave him a hug. This stranger gave him a hug, but why did it feel as if his worries had been lifted he felt warm. Unknown to Sung Jin Woo he had been tearing up the moment the man hugged him.

"It's okay now my child you have done well in keeping them at bay, it must have been hard for you to be alone for this long" the man spoke gently to him. After a little while he slowly moved away from the man and wiped his eyes. "W -Who are you and how do you know about my fight with them…" Sung spoke as he took a deep breath and looked at the man in front of him.

The man gave him a sad smile and started to glow a little; "my name is Yahweh, otherwise known as the god of the bible and the reason i'm here is because I have been watching you for a while now. Another reason is because I have a favor to ask of you." Sung was speechless and didn't know how to react, while he was not that religious he knew about God of the Bible, he bowed deeply and then stood back up still staring at him nervous although he was a powerful entity himself the man in front of him was the creator of all life and his mom taught him to show respect to his elders. "What is it that you need from someone like me Yah- God" Sung said as he kneeled to the man in front of him, as he did all of his shadows appeared behind him and did the same thing. "Stand up child, you don't need to bow to me" Yahweh said as he gave his hand to Woo so he could stand up and still had a sad smile. "I'm not from your world to be exact, I'm the god of another world in a different dimension." Yahwe said as he chuckled a little still looking at Sung with a little sadness but somehow kept a gentle smile. "And the reason I'm here is because I can grant you your wish. I can send you to another world to choose your successor." he kept talking as he saw the mouth wide young man in front of him. "But why god? Although I can do that myself, why did you choose to do it for me?" Sung Jin Woo said as he questioned the being in front of him, he saw the look God had at the moment and he did not like it he saw sadness in his eyes, and it pained him. "You see, I died a while ago" God gave the shocking news to Woo but before he said anything God continued, "I want you to go to my world, I know that you want to find a proper successor, I'm sure you'll find a proper one there, but also this way I can rest knowing that the world I created can be protected. At least until I rise once more." Yahweh said as he waited for the answer of the person in front of him.

Sung Jin Woo had a Contemplating look on his face and was deep in thought but soon refocused and spoke to the man in front of him. "You know that if I go there the others will follow once they find me right." Sung asked God, he still had more questions for God but he decided to ask only one question. "Yes I know already, but there are other powerful beings in my world that can lend you a hand if it gets that dangerous, plus there is a being sealed in a dimension in that realm. I need you to be there so that the day it breaks free it can be defeated." God answered and he slowly lifted a finger to the young man's head making his finger glow as he touched his forehead and spoke; "here this is what you need to know about my world… and about the creature that is sealed.. With this I won't waste your time with more stories but I beg of you don't tell a soul about this if anyone knew about this it might break havoc in my world. Yahweh spoke those words he backed off a little while waiting patiently. " I accept and I won't tell a soul. Not even my successor" with those words Sung Jin Woo said and as soon as he said that yahweh gave him a warm smile and made him glow, as Woo glowed he spoke some words that Woo could not hear. With that God could now rest for the next millions of years till he returned if he even would return. Leaving the fate of the world on the successor of the being that ruled over the dead, of course tho he is going to leave a surprise for him, he was not gonna be alone this time, not now, not ever again.

-scene change with woo in the new realm-

Having a spiritual body came with its advantages one of them being invisibility, as he scoured the world for the next few years he saw different beings, different events, and even some scenery changes. He was still trying to find the right successor and as far as he could tell, none of the supernatural beings caught his interest. Devils were selfish creatures full of sin, to be expected nonetheless. Fallen angels were similar to devils, and angels were too pure for him, but all of them held power and so did other supernatural beings. What made him a little sad was the fact that humans were at the bottom of the chain. And often were prayed upon because of that, not necessarily killed but they were treated as if they were objects or pets. He had made his decision he would use the system that was used when he had his second awakening, the system would choose someone for him, hopefully a human. With a bit of effort his shadows returned to the realm where they last where waiting patiently for their king to awaken once again the only ones that did not return were his knights and mages with a snap they returned to their previous domain, waiting for their next ruler to arrive and prove himself in the near future.

Alright system don't disappoint me. With that he disappeared into thin air and resided inside the system so one day he could talk to his successor.

Hey guys! Sorry if the chapter was confusing and bad. It's my first time writing anything at all. I promise it will get better. All I ask is for you guys to have patience. With that being said I hope some of you enjoyed the introduction to the story. I found it hard to have a beginning and I'm sure it was pretty confusing, but at least now this is out the way and we can finally start this little ride. Hopefully some of yall can stay for the ride.
