October 30th, 1997
Located in Wiltshire, England stood Malfoy Manor. White peacocks roamed the grounds. Inside of the Manor was Rodolphus Lestrange on his hands and knees before the Dark Lord, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, You-Know-Who himself...Voldemort.
"M-my Lord"Rodolphus' voice shook in fear. "Can't you see? The girl will become more powerful"
A cold voice answered."I've told you many times, Rodolphus. I have no use for that"
"B-but my Lord. What about your plans? I thought you were going to make the girl one of your horcruxes"Rodolphus said
"That honor is only saved for the most extravagant of things. A feeble mistake such as that child does not deserve my acknowledgment"Voldemort said
"M-my Lord. I-I must say...I think you are mistaken in your decision, that girl could very well be a-"
The pain of a thousand knives stabbing into his skin merged with his body set on fire came over him. Rodolphus screamed in agony, so loud that people hundreds of miles away could hear. He felt a wave of relief wash over him once the pain ceased.
"Are you implying...that I am being naive, Rodolphus?"Voldemort interrogated Rodolphus as the latter shook in fear.
"N-no m-my Lord. N-never"Rodolphus' voice shook along with his body.
"Get rid of the girl"Voldemort said
"Y-you want her dead, my Lord?"Rodolphus asked
"No. The child is not worthy of being on the receiving end of a wand, much less mines. It is not worth the effort of being killed"Voldemort said
"B-but my Lord. The Killing Curse would end her life instantaneously"Rodolphus said
"Exactly"Voldemort said
"W-what should I do with her, my Lord?"Rodolphus asked
"I do not care what you do with it"Voldemort hissed. "I want that child out of my sight, out of my cause, I want that child to not be heard of in my presence or in the presence of any follower of mine"
"Y-yes my Lord. I will complete the task at hand immediately"Rodolphus said, he stood on his legs and apparated away.
Rodolphus apparated inside of Lestrange Manor, he hurriedly walked through the house, not taking notice in any other item. Rodolphus, at the same pace, walked up the stairs and onto the second floor and opened the last door down the hall. Rodolphus forced the door open and walked in the room.
It was a bedroom, the walls painted white and red, on the bed was Rodolphus' wife, Bellatrix Lestrange.
"What did the Dark Lord say?"Bellatrix demanded
"He wants the child out of his cause. He does not want her to be related in any sort of way to him"Rodolphus said
"The Dark Lord's word is final...but do I not get a say in this? This is my child as well"Bellatrix said threateningly.
"The child is indeed yours as well but the Dark Lord does not want to have anything to do with it. If he finds out we did not get rid of this child, which is most likely, he will kill the both of us. We just need to find the child a new home"Rodolphus said
"I'm not just going to leave her in the care of anyone. She needs to be raised right, what if we by accident drop her off at a Mudblood's hovel?"Bellatrix said, not dropping the threatening tone.
"It does not matter where we put her. The Dark Lord-"
"This is his and my child. She will no doubt grow to be a very powerful witch, I will not have her stay with anyone of lesser importance"
"We cannot put her anywhere related to the Dark Lord! He will find out if we do! He will kill us!"Rodolphus shouted but his mouth shut when Bellatrix's wand stuck right under his chin.
"Do not raise your voice at me"Bellatrix hissed. "Or that will be the last act you ever perform"
"Give me the child, Bellatrix. I have very limited time, I cannot wait long. The Dark Lord does not want that child to lead back to him, most of the families that are like us are in league with him, the rest are either bloodtraitors or half-bloods. Now give me the child, it's this child's life or ours. Choose your pick"Rodolphus said
Bellatrix inhaled deeply before taking one look at the infant in her hands. "Take the child"
Rodolphus took the child into his hands. "What is the name of the child?"
"Delphini"Bellatrix said
Rodolphus disapparated away with the child. Rodolphus roamed for hours before setting the child on the doorstep of a house. Rodolphus conjured a piece of parchment and a quill and quickly wrote on it. Rodolphus knocked on the door and disapparated, leaving the couple at the door to discover the infant at their doorstep.
