It had been a few weeks since Donna's realise of the perfume and it had major success! It's all over social media and expanding, Harvey couldn't be anymore prouder with his wife he was so proud that he was whisking her to the Caribbean for a surprise vacation. Amy and Mike were busy with school and tons of homework every night, Donna and Harvey were strict with the nightly routine and it doesn't matter how busy they were with their work schedule. They had to be parents at the same time. Amy wanted to try out for the cheerleading team in school and Mike didn't really want to do anything he wanted become a little bit lazy and play video games.
"You're being lazy this morning aren't you not gonna do anything? Not seeing any friends?" Amy sat down next to Mike eating cereal.
"Nah! Can't be bothered, I haven't had a lazy day for ages the PS4 needs a good run so I'll be on it most of the day." Mike replied to her putting his headphones back into his ears.
"Not most of the day, SOME of the day, you're not hogging the TV I live here too. There is like no way you're beating your friends on some crappy game that you're obsessed with get a life Mike." As Amy went to the kitchen to get a drink and disposed her bowl.
"Who are you? The boss of me? Mom and dad are working and it's just me and you in the apartment so yeah the TV is mine for the day." Mike argued back as he laughed at Amy.
"I'm going to do my homework in my room and you can be sit there all smelly, as far as I care." Amy got her cellphone and texted her parents stating the Mike won't let her watch TV.
Harvey was in the office on his laptop, busy at work at the firm thinking that his kids can behave themselves back at the apartment. Gretchen was off sick so he had to be brave and schedule all of his meetings and appointments by himself just for today! He needed a secretary he wasn't used to not having one by his side, and his wife had her own career to attend too. Donna had a lot of press meetings, not press conferences but interviews Harvey couldn't be by her side until dinner time with the kids he had depositions and clients to see, being a lawyer wasn't easy these days. His phone bleeped and he sighed.
"Ahh... man what now? You have got to be kidding me." He whispered to himself as he read the text, he called his daughter.
"Hello?" A voice rang though the other end of the line, as he reclined in his chair.
"What is going on with you two monkeys? I thought I said only for emergencies Amy, I have a lot of meetings and depositions today sweetheart." Harvey smirked as he looked outside through the city of New York City.
"Mike won't let me have the TV and he's on the PS4 all day and he said it's his, I texted mommy but she's doing interviews and press all day for her make up and beauty products and perfume and she's got a luncheon talk to him daddy please." Amy was on the verge of tears down the phone to her father whose heart broke that her little girl was upset.
"Alright put the phone on to him please." Harvey put his fingers against the bridge of his nose and sighed he didn't want any aggravation today especially with his kids.
"Hey dad, did you want to speak to me?" Mike asked innocently as he parented not to know what the phone call was about.
"Can you please, please for today not argue with your sister and let her have the TV please? Turn off your PS4 and let her have her TV programmes please I am begging you otherwise I'll phone grandma and grandma and grandpa to come over and keep an eye on you." Harvey said to him calmly as he didn't want to make an argument.
"But dad I am in the middle of a game please let have one more hour please?" Mike begged his dad to have another hour of his TV time.
"No son, come off let Amy have her time please. You're not the only one in the apartment come on otherwise I'll defiantly get grandma and grandpa." As he heard a groan on the other end of the line and Amy squealing.
"Yay! Thank you daddy! I love you so much! HA! I get the TV now, now go away Mikey you're now longer in the hands of the TV." Amy squealed in happiness as Harvey chuckled at his daughter.
Mike got up from the couch and pulled the headphones off from his ears, he went into his bedroom to get ready to go into the shower and get ready for the day to see if Trevor was free to hang out. He might as well hang out with his friends, Donna was busy being a socialite and having Jessica as her agent who was arranging her schedule for the next couple of months, Harvey was trying make sure that Jessica knew that he planning a family getaway for Christmas so that Donna had family time for the Christmas and New Year.
Harvey didn't want Donna disturbed on their vacation, he wanted to take her to the Caribbean with Amy and Mike they never seem to get a proper family time and this was the time to get it so Harvey said to Jessica to clear Christmas and New Year for Donna and he won't take no for an answer. Donna didn't know about it so Harvey was keeping it a surprise.
"Harvey I have a sopena come through from Jack Soloff I hate his guts the bastard." Louis barged into his Harvey's office while he was writing notes at the table next to his desk with pictures of his family round his office, one with Amy and Mike taken awhile back on vacation not long ago on Easter break in the Maldives having ice cream on the sun beds which Donna took and put on instagram which attracted nearing two million likes.
"What do you mean a sopena? What did you do? Is it towards you or the client?" Harvey snapped down his pen and stood up and snatched the paper out of Louis's hand.
"It was Jack not me Harvey!" Louis sat on the couch and stuttered.
"It's Jack's client from Bratton and Gold you idiot what the hell are you doing?!" Harvey yelled at his partner.
"Bratt... Bratton and Gold are you sure?" Louis asked his friend as he took the paper and read it.
"You dummy read the paper Bratton and Gold are gettin Sopenaed not us!" Harvey sat back down.
"Thank you, thank you Harv..." As Louis hugged Harvey.
"Get off of me, only my kids and Donna can hug me, get back to work." Harvey shook his head.
"I'm on it don't worry." Louis ran out of the office to go to Jack's office to give him a talking to.
Donna was sitting in the car with Jessica and Blake her PR guy and guru, who was making her big in the world. He was doing all her social media and to up Donna's image for her products and manage her meetings with Jessica. Donna has been so busy she hasn't been able to see her Harvey, Amy and Mike properly, Jessica knew that he was planning a vacation.
"Can I at least have a day off with my kids and husband or once in my life I haven't have a day off since my perfume launched and that was nearly a few months ago and I'm exhausted!" Donna put on her Gucci sunglasses and sighed in frustration.
"Don't worry Don, it's not that much of a busy day today we can go to lunch and we can talk about you're schedule for the next year or so." Jessica told her client as she smiled at her in sympathy because Donna was so exhausted.
"I really need to call the kids, to see how they are I am their mother and it feels like I haven't spoken to them in ages." As she got her iPhone out and dialled Amy's number to ring her daughter who she missed dearly.
"We are at the studios Donna, Jessica." Blake called as Donna was on the phone to her daughter who was crying down the phone.
"Yeah, one minute Blake... are you going to be a big girl and stop crying? I know sweetheart... mommy will be home later this evening to tuck you into bed with daddy, well tell Mike he can't have the TV all day he's not the only one in the Condo and you can call me at anytime you know that baby girl." As Amy was crying hysterically down the phone.
"Donna... the crowd is waiting for you." Jessica told Donna.
"My family is more important than work Jessica when it comes to situations like this they can wait a minute, I'm not budging until I sort my daughter out! You also have children too and they are more important than my career right now." Donna shouted at her team who were shocked and also understood her situation.
Harvey was finishing up on the last case for the evening and he wanted to get back to his kids for the evening and he wanted to get home to his wife, when she comes home... later that evening. He wanted to have dinner with all just the four of them with no disturbance with no phones ringing them with work or anything as they have had such busy days at work. Amy and Mike are still on spring break, as Donna and Harvey haven't had the chance to have a vacation they will have one with the kids extremely soon, Lily and Gordon were coming to New York to spend some time with the family and not expecting them to fly to Boston because of Donna and Harvey's schedules.
Donna eventually got home before Harvey which was a miracle in itself, as she took of Louboutin heels which she has been wearing all day and her feet were killing her! The kids were probably somewhere around in the Condo doing homework or probably asleep bored as they didn't have nothing to do. Donna shouted out to to the two kids. She put her Dior handbag down on the kitchen counter with her keys it was pretty quiet and the lights were dim and the balcony door was slightly open due to how humid it has been in the recent days.
"Hello anyone home? Mikey? Amy? Kids? Why is the balcony door open?" As Donna went to the fridge to get a glass of wine for herself and a scotch for Harvey when he was home.
"Oh your early! Normally dad is home before you." Amy came out of her bedroom.
"I know, but I had enough for today I told Jessica and Blake that tomorrow is a new day." Donna smiled at her daughter and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"Wait, wait is mom home? Or am I hearing things?" Mike came out of from his bedroom as he went over to Donna and hugged her like he hadn't seen her in days.
"Whoa okay baby boy! I have only been at work honey. What has gotten all of this?" Donna hugged her son back and kissed him on the head giving him all the affection that a loving mother would give her son.
"I just missed you that's all, I'm so surprised that you are home before dad is, normally you're home way afterwards." As Mike got out of his hug with his mom and then went over to the barstool and sat on it with his dressing gown as he had a shower before hand.
"Well can't a mother be home to her kids and get home before her husband?" As she laughed while Donna looked at the mail when she picked it up before she got into the Condo.
"Dad is going to be shocked that you're going to be cooking dinner." Amy laughed as she sat next to her brother on the barstool in the kitchen when Donna started to make dinner.
"Well, that's what happens when you get married and have kids you make a promise to do everything in your power to do everything especially when you work." Donna answered her kids when she got all the food out for dinner.
"Hello kids! Amy! Mikey! Are you home?! I'm going to be putting on the dinner on soon after I have my shower!." As Harvey put down his key's in the key holder by the front door and shut the door and walked up to his family and saw his wife in the kitchen with children.
"Hey babe you hungry?" Donna asked as she was preparing their dinner for the evening and Harvey stood there shocked.
"Your... your home early, what happened?" Harvey came over to his wife and gave her the biggest kiss that a husband can give his wife.
"Hmmmmm okay, okay Harvey I know that you love me, and I love you too but there are kids in the house and I have dinner to make so..." Donna smiled through the kiss.
"You don't know how much i love you baby." As he came away from the kiss so he and Donna can have some oxygen.
"I love you too, but seriously I know that you are excited, but I have to cook I am a mother and a wife too as well as a model, social media, personality and businesswoman." As Donna kissed Harvey back.
"Urgh please get a room." Amy muttered as she left the kitchen.
