(Hey all, SOWRS here, and welcome to Revved Up Chapter 3! Today is going to be pretty long, so make sure you stick with me here.)
(RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth, otherwise Ruby would have F Cups.)

I woke up in quite possibly the ugliest room I had ever seen. Girls in pajamas surrounded me with yawns and complaints. I had a good dream, though. It was about Blake.
The whole school was told that today was "initiation day."
Oh boy, initiation day!
Today, everyone in the whole school would be organized into groups of 16, which in turn would become 4 teams. Today would be the day I would have official teammates, and also an actual room!
We were also told to board our assigned plane in the flight area. My plane was number C-94.
And sure enough, there it was. C-94.
As I boarded the plane, which was large enough to hold a few people at a time but not the whole student body, I once again met up with Jaune, who was vomiting in a trash can.
"You alright, Jaune?" I asked him nervously.
"Yep…" He barfed again, then continued, "Just a little planesick."
"...You'll be alright." I told him.
"...Yup. Always have been." he replied.
Just then, I heard a call for attention. "Sounds like Ozpin," I realized.
I lined up next to a few other people, like that Weiss girl I met yesterday, some tall red haired dude who seemed kinda mean, and a boy in a green shirt.
Ozpin and Glynda stood in front of us, and the headmaster began explaining our initiation.
"Students, we are currently flying over Emerald Forest, where you will begin our initiation. After I say 'go,' all 16 of you will be dropped into the forest, where the first person you see will be your partner in this test.
Now, the reason you will need a partner is because in this forest, you will meet dangerous beasts which will stop at nothing to kill you. If you can survive whatever finds you in this forest for 3 hours with exactly 4 hour's worth of food, we will come get you, and when we do, you will be combined with the pair closest to your location upon retrieval to form your new team!
And now, on 'one,'... ten… nine… one!"
And so we fell. "That was mean," I thought to myself, as I found myself plummeting towards the ground at break-neck speed. That's the way I liked it, though. I did have a turbo mode, after all.
I ended up falling in a bush, and I peeped out to see if anyone was there.
No one.
I wandered for a bit, and heard what sounded like… complaining. "I get that," I thought. "No one likes being dropped from a plane by surprise." I investigated the source of the noise, and it was, of all people, Weiss!
We stared in eachother's eyes for a minute, then she walked off, muttering something about not wanting to "associate herself" with "that spazz."
"Rude," I thought. "Eh, she'll come back eventually." I guessed, chomping on a peeled orange.
After a while, I heard what sounded like Jaune calling to Weiss from very high up, and then, sure enough, Weiss had returned. "You came back!" I exclaimed happily, as she grabbed me by the arm, dragging me along, while reminding me that, "This does NOT mean we are friends."
We went like that for a few minutes, when Weiss spotted something. "Beowolves." she whispered. "Two of them."
"Well then, let's prepare for a brawl!" I yelled, so the shadowy canines could hear me. "Are you an IDIOT?" Weiss glared at me. But still, we both motorized and prepared for a fight.
I morphed into my hot-rod form, and strafed around, when I saw something I never would have expected. A white 1995 Mustang, with a sword on the hood instead of an ornament.
Cold air started coming out of her exhaust pipes, creating an ice sculpture of a knight! Human sized, but capable with a sword. This inanimate statue started swinging at one of the Beowolves, and was somehow holding it down! Weiss drifted around the lupine monster, and stabbed it in its glutes!
I was tasked, then, with the other one. To my luck, this one was bigger. Or at least it seemed to be, given that it was gaining on me. Luckily, I had a plan. I happened to come with a turbo mode, and now I put it to good use, sliding under the monstrous mongrel's muscular legs, and slashing its back with my rear-mounted scythes!
It turned around, enraged, and suddenly I realized… that was a terrible idea.
I used my turbo mode, and dashed in a straight line. He followed me. "Perfect. Now I just need to find a tree." Thankfully, there were plenty of those, and as I was about to run into one, I made a hard turn, returning to safety. The massive mutt couldn't keep up, though, and crashed directly into it.
The Beowolf was stunned. "Now's my chance," I thought to myself. I turned around, braking as hard as I could, and gunned the concussed creature down with my shotgun barrels.
After a few shots, it completely evaporated. I had won.
I raced back to find Weiss, and she was waiting for me in her human form. "What took you so long, you dunce?" she scolded. "I've been waiting for you for hours!"
"Sorry…" I said, a little less nervously. "I had to lead it a ways to make my plan work.."
"Tch… whatever." she scoffed. "Let's just go."
At the 1 ½ mark, I heard the sound of a blowtorch in a new neck of the woods. "Must be Yang," I thought. I skipped in the direction of the sound, with Weiss unwillingly following behind.
It was Yang, sure enough. I also encountered a stealth bomber, though I couldn't quite recognize who it was. They had just finished off an Ursa, and Yang's exhaust pipes stopped spurting flame.
Which, of course, had left small fires everywhere. "Eh, it'll be alright." I assured myself. "The only thing Yang's flames really hurt is Grimm, and occasionally people."
"Sup, Rubes!" Yang waved, now in her human form. "You missed out on that. It was SO COOL!"
"Judging from the fire, I'm guessing it was!" I agreed.
"Well, it wasn't all me…" Yang blushed, clearly flattered.
The stealth bomber landed, seemingly teleporting on the ground. I strolled over, waiting to see who they were, and…
It was Blake. It was Blake! IT WAS BLAKE!
Barely keeping my composure, I gushed, "OMG hi Blake imagine seeing you here do you wanna hang out after the initiation you are so cool I wanna be around you mooooooooore!"
Calmly, she replied with "Yeah, let's hang out after this. I think you're pretty cool too."
I turned to Weiss, still captivated by Blake's serotonin spell. She was a few feet away, talking to Yang. I yelled, "WEISS I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY WE ARE STICKING WITH THESE PEOPLE." Weiss, blushing, yelled back, "That's… fine."
Yang strolled over to Blake and I, saying "Yeah, she totally likes me." Weiss was too embarrassed to respond. I wasn't surprised, though. My sister was a master at charming people. She had had 3 boyfriends in middle school, and 4 in high school, and she was the one to dump them all. The fact that she had D Cups helped that. Me, though, I had B Cups. So I was nowhere near as attractive as her.
Around the three minute mark, we heard the plane. Time to get our teams.
The team-forming was held in its own room. This room was air-conditioned, with dim lights and beautiful carpeting.
Ozpin appeared on stage. He announced, "Students, you are only sixteen out of millions of children who are waiting to be evaluated.
All I want to tell you before we start, is that you have done well. Like those great students before you, you have survived to the final stage of your entry into Beacon.
From here on out, I trust that you will do well in your studies, in battle, and in life. I hope that you will treat not just your team, but all students fairly.
And I mean that. If you are mistreated by anyone here, student or staff, do not hesitate to tell me.
And with that, let the team-forming begin!"
First up were the second-years. There were only 4 second years on our plane, so only one second year team would be formed here.
"Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi. You will form…" Ozpin looked down at his coffee, then exclaimed, "Team CFVY!"
Everyone clapped, and four students walked up on stage. A brunette in a beret and aviators, who I assumed was Coco due to her place in the lineup, spoke into the mike. "Thank you so much, Headmaster! We are glad to be back and this school year is gonna be great!"
A girl with bunny ears, who I assumed was Velvet, spoke up. "Not like last time, I hope…"
Yep, I wasn't worried at all.
Ozpin replied, "Don't worry, Ms Scarlatina, the Wyvern problem has been prevented."
Yep, not worried in the slightest.
Ozpin concluded CFVY's initiation with, "Well putting that aside, I hope you four will have an excellent school year." Everyone clapped, and CFVY left the room, now able to do whatever they wished in their new fancy dorm.
Boy, did I want a dorm.
Now, it was finally the first year's turn. "Cardin Winchester, Russell Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark, you will form Team CRDL!" Applause yet again, and four students, all male, walked up on stage. The leader, Cardin, spoke. "Thanks for putting us together, Headmaster, and I assure you, this school year will go… without worry."
Yep, he was beginning to be wrong.
"In that case, I will make sure to keep an eye on you, Team CRDL. Have a great school year."
Applause, and the grinning boys left the room. "Better watch out for them," I thought.
"Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren, you will form Team JNPR!" Applause yet again, and Jaune, along with three other kids I didn't recognize stepped on stage.
…Oh, who am I kidding. I totally recognized Pyrrha. I had seen her on Pumpkin Pete's, that cereal that Dad likes. I think Dad is the only person who likes it, too, because it doesn't… taste very good.
The other two, though, I had no idea.
Jaune spoke. "Thanks, Headmaster. I think this school year is gonna go great!"
You know, he was right.
The pink-haired girl, who I assumed was Nora, spoke up. "Heck YEAH it's gonna be! I'm with Ren, after all!"
Ozpin replied, "I heard you two knew each other for a while, so that was intentional."
Pyrrha spoke up. "Headmaster, it is an honor to be here. I hope this school year will be just as successful as my experience at Mistral."
Ozpin commented, "Oh I assure you, it will be. After all, you have proven yourself successful in the area of sport."
"Thank you, Headmaster." Pyrrha bowed.
Ozpin concluded with, "Well, I hope you have a wonderful school year." Applause once more, then JNPR left.
It had all come down to this. Finally, it was our turn.
"Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, you will form Team RWBY!" We all stepped on stage. Ozpin was the only one who applauded, since he was the only one there.
"Umm… do I still have to do the speech?" I asked sheepishly.
"I don't see why you would." Ozpin replied. "Have a wonderful school year, you four."
Once we left the room, a few students entered the room after us, ready to be teamed up.
After they had passed by, Glynda appeared to hand us a map. "Find your dorm," she instructed. "Have a nice day."
On our way to dorm room 959, we were celebrating my leadership status. Weiss, however, was not.
"How does SHE get to be the leader? I should be the leader. I'm Weiss Schnee." she complained. I wasn't worried, though, because I expected this kind of thing from someone like her.
Yang, always trying to make me feel better, stopped Weiss with, "Do you really think complaining is gonna get you leadership status? You gotta earn that shit, Weiss."
Weiss shut up for the rest of the walk, and also the elevator ride.
The rest of the day went as normal. At lunch I saw Cardin giving Velvet dirty looks, but Coco Adel's sharp glare intimidated him enough to leave her alone. So that happened.
For dinner, we decided to go out for ramen. I took the team to a ramen place me and Yang like called "Tale of Ramenji," and just as I had planned, Blake loved the fish. What I didn't plan for though, is that Yang forgot her wallet, and she was always the one who paid when we went here. Luckily, Team JNPR happened to be there, so not only did our food get paid for, we got to meet another team properly!
Jaune introduced his team members in order, starting with himself. Apparently, his sister Saphron is the world champion at Giga Green Fighters. Also, she's lesbian. Cool.
Nora was the next member of the team. She was hyper, incredibly strong, and her vehicle form was a Ram 500. She had a special ability, which was to increase the speed of her door-mounted hammers using only electricity. Also, she loved pancakes. Cool.
Then came the stunning Pyrrha Nikos. As I have mentioned, she was a beautiful girl on the box of a less than beautiful cereal. What I forgot to mention is the reason she was on that cereal box is because she won her home fighting tournament, the Mistral Tournament, FOUR TIMES IN A ROW! She's an expert strategist, and can use her magnet ability to attract her opponent towards her in order to better hit them with a grenade from her Boeing Flying Fortress form! Also, she lifts. Cool.
Finally, there's Lie Ren. They called him Ren instead of Lie for some reason, and I never really asked why. His speedboat form, like all aquatic forms, was able to use the ground like water. His ability was to shoot a special pheromone from the front of the boat, which would calm his allies to disguise them from Grimm. Also he could make pancakes. Cool.
After dinner, we caravanned back to Beacon with JNPR, and hung out in our respective dorms a bit more. Not much happened around that time. But by nightfall, we brushed our teeth, got into jammies, and said goodnight as we laid in our actual beds. It was so good, laying in bed. I soon fell asleep, and dreamed of classes, the battles we would win, and Blake.
