Deep within Lush Jungle in the Alola region, a male Flareon and female Vaporeon protected their only offspring-an Eevee. It had been a year since they found it. The couple were the leaders of Lush Jungle, both abandoned by trainers who thought they were weak. This egg was very important because if it were to not hatch, the jungle would become chaos in a large battle to see who would inherit the throne.
Both Flareon and Vaporeon could not believe their ears. The egg was hatching.
Quickly turning around, they saw a small ear poke out. Soon, it seemed as if all the Pokémon in the jungle was watching. As the rest of the shell crumbled, Flareon and Vaporeon stood in horror. Their only heir was was shiny, posing a huge risk to the whole jungle. They all knew that if a human found her, the entire forest was at risk at being found.
"Throw her out!" Squawked a Trumbeak. "Now now everyone, no need for-" started Flareon. However, he was quickly interrupted by Oranguru. "King Flareon, we all know shinies are weaknesses. The rule of the jungle is that if a shiny hatches as royalty, they are thrown out." Vaporeon sadly looked down, not wanting to accept the facts. Vaporeon and Flareon went cautiously to the entrance to Lush Jungle in silence. Not understanding what was going on, the Eevee looked at her parents with confusion. A Toucannon grabbed her, knowing what to do.
"Wait!" Said Vaporeon. "Let me name her first." Toucannon nodded. "Frost," whispered her mother. Both her parents sat down, grieving, as Frost was taken away. "Goodbye... Frost." Both her parents said in unison. Frost cried as her parents were getting farther and farther away, until they were just dots, then nothing. Pretty soon, the entire island was gone. Frost was dropped on Poni Island, in Poni Meadow.
She burrowed underneath some tree roots, and fell asleep confused and crying.
