A month after she was abandoned, Frost had finally went out of her tree-root den. For the whole month she had hid in the tree roots, only eating berries that fell from the tree. It was late autumn, were the normal-colored brown Eevees' colors would work well. They would blend into the fallen brown leaves, but Frost was as white as snow. If she went out during the day, she would stand out and Gumshoos would attack her. However, if she went out at night, her white fur would reflect the moonlight and attract Mandibuzz. Also, on top of that, she was still only level 1, and was too weak to resist any attack.

She began foraging for food, finding the scraps left behind by larger Pokémon. After a long, tiring day of fleeing from Pokémon, foraging, and avoiding humans, she fell into an unforgiving nightmare.

She awoke into a new world, with nothing but sky and water you could walk on. "Where... am I?" She stuttered. Looking into the water she saw her reflection. But it was not only her she saw, but also a godly figure. Terrified, she spun around, seeing the creator of the world.

Arceus.

"Young Frost." It said. "Tell me your troubles." Hesitating, Frost spoke. "My own mother and father abandoned me. I literally live in a hole in the ground. No one... cares... about me..." she said, sniffling. "But I care, young Frost." Stated Arceus. "We all have purpose in this world, even if we sometimes seem like we are mere specks of dust compared to the universe." Frost quickly stood up, looking straight into Arceus's eyes. "Arceus!" She exclaimed. "Please! Tell me my role. Please tell me my role so I can fulfill it." Arceus chuckled a bit. "Young Frost, destiny is not something assigned to you at the moment you hatched. Destiny is something you craft yourself." As Arceus finished, he began fading away. "No! Arceus!" Said Frost. "Come back!" As Arceus faded to nothing, the nightmare began.

The sky turned to black, and the fluffy clouds became blood red. The water you could stand on turned out to be a mirror, as it shattered beneath Frost's paws. After standing back up, Mandibuzz cries could be heard in the distance. The memory of being taken away by Toucannon flashed in her memory. It felt like she was reliving it.

She awoke in a sudden jolt, realizing it was a nightmare. Branches were wrapped around her like talons, explaining why she felt trapped in Toucannon's talons. The moon shone in the distance, full and bright. Knowing the risks, but doing it anyway, she got out and scaled the nearest cliff. Staring at the moon, Arceus's words echoed in her mind. "What is my purpose?" She whispered. "I will find out. I promise, Arceus."
