After the sound of a loud thud, the girls looked around to see the bedroom a mess. "You okay, Abby?" Madison asked as she looked at her dog and the Dachshund looked at her. "Are you alright?" Dorothy asked as she looked at her.
"Yes. I'm alright. That was kind of a... ride." said Madison as she felt a little dizzy, "What about you?" "I'm alright um... you know I don't think we've introduced ourselves, haven't we?" Dorothy asked. "I don't think so. Although that would have been a bad timing cause of the tornado. I'm Madison and this is my dog, Abby." she said with a smile as she held her hand out.
"I'm Dorothy. Dorothy Gale." she said and shook Madison's hand. "Nice to meet you, Dorothy." "So, tell me, what were you doing out there when there was a twister out?" Dorothy asked as she was concern. "Well... um... I know it sounds crazy, but the thing is that I'm not from Kansas. I'm from West Virginia."
"West Virginia?" "Yes. I... don't know how ended up to your homeland, I was in my room with Abby. We were asleep and the next thing happen is when you came up to me and were in a bad weather with a tornado. It's crazy, I know." she answered.
Dorothy looked at the girl strangely. True she met several people in her homeland and never met her and the Dachshund. "Well, it is impossible that you're from a different state. And things can be crazy and strange sometimes. I think I should believe you." she said.
Madison looked at the farm girl and smiled but looked at the house. "Wondered where we landed at?" she asked. "I don't know. But we must check it out." said Dorothy.
The girls slowly got out of the bed as they carried their dogs. They exit the room and saw that everything was destroyed. "Sorry about your house. Everything looks destroyed from the twister." said Madison. "Things like that happens all the time when it comes by." said Dorothy.
As they finally got to the door and Dorothy opened it, the look on the girls' faces looked shocked but amazed at what they are seeing.
Outside of the house, big and small flowers were everywhere and there were some small houses and buildings. Madison looked at the scene and everything was in color. She looked at her outfit seeing that the overall dress was pink, shirt was white, and her boots were brown. She looked at Dorothy seeing the exact colors like in the movie. Blue, plaided dress, white puff sleeves, and her shoes were black. Their dogs were dark too but with brown parts on Abby.
"It's so... beautiful." said Madison with amazement. "Yes. But where are we?" Dorothy asked as she stepped out of the house. Madison followed Dorothy as she carried her dog and they both looked around.
"Toto, Madison, Abby. I'm afraid we're not in Kansas anymore." "I don't think we're not in West Virginia either." said Madison as she looked at the place. She looked around as she felt like someone's watching but know exactly whom they are. "We must be over the rainbow." said Dorothy as she smiled.
Madison smiled as she put Abby down for the moment but then saw something in the sky. "Uh, Dorothy..." she spoke. Dorothy turned around as she looked up to see what Madison just saw. The saw a big bubble coming down towards them. The girls slowly backed away as it was coming down but as the bubble disappeared, they saw a beautiful woman, dressed in a sparkling pink dress with butterflies on it, a big pink crown, and a wand in her hand.
The girls looked at her with amazement. "Now I know we're not in Kansas." Dorothy said to herself. Madison wanted to say something but couldn't find the right words her until Abby barks at her. "Abby!" Madison hushed her as she picked her up, "Really need to work on you being social."
The mysterious woman walked slowly towards them with grace but had a curious and concern face. "Are you two good witches or bad witches?" she asked. The girls looked at each other and looked back at her. "Who us?" Dorothy asked and the woman nod her head. "Why, we're not witches at all. I'm Dorothy Gale from Kansas." "And I'm Madison from West Virginia."
"Oh. Well, are those the witches?" the woman asked as she looked at the dogs. "Who, Toto? Toto's my dog." said Dorothy. "And so is my dog, Abby." said Madison.
The woman giggled. "Oh well, I'm a little muddled. The Munchkins called me, because new Witches has just dropped the house on the Wicked Witch of the East. And there's the house and here you two are and that's all that's left of the Wicked Witch of the East." she said and as she points her wand and show the girls a pair of feet under the house.
The girls looked shocked to see a pair of legs with stripped stockings and a pair of red shoes. "And so, what the Munchkins want to know is, are you two good witches or bad witches?" the woman asked. "But we're really not witches' ma'am." said Madison. "Agree. Witches are like old and ugly." said Dorothy. 'Not to this woman.' Madison thought until she and Dorothy heard a couple of giggles.
"What was that?" Dorothy asked and the woman gently smiled. "The Munchkins. They're laughing because I am a witch. I'm Glinda the Witch of the North." she answered. Dorothy looked shocked but not Madison, but she acted surprised. "You are? Oh, I beg your pardon. But Madison and I never heard of a beautiful witch before." said Dorothy.
"Only bad witches are ugly. The Munchkins are happy because you two have freed them from the Wicked Witch of the East." said Glinda. "Oh, but if you please, what are Munchkins?" Dorothy asked and heard more giggling around the girls. "The little people who live here. It's Munckinland and you two are their national heroines my dears. It's all right. You may all come out and thank them." said Glinda. Madison and Dorothy looked around and saw tiny people coming out of their hiding spots.
Glinda: Come out, come out, wherever you are
And meet the young ladies who fell from the stars
They fell from the sky, they fell very far
And Kansas and West Virginia are the name of the stars
Munchkins: Kansas and West Virginia are the name of the stars
Glinda: They brings you good news
Or haven't you heard?
When they fell out of the stars, a miracle occurred
Madison: It really was no miracle
What happen was just this
The wind began to switch
The house to pitch
Dorothy: And suddenly the hinges started to unhitch
Just then, the witch to satisfy an itch
Went flying on her broomstick
Thumbing for a hitch
Male Munchkin: And oh, what happened then was rich.
Munchkins: The house began to pitch
The kitchen took a snitch
It landed on the Wicked Witch
In the middle of a ditch
Which was not a healthy situation
For the Wicked Witch
The house began to pitch
The kitchen took a snitch
It landed on the Wicked Witch
In the middle of a ditch
Which was not a healthy situation
For the Wicked Witch
Who
Began to twitch
And was reduced
To just a stitch
Of what was once The Wicked Witch
Madison and Dorothy watched the Munchkins danced and singed until they spotted a carriage that were drawn by a couple of ponies that was coming towards them. The girls smiled and went in as they held their dogs in their arms. Then a couple Munchkins came by with smiles on their faces.
"We thank you two very sweetly, for doing it so neatly." "You two have killed her so completely, that we thank you very sweetly." The second Munchkin handed them two beautiful bouquets of flowers. The girls smiled as they smelled the flowers until they heard Glinda spoke, " Let the joyous news be spread! The Wicked Old Witch at last is dead!"
The Munchkins cheered as the carriage start moving, the girls watched them march and start singing again.
Munchkins: Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead
Which old Witch?
The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead
Wake up, you sleepy head
Rub your eyes
Get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is Dead
She's gone where the Goblins go
Below...Below...Below
Yo-ho, let's open up and sing
And ring the bells out
Ding Dong! The merry-oh!
Sing it high
Sing it low
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!
As the carriage stopped, the girls looked to see a couple of trumpeters coming out of the building. They started a fanfare and saw a Munchkin dressed in green. Madison realized it was the mayor of this land and saw a barrister and a couple of council men coming out.
The mayor walked towards them with a welcoming smile and being a gentleman as he let Dorothy and Madison got out of the carriage and led them towards the barrister and other munchkins. The mayor looked at them and started to sing.
Mayor: As Mayor of the Munchkin City
In the County of the Land of Oz
I welcome you two most regally
Barrister: (interrupted) But we've got to verify it legally
To see...
Mayor: To see?
Barrister: If she...
Mayor: If she?
Barrister: Is morally, ethically
Councilman 1: Spiritually, physically
Councilman 2: Positively, absolutely
All: Undeniably and reliably dead!
Glinda smiled at the moment as the girls looked at the Council until another Munchkin which was a Coroner walks up to the mayor while holding a certificate.
Coroner: As Coroner, I must aver
I thoroughly examined her
And she's not only merely dead,
She's really, most sincerely dead
The mayor smiled and looked at the citizens of Munchkinland. "Then this the day of Independence! For all the Munchkins and their descendants!" "If any!" the Barrister shouted. "Yes, let the joyous news be spread. The Wicked Witch at last is dead!" the mayor shouted, and all the Munchkins starts cheering and singing.
Munchkins: Ding Dong! The Witch is dead
Which old witch?
The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead
Wake up, you sleepy head!
Rub your eyes,

The Munchkin soldiers marched as the Munchkin citizens all gather around. Then a trio of female Munchkin dressed in pink dresses come out to perform and sing for Dorothy and Madison as they watch.
Lullaby League Trio: We represent the Lullaby League,
The Lullaby League,
The Lullaby League

Munchkins: (escorted the girls to Glinda) Tr-la-la-la-la-la,
Tra-la-la-la-la,
Tra-la-la-la-la La!
The Munchkins cheer, but suddenly turn to screams as red smoke appeared. Madison knew what was happening as she held her dog tightly and Dorothy already picked up Toto as they stood close to Glinda. They saw a woman with green skin and wears a black dress, black cloak, a black pointed hat and she holds a broomstick appears. The woman looked at girls as they were frightening and shocked and then looked down to see the dead witch's feet.
"I thought you said she was dead." said Dorothy. "That was her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East. This is the Wicked Witch of the West and she's worse than the other one was." said Glinda. Madison wanted to say something, but she couldn't have the right words as she was frightened.
"Who killed my sister? Who killed the Witch of the East? Was it you two?" the witch shouted as she looked at them. "No! No, we didn't mean to!" "It was an accident! We didn't mean to kill anybody." the girls spoke. "Well, my little pretties. I can cause accidents too!" she said meanly. "Aren't you forgetting the ruby slippers?" Glinda asked.
"The slippers. Yes! The slippers." The witch quickly walked towards the house to get the red shoes but as she was about to reach them, the slippers disappeared, and the feet have drawn back to the house. "They're gone! The ruby slippers!" the witch spoke angrily and went back to Glinda and the girls, "What have you done with them?! Give them back to me or I'll..." "It's too late! There they are, and there they'll stay!" said Glinda as she pointed her wand down.
Dorothy and Madison looked down to see the ruby slippers at Dorothy's feet. The farm girl gasped as she looked at them. Madison looked at the slippers and see how beautiful they are in person. "And so is this." said Glinda as she pointed her wand at Madison.
Madison was confused as she looked at her. She looked at herself and only saw a necklace around her neck. "The necklace! You have it the whole time?!" the witch yelled at Glinda. Madison looked at the necklace but saw that the emerald was doing something. She looked at it and saw it was turning blue. 'The emerald... it turned into a sapphire! But why? I don't remember this necklace in the movie!' Madison thought as she looked at it. There were so many questions about it until the witch spoke.
"Give me back my slippers and that necklace! I'm the only one who knows how to use them. They're no use to you. Give them back to me. Give them back!" she yelled at the girls. "Keep tight inside of them. Their magic must be very powerful, or she wouldn't want them so badly." Glinda whispered to Dorothy and then she whispered to Madison, "And keep that with you. The magic in that necklace can do many things for you to do and not let evil have it."
"You stay out of this, Glinda or I'll fix you as well!" the witch yelled but Glinda laughed. "Oh, rubbish! You have no power here. Begone, before somebody drops a house on you too!"
The witch flinch as she looked at the sky and looked back at Glinda and the girls. "Very well. I'll bide my time." she said and then spoke to the girls, "And as for you two, my fine ladies, it's true I can't attend to you two here as I'd like. But just try to stay out of my way! Just try! I'll get you two my pretties and your little doggies too!"
Abby growled at the witch and then she cackles evilly and disappears in a cloud of red smoke. The Munchkins all gasp in fright as they saw she was gone.
"t's all right. You can get up, she is gone. It's all right. You can all get up." said Glinda and as all the Munchkins got up from the ground and out of their hiding places. "Oh! What a smell of sulfur!" she said and then spoke to the girls, "I'm afraid you two have made rather a bad enemy of the Wicked Witch of the West. The sooner you two get out of Oz altogether, the safer you two will sleep, my dear."
"Oh, Madison and I would give anything to get out of Oz altogether. But which is the way back to Kansas and her to West Virginia? We can't go the way we came." said Dorothy. "No, that's true. The only person who might know would be the great and wonderful Wizard of Oz himself."
After hearing the word, wizard, Madison looked at the Munchkins as they bow their heads in respect. "Oh, very good but mysterious. He lives in the Emerald City, and that's a long journey from here. Did you two bring your broomsticks with you?" Glinda asked. Madison shook her head and Dorothy replied, "No, I'm afraid we didn't."
"Well, then, you two will have to walk. The Munchkins will see you two safely to the border of Munchkinland. And remember, never let those ruby slippers off your feet and the necklace off your neck for a moment or you two will be at the mercy of the Wicked Witch of the West." she said and gave Dorothy and Madison each a kiss on the forehead.
"But how do we start for Emerald City?" Dorothy asked. "How do we get there?" Madison asked. "It's always best to start at the beginning. And all you two do is follow the Yellow Brick Road." said Glinda. The girls walked to the spiral yellow brick road and then turned to Glinda. "But what happens if I..." Dorothy tries to ask but Glinda stopped her and said, "Just follow the Yellow Brick Road." "Wait a minute, Glinda! This necklace? Can't you..." before Madison could finish her question, Glinda transforms into a pink bubble and flow away while the Munchkins said their goodbyes to her.
Madison felt disappointed as there were so many questions about the necklace. "My! People come and go so quickly here!" said Dorothy and the Munchkins nod and giggled. Madison turned to face Dorothy. "Well, looks like it's up to us to see the wizard." she said. Dorothy nodded her head and looked at the yellow brick road.
"Follow the Yellow Brick Road. Follow the Yellow Brick Road." said Dorothy as she and Madison follows the path of yellow bricks.
Mayor: Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Munchkin (male): Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Munchkin woman: Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Barrister: Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Munchkins: Follow the Yellow Brick Road.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road.
Follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow the Yellow Brick Road.
Follow the Yellow Brick
Follow the Yellow Brick
Follow the Yellow Brick Road
