The group finally made it to the city as they stopped by huge emerald gate. Dorothy and Madison grabbed a hold of the rope and ranged the bell. Then, out of a small window in the door, was a doorman.

"Who rang that bell?" he asked. "We did!" the group answered together. "Can't you read?" "Read what?" Scarecrow asked. "The notice!" the doorman answered. "What notice?" Madison, Scarecrow, and Dorothy asked. "It's on the door! As plain on the nose on my face!" he answered but as he looked down, seeing no sign on the door, he groaned in frustration and does a tsk expression as he went inside. He brought a sign out, hung it at the door and went back in.

The group looked at the notice and read, "Bell out of order. Please knock." Dorothy grabbed the door knocker and knocked on the door until the doorman came out. "Well! That's more like it! Now, state your business." "We wanna see the Wizard." The group answered.

The doorman gasped as he looks at them, "The Wizard? But nobody can see the great Oz. Nobody's ever seen the great Oz! Even I've never seen him!" "Well, then how do you know there is one?" Dorothy asked.

"Because he..." the doorman trying to find the right words but frown with frustration, "Oh! You're wasting my time!" Madison watched to see him go in but spoke, "Wait sir! Please!" "Please, sir. I've got to see the Wizard." said Dorothy. "We all want to see the wizard." said Madison. "The Good Witch of the North sent me and my friend."

The doorman looked at the girls. "Prove it!" he said. "She's wearing the ruby slippers that she gave her." said Scarecrow as she pointed at Dorothy. "And she's wearing the necklace she gave her that belong to the Witch of the East only it turned blue and not green." said Lion as she pointed at Madison. The doorman looked at the girls and could believe his eyes as he looked at the ruby slippers and the necklace.

"Oh! So, they are! Well, bust my buttons! Why didn't you say that in the first place?" the doorman asked, and the group smiled, "That's a horse of a different color! Come on in!" he said as he went back in.

The doors open as Dorothy and her friends see inside the Emerald City. The Ozian citizens all wear green clothes. Madison saw that the city was more beautiful in person but saw the citizens looked at her and the rest of the group until a coachman and a colorful horse came by to them.

"Cabby! Cabby! Just what you're looking for. Take you any place in the city, we do." said the coachman. "Would you take us to see the Wizard?" Dorothy asked. "Yes, we do want to see him." said Madison.

"The Wizard? The Wizard? Yes, of course. But first I'll take you to a little place where you can tidy up a bit up." said the coachman. "Oh, thank you so much!" said Dorothy as she and the others got on the carriage, "We've been gone such a long, and we feel so mess."

Madison looked at the horse as it changed to a different color. She was amazed and wondered if any horses could change color if that happen in real life. Dorothy looked at Madison and the looked surprised to see the horse in a different color. "What kind of a horse is that? I've never seen a horse like that before!"

"No, and never will again, I fancy. There's only one of them, and he's it. He's the horse of a different color you've heard talk about." the coachman laugh and then starts driving the carriage.

Ozians: (singing) Ha-ha-ha!

Ho-ho-ho!

And a couple of tra-la-las.

That's how we laugh the day away

In the Merry Old Land of Oz.

Bzz, bzz, bzz!

Chirp, chirp, chirp!

And a couple of la-di-das.

That's how the crickets crick all day

In the Merry Old Land of Oz!

We get up at twelve

And start to work at one

Take an hour for lunch

And then at two we're done

Jolly good fun!

Ha-ha-ha!

Ho-ho-ho!

And a couple of tra-la-las.

That's how we laugh a day in the merry old land of Oz.

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

That's how we laugh the day away with the Ho-ho-ho!

Ha-ha-ha!

In the merry old land of Oz.

The coachman stopped the carriage and stopped in front of a place called 'Wash and Brush Up Co' where a couple of people were standing to wait for customers to come by. The group got off of carriage and went in to clean up.

Inside the place, a couple of Masseurs were putting fresh straw for the Scarecrow.

Masseurs: Pat, pat here,

Pat, pat there,

And a couple of brand-new straw.

That's how we keep you young and fair

In the Merry Old Land of Oz.

Next beside the Scarecrow, a couple of Polishers were polishing the Tin Man as he was shiny and not rusty.

Polishers: Rub, rub here,

Rub, rub there,

Whether you're tin or bronze,

That's how we keep you in repair,

In the Merry Old Land of Oz.

Then next to the Tin Man, a couple of Beauticians were grooming Dorothy with her hair down with curls and a bow behind her head. Madison was looking at herself in the mirror and twirled with a new dress that is green and beautiful and her short hair was nice and curled. The beauticians did let wear the necklace as it was important. The dogs were also groomed as well.

Beautician: (singing) We can make a dimpled smile out of a frown

Dorothy: Can you even dye my eyes to match my gown?

Beautician: Uh-huh.

Girls: Jolly old town!

Finally, the rest of the beauticians were around lion as they were grooming him and put a bow on top of him.

Beauticians: Clip, clip here,

Clip, clip there.

We give the roughest claws

Lion: That certain air of savoir faire

In the Merry Old Land of Oz!

The group, now all groomed, polished, and ready, came to the Lion as the see the ribbon on his mane.

Scarecrow: Ha-ha-ha!

Tin Man: Ho-ho-ho!

Girls: Ha-ha-ha!

Lion: Hah!

All: That's how we laugh the day away

In the Merry Old Land of Oz

The Ozians laugh as they wave to Dorothy, Madison, and their friends and they were on their way to see the wizard, but suddenly the Witch appears in the sky as everyone screamed and look up at the sky. The Witch kept flying on her broomstick, while cackling madly and she writes a threatening message with black smoke in the sky.

"Who's her? Who's her?" Lion asked as she nervously stood beside Dorothy and Madison. "It's the Witch!" "She followed us here!" said the girls. All looked up in the sky to see the words on what she wrote. "Surrender Dorothy and Madison!" Lion read. The girls looked with horror and their friends stood close to them for protection.

"Dorothy? Who's Dorothy?" "And who's Madison?" the citizens asked. "The Wizard will explain it!" "To the Wizard! To the Wizard!" all the citizens shout and ran to the direction. "Oh dear! Whatever shall we do?" Dorothy asked. "Well, we better hurry if we're going to see the Wizard!" said Scarecrow. "Right, we need to go!" said Madison and the group headed to the big doors to where the big crowd is.
