Three years had passed...

Everyone in the gym was staring at the Demon of Hyrule Sword Fighting, Ganondorf, and the upcoming warrior that is Young Link. They couldn't help but notice how insanely ripped and yoked Young Link is from three years of training. Every muscle in the young boy's body is feathered up and vascular, and his muscles are filled to the brim in proportion to his height. Once Young Link and Ganondorf stop training, everyone looked away.

"There's no shame in looking at the young boy like you do..." Ganondorf chuckled evilly.

Everyone turned their heads to pay attention to the former champion immediately.

"I think we should all take a moment to consider that we may have found my successor. This warrior is born with the highest potential to be one of the greatest Swordsman. And to top it all off, after three years of adoption, I have finally considered him ready for what he, and everyone else knows, is coming. If there were a person who could rise from the ashes of poverty, Link here would be it!" Ganondorf gives a speech to the new sworders of the Hyrule Sword Fighting Tournament.

Everyone would give a round of applause with some of the sworders whistling in excitement. Young Link would bow respectfully to the crowd Ganondorf gave him.

"So, Kid? You think you're ready to take on Hyrule and the world?" Ganondorf asked the young boy.

Time stopped in Young Link's perspective to give himself some time to think of his decision. He didn't believe his time in the spotlight would come after three years of training, but it's something he should've been anticipating. But now, he could ultimately rise from the ashes of poverty, like a phoenix rebirthing from its death. Young Link's perception of time reverts to normal as he looks up at Ganondorf and speaks.

"I'm ready..."

Ganondorf's toothy grin of pride showed itself, and he laughed in joy as he immediately found his answer.

"You heard the kid, boys, and girls! His debut match will start tomorrow!" Ganondorf declared as people again gave a round of applause, whistles piercing the room.

At Hyrule Castle, a young princess, Zelda, would watch TV with her father, the king of Hyrule, Rhoam Bosphamoramus. Coincidentally enough, she and her father were watching the Hyrule Sword Fighting Tournament when they heard of an upcoming superstar said to be Ganondorf's star pupil. This shocking event puts tensions in Hyrule Castle at an all-time high for King Rhoam, Zelda, and its residents, as Zelda knew Young Link personally when he's allowed to enter the castle.

"Father... It's Link who's Ganondorf's pupil, isn't it...?" Zelda asked calmly but nervously.

"Yes... If you remember his final fight with him and me..." King Rhoam hesitantly reminded his daughter of his brutal match with Ganondorf.

"I know... I don't see things being a bright future for him..." Zelda solemnly nodded with a silent expression of fear as they watched the Hyrule Sword Fighting Tournament on TV.
