Prologue
The Third Hokage could only describe the aftermath of the Kyuubi attack...
'It's a distaster'
Which in his mind was an understatement
Almost half of the village was destroyed, even the casualties were half of the village's population. The shinobi armed forces were severely crippled as many shinobi lives were lost, most were Elite Jounin, Chunin, and a few Genin. But the most devastating blow was the death of his successor.
"Minato, Kushina, i'm sorry for not saving you to the last minute" He whispered with great sorrow and shed a tear on his eye.
The entire Uzumaki-Namikaze Clan was anihilated, the deaths of the Yondaime, and his wife and child were demoralizing to Konoha as the news spread out. The village was in mourning for the fallen family which should've bought the village into greatness, the news spread out to the entire elemental nations that Minato Namikaze was dead.
The Nations gave their condolences, except for Iwa who were elated that their most hated enemy was dead and his family along with him.
"Disrepectful fools" Hiruzen spat, the Iwa village had never got over the last war.
The Third had taken the mantle of Hokage once again, but now he's in his twilight years and wanted to find a successor fast
Kakashi Hatake, Tsunade Senju, and Jiraiya were the three potential candidates. Kakashi, which he has the most credibility since he was the last survivor of Minato's genin team, Tsunade was second due to her being the grandchild of the First Two Hokages, and Jiraiya, who is not Hokage material due to his 'activities' and his Spy Network but has some qualities of a Hokage.
The Sandaime sighed, regretting not saving the expected child of Minato, he shed a tear.
"I'm sorry Naruko"
But what he dosen't know is that Naruko is no longer in this world, he just disappeared.
In Dimensional Rift
The God of Shinobi, Hagoromo Ookotsuki was surprised to see a baby.
But he knew exactly who this baby is, This was Naruko Uzumaki-Namikaze, Ashura's reincarnation.
The demon child, the jailer of the Nine-tailed fox, and the Child of Prophecy. The God had seen the child's life over and over, she had gone through hell and came out on top.
But Hagoromo also looked at the infant Namikaze with sympathy. The child endured so much, that it wasn't funny.
He felt he owed her, for enduring so much he decided to give her a better life outside the Elemental Nations.
And he now has an idea where he'll 'relocate' Naruko.
"Is it wise to let her in this other world?" A mysterious voice questioned, "This place had a more bloody history than that of the Elemental Nations. The things here will change her"
"Need not fret, my friend" Hagoromo said "This world can mold Naruko to a better person than her counterparts. Besides, she deserved better in life than the life of a shinobi."
The voice sighed, and let Naruko go to the other world, hoping that the world might not corrupt her.

Bradbury Lines British Army Barracks
Location: Credenhill, Herefordshire, U.K.
October 1962.
It was late in the evening in the quiet town of Herefordshire County.
Maj. Godfrey Kenwood was riding back to Bradbury from London in his Mini. The weather was quite unusual since it never rained this hard for years.
"Bloody Hell." Kenwood cursed, he can barely see anything in the dark despite the Mini's headlights, the rain poured heavily and violently, the winds blew hard like gale, and the sounds of thunder and lightning grow louder and terrible, Like if Zeus had been angered.
Except there's no God of Storms, just an extremely powerful storm.
Godfrey cursed internally at the weather yet he was puzzled, he had heard that the weather is fine in the radio that day, did the weather forcast get it wrong?
As the car nears the Barracks, he was relieved.
"Fuckin' finally, time to get out of this bloody-"
But his musings was interrupted by a sudden flash of white light and a crack of an explosion, which caught and blindied the British SAS Major by surprise.
"SHIT!" His car swerved left and right until his car crashed into a ditch.
Luckily, Godfrey wasn't injured though he had a few scratches on his face.
Groaning, he got out of the car and into the storm outside, he sees the car which is mostly intact and with little damage, the problem now is that it needed to be towed which the nearest towing station is miles away.
"Fuck." He said, cursing his luck.
"Luckily, the barracks is just a short walk away so it wouldn't be a problem-"
Then... Godfrey heard something, his years of training in the SAS helped him improve his senses, and his improved hearing noticed something's wrong.
Though the winds are strong and the rain heavy, he can hear the sounds of a cry.
"What the-?!"
Then Godfrey realized it, it was a baby's cry!
And it's coming from near the trees.
Immediately, the man rushed into the tree brush and searched all over.
The sounds of the cry were becoming louder and louder as he went deeper into the interior.
When he reached the center, as he emerged from the bushes what Godfrey found horrifies him.
It was a lone tree in the middle of a clearing, the tree had been burnt due to being struck by lightning, but what horrified Godfrey was what's underneath the burnt tree.
Underneath the tree trucks lies a bundle of cloth, with tiny hands sticking out of it, and surrounding the bundle of cloth were a bunch of stray dogs approaching it.
His insticts kicking in, Godfrey pulled out his revolver from his holster and shoots it in the air, firing two shots which scared the dogs away.
There, the man runs to the tree and finds the cloth bundle, he carries it in his arms and looks at it.
"My God."
It was a baby, just recently born and covered in blood, fearing the worst he looks at the naked babe for any wounds.
He sighed in relief as he finds none.
"There there, everything's okay." Godfrey hushes the baby and then sings to him a tune:
Some talk ofAlexander, and some ofHercules,
OfHector andLysander, and such great names as these.
But of all the world's brave heroes, there's none that can compare.
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, to the British Grenadiers.
Those heroes of antiquity ne'er saw a cannon ball,
Or knew the force of powder to slay their foes withal.
But our brave boys do know it, and banish all their fears,
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.
Whene'er we are commanded to storm thepalisades,
Our leaders march withfusees, and we with handgrenades.
We throw them from theglacis, about the enemies' ears.
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.
And when the siege is over, we to the town repair.
The townsmen cry, "Hurrah, boys, here comes a Grenadier!
Here come the Grenadiers, my boys, who know no doubts or fears!
Then sing tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.
Then let us fill a bumper, and drink a health of those
Who carry caps and pouches, and wear theloupèd clothes.
May they and their commanders live happy all their years.
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.
This song he had sang since he was a boy, and had helped bring morale during the Malayan Emergency.
He sang this song all the way out of the forest and back into the open road, the baby was now calmed down by Godfrey's singing, and cooed softly and laughed.
The sounds of the baby brought joy into the man's heart.
"Feisty little bugger aint'cha?!" He smiled.
It had been 5 years since Godfrey's wife died due to cancer, and his life had been consumed by work, they lost their child through a miscarriage and caused grief within the widowed man.
The baby's laughter brought some joy back into his life.
Godfrey is now back inside his car, waiting for help to arrive and sure enough, the men from the barracks came with a tow truck and helped get the car back up.
As all of this was happening, Godfrey looked the baby with sadness.
'Poor thing, must've been abandoned all alone.'
It didn't take long to make a decision, he was going to adopt this baby as his own.
He lost his wife and child, perhaps this is God's way of giving him a second chance.
"I guess you'll be coming home with me..." Godfrey smiled and lightly poked the baby's nose.
"Nicole."
While Naruko Uzumaki-Namikaze is dead in her world. In this world, Nicole Kenwood is born.
