"And another win by the World Champion!" said the MC as he had finished commentating on the latest duel. "There's been nobody like the Prince who has ever been as dominant on the duel field as him."

"You ever think that these announcers tend to oversell things?" asked Isaac as he was watching the replay of his duel from last week.

"It's part of their job," said Juniper as she was on her tablet taking care of some things.

"Can't fault them, I guess. Anyways, did you make sure to send everybody the memo?" asked the boy.

"Everybody knows what to do," said Juniper to her client.

"I want to make sure that everything goes off without any mishap. We've been planning this for about a year now. It took a little longer than we expected, but that's because Twilight wanted both of us to hold off and pursue our careers for a bit longer." said Isaac.

"And I assure you that after all these years, you two will finally get engaged," stated Juniper.

"Well, I'm off to pick her up," said Isaac as he got into the car.

"Enjoy the weekend, Isaac."

"I will. Take the weekend off, as well as Juniper."

Isaac then started the vehicle's engine and was driving down the road. It had been over a year, and in that time, things changed. In the past year, Isaac and Twilight were thriving in their careers. For the girl, she had begun her card designing business with her partner, Moondancer. Isaac had financed Twilight's plan to build the place as it was up and running in a few months. From there, business was in session.

The girl would spend about 60% of her time working from home and would go to the place to handle problems and meetings. Along with Moondancer, the two girls ran the company with such precision. Not to mention, it was a friendly place as many people looking to get into the card designing scene would apply to the girl's company. Twilight's family was proud of her as she was living her dream. Even Shining Armor would sometimes ask his agent team to buy cards from his little sister's company.

Inside of a building, workers were running around. Papers went into the air. Computers crunched logarithms as they ran the numbers. They were all panicking as the computer system was going haywire. Moondancer walked by the aisle as the workers let the girl pass through; she approached the keyboard and began to type in some commands. The screen replied with a message as she grunted. She then tried other commands, but they all said the same thing.

"What are we going to do?" asked one of the workers to his boss.

"Nothing I do works," said Moondancer as it got the workers to gasp at seeing one of the owners in the company fail. "But... she can."

At that moment, the elevator went off. The doors opened to reveal a girl like Moondancer, as she was wearing a fancy lavender suit and miniskirt. Her hair was in a bun as she pushed up her glasses. The necklace around her dangled as the women began to walk.

"We're sorry, boss! We don't know what happened?" said one of the workers.

"We're don't know to fix it!" said a female worker.

Twilight grabbed a cup of water from one of the nearby interns as she took a sip and then tossed it into the trashcan while walking. She passed a table, grabbed a pen, and signed a piece of paper that another worker was holding as she put the pen in her ear. The entire crowd now let their boss through as she saw Moondancer.

"What's the sitch?" asked Twilight.

"Take a look for yourself," said Moondancer.

Twilight now looked at the mainframe as smoke was coming out. On the screen, there was an unhappy face.

"Did you run the diagnostics?"

"Already did, Twilight. This is what came up," said Moondancer as she showed her partner.

"Ohh, it's one of those. Well then," Twilight undid her bun and put her hair in a ponytail style.

"Not the ponytail!" said one of the workers murmuring.

"She only does that when it's a Code 8!" said another worker.

Twilight then rolled up the sleeves of her suit and began to type on the keyboard. Several mini-screens came up as they filled the larger screen. The girl's fingers were moving at lightning-fast speed with a set of focused eyes. The workers could see the gears grinding in their boss' brain as a bit of sweat rolled down her face. Twilight then lifted her finger and pressed it down on a key. The screen then had the unhappy face turn green. The signal was full, and small pixels of her monsters appeared. The digital version of High Priestess of Prophecy gave a thumbs up with Twilight's emoji face smiling as well.

"Problem solved," said Twilight taking off her glasses with a hair flip. The crowd behind her cheered for taking care of the crisis.

"Alright, back to work!" shouted Moondancer as they heard the command by their boss.

Everybody was now returning to their duties before the alarm went off. Twilight cleaned her glasses as Moondancer spoke.

"Another example of the workers seeing you in action. My, how do you do it, Miss Twilight?" asked Moondancer with some playfulness in her voice.

"It's quite simple, really," stated Twilight as she put her glasses back on.

The two girls walked and passed through a set of doors and into another part of the building. They signed some papers while walking as some more interns found them. The girls looked ahead as they listened to the interns as they answered it and gave their suggestions. The pair now entered an elevator as they pushed a button as it took them to an upper floor. After exiting and walking some more, they came to Twilight's office as they entered.

"And production has gone up by 2.314%," stated Moondancer.

"That's more than I expected. Guess that means, we should have a party to celebrate us meeting our goal," said Twilight as she approached her desk. She pulled out a drawer as inside was her duel disk; next to it was her deck.

"I'll make sure the crew knows and send them all gift baskets to reward their hard work," said Moondancer.

"Very well," said Twilight as she grabbed both items and put them in her bag. She then looked on her desk as there were several photos. One of them was her and the gang during their high school year. Another one had them from a year ago when they reunited, and all caught up. The next one had a photo of her and Isaac in their new home as it showed how happy they were.

"To think, you're about to get married after so long," smiled Moondancer.

"It took us quite a while, especially after I told Isaac that we should hold off for about a year. But... the day is almost here. We've been planning this and now... it's about to come true."

"Then all I should say is... congratulations!"

"Thanks, Moondancer. But when it comes to running this business, I couldn't have done it without you. Together, and with Isaac's money, we were able to start up our business."

"You deserve as much credit as I do," said the girl. "Besides, we're friends."

"Thank you."

"Now get going, girl. Your man is waiting downstairs for you. Don't worry, I'll finish things before everybody goes home for the weekend. Enjoy it, cause as you said, next week is your wedding. And I did get my invitation."

"I appreciate it," said Twilight as she finished packing her satchel and slung it across her body.

She then waved goodbye to her friends as she exited her office. Isaac had arrived in the parking lot as he turned the engine off. He then grabbed an item from the backseat as he exited from the car and went towards the parking lot entrance. He stood there with a smile on his face. At the moment, the door behind him opened up as coming out was a man as he had some flowers in his hand that he bought from the inside flower shop.

"Hey man, let me guess... birthday?" asked the person as he saw Isaac holding a flower.

"Nope... not her birthday," answered Isaac.

"Well, then it must be your anniversary?" stated the man.

"No... not our anniversary,"

"Ahh. You're in the dog house like me then, right? My girl caught me talking to my ex. What'd you do?"

"No... it's not for that reason either," smiled Isaac. "But that's what's wrong with people like you. You need a reason to do anything special."

"Hey," said Twilight as she came from the doors and saw Isaac standing there. She kissed the boy on his cheek. "Oh my goodness, I hope you weren't waiting too long. I got swamped," said the girl as she undid her hair and let it fall to her shoulders. Twilight then saw Isaac shift his arm behind him as it caused her to raise an eyebrow.

"Honey, what do you have back there?"

"This is for you, Twily," said Isaac as he revealed the flower he was holding.

"Thank you, honey," said Twilight with a happy look on her face as she took the flower and sniffed it. "Even on a random day, you're always treating me so special."

"Why don't I catch up with you at the car?" stated Isaac.

"Okay, well, I will just take this with me," said Twilight as the boy kissed her on her cheek as she left.

"Now I see who wears the pants in the family," said the man as he saw the whole interaction between Isaac and Twilight.

Isaac just simply laughed and chuckled for a bit. On his face, he had a smug smile as he addressed the person next to him.

"Look, man. It doesn't have to be a special event or something that I've done wrong to get my girl flowers. You see... I don't wait until her birthday to make her feel loved. I make her feel loved every day. I do it to let her know how much I appreciate her and that she's always on my mind. Even when I'm on the road. And I don't need to wait until her anniversary to send flowers; I do it for no apparent reason, just because I care. Just because it's Tuesday. Just to see her smile. And no, I'm not in the dog house. If I only got her flowers every time I made a mistake, then she'd always be sad when I gave her flowers. And I want her to be excited. It's sad that we live in a world where I need a reason to buy my girl flowers. I do it for no other reason than to make her feel special every chance I get."

"Is that a joke?" said the man. "Come on, girls are so easy to please. Watch my girl is gonna show up any minute and I'm gonna be like, 'Baby, these are for you. I'm so sorry, I promise I'll never cheat on you again. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.' It's that easy, kid." said the man, unaware that his woman was behind him hearing this.

"So it's that easy?" said the lady as it got the man to now turn around and look at her.

"Hey... baby I got you..."

"Save it!" stated the woman as she was disgusted. "I heard the whole thing. This whole time, I thought you were actually sorry and that the flowers meant that you cared. You know what, you can keep the flowers. We're done."

The girl now left as it caused the man to have a heartbroken look on his face. He turned to look back at Isaac as he watched the whole interaction.

"Maybe next time, you should treat her like she's someone special. Best of luck, bud," said Isaac as he now left towards the car.

Isaac approached the vehicle as Twilight was on her phone. He then got into the driver's seat and closed the door.

"So, what were you doing?" asked the girl.

"Just doing what I normally do. Playing the hero," said Isaac as he turned the engine on.

The pair were now exiting from the parking lot as they made it onto the main road. Twilight now began to tell Isaac about her day as the boy listened to his fiancé while keeping an eye on the road. He then told Twilight about his past days on the road as he informed her that he had one upcoming duel before the pair would head to Canterlot as it would be the place where they would have their wedding. Twilight looked at her phone as she saw some pictures of her friends. She almost couldn't wait for the day as they would all be present to see the two finally tie the knot. Twilight then let out a sigh as she looked out of the window watching the view past her.

"What's the matter, Twily?" asked Isaac as he grabbed his fiancé's hand with his right as he kept on driving.

"I'm thinking about how things have changed. Compared to where we were a year ago, it's crazy to think that we've adjusted to our lives. And now... that we're about to officially get married. I can't believe it."

"I know what you mean," said Isaac as he was now thinking back to one of the many events the pair had in the past year.

(Flashback)

The pair had arrived at a restaurant. It was Isaac's day off as he decided to spend it with Twilight who took time from her schedule of meeting with Moondancer to build their business to spend it with the boy. They arrived at the place and sat at a table.

"Isn't it cute in here?" asked Twilight as she sat down.

"Yeah. It's really cute if we decorated our kitchen like this," stated Isaac with a smile as he sat down.

"I feel like I haven't seen a lot of you," said Twilight as at that moment, Isaac's phone went off.

The boy took out his phone as he was looking at the message he received as Twilight look at her fiancé with a rather perturbed look.

"Juniper keeps texting me," said Isaac as he put his phone away.

"Why?" asked Twilight.

"I don't know."

"I'm sure she can wait a few hours. No offense, but it's your day off," said Twilight now gaining a happy expression. Just then, Isaac's phone started to ring as it got the girl to be furious.

"Hello?" said Isaac as he answered his phone and began to talk as Twilight sat there listening with an angry look. "I'm actually in the middle of having lunch with Twilight."

Twilight heard a response from the phone.

"No, I mean, I can- I can do it if you need me to," said Isaac now getting up from the table and walking away. "No, your timing was actually perfect. Hold on a second," Isaac now exited out of the restaurant as he began to talk with his agent. All the while, Twilight saw this and had a rather unhappy look.

A few minutes passed, and Isaac was still outside on the phone. Twilight started to become even more upset as the food they ordered arrived. She thanked the waitress as she slowly began to eat her food while still watching her fiancé outside doing work on his day off. After about 10 minutes, Isaac had now returned.

"Sorry. Juniper needed me to do a caller," said Isaac as he now sat down and began to eat his food while Twilight had already finished her meal. The boy took one bite of his food when his phone rang again.

"Hello? Another one?" said Isaac as he didn't see Twilight slam her fists on the table.

"Seriously!" stated Twilight.

"I'm sorry. I have to take this," said Isaac as he was now on the phone. For Twilight, she put her hand under her chin as she felt like she was being disrespected by her fiancé.

"Why don't we just go get the check and go home?!" suggested Twilight with a hint of anger in her voice. She didn't even wait for Isaac as she got up from the table and began to walk out of the restaurant.

The pair were getting into the car as Isaac had a box with his food that he didn't eat. He then got into the driver's seat and they were now driving down the road. It was about several minutes into the drive as Isaac looked over to see Twilight staring out the window. He noticed the slight furious expression on her face as she had a straight face.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," said Twilight as she tried to be calm.

"You're not overly talkative," said the boy as he grabbed his girl's hand while looking at the road.

"Well, I tried to talk at lunch, but I kept getting interrupted," stated Twilight as Isaac had a calm look on his face. "All I wanted was just to have a couple of hours to ourselves, do something that we haven't done in a long time. Just even an hour, Isaac!" The boy briefly looked at the girl to see her anger before turning back to the road. "I guess I just wish I was dating a guy who I was dating from the beginning, not the Isaac I'm dating now."

"Do you wish you were dating the Isaac, who wasn't as successful as me?" countered the boy with his response to Twilight. "Is that what you- was that what you're asking?"

"I guess because that made it feel like you gave a shit about me!" said Twilight. "I'm just getting tired of you feeling that you can constantly sacrifice my feelings."

"Well, I have to do something- I have to do something in the same sense as when you have to go attend your meetings and business trips," said Isaac.

"Yeah. Well, you also have to make sure that your relationship is all right. For god's sakes, Isaac. We have plans to get married!" spoke the girl with a bit of volume. "You have me now, and it's like whatever. You don't have to try at all."

"Sometimes, things don't go off as planned," said Isaac.

"I feel like there's always an excuse," spoke Twilight.

The entire ride home was then in silence as Twilight looked out of the window to avoid having to see her fiancé. Isaac just sighed as he kept his focus on the road.

Sometime later, Isaac was on the road with Juniper as he was scheduled to perform. During that time, Twilight met up with Cadance as she wanted to speak with someone regarding her problem with Isaac. And speaking to someone who had experience whose significant partner was also a pro duelist, she was hoping to get some insight.

"So what's troubling you, Twilight?" asked Cadance as she sat down next to the girl on the couch.

"I wanted some help. It's just like Isaac has no time for me. The position he's in now, it's like being buddies and business partners. And Isaac, when we were first dating, life was a lot more simple for us," said Twilight trying to hold back the tears in her eyes.

"But aren't you proud of him? Wasn't his dream to be the top duelist?" asked Cadance as she grabbed the girl's hand. "No offense, Twilight. But I mean this with all my heart, but you're very needy. You're being mean to him."

"I am..." Twilight then stopped herself from shouting as she saw her former babysitter.

"Twilight, you would love it if you were in the same career path as Isaac. Being booked together, doing live duels as a team, as a couple. You would be in heaven." stated Cadance as Twilight put her head down as she listened to the girl. "I went through the same thing with your brother and still am. Doing appearances, being on the road and away from your family. Your man's busy, deal with it."

"Cadance?" said Twilight as she couldn't believe what she was hearing from a person she trusted the most in her life.

"Think of how much more you're stressing him out like he doesn't have enough stress on his plate. You're supposed to be his escape in life. There's the woman I love, and today was a hard day at work and now, she's gonna make me happy. Oh, wait, it's Twilight." said Cadance in a mocking tone as Twilight was slowly starting to see the point made by her sister-in-law

"I... kind of feel bad for Isaac," said Twilight as she touched the necklace she was wearing. "I've been holding a grudge against him."

A couple of days passed by as Twilight was in her home as she was in her and Isaac's bedroom. Spike was in the living room napping on the couch as Tigre was in their bedroom as the girl was trying to get the cat's attention.

"Come on, Tigre." The cat just meowed as she began to walk out of the room. "Oh great, now you're not giving me attention. Meanwhile, Spike's over there being lazy!" stated the girl with an upset tone. Safe to say, the girl just wanted some attention.

At that moment, the front door opened. In came Isaac as Tigre went to go greet her owner.

"Hey girl," said Isaac as he had his backpack over his shoulder with his luggage next to him.

He bent down to pet his cat as she purred loudly while feeling the boy's touch. Twilight heard the front door and saw Isaac as she took a deep breath. He then put his stuff by the front door as he made his way to their bedroom and laid down on his back. Twilight then entered the room and laid next to her fiancé as she talked to him.

"I'm so tired," said Isaac as he looked up to see Twilight's face just a few inches above.

"I bet," smiled the girl as she began to rub the boy's head while placing her other hand on his chest. "So... I talked to Cadance while you were gone."

"Did you now? What did you girls talk about?" asked Isaac as he had his left arm around Twilight as she was now rubbing his forehead.

"She kind of put some things into perspective for me. I had told her that we started dating, we got to see each other so much. And it's like the last couple of months, it feels like... I don't even exist in your world. But... you know that's the business and it's not gonna be forever." said Twilight as she now cusped Isaac's cheek and looked at him.

"So I want to apologize and say sorry."

"Oh, thank you," smiled Isaac as he stroked the girl's hair. They then shared a kiss that lasted for five seconds as they pulled apart. "I was trying to do better on my end too. I know sometimes I get so consumed because even though I'm really busy, I can't not make time for you." Isaac then moved his left hand to stroke Twilight's thigh as the pair kissed once more.

"I might be needy, but at least I can admit that I'm needy. And is that so bad?" asked Twilight.

"No," answered the boy.

"So, what do you want to do?"

"Just make me a sandwich, women," stated Isaac.

Twilight rolled her eyes at Isaac's comment while letting out a chuckle. "I will make you a sandwich, but not because you called me woman. It's because I was already gonna do that," said the girl as Isaac too let out a small laugh.

(End of Flashback)

"And now look at us, about to be married. Knowing that they'll be times when we won't be together. And that's alright. Cause at the end of the day, we love each other. And that will never change." said Twilight as she leaned in and kissed Isaac's cheek as the boy kept looking at the road.

It was days later as the pair was getting ready to leave. They were packing their stuff as they had to leave for the airport for them to go to where Isaac's duel was going to be held. Then after that, they would need to get on another flight which would take the pair to Canterlot where they would meet their friends and spend the last two days before their wedding took place. The pets had already been sent to their friends as they were packing the last bit of stuff they might want to bring on their honeymoon.

Moondancer told Twilight to not worry as she could handle things at the company while she enjoyed her honeymoon. Twilight's workers did send their best regards to their boss. Juniper had contacted Isaac as she was making sure to handle any business that might require him to do while he was on his honeymoon Also that after a full year, the entire world was now going to know who his fiancé was as he managed to keep it a secret from everybody.

While Twilight was putting the last bags in the car, Isaac was on his duel disk as he was contacting his friends in the Big 5.

"So guys, quick question. How did you all propose to your special someone?" asked Isaac.

"Winged it." said the five duelists in unison.

"Great, that makes me feel so much better," stated Isaac in a sarcastic tone.

"Relax, bud. You got nothing to worry about," said Jaden.

"We get it, you didn't have a ring with you when you first did the proposal during your graduation duel. But no need to worry, she knows you love her," said Yuya.

"I get it, but I want to at least give her a nice proposal."

"If you want advice, Isaac. Just do something she likes," stated Yusei.

"Do something that she enjoys. Something that you know will make her fall in love with you all over again," said Yuma.

"Yugi?"

"Not much needs to be said, Isaac. You got this. I mean you're the World Champion of Duel Monsters for over a year at this point."

"Yeah, but dueling is a bit more relaxing than actually proposing to the girl you want to spend the rest of your life with," stated Isaac.

"True that!" said all five in unison.

"Well, thanks, guys. This is will be the last time I talk to you all, until after my honeymoon. I promise I'll tell you the details when I get back."

"Take care, pal!" said all five duelists as the group call ended.

"Isaac!" shouted Twilight. "We need to go!"

"Coming, Twily!" said the boy. He then grabbed his backpack and put his deck into the deck box on his belt.

The pair now exited their house as they said goodbye to it until after they returned from their honeymoon. It wasn't long until the pair arrived at the airport and boarded their flight. Some of the people working noticed the pair as even Twilight had gained some popularity as her career for being a card designer. The boy and girl boarded their flight as they were now in the air. Twilight was getting a first-hand experience of how regularly Isaac did this.

After a few hours, the plane touched down on the runway. Juniper was already waiting for the pair as they met with her and took them to the hotel. All three of them settle in for the night. In the morning, the trio was now making their way towards the arena. While Isaac was in his private room, Twilight was in the VIP booth that she and Juniper were in to watch her fiancé.

At that moment, the door to the booth opened.

"Well, well. Guess I was right," said a voice.

"Aww, it's sweet to see him giving you all this attention. Makes me sick to my god damn stomach." said another voice.

"Hey, girls. Long time no see," said Twilight as she turned around to see it was none other than the Shadowbolts.

"Charmed as well, dear," stated Sunny Flare.

"Mind if we crash, dude?" asked Lemon Zest.

Juniper was about to protest when Twilight told her it was alright. The four remaining Shadowbolts now took a seat as they prepared to watch the duel about to begin. Like Isaac, they too had all gone pro and were some incredible duelists. So much so that they had battled the boy during his year-long reign as champ on many occasions. Each came close, but never beat him.

"By the way, congrats on your engagement," said Sugarcoat.

"Thanks," said Twilight as everybody began to settle in.

On the field down below were Isaac and Indigo Zap as the two were about to get their duel underway.

"Hope you weren't planning on being champion during your honeymoon, Isaac. Cause I'm here to take it from you," said Indigo Zap.

"We'll see about that. I only hope that I don't beat before my flight is ready," snickered Isaac.

He then reached into his deck box on his side as he pulled out his deck. Isaac spoke a few words before sliding it into his duel disk. It activated as it projected a gold card tray. Indigo did the same thing as she slid her deck into her small rectangle device on her arm projecting a card tray of dark blue energy materialized along the front.

"Ladies and gentleman, it's now time for our championship duel!" said the MC as the crowd roared.

"It's Isaac who has held that rank as World Champion for well over a year. He's taken all types of challenges and overcome many obstacles in his reign as the Prince. But can tonight be the night where his empire comes tumbling down? Can Indigo Zap be the one to end the slay the Prince? We're about to find out... right... NOW!"

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Isaac's Life Points: 8000-
Indigo Zap's Life Points: 8000-

"Let's duel!" shouted the boy and girl.

Turn 1: Isaac

"I'll start by discarding one card to summon my Apprentice Illusion Magician(2000/1700)!" said Isaac as in front of him appeared one of his teen magician girls as she twirled her staff as she took her position. "And since I summoned my Apprentice Illusion Magician, she allows me to add my Dark Magician to my hand!" His duel disk then ejected his card as he grabbed it.

"I end my turn with one card facedown."

Turn 2: Indigo Zap

"My draw!" said Indigo as she drew her card, "I play the spell card, Terraforming! I can now add one field spell from my deck to my hand. Time to set the stage for my victory lap. And we need an even bigger one for that. I play the field spell, F.A. Circuit Grand Prix!" A horizontal wave of energy shot out behind Indigo, leaving black asphalt on the ground behind it, steel-blue railings lining the edges. The wave turned and weaved up and down the walls of the stadium, tracing out a racing track along the edges of the field. The energy wave reached the start of the track behind Indigo and rippled out, creating a large circular pit zone around her.

"Always like her to start by getting the field to her liking," stated Sugarcoat.

"Given her deck, it's no surprise. Now the question is: Can your fiancé be able to handle what Indigo might throw at him?" asked Sunny Flare to Twilight.

"You forget, it's Isaac. And he doesn't go out without a fight," stated Twilight.

"Then he better be able to keep up with Zap. Cause if he wants to win, he's gotta outpace her and outspeed her in every turn of this duel," said Lemon Zest.

"Next, I'll summon F.A. Sonic Meister(0/1000)." A horizontal portal appeared on the road behind Indigo. With a roar of an engine, a gleaming silver, blue, and orange race car sped out, two large rocket engines blazing on either side of a large central rear wheel behind the driver. The race car turned and moved into position next to her, the engines dying down.

"My F.A. monsters have a print attack of zero, but once in play, they have attack power equal to their Level times three hundred." Indigo held up four fingers. "Sonic Meister is Level 4, so that works out to twelve hundred attack points." Sonic Meister's driver grinned inside his helmet and revved his engine. "Next, I'll throw a card face-down and end my turn." Indigo rolled her shoulders and slumped back. "Go for it."

Turn 3: Isaac

Indigo is already setting herself up for me to attack. With her field spell, she guarantees her monsters to gain two levels during battle. Sonic Meister is Level 4 now, but if I attack it'll be Level 6, and have 1800 attack points. Not to mention her monsters gain a permanent level each time an 'F.A.' spell/trap or effect is activated. So it'll be Level 7 and have 2100 attack points, meaning that my magician will lose.

"Hey, you gonna play something or have your inner monologue?!" shouted Indigo as she could see Isaac thinking to himself.

"Very well, I draw!" said Isaac as he began to make his move. "I'll play Magical Dimension, so by tributing my Apprentice Illusion Magician, I can call upon my most loyal companion, Dark Magician!" The boy's partner appeared as it came out of a portal and spun its staff as it took the field.

"Now the other effect of my Magical Dimension allows me to destroy one card on the field. So I choose your Sonic Meister!" stated Isaac as a magical beam took out the girl's monster. "With your monster gone, I attack you directly! Dark Magician!" shouted the boy.

"I knew you would take my monster out, so I reveal Quaking Mirror Force! So now your Dark Magician is switched into face-down defense position, and can't change modes!" stated Indigo.

"Nice move," said Isaac gritting his teeth.

"I ain't a dumbass, Isaac. I'm not throwing away this last shot before you take some time off," said the girl.

"I end my turn."

Turn 4: Indigo Zap

"My draw," Indigo drew with a flourish, looked at her card, and barked out a laugh. She swung her card onto her duel disk. "This card should look familiar, I activate U.A. Locker Room! It may be the counterpart to my deck, but this card counts as an 'F.A.' card. I target one 'F.A.' monster I control or in my graveyard and add it to my hand. So I'm bringing back my Sonic Meister!" said the girl as her duel disk ejected her card as she grabbed it.

"Then the second effect of my card activates. I can reveal any number of 'F.A' monsters in my hand and shuffle them back into my deck. Then I draw that same number of cards." Indigo's hand then showed off the monsters that she had. "I have two other monsters in my hand, so I'll return them to my deck." Indigo then took her two other monsters and placed them on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in. She then drew her cards as she saw them and smiled.

"I then resummon my Sonic Meister!" said the girl as her monster revved up its engines once more. "Now to kick it into overdrive! Sonic Meister run over his magician! And remember, my field spell gives my monster two levels during battle and my monster's effect gives it a permanent Level so now it's Level 7 and has 2100 attack points!"

"Even with all those levels, your monster still can't take down my magician!"

"That's why I play this, F.A. Downforce! So now I can give my Sonic Meister two more levels until the end of the turn. And that's another effect activated, so it gains a permanent Level. For those watching at home, let put it this way. My Sonic Meister is now Level 10 and it has 3000 attack points, so that means it takes out your Dark Magician!" shouted the girl. Sonic Meister revved up and sped off across the field, crashing through the guard rails of the pit stop. It drove into Dark Magician, the spellcaster splaying out across the front of the car, and after driving another second, it screeched to a sudden halt. Dark Magician flipped through the air and crashed into the wall of the stadium.

"I'm not done." Indigo's duel disk beeped and ejected a card, which she picked up. "Once per turn, when an F.A. monster destroys a monster in battle, I get to draw a card due to the effect of my field spell. Oh, and since that's an F.A. spell effect triggered, that's another level booster!"

"Oh no!" said Isaac as Indigo's monster now had 3300 attack points.

"Oh, I forgot one more thing. Since my Sonic Meister is level 7 or higher, it can make two attacks this turn! Here comes the second lap!" Sonic Meister then had its sights on the boy as it drove off into high speed and it collided with Isaac, who put his arms to cover and was tossed onto his back.
Isaac's Life Points: 4700-

"Looks like your soon-to-be husband can't keep up with Indigo," smiled Sour Sweet with a devious tone.

"Isaac may be down, but he's not out. Indigo is like Rainbow Dash, they always want to get in the first hit. And in a duel, it isn't about who can deal damage first. But rather who can dish it out more." countered Twilight as they all turned their attention back to the duel.

"I hope Twilight enjoys her honeymoon with her man, who's going to be a former World Champion," mocked Indigo.

"Whether I'm World Champ or not doesn't change the fact that Twilight loves me. And I love her," said Isaac as he got to one knee and looked up at the VIP booth. He saw his soon-to-be wife as she smiled.

"No wonder she fell in love with you. Even way back at the Friendship Games, you were all she talked about. At that point, you two should have just asked each other out." stated Indigo with some playfulness in her voice.

"You got any more moves left or you just gonna rattle off me and Twilight's entire years we've been together?" taunted Isaac.

"I end my turn, and so my Sonic Meister loses all of its extra Levels. But it's still Level 7." said the girl as her monster reduced back to 2100 attack points.

Turn 5: Isaac

"My turn, and I'll play my own field spell, Magician's Salvation!" said Isaac. "Now, my field spell allows me to set my Eternal Soul from my deck." The boy's duel disk then ejected his card as he placed it facedown on his field. "Then I'll summon my Berry Magician Girl(400/400)!" A tiny baby magician appeared as she sat down on Isaac's shoulder and she made a sucking sound on her pacifier.

"Isaac," said the baby as she wrapped her tiny arms around the boy's cheek and hugged him.

"Good to see you, Berry," said the boy as he tickled the baby's tummy. "So, who's the lucky girl today?"

"Mmm... Chocolate." said the baby as her older sister now appeared.

She gave her baby sister a hug and a kiss as she put her on the floor. She then looked to Isaac as she did the same.

"Enjoy it while you can, Chocolate. Cause I'm no longer gonna be a free man," stated the boy as the girl disappeared with a smile. "I select my Chocolate Magician Girl." Isaac's duel disk then ejected his chosen card and the boy added it to his hand.

"I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 6: Indigo

"That's all?! I want a fight, not you throwing cause you wanna get married already to Twilight," said Indigo.

"Then attack me," mocked Isaac.

"You asked for it, I draw!" said the girl as she looked at her card with a sly smile. "First, I switch my Sonic Meister to defense mode. Then I summon F.A. Whip Crosser(0/1000)!" A portal opened behind Indigo. An armored blue and yellow motorbike rode out of it, the driver clad in armor of the same color scheme. He popped a wheelie and drove up beside Indigo before letting the wheel down. "I then activate the effect of F.A. Downforce in my graveyard." The image of Indigo's card appeared above her and dissolved. "By banishing Downforce, I get its effect again, boosting my F.A. Sonic Meister two levels for this turn only. And since I activated the effect of an F.A. Spell card, they also get another permanent level gain." Indigo held her hands out to gesture to her two monsters. "That means Sonic Meister is Level 10 for this turn, and Whip Crosser is Level 5."

"Even so, she put Sonic Meister in defense mode. Why'd she do that?" asked Lemon Zest.

"You'll see," stated Juniper.

"I then activate the spell card F.A. Test Run." A computer console rose next to Sonic Meister, cables snaking out of the machinery and attaching to the car. "This card changes Sonic Meister back to attack mode, and then I get to destroy one card on the field. Not only that, but that's another level that both my monsters gain. So Sonic Meister is now Level 11 and Whip Crosser is Level 6! The card I destroy is your Berry Magician Girl!" The computer exploded and sent blasts of electricity in all directions taking out the boy's monster.

"Time for me to win, cause I still have to activate my field spell which gives all my F.A. monsters an extra 2 Levels during battle. So one more time for every keeping score at home, that means my Sonic Meister will be Level 13 and have 3900 attack points and Whip Crosser will be Level 8 for a total of 2400 attack points. So... you lose!" said Indigo giving the champ a thumbs down as Sonic Meister made the first move as it zoomed towards the boy.

"I reveal my facedown, Ricochet! With this, I can select a card on your side of the field and bounce it back to your hand. Then I can add one card from my deck to my hand. So I'm returning your Sonic Meister!" shouted the boy as a card shot out from his duel disk and collided with the monster as it turned into a white light and zoomed back to Indigo's hand. It then boomeranged back as Isaac grabbed it with one hand.

"Either way, you have no other facedowns to save you. So Whip Crosser goes in for the direct attack!" shouted Zap as her Whip Crosser zoomed forward, hopped over the guard rails, and aimed itself at Isaac.

"Ahh!" shouted the boy as he was thrown onto the ground once more.
Isaac's Life Points: 2300-

"Isaac?!" shouted Twilight as she got up from her seat to see her fiancé hit hard.

"Give up," taunted Zap.

"Kiss my ass," said Isaac as he did a kip-up and was back on his feet as the crowd cheered. Twilight let out a sigh of relief as she sat back down. The other Shadowbolts all had smiles on their faces at seeing how Twilight acted just now when Isaac was down.

"Either way, you have no monsters on your field, so I end my turn."

Turn 7: Isaac

"This duel is far from over."

"You're bluffing!" said Zap.

"Am I? Well, let's find out, I draw!" said Isaac as he drew his card as it had a light effect as the trail. "Exactly what I need, I Dark Magic Veil. So I pay 1000 life points so that I can summon my Dark Magician Girl from my hand!" said Isaac as he had his top female magician.
Isaac's Life Points: 1300-

"Jealous, Twilight?" said Sour Sweet as he directed that Isaac had his favorite magical girl on his field.

"No, why. Cause even if Isaac's own female cards have an affection for their master, they know that I'm the one he truly loves," said Twilight with a smile.

"In that case, if you really want his heart to beat fast, perhaps you should dress up as his Dark Magician Girl," said Sugarcoat with a sly smile as Twilight turned away with her face turning red.

"So? She's not strong enough to take out my Whip Crosser." taunted Indigo.

"Did you forget about my field spell?" countered Isaac with a smile.

"What?!"

"You see Indigo, my field spell does more than just set a card from my deck. Whenever I summon either Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl, if the other is in my graveyard, I can also summon them. So you helped me."

"Wait... you mean..."

"Now you're catching on. I bring back my Dark Magician!" shouted Isaac as his signature monster was back in play.

"Doesn't matter, cause my life points won't take much damage."

"Maybe so... that is... if I didn't play this. Dark Burning Magic!"

"Dark Burning Magic?!" shouted Indigo in fear.

"Mana, Mahad! Do it!" commanded Isaac as both magicians put their wands together as they created a huge ball of magical energy. They channeled their powers as they then shot the attack towards Indigo.

Her entire field was nuked as a huge explosion occurred. Everybody in the stands along with the girls in the VIP booth covered their eyes for a moment as the attack soon died down. A series of explosions along the asphalt, the track around the field cracked apart and dissolved into green and orange dust.

Indigo's duel disk beeped, and she tapped a prompt. "Since F.A. Circuit Grand Prix was destroyed by a card effect, I can use its effect to add an F.A. card from my deck to my hand. I'll take this, F.A. City Grand Prix!"

"Like it matters! Cause I'm attacking you directly! Go my magicians, Double Dark Magic Attack!" ordered Isaac as both of his monsters leaped into the air pointed their wands at the girl as they shot another powerful attack. Indigo covered up and was pushed back as her shoes skidded along the floor.
Indigo Zap's Life Points: 3500-

"Now we're about even." smiled Isaac as he looked at the girl who was dropped to a knee.

"Alright, Isaac," said Indigo as she wiped the scuff along her mouth as she was angry. "I was doing you a favor, sending you on your way out for some time off. Let me handle the burden of being the top duelist, but you don't want anybody else to be champion except for you. So consider me royally pissed off!" yelled Indigo at the top of her lungs.

"Then I guess my attempt was a success," mocked Isaac with a smile. "I place one card facedown then end my turn by playing Card of Sanctity so that we draw till we're holding six cards in our hand."

Turn 8: Indigo

"My draw! To start, I summon Sonic Meister! Then I play the field spell, F.A. City Grand Prix!" Indigo slipped her card on her duel disk with a grin. A wave of energy rippled out from around her. City streets with painted crosswalks and streetlights traced around them, transparent holograms of scenic buildings rising from the ground. When the field was complete, the streetlights simultaneously lit up green.

"This nifty spell gives all of my F.A. monsters a boost of two levels during both the Battle and Main Phases, and it prevents you from targeting them with effects. And since that's a spell activate, that means my Sonic Meister gains a level so it's Level 7," stated Indigo Zap. "Now that my Sonic Meister is Level 7, I can special summon this monster. Rise, F.A. Dark Dragster(0/2000))!" A car then appeared in a black color scheme as it had flames behind it.

"Like all my other monsters it gains 300 attack points times its level, but with my field spell it gives it two more levels and since that's a spell activated, my Dark Dragster gains a permanent level also. So it's Level 10 and has 3000 attack points!" informed Indigo Zap.

"So time to attack, meaning my two monsters gain two more Levels. Sonic Meister attack his Dark Magician Girl, and Dark Dragster will attack your Dark Magician!" shouted Indigo Zap. Her two monsters revved their engines as they took out the boy's monsters.

"I activate my Mirage Ruler trap card! Now since both of my monsters were destroyed this turn, I can bring them back, and my life points return to their original total," said Isaac as his two monsters rose.
Isaac's Life Points: 1300-

"Then I pay 1000 life points as the cost," informed the boy.
Isaac's Life Points: 300-

"So you survived, but it's doesn't matter. Cause next turn, I'm gonna end this duel. I place two cards facedown and end my turn."

Turn 9: Isaac

"My turn and I summon my Enchantress of Melody(900/1800)!" Isaac played his magician as a beautiful young girl with crimson-colored eyes, a determined and gentle look, and mid-length dark brown hair tied into two twin-tails to a ribbon that laid on her shoulders. She wore black robes and a cloak; she wielded a silver staff and kept a short sword sheathed around her waist. Underneath the cloak, she wore a low-cut blouse, ultra-short pink miniskirts, and wore burgundy boots that stopped before her knee caps. She also wore some leggings that stopped halfway to her thighs as she still showed off her fair smooth skin.

"I then activate her ability, so I can roll a die and then either increase or decrease a monster's level by that number." A die then appeared in Isaac's hand as he tossed it high into the air as it landed on a number. "I now decrease my Enchantress' level by one, and then I'll tune her with my Dark Magician! And when I use Dark Magician as Synchro Material, he counts as Level 6 instead of 7!" The girl then turned into two giant green rings that circled Dark Magician.

"I Synchro Summon, Dark Sorcerer Magician(2500/2100)!" Isaac now had his synchro monster as out came a spellcaster that had white hair and had garments that were dressed in an indigo/purple color scheme. It wielded a staff and was surrounded by bits of stardust and magical symbols.

"When I summon my monster, he can destroy one spell or trap card on the field. So say goodbye to your field spell!" said Isaac as his magician got rid of Indigo's stadium.

"By destroying my field spell, I can activate its effect to add an 'F.A.' card to my hand," stated the girl as her duel disk ejected the card she wanted.

"Either way, I attack your Sonic Meister!"

"Ain't gonna happen, I reveal Negate Attack to pump the brakes on your assault!" stated the girl.

"I see, then I end my turn."

Turn 10: Indigo

"My draw and I'll activate another F.A. Grand City Prix. So we're back to where we started!" said Indigo. "I now activate the effect of my F.A. Dark Dragster, by removing 3 Levels from it, I can destroy one card on the field, so say goodbye to your Dark Sorcerer Magician!" said Indigo Zap as her monster dropped down to Level 9 and took out Isaac's synchro monster.

"Now my monster's effect activates since I used Dark Magician to synchro summon, I can bring it back," said Isaac as his other magician rose in defense mode.

"Next, I'll activate the spell card, F.A. Pitstop. This decreases Dark Dragster's level by two, and then I can draw a card." As she drew, Indigo nodded towards Dark Dragster. "Although, since I just used another F.A. card, it goes up once more. That makes Dark Dragster Level 8." She took another card from her hand. "And now everything is set for this! I summon F.A. Auto Navigator(0/0) from my hand!" A small cylinder rolled out in front of Indigo and unfurled into a tablet computer. Its screen lit up, projecting the holographic image of a small woman in a pink dress with a parasol and bushy blue hair. Indigo looked down at the hologram.

"I tune my Level 1 Auto Navigator with my Level 8 Dark Dragster!" Auto Navigator glowed green and separated into one glowing ring. Dark Dragster hovered higher into the air and glowed orange as the rings came along it, energy crackling between them. Indigo tilted her head back to look up at them, a hand above her duel disk. "I align the avatar of speed and the turbocharged car of speed, and together they accelerate towards a titanic new form!" Her monster ejected from her duel disk and she seized it and placed it on the card tray. "I Synchro Summon! Roll out, F.A. Motorhome Transport(0/3000)!"

The ground shook and the race track behind Indigo cracked apart and lifted into the air, revealing the doors of a lift platform built into the ground. The platform rose into Isaac's view, carrying a massive white truck, orange and blue stripes painted along the sides. Retracted ramps were built into the sides, and vehicle maintenance bays were visible through the windows. The truck ground to a halt, the cab hissing, and two large mechanical claws lifted from the sides and clinked together. Everybody in the crowds, all looked up as they took in the sight of Indigo's latest monster

"First, as you might have guessed from its stats, F.A. Motorhome Transport has the same effect as my other F.A. racers, namely that his attack power is equal to its Level times three hundred. It's currently Level 9 and rises two more from my field spell. So now its level is 11, and its attack rises to 3300." Motorhome Transport revved its engine and glowed orange.

"Then I reveal my last facedown, F.A. Acceleration!" said Indigo. "By sending an 'F.A.' monster in my deck to the graveyard, I can synchro summon using it and another monster in my graveyard also. So I tune my Level 6 F.A. Turbo Charger with my Level 1 Auto Navigator! I bring out a new monster, my F.A. Dawn Dragster(0/2000)!" A ramp on Motorhome Transport lowered, and a white formula car wheeled out to the ground.

"My monster also has similar stats, with my field spell, it goes up to Level 9. Not to mention by me activating another F.A. spell, my Motorhome gains an extra Level making it Level 12!" stated Indigo. "And now to finish this duel, Motorhome lead the charge and take out his Dark Magician!" Indigo succeeded as she took out the boy's magician. "Then Dawn Dragster will take out your Dark Magician Girl!"

Isaac covered up as his other monster was destroyed. As only Sonic Meister remained as it revved up its engines looking to end the boy.

"Time's up, Prince. Sonic Meister, attack him directly and end this duel!" shouted Zap.

"I reveal my Eternal Soul. So I'm bringing back my Dark Magician!"

"Yeah, right! Cause I activate Dawn Dragster's special ability, whenever you activate an effect, by dropping its Level by 2, I can negate that effect and destroy it," stated Indigo as her racecar did some skid marks to get rid of Isaac's card.

"He's done," said Sugarcoat bluntly.

"It's not over," smiled Isaac. "Did you forget my other facedown? Go!" shouted the boy as it flipped up and shined with a bright light.

"What?!" shouted Zap.

"Since I have no monsters on my field, my Magician's Barrier allows me to avoid taking any damage this turn simply by paying half of my life points!" said Isaac. "Then it can destroy the monster that was attacking, so your Sonic Meister is now gone!"
Isaac's Life Points: 150-

"You were saying?" asked Twilight with a smug smile as Sugarcoat turned her head in shame. "One thing, never and I mean, ever, count out my man in a duel!" stated the girl as it got the others to back up a bit at Twilight's tone.

"As if it matters, you just made yourself weaker! Next turn, you're done!" said Indigo.

Turn 11: Isaac

"Then it's time I end this! I draw!" said Isaac. "To start, I play Monster Reborn to bring back my Dark Sorcerer Magician. Then I'm gonna play this, Magician Synchro Gate!"

"No you won't, cause I'm activating Dawn Dragster's ability, by reducing it by another 2 Levels, your spell is negated!"

"My Magician Synchro Gate can't be negated, so you just made your weaker for nothing!" smiled Isaac.

"Bullshit!" yelled the girl as she gritted her teeth.

"Now where was I, oh right! I play Magician Synchro Gate. Now I can synchro summon using monsters in my Extra Deck or graveyard and this card turns into a tuner monster." Isaac's Dark Magician then rose as his spell turned into two giant green rings that circled his monster. "And the one I choose is a scorcher, arise Solis Witch(3000/2700, Level 9, Scale 10)!"

The new monster was an adult female who had light blue hair and eyes, a slim figure with ample breasts, long legs, wide hips, and blue waist-long hair that is partially tied into a loop with a spherical clip. She wore a sleeveless dark-blue feather dress with white trimmings, an extremely short dark blue miniskirt, a green bow around her chest with a blue gem in the middle, a translucent purple underskirt, and detached white sleeves with blue and golden trimmings. She wore thigh-high blue heeled boots over white stockings with blue trimmings. Around her neck was a pendant as it was in the shape of a rune and used her magic to make an ax appear in her hand as it shined with relic symbols on it as elemental symbols appeared above her and infused her weapon.

"Now when my Solis Witch is summoned, I can negate the effects of all your special summoned monsters and drop their attack opponents to zero!" said Isaac as his female magician raised her ax as the elemental symbols powered up as she did a slash attack as it hit Indigo's two Synchro monsters.

"I'm still in this!"

"Not anymore!" countered Isaac. "Since I control a monster, I can special summon my Paladin Fortis(300/500)!" Out came a small paladin as he had shiny armor with a helmet on him as he wielded a sword by his side. "Now my paladin's effect allows me to revive a tuner monster in my graveyard, so I bring back my Enchantress of Melody. And then I'll use her special ability so now I can roll a die and either increase or decrease a monster's level." The die appeared in Isaac's hand as he looked at it, he closed his eyes and blew on it for good luck. He then tossed it high into the air as it began to spin through the air and tumbled around as Isaac was hoping to get what he wanted. Soon it stopped on a number to which Isaac smiled.

"Now I'll decrease my Enchantress' level by 2 so now she's Level 1," said Isaac as his magician lowered her level. "I tune my Level 1 Enchantress of Melody with my Level 1 Paladin Fortis!" Isaac's magician then transformed into one giant green ring as it circled Isaac's other small monster. "I Synchro Summon, the tuner synchro, Valor Valkyrie(1500/200)!" This time out came a valkyrie as she wore a red and black color scheme with a fleur-de-lis on each sleeve and pant leg. She raised her sword high as the pegasus she rose in on had a white coat and mane as it unfurled its wings and let out a fierce neigh.

"This is the end, Indigo. I have a wedding to attend and a honeymoon to spend with Twilight. So I'm giving everybody one last show before I'm gone for a while. I tune my Valor Valkyrie with my Dark Sorcerer Magician!" Isaac's Valor Valkyrie then flew high into the air on her pegasus as she turned into two giant green rings as they circled his magician. "Be transformed by the winds of destiny! Go Accel Synchro!" shouted Isaac.

The boy's monster emerged as it was a dark flier as the pegasus's coat and mane were black as riding it was the rider as she wore a set of blue armor that held her body close as her arms were exposed as she had some black, silver and blue flames on the cuffs of her outfit which also contained a cape as it fluttered in the wind as she let out a fierce cry as her hands lit up with magic.

"It's my Dark Flier Lysithea(3500/3000)!" stated the boy as he now had two powerful monsters on the field. Isaac then snapped his fingers as the entire lights in the stadium turned off creating a blanket of darkness. It then turned on as a single spotlight shined on the boy.

"Ladies and gentleman, you've been a wonderful audience tonight. I'm truly going to miss you all. But don't fret, I'll be back before you know it. So as a parting gift, let my two sorcerers shine some magic on this duel. Girls?" asked Isaac.

"Your wish is our command, Isaac." said his two female magicians planting a kiss on each of his cheeks as they tapped into their powers. "Thanks for a great final duel, Indigo. But I'm remaining World Champ. So Lysithea, Solis. Attack her monsters and end this duel!" The girls heard their master's command as they shot a dual magic attack as it hit Indigo's monsters as it transferred to the girl who covered up before being thrown onto her back.
Indigo's Life Points: 0-
Winner: Isaac

"Ladies and gentleman, your winner and still World Champion... the Prince... Isaac!" yelled the MC into the mic as the roar of the crowd soon followed.

The boy pointed his finger into the air as his eyes were shut. He then opened them as he smiled with fireworks going off. Twilight and the rest of the girls in the VIP booth, stood up and joined the applause.

"He's a keeper," said Sugarcoat.

"Enjoy your wedding and honeymoon, Twilight," said Sunny Flare.

"Thanks, girls."

Once the event ended, Isaac, Twilight, and Juniper immediately left for the airport. They all boarded their flight as they were now on their way to Canterlot. It didn't take long as they landed in the place that all three hadn't been in for quite a while. The trio then got into a car as they were now heading towards the place that housed Isaac and the girls during their senior year.

The pair grabbed their bags and approached the door with Juniper behind them. Isaac was about to knock on the door when it suddenly opened as streamers, and confetti shot in their faces.

"SURPRISE!" shouted Pinkie and the girls.

"Hey guys," said Isaac as Twilight immediately rushed in and gave the girls a giant group hug.

Juniper and Isaac brought the bags in as the girls were still holding their hug.

"So, who's ready for a wedding?!" shouted Pinkie at the top of her lungs as she couldn't wait for it to happen in a few days.
