Caleb
How do I stay away from Sara and Henry? Cruz's advice will not suffice. We're twenty laps away. Sara and Henry chase us and mess with us. The mocking and chasing annoy us. What am I going to do? I hate them with every bit including Leah.
Leah already makes me sick in the gut, but Sara and Henry take the cake. Sara and Henry will do anything to go personal. However Leah made me and Cruz look bad in her debut. She yelled at Cruz.
She yelled at the greatest racer ever. How could she? How could she do this? What a bummer. Do you care about winning, Leah, or do you care about yourself? Good thing this incident made me get away with it. You do not want to see me like this at all.
No racer should even dare see me or mess with me. If one racer wins instead of Cruz Ramirez, they'll get what they get, but Cruz and Dad kept getting me in trouble for this. Leah, oh that Leah Tran. She's already getting what she deserves, and she already got enough. As for Sara and Henry…they'll get the same thing.
Sara and Henry get at me again. They really want us out of the racetrack. It seems like Sara only cares about "real" asphalt racers instead of "those dirt track racers." Adelaide and I belong here. We just so happen to respect all racing.
"Hey, Dirt Skanks, you should get your dirty butt out of my fancy asphalt!" Sara says.
"Yeah, it's the law!" Henry interrupts.
"Wait, there was a law against it?" I asked, "I haven't heard about that!" I blow raspberries at Sara and Henry.
Adelaide also blows raspberries. We stay away from them, but they gain on us. They tell us more obnoxious things. These words will never help us beat them. It gets annoying and annoying. I feel like yelling at them. However, I can't.
I've always refrained myself from everything. Well, not everything. It's just that I have to refrain from being mean to everyone. It's not right to be awful to everyone. Well, that's what Cruz wants for being awful to two competitors. Hey, it's funny.
Never be a bad son. Keep your ground. That's what my parents say to me. I'm a failure if I fail to keep my ground. At least I'm normally this way. It's too bad Adelaide and Zachary can't. Their behaviors could get them in trouble.
Racing's unfair and competitive. We have to compete against other racers, and we have to hate every other racer. They're rivals, and they have no advantage against us. Adelaide and I are the McQueens. We can overcome anything including Sara and Henry.
"Caleb, you're not fighting back?! Or wait later?!" Sara yells at us, "You should be fighting back, Wussy!"
"Well you're a—" I say.
"What's that?!" Sara laughs.
"A rat on the inside!"
I speed away from her. I've had enough of those competitors. These competitors are crazy, and they should shut up. Why are Sara and Henry taking this at a harsher level? Why? I just can't take it!
I just can't take this! Is that how you're gonna play?! Huh?! At least karma from yours truly, me, can get you while I win. Those racers can get a taste of your own medicine while Adelaide and I live under the legacy's glory.
Sara and Henry can go find the spotlight somewhere else! They can't be messing with me and Adelaide like that! No one should mess with the McQueens, especially the kids of McQueen, Lightning McQueen.
Adelaide and I belong on this racetrack. We shouldn't leave this sight. We're the children of one of the greatest racers, Lightning McQueen. We have advantages over everyone else. Those racers probably can't race on dirt. They're the wusses.
"Caleb, what was that about?!" Cruz says.
"It's nothing," I laugh.
"Oh, alright."
"Don't worry about it, I got this."
"You think you can continue?"
"Yes."
Ten laps have passed, and Sara is no longer in my sight. Adelaide and I fall in top two. Leah passes more racers and makes third place. She passes Adelaide and makes it to the lead. Adelaide and I try to reach and gain back our lead.
Good thing Adelaide and I could focus on getting back our places. Sara and Henry are gone for good. We can win in the Charleston 500 in no time. Adelaide and I can win for our family and team, and we can win for the Wonderful Cruz Ramirez.
Sara and Henry are probably out of insults. They end up taking it on Leah. That's what she gets for all the selfish things she did. Leah's so selfish that she puts me and my crew chief down. Well, Cruz was still a racer, but that's still…
"Don't betray us like that!" Sara says to Leah.
"Yeah, don't betray us!" Henry interrupts them as usual.
"If you're gonna win, there's a good opportunity behind you!"
"What opportunity?" Leah says to Sara.
"It's those obnoxious kids!"
I follow along with Adelaide, but she's near Leah. The five of us land on the top five. Leah lands in first place while Adelaide stays stuck and ahead of me in second place, and I fall behind her. We gotta make it to first and second place.
We're McQueens, and we can be just as great as them. We're the kids of the Great Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera McQueen. We deserve so much. We're even carrying a legacy, not just any old legacy, the Hudson Hornet Legacy.
Adelaide and I gain back our rightful places. Uh oh, this isn't going pleasant. Top three don't feel safe. Sara's on us. Sara will do anything to get first place. Well, any competitor including us will do anything for that. However, Adelaide and I are better than the rest. We have everything.
"Hi, Dirt Girl! Hi, Wussy Boy! Top twos again?! You cheated!" Sara says.
"No, we didn't!" I say.
"Yes, you did! How are you winning when you're only used to the dirt?!"
She nearly shoves me. I probably got a dent. She approaches Leah, and Leah listens to her. This isn't going well. I bet Leah and Sara want to get at me. This might be a nightmare, or it might be worse.
Sara's worse, probably worse than Storm. That Sara Stephans will…Wait til you see this from me! I can make fun of you if you win! I can put you to shame in seconds! The same can go for Leah and Henry! Leah and Henry can get the same treatment as you!
Leah and Henry deserve something worse. Maybe, not worse, but…something bad. Racers messing with our reputation deserve nothing. I don't care if any racer insults me, but any racer usurping my family's greatness will get…punishment, especially the annoying racers like Sara and Henry.
Punishment as in the racers will get my punishment, a cheer dedicated to their win. Doesn't it always sound like a jingle every time? I already cheered for two racers, but I can add more racers to my list of racers usurping McQueens.
"We're so close, but you should watch out for those obnoxious children!" Sara says to Leah.
"Fine, and thanks, Sara," Leah says to her.
"No problem!"
Adelaide, Leah and I are near each other. Henry and Sara slow down and make the top tens. Leah glares at me, and she stares at Adelaide. I stay behind them, but I sneak right by them.
It's too bad they haven't noticed me. Did they? They must be focused on reaching the finish line. I'm focused on it too. Leah will always suck. She has no chance against me and Adelaide. She cannot stand…oh, wait.
Oh no, this can't be. Weren't you with Sara and Henry? Did you not forget about me and Adelaide? I bet I can cheer on you now. I couldn't on your debut, but I can do it now. What's the point? Here it goes…again. Why? Why, Leah? Why do you have to do this?
"It's you, that child!" Leah says.
"Hi, Jerk! Are you gonna disrespect me again?!" I tease.
"Why are you rude to me?! Things would be easier if you brats aren't around!"
No, no, no, no, no, not Leah again. I've already dealt with you millions of times. Do you want another one of my punishments? I'll go ahead. Don't you dare mess with us at all, or else…I can haunt you for life.
Adelaide and I pass Leah, and we're almost at the finish line. This could be the first time we can tie together as the kids of the great Lightning McQueen. We're small, but we're fierce. Could we be feared? I don't know, but I don't care if fans love us.
I'm almost about to win. I might tie with Adelaide. Hurray, victory. Adelaide and I are going to win, or will we? Leah slams me. Where's the ground?! Thud! Bang! Crash! Everything blacks out.
