I just split the first chapter and edited it :)

A few days later, Miles found himself standing in front of the 1-A door. He had arrived about fifteen minutes early and entered the room to find it empty, aside from a very tired black haired man who didn't seem to know what sleep was. Miles assumed he was the teacher when his spider-sense told him to keep his manners about him, so he gave a polite bow and headed to his seat. Miles opened his laptop as he put it on his desk, putting Peters "boogie" into the USB receiver in his laptop, opening tons of files on DocOct, Kingpin, and his dimensional-interference machine. Miles couldn't help but let a grimace cross his face as he got to work, but quickly hid it, hoping the man didn't look up from his work and notice.

Shota Aizawa looked up from the new first-year student files and watched as Morales plugged in a harddrive in his computer. The veteran hero saw a grimace make itself apparent on the boy's face, quickly hiding it. Red flags immediately screamed at Shota in his head as his eyes narrowed. Aizawa had a gut feeling that whatever was on that harddrive was more than it seemed, and possibly dangerous. It could be paranoia, but the veteran was no stranger to cases where children were used to keep a villain operation running smoothly. Coincidentally, Shota found himself holding Morales's student file and it felt surprisingly light. Shota opened it to find very little information, only telling him that his entire family was dead, what his quirk was and how it worked, and that he used to live in Queens, New York and now works and lives at a tavern run by Mr. Shima. The report even said that all close family friends were dead as well. The only person that seemed to have any sort of official jurisdiction over the boy, as of now, seemed to be his boss, Mr. Shima. Sure, Aizawa and the other staff members had their own authority over the children, but that was minimal. Aizawa stood up and headed toward the door when he was finished, turning his head to Morales as he did so. "I'm going now. By the time I get back, it'll be time for class. Don't destroy the classroom."

"Yes sir." Morales replied after looking at him, turning back to his monitor. 'Not much of a talker, eh?' Aizawa thought to himself, then left the room, files in hand.

A few minutes after the teacher left, Miles noticed the door open once more to see a tall blue-haired boy enter the room. Miles hurriedly closed the lid of his laptop as the tall boy approached, quickly starting a conversation. Miles learned his peer's name was Tenya Iida and had attended an expensive private middle school, Miles returning the information with his own name and place of origin, Queens, New York. Miles answered as many questions as he could, but not all. When the topic of family came up, Miles's heart clenched even more than it already was. He politely listened to Iida's story, but grew uncomfortable when Iida asked about his own. "Ah-I-" Miles stuttered, then sighed and looked down. "Morales, is something wrong?" Iida asked with a confused and slightly concerned look on his face. "It's fine Iida, It's just…" Miles hesitated. "I have no family left…" Iidas face turned from one of confusion to that of shock. He then did a complete right-angle bow and spoke in a surprisingly loud voice. "My deepest condolences! As a fellow classmate and peer, I am ashamed of asking such a personal question! Please accept my apology!"

"It's okay Iida." Miles replied in a calm tone. "You didn't know. Your apology is accepted." Iida righted himself and spoke once more as if nothing had happened. "I am glad you understand. Class should be starting soon, so I'll head to my desk." Miles nodded and he did so. Though not a minute later, more people started filing in the room and Iida was quick to greet them. Once Kaminari entered, the blonde immediately headed for Miles. "Morales!" He said. "I'm glad you could make it!" The two clasped arms and started off in a conversation. A few minutes later, a fiery redhead approached and spoke up. "Yo! You two know each other?" He said. "The name's Eijiro Kirishima, nice to meetcha!" The redhead introduced himself and stuck out his hand. Miles shook it and they continued their conversation with the redhead now included.

A few minutes later, the other two dispersed to their desks, leaving Miles to himself. He looked around and quickly noticed the red-eyed ashen and the emerald grenette he had saved a while ago. They still had the web coils around their wrists and Miles's spider-sense tingled. He looked behind the greenette and made eye contact with their teacher, who appeared to be in a sleeping bag. Miles crooked an eyebrow at him and the man rolled his eyes and sighed, then gave Miles a small grin. Miles smiled back and went back to what he was doing. A moment later, the teacher was noticed once more by a brunette. He got out of his sleeping bag and introduced himself as their homeroom teacher; Shota Aizawa. The man gave them all P.E. uniforms and told them all to change and meet him at the field. Miles did so and brought his school-provided taser with him, which the school sent to him after the entrance exam in case of another glitch.

As the boys changed in the locker room, Miles was one of the last to take off his shirt. "Damn dude!" Kirishima borderline shouted. "You are jacked!" Now all the attention was on Miles and he was thankful for his dark skin hiding his embarrassed blush. "I've been working out a little more lately." Miles replied sheepishly, quickly putting on his P.E. top and finishing changing, then left for the field.

Aizawa was already there and soon everyone else who wasn't there came along. The green haired boy, Midoriya, broke his finger in the ball throw with his quirk and Bakugos exploded. Literally. Thankfully, Aizawa stopped them and trapped the blonde in his rather impressive scarf, sending Midoriya to Recovery Girl. 'Note to self: don't get on Aizawa's bad side.' Miles thought to himself. Miles' eyes were beginning to ache in the sunlight, so he raised a hand, shielding his eyes. This seemed to catch Aizawas attention and he spoke, drawing attention, once again, to Miles. "Morales. Something wrong?" The man asked with a crooked eyebrow. "No sir." Miles replied. "Spiders don't take to sunlight very well and I have a spider quirk. That's it."

"Very well. Aizawa said dismissively, then told everyone to meet in the classroom. A riot started once Aizawa revealed the threat of expulsion to be a 'rational deception' to bring the best out of them. Miles wasn't too surprised, given the man's attitude, but figured someone would have been expelled if a certain purple haired grape landed in last.

The boys headed back to the locker rooms and after a few minutes, a familiar warning bell went off in Miles' head. Miles instantly froze in place, grabbing his taser and turning the knob to its highest setting. Tokoyami, being his perceptive self, was the next to speak. "Morales. Are you okay?" He asked, quieting the room. Before he could respond though, the glitch hit Morales and he cried out, falling to a knee. He pressed the electrocutor under his collarbone and activated it, letting bright white electricity flow into his body. Everyone in the room could see the bright flashes of would-be deadly electricity emanating from the device and on his flesh. The glitching slowed, but only enough for him to grit out a few words: "This won't work for long… Kaminari…" The blonde didn't need any more instruction and walked briskly to his friend. As he charged up a large bolt, Iida attempted to hold him back, but Kaminari elbowed him in the stomach and released the bolt on Miles. It blinded those in the room for a moment, but when they recovered, they saw Morales on his fists, breathing heavily.

"The hell was that?!" Bakugo broke the silence by shouting.

"A glitch." Miles replied. "It's a drawback of my quirk. They are tortuous if I don't keep them in check." He explained as he got up.

Soon, it was only him, Kaminari and Bakugo in the room. "Alright Glitch Boy. What else?" Bakugo said, catching the other two's attention. "What do you mean?" Miles asked, though he already knew what Bakugo was going to ask. "Dont 'what do you mean' me!" Bakugo shouted and charged Miles, ramming the spider against his locker with his forearm. "There's something else about that glitch that you didn't tell the rest of the class. What is it!?"

"Bakugo!-" Kaminari was about to cut in, bit the ashensent an explosion his way, knocking him down. "Save it, Dunce Face!" Bakugo shouted and turned back to Miles with an expectant look in his face. "Alright, alright. I'll tell you, just let me go." Miles gave in. Bakugo let up and crossed his arms as Miles put on his shirt and spoke. "Every time I glitch, the atoms in my body slowly die and decay." Miles explained. Miles managed to fit in a summarized version of the story in the five minutes it took to get to class, telling them that he probably only had a year left before he really died, how he was from another dimension, that he was the spider vigilante that helped save Bakugo, and that he wasn't sure if he could go back home anymore now that he had spent a while in this dimension and made friends. They met with the rest of the class about halfway back to the classroom and Kaminari came up with a convincing cover story that included Bakugo giving his "I'm gonna beat your asses" speech and nearly throttling the two. Bakugo, quickly catching Kaminaris drift, gave a "tch" and sat down at his desk as they entered the classroom. Aizawa evaluated the day for them and answered a few questions, then dismissed everyone.

As Miles was packing his things, he saw Iida speaking with Aizawa in the hallway. As he left, Aizawa held him back. The two re-entered the room and the raven-haired man faced him with a look in his eyes that said "don't lie to me"

"You glitched again, didn't you?" He asked. Miles nodded. Aizawa sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Look, kid." He said. "Me and the rest of the staff are concerned. That is not a normal quirk drawback. None of us want to see any of you in pain more than you need to. That glitching looks excruciating, so if you need anything, tell us." Miles nodded again and was excused.

Shota Aizawa let Morales go and knew something was up. The boy, when you looked close enough, seemed like he hadn't slept properly in months. He clearly didn't have insomnia, it seemed like there was something nagging in the boy's mind that kept him up. On top of that, at the beginning of the school day, there was something on that harddrive that obviously bothered him. Could they be connected? Shota wrote down a few more notes on Morales and put it in his file, then took all of the files to the teachers lounge so he could write up his first-day report.

When Miles got back to the tavern and up to his room, he felt depressed. People here wanted to help him, but he wasn't sure how to accept. Miles didn't want to be pitied, which was bound to happen if he told the staff of U.A. his secret, but they were his best bet if he didn't want to slowly die and decay in this dimension. Miles changed into his pajamas and flopped into his bed, ready for another restless night.

For the next few hours, Miles looked through old photos of his home dimension, feeling homesick. He put down his phone and looked up to the ceiling, a thin line of tears running down the side of his face. There were so many reasons to go back, yet, he felt more at home here than anywhere else. Even if it was killing him. Like every other night, Miles got barely any sleep.

Over the next couple weeks, Shota kept an eye on Morales and he could tell even more that something was wrong. 'What's his deal?' Aizawa thought to himself as he watched the boy enter the room and open his laptop once again, twenty minutes before class. Every time Morales plugged that harddrive into his computer, his mood dampened in a way that was hard to miss. Aizawa decided that once the kids left for battle training with All-Might, he would take the harddrive and look at its content on his computer. The hero knew it was immoral, but it was for the sake and safety of his student. Those expressions didn't come from overdue homework or a weird email. Morales seemed to dread every second of looking at his monitor and what was on it and seemed somewhat relieved when the rest of the class came, glad for the excuse to stop what he was doing. Morales seemed to hang out with Kaminari and Bakugo the most, sometimes striking up conversations with Sero and Kirishima. When All-Might took the kids out for battle training, Shota swiped Morales' harddrive from his desk. When he opened the file, what he saw surprised him greatly. There were pages full of information on two villains: Kingpin and Doc Oct. Just by reading their reports, Shota could tell they were very powerful, and very real. Shota decided to copy the information and put it in one of his own files to show the rest of the staff. He then scrolled further down to see detailed blueprints for a "Dimensional Disruptor". Shotas eyes widened at every passing word he read, also coming across images that showed entire cities that were affected by the disruptor. They looked exactly like Morales' glitches. Pieces of the puzzle began to click together in the teacher's head. Was Miles exposed to the disruptor? Was it intentional, or forced? Shotas teeth grit at the thought of one of his students being experimented on.
