"I swear Eddy can be such a jerk with girls. Though Kevin isn't much better. Huh?" Alexis asks as is walking down the hall and hears crying coming from a closet and sees May inside sobbing into her hands.
"May?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Big Ed hates me!" May shouts sadly before Alexis hears the school bell before shaking her head and sitting next to May in an attempt to comfort her.
"Um... I'm sure it's nothing like that. Ed's just being shy. Um don't you think we should be getting to class?" Alexis asks as May continues to cry.
"I've got no valentine for Valentine's Day!" May says sadly.
"Well I know how you feel there." Alexis says as she chuckles slightly.
"You do?" May asks as Alexis pulls out a box of tissues from her backpack and wipes away May's tears.
"Yeah. I don't really have one either. I did have thoughts of asking Rolf but I found he didn't like me that way a month ago. I haven't had much interest in guys since. But I know what I'm saying when guys can be jerks." Alexis says as she smiles softly.
"You got that right." May says annoyedly before Alexis reaches into her bag.
"I know this might not be much but here. It's something I made this morning. I was gonna give it to someone I wanted as my Valentine so it doesn't have a name on it yet but it does now. Happy Valentine's Day May." Alexis says as she hands May a beautifully hand made light blue and pink card with golden accents after writing may's name on the front.
"You're giving this to me?" May asks as Alexis nods.
"Yeah. It's not much but it's better than nothing. Anyway I gotta go. I'm late for class." Alexis says as she smiles at May before leaving.
*Timeskip*
"Boy am I parched." Ed says walking with skeletons.
"Man are you gonna get in trouble!" Eddy says.
"Some of us are here to learn thank you!" Edd says.
"I agree." Alexis says annoyedly before May walks up to her.
"Hi Alexis." May says as she looks at Alexis with a loving look.
"Feeling better May?" Alexis asks as May doesn't say anything.
"Uh is she okay?" Edd asks as he and Alexis see May is floating and not touching the ground.
"No idea. She was pretty upset last we spoke. Well anyway it was nice talking to you May. I should get back to doing my lab assignment." Alexis says as she begins writing in her notebook.
"Can I be your partner?" May asks as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"My partner?" Alexis asks nervously before Ed and Eddy set off an explosion.
"Pink belly!" Ed shouts happily as he and Eddy are shirtless from the explosion before Edd goes over to them.
"Oh way to go numbskull! You ruined my shirt!" Eddy shouts angrily.
"Stupid! Don't you know never to mix ferric oxide with an aqueous suspension?" May asks annoyedly as Alexis looks at her in surprise.
"May? I've never seen that side of you. I didn't know you knew that stuff. That's pretty cool." Alexis says in surprise while smiling.
"I've developed a mean bathroom deodorizer too." May says proudly.
"That's kinda amazing." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Thanks." May says as she smiles.
*Timeskip*
Later as Alexis is at her locker with Edd the two soon notice a valentine sticking out of Alexis's locker.
"Who's that from Alexis?" Edd asks.
"Not sure." Alexis says as she takes the card and looks at it before smiling.
