"The movement is ready. They're not going to stop. Not unless we make them. It's time." Karli said.

"We have breaking news. There's a complete lockdown at the GRC meeting in Lower Manhattan where authorities are saying they're tracking multiple threats from groups seeking to stop the GRC's vote on global resettlement. There is a no-fly zone in effect…" a reporter on TV said. "And the NYPD has the area secured for the moment. Everyone is urged to stay clear." they said with sirens wailing.

There were in distinct conversations going on.

"I'm almost there." Sam said over the radio." Sam said over the radio.

"What's the plan?" Bucky asked.

"Karli's gotta be close. Keep your eyes open."

"Well, it could be anybody."

"Sergeant Barnes." an officer said shocking Bucky.

"And by the way, I called in some backup." Sam said.

"Excuse me, sir. Are you supposed to be here?" a man asked.

"It's me." Sharon said.

"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky asked.

"Relax. No one's looking for me here."

"Do I hear Sharon?" Sam asked.

"Unfortunately." Bucky said and Peter snickered.

"Hey, Sam. I thought I'd get the band back together." Sharon said.

"Thank you. You're risking a lot coming here." Sam said.

"I hear pardons aren't all they're cracked up to be anyway."

"Depends on the therapist." Bucky said.

"They'll move on the building soon. Be ready." Sam said whooshing.

"He's here. Do it now." Karli said hissing.

They were all clamoring.

"Keep your head down. Move toward the door, sir." a man said coughing.

They were all coughing and screaming.

A woman screamed then wings came whooshing and a man groaned.

"Sharon, Bucky, Peter, what's going on on your end?" Sam as.

"Nothing. All quiet. I'm sorry, wait. Who are you?" Bucky said.

"I'm Captain America."

"I thought he was on the Moon." Peter said.

"No one's moving toward the building." Sharon said.

"Karli's not coming in. She's trying to force everybody out."

"East evac teams…"

"It's a misdirect. We gotta keep everybody inside." he said and they grunted.

"You cost me a lot of money. I wonder how much I can get for your new bird costume." Georges said.

"A baguette and a few French fries."

"The robes don't make the monk." George said in French.

Captain America grunted.

"You guys are gonna have to do something." he said.
_

"Don't let 'em out of the building." Captain America said over the radio.

Then an alarm beeped.

"Oops." Sharon said.

"Here's one of them. I'll get the evac." Bucky said.

"Lennox, they're heading down the east stairwell." Karli said.

"This is an emergency evacuation. Please proceed to your transports. Groups one and two will leave from secure vehicles in the basement. Group three will leave via air support on the roof." the announcer said over speaker.

"Mr. Barnes, it's Karli."

"Karli?" Bucky said over the phone.

"Where is she?" Peter asked but Bucky raised his hand asking him to be quiet.

"Aren't you tired of fighting for the wrong side Mr. Barnes?" she asked and he scoffed." Karli said.

"I've done this before, kid. I know how it ends." Bucky said.

"It doesn't matter if I don't survive this. I'm fighting for something bigger than myself. With all the bodies you've collected, have you been able to say the same?"

"You don't think I ever fought for something bigger than myself? That's all I ever tried to do. And I failed twice."
_

Sirens were wailing and there was beeping going off.

They were both grunting.

Captain America groaned.
_

"You think your cause justifies all this death, but in the end, the nightmares won't go away. You're gonna remember all the ones you killed. Trust me. Don't do this. Don't go down this path." Bucky said.

"If that's how you feel, you should sit this one out." Karli said.

"Come on, you know I ain't gonna do that."

"Well, thank you. I'm glad you took my call. You've been a big help."

"Damn it!"

"Hostages en route. ETA, six minutes." Lennox said.

"Seriously, Bucky, Peter, you had one job." Sharon said.

"You worry about your guy." Bucky said.

Bucky's engine started whirring and tires screeched.

Peter was holding onto him as usual during the ride with webs on in case something happened.

"Oh, my… I'm so sorry. I didn't see you, I'm sorry." Sharon said.

"Hey!" a soldier said.
_

The engine started accelerating then muffled explosion, tires screeched and started hissing.

"Well, that's one down." Sharon said.

"How'd you manage that?" Captain America asked and grunted.

"Mercury vapor, amongst other things."
_

"Boarding now."

"You better speed things up Sam." she said and a helicopter was hovering. "The chopper's about to take off."

"Bucky! Peter!" Captain America said.

"I don't fly, man. That's your thing." Bucky said holding Peter close.

"Same here!" Peter said. "I swing!"

The engine revved.

George grunted.

"Au revoir!" he said in French.

Then a glass shattered and wings started whooshing by.

"Moving to the rendezvous, about eight to ten minutes out." Captain America said while people started screaming.

Wings kept whooshing and people kept screaming.

Then Captain America grunted.

"Redwing, see if anyone in there has flight training." he said.

"Something was beeping while people kept screaming."

"Boss, Lennox ain't responding." Dovich said.

"We can still get out of here before…" Deedee said.

"No. Diego's in the air. The trucks are almost here. Worst case scenario… we kill the hostages." Karli said.

"We're supposed to use them to negotiate."

"To stop that vote. Either way, our message gets out to the world. It doesn't even matter if we die. The movement is strong enough to continue without us. Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. Hold tight. Move fast. One world. One world.

"One people."
_

A helicopter bladed whirling while an engine accelerated

Then there were blasts and beeping.

Pilot 1 and 2 screamed.

Then pilot grunted as the helicopter kept whirling.

There were clanks and thuds.

"Yeah, man!" a man said and the crowd cheered. "Whoo!"

There was in distinct chattering over the radio.

Tires were screeching and they were all exclaiming and clamoring.

Then the driver grunted and there were groans and screams.

Then an engine started accelerating.

Karli grunted.

"We need a diversion. Give him someone to rescue." she said.

"What do you mean?" Gigi asked.

"Light it up."

"Help! Help us! Help!" a man said.

"Get over here!" a woman said.

People were screaming, both the man and woman grunted and they all kept screaming.

"Hold on!" Peter said.
_

"Let's go, get moving!" Dovich said.

"Morgenthau! Let's finish this." Walker said.

"I didn't mean to kill your friend. I don't wanna hurt people that don't matter." Karli said.

"You don't think Lemar's life mattered?"

"Not to my fight. I just want the people on that truck." she said and he screamed.

Then he grunted and clanked.

They both started grunting.
_

Everyone was grunting.

"Be careful. I've got you." the man said.

"Go. Go!" Peter said.

"Thank you for saving us."

"You're welcome."
_

Dovich was grunting and screamed.

Karli was grunting to while he screamed.

Then a gun fired and they all screamed.
_

Captain America's phone vibrated.

"A little birdie told me you know how to fly a helicopter." Captain America said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" he said and screamed then grunted and groaned. "Whoa! Boy, you just earned this ass-whoopin'. Okay. What we're gonna do requires perfect timing. We're gonna count down from five. When we get to one, you're gonna grab the control. Okay?"

"Five… Four… Three… Two…" Ayla said and Captain America grunted.

Then something was beeping and they all screamed.

Captain America grunted and screamed.

"Nice work, Ayla." he said panting then grunted.

They both kept grunting then heard a clank.

A woman was groaning and grunted.

"Help! Help!" she said.

"Somebody help!" a man said and they grunted.

Then there were clanks.

Karli groaned and grunted.

People were clamoring while she did.

Then they all screamed.

There was creaking and clanking.

They were panting and breathing heavily.

They were all grunting, screaming and groaniong.

Then they heard creaking.

"No!" a woman said and they all screamed.

There was more creaking, grunts and they kept grunting.

The they were all cheering.

"Hell, yeah! That's the Black Falcon there. I tell you." someone said.

"Nah, that's Captain America." someone else said.

Karli grunted and heard clanking.

"You of all people bought into that bullshit?" she said.

"I'm trying something different. Maybe you should do the same." Captain America said.

Then there was an explosion and a gunfire and people started screaming.

"This way." Captain America said.
_

"Hey, Sharon. We're underground. We entered the tunnel on William. Heading south." Bucky said.

"Looks like they split up. Here." Captain America said.

"I got it." Peter said.

People were whistling.

"Dovich? Dovich, is that you?" Peter asked.
_

"Drop your weapon, Karli. I said drop it." Sharon said.

"I'm disappointed in you." Karli said.

"That's what I was gonna say. You know, when you came to Madripoor, you reminded me of a young me. I took you in, gave you an opportunity, and you betrayed me."

"Because you wanted to control a world that hurt you. But I wanted to change it. I'm not interested in power or an empire. I have bigger dreams."

"What, like this? Come back and work for me again. All of you. We can make a difference together."

"You just want me because you need your muscle back. Without us Super Soldiers, how much power does the Power Broker really have?"

"More than you."

"So, you're the Power Broker." George said.

"You hired Batroc to spy on me." Karli said.

"Karli, you know I'm always prepared." Sharon said.

"Get outta my way."

"I'm done with these games." George said. "Now Power Broker… you will pay me… four times what you said you would." he said in french. "Four times. Or…" he said in english. "I'll tell the whole world who you are." he said in french. "Okay?" he said in english.

"I don't do blackmail." Sharon said then gasped.

"Sam, stay back." Karli said.

"So, what's next, huh? You kill ten this time, then, what, a hundred? Where does it end? Please, let me help you." Captain America said.

"Don't try and manipulate me."

"Karli, don't!" Sharon said and they both grunted.

"I'm not gonna fight you! Karli…" Captain America said.

"Stay down!" Karli said.

"No."
_

"Mercy bears richer fruit than strict justice." Walker said.

"It's a great app." Bucky said.

Then there was in distinct chatter.

"Thank you." an officer said.

"Lincoln, really?" Peter said.

"Great man. Great quote."

"Not when you say it." Bucky said.
_

Karli and Captain America grunted.

"Fight back!" Karli said.

"Stop it!" Captain America said.

"Fight me! Fight back!" she said and guns started firing and she exhaled. "I'm sorry." she whispered and cried.

Sharon sighed in relief.
_

There was in distinct chatter over the radio.

"What happened to the Flag Smashers? When did the government make you Captain America?" Reporter 1 asked.

"Is it still Falcon?

"Or is it Captain Falcon?" Reporter 2 asked.

"Sam, thank you so much, from all of us." Ayla said.

"Sincerely. You did your part in dealing with those terrorists, now we'll do ours." Senator said.

"Are you still going forward with resetting the borders?" Captain America asked.

"Our peacekeeping troops will begin relocating people soon. The terrorists only set us back a bit." Lacont said.

"You have to stop calling them terrorists."

"What else would we call them?" Senator asked.

"Your peacekeeping troops carrying weapons are forcing millions of people into settlements around the world, right? What do you think those people are gonna call you?"

"These labels, "terrorists," "refugee," "thug," they're often used to get around the question, why?"

"Those settlements that happened five years ago, do you think it is fair for governments to have to support them?" Lacont asked.

"Yes." Captain America said.

"And the people who reappeared only to find someone else living in their family home, they just end up homeless? Look, I get it. But you have no idea how complicated this situation is." Senator said.

"You know what? You're right. And that's a good thing. We finally have a common struggle now. Think about that. For once, all the people who've been begging, and I mean, literally begging for you to feel how hard any given day is… Now you know. How did it feel to be helpless? Now if you could remember what it was like to be helpless and face a force so powerful it could erase half the planet, you would know that you're about to have the exact same impact. This isn't about easy decisions, Senator."

"You don't understand." Senator said and Captain America scoffed.

"I'm a Black man carrying the stars and stripes. What don't I understand? Every time I pick this thing up, I know there are millions of people who are gonna hate me for it. Even now, here… I feel it. The stares, the judgment. And there's nothin' I can do to change it. Yet, I'm still here. No super serum, no blond hair, or blue eyes. The only power I have is that I believe we can do better. We can't demand that people step up if we don't meet them halfway. Look, you control the banks. Shit, you can move borders! You can knock down a forest with an email, you can feed a million people with a phone call. But the question is, who's in the room when you make those decisions? Hmm? Is it the people you're gonna impact? Or is it just more people like you? I mean, this girl died trying to stop you, and no one has stopped for one second to ask why. You've gotta do better, Senator. You've gotta step up. Because if you don't, the next Karli will. And you don't wanna see 2.0. People believed in her cause so much that they helped her defy the strongest governments in the world. Why do you think that is? Look, you people have just as much power as an insane god or a misguided teenager. The question you have to ask yourself is, "How are you going to use it?"

"Sorry, I was, uh, I was texting and so, all I heard was, um, "a Black guy in stars and stripes."" Bucky said and they chuckled. "Nice job, Cap."

"Thanks." Captain America said. "Sharon?"

"Blocking my light." Sharon said.

"We gotta get you to a hospital."

"She's not gonna listen." Bucky said.

"It's not the worst thing that's happened to me all week." Sharon said panting.

"Told you."

"Uh, Cap?" a man said.

"I think he's talking to you. Look, I'm sorry for how things ended down there. For what it's worth, suit looks good on you." Sharon said breathing heavily and Captain America chuckled.

"Thanks." he said.

"All right, look, can we get out of here, please?" Peter asked while Sharon breathed heavily.

"I didn't forget my promise. What's up?"

"So, we got eyes on the last Flag Smasher that fell into the Hudson. He's hurt but not down. Can you help?" an officer said.

"Confirming that prisoners have cleared final processing. We are transporting them to the Raft." the officer said.
_

"One world. One people." he whispered.

Then there was an explosion and in distinct shouting while sirens started approaching.

(INDISTINCT SHOUTING)

(SIRENS APPROACHING)
_

The Raft Maximum Security Prison.

REPORTER: Four members of the radical group, the Flag Smashers, were killed today in a car bomb attack as they were being transferred to a high-security prison. There are no suspects in the bombing. The group had opposed the global relocation efforts of the GRC, who, just this week, had announced changes in their overall policies of repatriation and resettlement." a reporter said.

Then a phone beeped.

"Oh! Ooh. Hey, Walker, check your phone. Looks like our friend, Zemo, kinda got the last laugh, right? Wow. Couldn't have worked better if I planned it myself. Oh. Well, maybe I did. No, I'm kidding, I didn't. Or did I? Anyway, it's gonna save people a lot of paperwork and a lot of redacting and a lot of shredding." Valentina said then exhaled and cleard her throat. "What is he doing in there?"

"It's probably the helmet." Olivia said.

"Walker! My God! Let's go!" Walker said and the door opened.

"Now, this is more like it." Valentina said.

"It's the same, but black." he said. "Yeah, well…" he said. "Yeah."

"Things are about to get weird. So, when they do, we're not gonna need a Captain America. We're gonna need a U.S. Agent."

"That's great."

"Keep your phone on."

"Will do, Val."

"Don't call me that."

"Copy. Thank you."

"U.S. Agent." Olivia said and laughed.

"I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! I'm back!" he said and chuckled.
_

Bucky was knocking on a door.

He had asked Peter to stay home.

"Hey, what are you doing here? It's late, come in before someone call the cops." Yori said. "What are you doing here? It's not Wednesday."

"I, uh, I have to tell you something. About your son. He was murdered." Bucky said.

"What?"

"By the Winter Soldier." he said. "And that was me." he said in a shaky voice.

"Why?"

"I didn't have a choice." he said and inhaled.
_

There was a knock on the door.

"What you want, Black Falcon?" Isaiah asked.

"Hey, you need to learn some manners." Sam said.

"He ain't a Falcon anymore, but he's still Black. I saw what you did out there. And it seems, so did everyone else. I heard the GRC was standing down on those plans of theirs, so you must have done somethin' right. I ain't gonna lie. You're special."

"Thank you."

"I mean, you ain't no Malcolm, Martin, Mandela, but…"

"No argument there. But I know what I've gotta do."

"So, a Black Captain America, huh?"

"Damn right." Sam said and Isaiah chuckled.

"The fight you taking on ain't gonna be easy, Sam."

"Yeah, I might fail. Shit, I might die. But… We built this country. Bled for it. I'm not gonna let anybody tell me I can't fight for it. Not after what everybody before me went through. Including you.

"Shit. I almost bought that. Isaiah said in a shaking voice.

"Man, do you ever lighten up?"

"Nope." Isaiah said. "Mm-mmm." he said and Sam chuckled.

"Hey, why don't you clean up? There's, um… Somethin' I wanna show you.

"So, uh, where we going?"

"Now, they'll never forget what you did for this country. Never."

"Oh! There he is!" someone said.

"Where is everybody?" someone asked.

"On behalf of the United States Intelligence Community, I'd like to offer you and your family our sincerest apologies. The Carter name has always been synonymous with service and trust. Today, we begin to set things right. We begin to repay some of the debt that is owed to you." Senator said.

"Thank you, Senator. I've been waiting to hear those words for a long time." Sharon said.

"And we'd like to offer you a full pardon. There may be an opening in your old division. Is that something you'd be interested in?"

"It would be my honor."

"Welcome home, Agent Carter." he said and people started clapping.

"Start lining up our buyers. Super Soldiers might be off the menu, but we're about to have full access to government secrets, prototype weapons, you name it. Should be something for everyone."

Later Peter and Bucky were at home and Bucky was holding Peter.

"I don't think I'm ready to leave Wakanda yet dad." Peter said shaking his head.

"Why?" Bucky asked.

"When we were Winter Soldier and Winter Spider I started losing control. I can't risk Spider-Man to become Winter Spider again." Peter said shaking his head.

"OK." Bucky said gently.

He didn't want to but knew Peter didn't want to risk it.

Then he picked up his phone and called holding Peter close.

"Hello?" T'Challa said.

"Hey it's Bucky. Um, we, we need to come back." Bucky said.

"Why? Ayo said you were free."

"I'm free. But Peter," Bucky said and sighed. "still has trouble."

"Alright. We'll be there soon." T'Challa said and hung up.

Then Bucky hung up and looked at Peter.

"They're coming bud. It'll be fine." he said gently and kissed Peter's head.
Peter nodded and sighed.

Two hours later Ayo was looking at Peter.

"Longing… Rusted… Seventeen…"Ayo said in Russian and Peter shut his eyes tight but felt it. "Daybreak… Furnace…" she said and he trembled a little. "Nine… Benign…"

"STOP IT!" Peter yelled.

"Homecoming… One… Freight Car…"

While they did that Bucky saw the accident that happened eight years ago.

In Bucky and Peter's pod.

"What the hell is this?" Bucky asked.

"Why don't we discuss your home? Not Romania. Certainly not Brooklyn and Queens, no. I mean, your real home." Helmut said and removed his glasses then walked towards Bucky and Peter reading from the red book by torchlight. "Longing." he said and Bucky and Peter shut their eyes.

"No." Bucky said and his head snapped back.

"Rusted."

"Stop." Peter said.

"Seventeen." Helmut said as Bucky's metal arm trembled in its restraint.

"Stop." he said and sneered angrily.

"Daybreak." Helmut said and they screamed, Bucky clenched his fist and ripped free of his restraints then Peter did the same with his strength. "Furnace." "Nine." he said and they thumped the inside of the pod. "Benign." he said and Peter punched harder. "Homecoming." he said. "One." "Freight car." he said and Bucky battered the front of the pod with his metal fist and the glass screen flew clear.

Then Helmut slowly rounds the pod with the book and the torch in hand. Then he stood before Bucky and Peter who straightened, a dark frown on his face.

"Soldiers?" Helmut said.

"Ready to comply." they said.

"Mission report. December 16, 1991."

Suddenly he came back and heard something he preyed he wouldn't.

"Ready to comply." Peter said.

"Peter." Bucky said with tears wanting to come down.

Then Peter glared at him and tried to get control of himself.

"He's not ready." Ayo said shaking her head when Peter came back. "He still has a bit left." she said and Peter started to cry.

"I knew it!" Peter said and cried while Bucky held him close.

"It's gonna be OK buddy." Bucky said gently and kissed his forehead.

"He needs more help." Ayo said and he nodded.

Later they were back at Wakanda medical facility.

"You sure you wanna do this again?" Bucky asked.

"I don't want anything to happen. I created Spider-Man to protect people and I almost killed some. I don't trust myself yet." Peter said shaking his head.

Bucky sighed but nodded and gave him a hug.

'This must be how Steve felt when I stayed here.' he thought.

"Don't take that long." he said, kissed his head and Peter nodded.

"I'll try." Peter said and went back into cryo.

Bucky stood staring through a window thinking about the last time this happened and T'Challa walked towards him like last time.

"Thanks for doing this again." Bucky said.

"We weren't sure if White Cub was entirely ready to leave. Being 16 and not much of a childhood we could tell there was a bit in him." T'Challa said and Bucky sighed.

"I know. I just wish he was back to his old self like me."

"He will in time." T'Challa said and left.

Bucky stood there quietly thinking with tears going down wondering how long this was going to take.

Andddd done! With the script I found it was beyond hard. But I did it!
