["Attention all passengers, we'll be arriving to Roanapur in about 30 minutes. Until then, please remain seated. Thank you!"]

The stewardess announced through the plane's speaker. Although she should've ended that announcement with, 'and good luck in staying alive!'

The reason being that this plane was headed straight towards Roanapur, Thailand: The most dangerous city on the face of this deranged planet

Now, you may be asking yourself as to why would anyone book a flight to the most dangerous city that has ever existed?

Obviously, it wouldn't be for a well-earned vacation since no one would ever do such a thing. Although it would make for a very cruel punishment for some inmates of Death Row

But there is another (much more unfortunate) reason as to why someone would book a flight to Roanapur

And that was taking an alternative flight to reach a person's desired destination. And that desired destination for one American foreigner was Tokyo, Japan.

This American foreigner who wanted to reach Japan was a young man that looked to be around his early 20s. He had ginger colored hair that was parted to the side, with brown eyes that would've made him look attractive IF they weren't filled with pent up intensity.

His attire consisted of a maroon leather jacket, a black long-sleeved undershirt, black jeans, and dark brown leather boots

He leaned his head back on his seat, letting out a sigh as he didn't want to go to the city that was the equivalent of signing his own funeral

But he had to since Tokyo's airlines closed down thanks to a nutjob threatening that he has installed a bomb in one of the planes

And he didn't want to go anywhere else in the world that wasn't Tokyo because a Japanese friend of his had papers that would make him an official citizen of Japan, along with establishing his new identity

"All thanks to the damn Russia mafia and the bloodlust of my older brother"

"You got that right"

Suddenly a loud crack of lightning instantly darkened the inside of the plane, a single yellow light being the only light for the American foreigner

Although, he knew that the darkness surrounding him wasn't the only change...

The young man turned his head to his right because he knew 'someone' was there. And that someone was a man that wore a white and red rooster mask over his head, although he wasn't sure if he could call it that since the mouth and eyes had the ability to move

Like it was some sort of anthropomorphic creature

The rooster man's attire consisted of a brown varsity jacket with tan sleeves, a turquoise undershirt, jeans of similar color, and white sneakers. Even though the attire was hardly it's most eye catching feature

"What do you want with me now, Richard?" The American foreigner asked annoyingly to the rooster man now named Richard

Richard chuckled darkly "I'm pretty sure you don't need to ask as to why I am here"

The ginger haired man sighed in defeat "What cryptic message do you have for me now?"

The rooster man sent him a small grin from its beak "If that's how you wanna go, then who I am to complain? Alright then, here's the message for today: You're stay in the City of the Dead will be far more longer than you'd expect"

"That doesn't surprise me"

"No doubt, but the cause won't come from the city itself"

The ginger haired man stared at Richard with a confused expression "What do you mean that it won't come from the city?"

"Well a single group of individuals will be the cause of your extended stay"

The American foreigner was further confused by his message. Would a group of human traffickers be the cause of that extend? Or a group of assassins using him as bait for their target?

Before he could ask for further emphasis, another loud crack of lightning revered the plane back to it's normal state

The ginger haired man grit his teeth as he noticed the change of the environment "Bastard."

He scoffed as he turned his head to the window, the city of Roanapur slowly zooming into his sights "Always leaving me in the dark for what's gonna come next"
