"Giga Destroyer!" A compartment on MetalGreymon's chest opens up and two organic missiles are released. The attack headed straight towards Etemon.
"No!" There was a huge explosion which then turned into a black hole.
"You must not defeat me. I'm just too important to die." Those were Etemon's last words as he was sucked inside the black hole. Tai followed suit before MetalGreymon stopped it with his gigantic claw.
"Don't let me go MetalGreymon!" Tai shouted as the two were sucked into the black hole which then promptly disappeared.
"Tai!" The rest of the group exclaimed in shock.
"What happened to them?" T.K. asked the others.
"Come back!" Sora shouted.
It faded to white, and then there were nice clear blue skies.
"Oh..."
"Where am I?" Tai asked himself as people walked by him.
"Who are all these people?" Koromon questioned. Tai then figured out where they were.
"Koromon! I-I'm home." Tai said.
"What happened?" Koromon asked.
"We must have been pulled through some dimensional opening between the Digital World and this one, wherever this one is. I bet that opening's the way I got to the Digital World, but where are we now? They look like human beings. This looks like Earth, but is it really?"
"I don't know. I've never been here before." Koromon said.
"This can't be. I think we're in my hometown." Tai said.
"Tai, I don't mean to cut the sightseeing short, but have you noticed I'm not MetalGreymon anymore? I'm back to Koromon." Koromon said.
Tai wasn't paying attention to a word Koromon said because he noticed something off about this world. Two boys were currently engaged in a battle with strange creatures.
"Magmortar, Flamethrower!" A young boy shouted.
"Magmo." Magmortar held his arm up as a stream of fire was released from it.
"Are those Digimon Koromon?" Tai asked.
"No, I've never seen creatures like this before." Koromon admitted.
"Glalie, dodge and use Shadow Ball." Glalie dodged the Flamethrower and fired a ball of dark purple energy from it's mouth.
"Flamethrower one more time." A stream of fire collided with the Shadow Ball forming a smoke cloud. When the smoke cleared Magmortar and Glalie had been knocked out.
"Return!" Magmortar and Glalie were recalled to their Poke Balls. The trainers walked towards each other.
"That was a great match." Both trainers congratulated each other.
"Hey! Would you two know where we are?" Tai asked.
"Seriously, you're in the Kanto Region."
"Kanto?" Tai asked, confused.
"Yeah. This is the home of Ash Ketchum, a legendary Pokemon trainer."
"Wait a minute. I've been transported to another world. This can't be real." Tai thought to himself.
"Hey. Is anybody home." One of the boys called out to Tai.
"Ah right, is there a chance for me to meet this Ash Ketchum?" The two boys proceeded to laugh at him.
"Seriously, you and that pink Pokemon don't stand a chance against any of his Pokemon."
"Hey! I'm not a pink thing!" Koromon yelled at the two boys.
"Whoa! It can talk!"
"Do you want to trade it." Tai proceeded to run away from the boys with Koromon in his arms. The pair hide in a bush and wait for the boys to pass before coming out.
"The coast is clear." Tai told Koromon. Then another trainer approached them.
"Hey, leave Koromon alone." The girl heard what Tai said and wasn't very happy. She pulled out a melon and hit him in the head.
"Cool it you creep. I heard you want to know where to find Ash Ketchum."
"Please forgive me. I'm desperate to find out where he lives." Tai apologized to the girl.
"Follow that road and you'll get to Pallet Town in no time." The girl pointed Tai in the direction he needed to go.
"Thanks." Tai replied and then took off down the road. They soon saw a house.
"Is this the right place Tai?" Koromon asked.
"I guess so." Tai responded.
A young woman was tending to a garden in front of the house.
"Excuse me ma'am!" He called out. The woman stopped what she was doing and looked at him. "Is this where Ash Ketchum lives."
"Yes, that's my son." She answered.
Tai then explained that he wanted to speak with Ash about something. The front door of the house then opened.
"It's okay mom. What do you want to talk about?" Ash asked.
"Are you Ash Ketchum?" Tai questioned.
"Yes I am. What's your name?" Ash nodded.
"I'm Tai Kamiya. It's going to sound crazy, but..."
"You're not from here." Ash remarked.
"Yeah, I'm not from Kanto. I just arrived here and..."
"No, you're not from my universe." He continued.
"How do you know that?"
"I witnessed you and your partner fall from the sky while I was walking through a crowd of people." Ash explained.
"No way. You know that I'm a Digimon." Koromon gasped.
"Digi-what?" Ash asked.
"Koromon is a Digimon. I heard you have some Pokemon." Ash nodded.
"Come over here Pikachu." He called out and a yellow mouse with a jagged tail climbed on his shoulder.
"Guys, this is Pikachu." Ash said.
"Pikachu, meet Tai and Koromon." He introduced Pikachu to them.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Hi there Pikachu." Koromon greeted.
"He's your strongest Pokemon." Tai started to laugh causing Pikachu to become angry.
"Pika chuu!" Pikachu shouted, releasing a thunderbolt that shocked Tai. He screamed in pain and his hair changed into a Afro.
"You shouldn't laugh at Pikachu." Ash pointed out.
Tai got to his feet and realized that Ash had invited him inside his house. He tried out some food his mother had made. Ash was surprised that he ate that food so quickly.
"I get the feeling he hasn't eaten anything for weeks or months." Ash said.
"Pika." Pikachu added.
When they finished eating, Ash decided to ask Tai a few questions.
"Alright Tai, I may have invited you to my house but you owe me a explanation. How did you arrive in my world and don't lie." He demanded. Tai could tell that Ash didn't completely trust him.
"Okay, I'm part of a group known as the Digidestined. Myself and six other kids were transported to the Digital World while at summer camp. I was transported to this world after defeating Etemon." He then displayed his Digivice.
"Sorry about interrogating you. I don't exactly trust people that have something to hide." Tai continued explaining.
"So your partner is from another dimension known as the Digital World?" Ash asked Tai, who was laying down on a couch.
"Yeah, and it's great to know about this world as well. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to rest on the couch for a little bit." Ash, Pikachu and Koromon sweat dropped.
"Unbelievable. Weather conditions across the globe have experts puzzled. There's still no rainfall in Johto and things are heating up due to drought." Meramon and Seadramon were spotted in the Hoenn region and Frigimon was in Sinnoh.
"What are they doing here? Could someone please tell me what's going on here? The Digimon are clearly on the TV screen, but the reporter hasn't mentioned them." Tai said.
"Because they're invisible to the naked eye." Ash informed Tai. He was surprised Ash could see the Digimon.
"Huh? Are you saying that you can see them Ash!" Tai exclaimed in shock.
"Yes I am. After my journey came to a end I started to have dreams about something happening in the near future. A voice spoke to me and said. "Ash, you must fulfill your destiny and save both worlds from evil." Then I noticed a device in my hand that seemed to be a Digivice that resembled yours, but it had the letter M on it. The voice then said I would be making new friends." After Ash explained, Tai heard his Digivice go off.
"My Digivice has activated by itself." Tai said.
"Pika pi." Pikachu said.
Then the computer screen turned on and Tai recognized the boy on the screen.
"Can you hear me? We - danger."
"Izzy?"
"They know it isn't - Tai wherever you are, don't come back here."
"I can't just leave you guys there, Izzy. I have to come back. I could be your only chance.
"Digital monsters - total chaos."
"Izzy! Izzy!"
"While we're in Ash's world, my friends are in trouble back in the Digital World." Tai looked at his Digivice.
"What now?"
"I don't know Koromon, I just don't know. Three worlds are in danger and there isn't anything I can do about it." Tai said as Ash and Pikachu walked over to him. Ash placed a hand on his shoulder causing Tai to look at him.
"Tai, we're going to find a way to get to the Digital World." Tai was surprised that Ash was willing to go to the Digital World with his Pokemon in tow.
"Ash, you can't! It'll be suicide to let you come with me and Koromon." Tai protested.
"Tai, Izzy's message is in my dreams as well. It's a warning about something happening to both our worlds. I was chosen to save three worlds and that's what I'm going to do." Tai had a smile on his face.
"Then let's do it Ash." Tai said.
"Count me in." Koromon added.
"Pika." Pikachu continued.
A sound was then heard outside. The group exited the house and saw a Digimon that had appeared out of nowhere.
"Oh no, Tyrannomon!"
"It seems you know everything about them." Ash said as Tyrannomon formed a fireball in it's mouth and shot it at a building.
"This is not good Tai!" He went to try and stop Tyrannomon while Ash prepared a Poke Ball with his head lowered.
"My mind is made up." Ash ran over to where Tai was. But when the two arrived at the spot, Tyrannomon had disappeared.
"We'll find a way to the Digital World together!" Tai shouted.
"Then let's go!" Ash yelled.
Drimogemon came out of nowhere and Ash and Tai follow him, but he also disappeared.
"No way! This must be a dream." Ash shot him a annoyed look.
"If this was a dream, people wouldn't be getting hurt." He remarked.
"Pika." Pikachu spotted a ogre-like Digimon wandering the streets.
"Ogremon!" Koromon exclaimed.
Tai saw him just stand there. Ogremon then noticed the four and went on the attack causing Tai to hold his Digivice out.
"Koromon digivolve to...Agumon!"
Ash was left speechless after witnessing a Digivolution for the first time. He failed to notice the dimensional rift in the sky.
"Hurry Agumon!" Tai yelled.
Ash was left with no other option but to release his Greninja from it's Poke Ball.
"Greninja, help out. You too Pikachu." Greninja and Pikachu rush over to aid Agumon in his battle with Ogremon. Ogremon wasn't going down easily, though.
"Looks like we need some more power." He and Greninja start to glow. Greninja's new form resembled Ash somewhat.
"How did he do that?" Tai asked.
"Ash-Greninja, Water Shuriken. Pikachu, Thunderbolt." The two attacks along with Agumon's Pepper Breath knocked Ogremon out cold.
"Ash, your Greninja is amazing!" Tai exclaimed.
Then a light that matched the one that transported Tai to the Digital World in his universe shined brightly. It landed on Ash's hand and changed into the Digivice Ash dreamed about. Tai was in disbelief.
"Ash, that's the Digivice you saw in your dream." Tai said. The two looked at each other and then up at the rift with a smile.
"Let's do this Tai." Ash encouraged.
"I don't know Ash. What if I fail them?"
"Nonsense Tai. Don't give up until it's over." Tai felt a lot better after hearing this. Then he and Ash headed towards the Digital World.
