The Slifer Reds followed Prof. Banner to the western side of the island towards their dorm.

A brunette-haired boy was among them. His name was Jaden Yuki and he had been placed in the Slifer Red Dorm after completing his entrance exam.

Looking around, he noticed a boy trailing behind everyone else in the group.

"Hey, why are you standing by yourself?" He asked the boy.

"Oh, I just don't want to bother anybody."

"I'm sure you won't. What's your name."

"It's Syrus Trues...uh, just Syrus is fine." The blue-haired boy mumbled.

"Well, just Syrus you can consider me your first friend." He held his hand out to Syrus for a handshake.

Syrus shook his hand.

The Reds then arrived to their dorm and weren't too happy with what they saw.

"Here's how it's going to work, boys are on the second floor and girls are on the first floor." Banner said, before adding. "Hurry up and get settled in so you don't miss the welcome dinner."

He gestured to a smaller building that was off to the side.

The Reds ran inside the building and found bowls of white rice on the tables.

"You're not seriously expecting us to-" The girl cut herself off after seeing Prof. Banner had disappeared.

Disappointed, everyone ate their lackluster meals. After they were finished, Banner returned to give them their assigned room numbers.

Jaden and Syrus shared a room. When they stepped inside, they found a large boy resembling a koala already inside.

"Oh, you are my new roommates. I'm Chumley Huffington, it's nice to meet you."

"I'm Jaden and this is Syrus. Where can we place our belongings?" Jaden asked, smiling.

Chumley looked around.

"Wherever you can find room." The room was small and cramped. It consisted of a triple bunk bed and desk taking most of the space.

Jaden and Syrus realized life at the Academy would be harder than they expected.

Bastion walked alongside the other Ra's to the southern part of the island.

On the way there, Bastion couldn't help but think about the entrance exam.

'What mistakes did I make? Obviously I did something wrong otherwise I would be in Obelisk Blue.'

Bastion's concentration was soon broken as the Ra Yellows arrived at their destination.

"Okay Ra's, this is where you will be staying." They looked past him and saw a two story building. Just like the red dorm, there was a smaller building nearby for dining purposes.

"Now we must hurry, the welcome dinner is about to start." Sartyr said with joy.

The dining room consisted of several long tables with varieties of food. Bastion had never seen most of this food before.

Everyone took their seats and picked out their favorite food from the table.

After finishing the food, Sartyr handed everyone their room keys.

Bastion walked into his room. It was impressive to say the least. The room was about the size of a standard bedroom with a bed, wardrobe, several shelves and a desk.

He then started putting his belongings away, thinking, 'I wonder if all the rooms are this nice.'

The blues followed Dr. Crowler to the east. Alexis was following her friends Mindy and Jasmine.

Mindy had black hair and brown eyes while Jasmine had red hair and grey eyes.

Mindy constantly had crushes on any cute boys she could find before losing interest. Jasmine on the other hand tried her hardest to make sure boys stayed away from Alexis as she didn't want the friends to be separated.

Alexis never really cared about finding a boyfriend. She was preoccupied with studying, although she was always up for making new friends.

Dr. Crowler stopped and began to speak.

"As some of you will know Obelisk Blue is the only dorm with separate buildings for boys and girls, so consider yourselves lucky. Now before we head to the dorms, let's get one thing clear. Boys and girls are not permitted in each other's dorms unless they receive permission, understand?"

After hearing their replies, Crowler seemed satisfied.

"Alright, follow me." They walked behind him.

Jasmine then turned to her friends.

"Who in their right mind would even invite a boy over." Mindy spoke next.

"Maybe if they were cute." Jasmine looked at her with a irate expression.

"You can't trust boys, they're only interested in one thing." She shot back.

They then reached their destination.

"Okay girls this is your dorm, Mrs. Fontaine will arrive shortly to hand out your room keys. Enjoy the welcome dinner." Crowler told them before leading the boys away.

Alexis was left speechless. The dorm resembled a fairy tale princess palace with tall towers and a moat containing crystal clear water. It was surrounded by a bridge made of white stone. The inside was even prettier. A giant diamond chandelier hung from the ceiling and a crystal staircase led to the second floor.

Passing through a door, there was a dining hall that had long tables with white table cloths. Utensils and menus were laid out neatly on the tables. Waiters stood next to them.

Sitting down and looking at the menu, Alexis saw it contained every food imaginable from the common and casual up to the fancy and expensive. After deciding what to eat, the waiters stepped into the kitchen and came out with their meals a few minutes later.

Everyone began to eat and once they were done, the waiters took their plates back into the kitchen. Miss Fontaine entered the dining hall after that and addressed them.

"Okay girls, I hope you enjoyed the welcome dinner. I would like to give you your room keys." She placed a briefcase on the table and opened it.

Miss Fontaine handed a key to each of the girls. Alexis took her room key and and head to her room. Inside she saw her room was glamorous. It was larger than the rooms you see in a house. There was a queen size bed, giant wardrobe and a door leading to her personal bathroom.

Alexis placed her bags next to the wardrobe, then opened a door leading to her balcony. Stepping outside, Alexis saw it was already dark outside. Off in the distance was a large building which Alexis assumed was the boy's dorm.

After leaving the girls dorm the boys followed Dr. Crowler further east. They eventually reached their own dorm. It was like a king's castle made of white stone with a tower at each corner. The door was large and made of wood that was painted blue.

The inside had a marble staircase and diamond chandeliers hanging from the ceiling like the girl's dorm. A door led to the dining room that Crowler led them too. Their dining room was identical to the girls, expect there was a longer table and a gold chair overlooking the rest.

Dr. Crowler took a seat in the gold chair and the blues sat down. Chazz sat as close to Crowler as he could. Everyone chose what they were going to eat and the waiters brought it out. They then started digging in.

After finishing, Crowler spoke.

"Now, everyone. Step forward to receive your room keys." He said, taking a metal suitcase out from underneath the table.

Chazz received his room key first. When Ryan took his key, Crowler shot him a look of hatred but he paid no attention to it. He headed to his room, which was just like Alexis's. There was a large bed, wardrobe and personal bathroom.

Ryan set his bag on the bed and then walked out onto the balcony.

'I'm finally here.' He thought.
