"Thanks to DemiDevimon's schemes, Tai's friends were separated. After we found out what was going on, they were able to reunite. Well all except for Sora." Ash narrated as he sat on Charizard's back. Crowmon flew alongside him while Tai, Agumon, Joe, Gomamon, Mimi and Palmon paddle a boat towards land.
"Okay, we're here." Tai said as the boat was at the shore of the forest.
"Whew! I'm tired." Joe said resting in the boat.
"Come on Mimi, get off your throne." Tai teases as he held his arms out to her.
"Huh! I wouldn't exactly call this a throne." Mimi said as Charizard and Crowmon descended and landed on the ground.
"Let's hurry and meet up with the others." Ash instructed.
"You heard him guys. Let's get going so we can reunite with our friends." Koromon said.
"Guys over here!" Matt's voice echoed making them all turn and see the blonde leading his group over to them.
"Hey, it's Matt." Joe says as the group ran over to them.
"It's been so long since I've seen you. My, you've...shrunk." Palmon says to Tsunomon and Motimon as they were with Koromon.
"Don't rub it in." The four In-Training Digimon said turning away in a huff while Motimon, the only one with hands, put them on his hips.
"Ash, it's great to see you again." T.K. told him.
"It's great to see you as well." Ash replied.
"You must be Ash. Matt and T.K told me about you. I'm Izzy, it's nice to meet you."
"It's great to meet you. I'm Ash and this is Pikachu."
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Unbelievable, a Pokemon trainer from another dimension being able to transform into two hybrids."
"I think you mean three." Izzy, Matt and T.K. were shocked by what he just said.
"Three hybrid forms!" Matt yelled.
"That's one powerful Digivice." Izzy noted.
Then T.K.'s stomach started to grumble.
"Hey Ash, would you mind making dinner for us." Ash closed his eyes and a smile formed on his face.
"You asked the right trainer. Just give me some time to prepare." The other Digidestined were surprised he knew how to cook and looked at Tai and T.K.
"Ash is able to cook and you didn't tell us." Matt remarked.
"Man we should ask Ash for food instead of finding it." Joe added.
"Is it true he can cook? He would make a excellent husband in the future." Mimi happily sighed.
"Mimi how can Ash be your future husband? You just met him the other day." Tai remainded his friend.
"That's true." Gomamon added.
"Don't interrupt my imagination, you guys." Ash was starting to become annoyed.
"Yeah well, unless we don't want anything to eat we're gonna have to contribute." Ray cut their disagreement short before heading into the forest.
"Matt, you can help me set up the dishes and the Pokemon food for my Pokemon." Ash took his Poke Balls out.
"Alright come on out." He released Greninja, Sceptile, Charizard, Talonflame and Gliscor.
This was the first time the Digidestined had seen the rest of his Pokemon.
"Those are some cool Pokemon." T.K. said as he inspected them.
"You can definitely say that again." This comment caused the other Digidestined to become confused. They were going to discuss it after they ate. Matt's Digivice then went off.
"Sora's close. We have to find her quick." Matt said.
"It's almost like we're playing tag with her." Tai complained.
"Come on, the signal points this way." Izzy said. They proceed to follow the Digivice signal.
"Would you mind staying here and making dinner. Great thanks." Tai shouted as they ran off.
"Did they just..." Ray sweat dropped after getting what they needed for dinner.
"Tai Kamiya, get back here you son of a Bisharp." Ash sighed as they had disappeared from view.
"He's as stubborn as a Tauros."
Meanwhile in a mountain area surrounded by darkness a castle stood on top of a mountain. There was a scream heard throughout the area as DemiDevimon falls down the stairs all bruised up.
"Because of your stupidity, my evil plans have failed." A humanoid Digimon says with his cape over his mouth.
"Forgive my mistakes master Myotismon. I beg you!" He begs head bowed to the ground.
"Courage, Hope, Friendship. The children's crests are beginning to glow, one by one." Myotismon says to DemiDevimon about the crests.
"Everyone makes mistakes. Remember disco, besides sir not all the children's crests have begun to glow yet." DemiDevimon says as a portal opens to reveal Sora and Biyomon. "That girl has the Crest of Love and thanks to me it's still not glowing. Anyways according to my schedule she'll be meeting up with the other children very soon. And when she does, master Myotismon, when they are all together that's when I'll make my move!" He exclaimed.
"You think you can? You better not fail otherwise my bats will have a new chew toy; YOU!" Myotismon says to DemiDevimon and walks away.
"I hate bats. I also hate the rat that zapped me with that thunderbolt." DemiDevimon says to himself laughing nervously.
"Sora!" Matt called out.
"Sora, where are you?!" T.K. shouted.
"Why don't we return to camp and try some of Ash's food for the night. Or better yet, for the next couple of weeks. My feet are killing me, not to mention every other part of my body." Joe whined.
"Wait a minute guys. Sora's heading past us and towards Ash's direction."
"Let's go back." Matt retorted.
"About time."
As they were walking through the forest, Ash had finished preparing dinner for everyone.
"I get the feeling that Tai and the others are too far away." He sighed.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
Then a nearby bush started to rustle.
"Alright who's there! Come on out or be zapped by Thunderbolt!"
"I come in peace. I just want to talk to you is all." Ash recognized her as Sora, one of Tai's friends.
"Have a seat then Sora." Ash offered. Sora accepted and sat down next to him.
"How do you know my name? I haven't introduced myself."
"Don't lie to me. You were watching us when we came across the mushrooms of forgetfulness courtesy of DemiDevimon." Sora couldn't believe he knew she had watched them.
"Forgive my behavior, but I'm steering clear of my friends for their own safety." Sora informed him.
"Why?" Ray asked.
"Running away from your problems doesn't do you any good Sora." Ash responded as she and Biyomon tasted his food. Both liked it.
"You're a excellent cook Ash. Are you and your Pokemon from another world?" Sora complimented him and then asked.
"Sora." Tai and the others make their way over to her. Everyone else then took a seat and started eating dinner. Ash's Pokemon ate their food in the background. Ash was quickly consuming his food.
"Man, he must be really hungry." Tai said.
"I'll say, he's like a garbage disposal." Joe said as Matt looked at Sora.
"So why were you running away?" The Child of Friendship asks.
"Sora does this mean you...don't like us anymore?" T.K. asked.
"No of course not." Sora says.
"Then what's wrong?" The Child of Hope asks.
"Sora why don't you tell them." Biyomon asked.
"Okay. It happened on the night Biyomon and I left camp to try and find Tai." Sores begins to tell them what happened the night she left.
[Flashback]
Sora and Biyomon were walking through a forest when Biyomon spots something.
"Shh, someone's here." Biyomon said.
"Huh? Oh!" Sora says looking a little to her right to see DemiDevimon a few yards away.
"I saw a strange Digimon, he looked like a bowling ball with wings and he was talking to something in a giant bubble." Sora's over voice says.
[End Flashback]
"So could you hear what he was saying?" T.K. asks.
"Yeah, I heard him talking about our crests and Ash's Digivice." Sora says.
"What about them?" Tai asked her.
"He was saying that each of our crests has its own special meaning. For example, Tai, your crest is the Crest of Courage." Sora says.
"The Crest of Courage?" Tai questioned and remembers something that happened back at the pyramid.
[Flashback]
Tai was standing in front of the electric firewall.
"I know you can do it." Agumon says.
"That's right and then the crest started to glow." Tai's over voice says.
Tai then thrusts his hand forward and then his Crest of Courage started glowing orange.
[End Flashback]
"And the crest you have Matt is the Crest of Friendship." Sora says looking over at him.
"Friendship." Matt says thoughtfully as he held his crest.
"And mine?" T.K. asked.
"Yours is special, T.K. It's the Crest of Hope." Sora said.
"Alright. I hope we can get back home." T.K. says to his partner.
"I don't think it works like that." Ash laughed, patting T.K on the shoulder.
"Izzy's crest is the Crest of Knowledge." Sora's voice over says.
"Joe's is the Crest of Reliability." Sora's voice over said as Joe slips and falls into the river.
"Thanks for being there Joe." Gomamon says helping his partner/friend.
"And Mimi's is the Crest of Sincerity." Sora's voice over says as Palmon uses her vines to pull her and Mimi to the other side.
"And finally mine...mine is the Crest of Love." Sora says looking down at her crest with a depressed look.
"Wow, the Crest of Love. That's perfect for you, Sora." Tai says smiling.
Sora tensed up and turned to look at him with a mad look.
"No it's not! You're wrong! Don't even say that, Tai! It's not like me at all!" Sora yelled confusing them.
"No way! I don't care what happens to everyone else. The truth is, you don't know the first thing about me. So back off!" Sora said.
"ENOUGH!" Ash exploded, startling them. "Sora, you said we don't know the first thing about you. Well, you don't know the first thing about me. You're willing to throw away your friends just because you don't care about them. You helped your friends out because you care about them. That tells me you love them. You just haven't unlocked it's power yet and yet you're willing to abandon it. I'm going to stand guard for the night to make sure nothing happens." Ash and Pikachu walked off.
"I wasn't expecting him to get that angry." Mimi admitted.
"He must have had his own problems to deal with while traveling." Sora thought about his words. Was everything he said true? She decided to see where he went. Ash was lying on a hill staring at the night sky when she approached.
"Hey Ash, do you mind if I lie next to you so we can talk." Ash nodded. Sora then laid down on the hill beside him.
"I want to apologize for my rant earlier. You were right about everything." Sora apologized.
"Don't worry about it." Ash reassured her.
Sora then reveals the reason for her outburst.
"It's just...my crest won't glow."
"Huh?"
"It's because I don't have any love."
"What are you talking about? You love your friends, don't you Sora?"
"The Digimon thought I was funny too." Sora said.
[Flashback]
"Is your name by any chance DemiDevimon?" Sora asks.
"It sure is and you're one of those kids, the DigiDestined. Tell me something did you hear about the crests?" DemiDevimon asks.
"Yes in fact I did." Sora says with Biyomon in front of her.
"Oh yeah, you're that kid Sora. The Crest of Love." DemiDevimon says chuckling evilly.
"And why are you laughing about that?" Sora wonders.
"You just think you're so hot but guess what, you'll never be able to make the crest glow. Never." DemiDevimon says dramatically.
[End Flashback]
"Don't listen to him Sora." Ash advised. "DemiDevimon doesn't know what he's talking about. You just haven't experienced your crest's full power. I love my mom, my Pokemon and my friends. In fact they're more than friends and Pokemon."
"What do you think of them as?" Sora asked.
"Family! You can't see that your mother loves you just like mine."
"How do you know about that?" Sora asked, shocked.
"It was just a lucky guess." Ash rubbed the back of his head nervously.
[Flashback]
"My family owned a flower shop. It was my mom's whole life." Sora's over voice says.
Sora's mom, Toshiko Takenouchi, was arranging flowers in a vase.
"Please mom I've gotta go to the soccer match! The girls are counting on me!" A young Sora shouts wearing a soccer uniform.
"Don't talk so loud, dear. The flowers a very sensitive." Toshiko says.
"But this match is to win the title." Sora says.
"Sora you can't go with your knee injured like that." Toshiko says.
"But mom my knee is fine." Sora says looking at her bandaged knee.
"Sora, you can't go. Sit down, we need to talk." Toshiko says and sees Sora hesitate as she sits on her knees.
"I want you to stop playing soccer and come home to work in the flower shop after school." She says.
"Do what?! I won't stop playing to work with smelly old flowers." Sora says in anger.
"I can't believe a daughter of mine would act this way. My decision is final." Toshiko says making Sora cry.
"Why can't you understand me?!" Sora asks and runs off.
"I walked around for hours. I found myself at the soccer field. The game had just finished." Sora's over voice says.
"What happened?" Tai's voice over asked.
"We lost the game 6/3. My teammates were so depressed, that they didn't even notice when they walked by me. I felt like I had let them all down. Like it was all my fault." Sora's voice over said.
[End Flashback]
She then realized what Ash meant and went back to camp to fall asleep. Ash was standing guard at the camp.
"Alright now that the Digidestined are gathered, the next order of business is to find out where the legendary crest is. Where do I start is the question?" Ash asked out loud, holding his digivice up. "What's the secret concerning you and why was my ancestor selected to protect the Digital World."
"Rah!"
"That sounded like...Crowmon! I have to get back to the others."
"Crimson Lightning!" When Ash returned to camp, he spotted a vampire-like Digimon having defeated Greymon, Ikkakumon, Kabuterimon, Garurumon, Togemon and Crowmon. They all had reverted back to rookie form.
"Sceptile, Leaf Blade!" Sceptile ran forward and slashed Myotismon with the glowing blades on it's arms.
"That's him o terrible one. He's the trainer that possesses the legendary digivice." DemiDevimon informed his master.
"So it's true. A Pokemon trainer was chosen to come to the Digital World."
"I'm sorry. Do I know you?" Ash asked.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"You're going to find out who he is. He's lord Myotismon." DemiDevimon introduced Myotismon.
"So you're the one who's after my legendary crest." Ash remarked.
"What's he talking about Tai?" Sora asked.
"And what's this legendary crest?" Matt questioned.
"Oh they haven't told you? Your new friend found out about the legendary crest of will. DemiDevimon, you deal with the Digidestined. I'll handle the trainer personally." Myotismon declared.
"You think so? His combined forms will crush you without breaking a sweat."
"Don't be so sure about that. Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon struck Sceptile, Talonflame and Pikachu with red whips.
"Without any Pokemon you can't master Digivolve." Myotismon told him.
"You don't know me at all, do you?" Ash smirked.
"Are you ready Greninja." Greninja nodded and then changed into Ash-Greninja.
"Did Greninja change forms?" T.K. questioned.
"Now he looks like Ash." Joe noted as Tai smiled.
"His Greninja's special." Tai commented.
"Ay yi yi! Time for me to fly away." DemiDevimon made his escape.
"I know you. You're the descendant of Auran Ketchum, the first human that came to the Digital World. I thought I had wiped out the Ketchum family. I'll gladly do it again." Myotismon charged forward prompting Ash-Greninja to retaliate.
"Grizzly Wing!" A swarm of bats came towards Ash-Greninja and Ash, sending them flying into some nearby trees.
"Ash!" The group called out.
"He saved us. I always assumed my mother cared more about the flower shop, but I was wrong. She didn't want me to get hurt."
"That was a big mistake." Ray glared at him. "If you think Ultimate was the highest level, you're sadly mistaken."
"Biyomon digivolve to...Birdramon!" Birdramon shouts and flies at Myotismon. "Meteor Wing!" She sends fireballs at Myotismon but he uses his cape to block the attack from the Champion.
"Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon shouts using his attack making Birdramon screech in pain.
"Birdramon!" Sora cried as she started running towards her partner as she fell from the sky in pain.
"Birdramon, no! I LOVE YOU!" She cries making her Digivice turn all red and her Crest of Love symbol shoots out of her tag.
"Birdramon digivolve to..." Birdramon was engulfed in flames as she became a bird creature that stood up on her legs with arms and had two wings on her back with long blonde hair, she was red with blue and white markings all over her and she was ready for a fight. "Garudamon!" Garudamon shouts after digivolving to her Ultimate form.
"D.N.A Charge, Overdrive!"
"Falcomon warp digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!" Falcomon spun around and in his place was a draconic Digimon in light blue armor.
"UlforceVeedramon. I've never heard of this Digimon before."
(Digi-Analyzer)
"UlforceVeedramon. A mega level Digimon said to possess the fastest speed among the Royal Knights. It's body is covered in extremely rare blue Digizoid armor."
"You're messing with the wrong trainer." Ash gritted his teeth. "There's no way you're getting your hands on the legendary crest. Not while I'm around."
His Digivice started to glow, then he and Charizard followed suit.
"Impossible?!" Myotismon exclaimed in shock.
"What's going on?" Sora asked the others.
"He's turning into a hybrid Tai." Izzy said.
"Yes he is." Tai nodded.
"Digimon."
"Digimon Digital Monsters, Digimon are the Champions. Digimon Digital Monsters, Digimon are the Champions."
"Ash master digivolve to..." He and Charizard overlap and a new figure emerges in their place. "MagnaCharizard."
"Four hybrids. That's impossible." Myotismon said.
"Is that really Ash?" Sora asked.
(Digi-Analyzer)
"As MagnaCharizard I generate flames that are as hot as the sun."
"Go get him you guys." T.K. said.
"Why is it that the Crest of Love glowed and another hybrid form made his appearance just as I was about to claim victory." Myotismon growled. "And to make matters worse, I'm now up against a mega level Digimon as well."
"End of the line Myotismon." UlforceVeedramon told the ultimate level Digimon, getting into a fighting stance.
"We'll protect you and our friends Sora." MagnaCharizard declared.
"Let's finish this MagnaCharizard, UlforceVeedramon." Garudamon said.
"Right." The other two nodded.
"Shadow Wing!" A flaming phoenix flew through the air.
"The Ray of Victory!" A V-shaped beam of energy was released from UlforceVeedramon's chest.
"Now it's my turn. Flame Force!"
"Grizzly Wing!" A swarm of bats was released, but it wasn't enough to stop all three attacks.
"I didn't anticipate such strength." The light completely engulfed Myotismon.
"Let's get out of here while he's distracted." The Digidestined climb on Garudamon while Ray mounts UlforceVeedramon and Ash's Pokemon climb onto MagnaCharizard.
"Time to check out the camp." MagnaCharizard said as they flew off.
"Next time you won't escape. And I'm going to figure out a way to destroy you Ketchum." Myotismon called out.
"All you had to do was stop worrying about it Sora, and you got your crest to work." Tai said.
"Ash, you and your Pokemon were incredible." Sora said. Hearing this caused a blush to form on his face.
"Oh well I...they sure were and..." He trailed off after feeling a pair of arms around his neck. The arms belonged to Sora.
"And thanks for helping me."
"Are we going to find out what his secret is?" Joe asked.
"Next time." Tai answered.
"Hey Matt, Ash must be very lucky with girls." T.K. told his older brother, noticing he was jealous of the raven-haired trainer.
"Don't be ridiculous T.K., I don't have a problem with Ash." Ash stared at them with a serious expression on his face.
"The next order of business is to determine the location of the legendary crest of will before Myotismon gets his hands on it."
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"I agree. There's no time to waste." Tai declared.
"As long as you're by our side, we can figure out where it is." T.K. retorted.
"If we don't, Myotismon will find it first and destroy it." Mimi added.
"Not if we get to it before he does." Ash continued.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
With everything wrapped up, the group set off to find the legendary crest.
Meanwhile...
"You think you can get the legendary crest of will. And you believe I'll destroy it, no I'll use it's power to take over the Digital World and your world Digidestined. First things first though, I'll destroy you and your Pokemon Ash Ketchum then I'll do the same thing to your world once I get there."
