King's Mommy
Imagine this story as a nice subplot for an episode. This takes place between "Eda's Requiem" and "Knock, Knock, Knockin' On Hooty's Door".
It was a bright and sunny day on the Boiling Isles and all seemed pleasant this morning at the Owl House. It had been two days since the Gland Prix, and now King was officially a Clawthorne and legally Eda's son. It helped Eda feel better knowing that even if King left her he would always be her son and a member of her family. Eda got dressed and walked down to the kitchen where she found Luz and King sitting at the table, eating breakfast. Luz was enjoying a griffin egg while King sat in his highchair and ate some cereal, shoving the whole bowl in his face.
Eda smiled as she walked toward them and said, "Hey moochers, what's new?"
She came up to the table as Luz happily said, "Morning Eda. I was gonna go see Amity later. Maybe she can help me with the echo mouse."
Eda smiled at Luz and affectionately rubbed King's skull while she said, "Sure kid, just don't have too much fun. We already have one baby in this house."
King pushed her hand away and said, "Hey I'm not a baby!"
She started scratching him, making him giggle as she happily said, "But you are a Clawthorne, so I can treat you like one."
She stopped scratching him and walked to the fridge as he sighed and said, "Okay."
She opened the fridge door and pulled out apple blood while Luz said, "Wow Eda, you're in a good mood today."
She poured the apple blood into a cup and took a sip as she said, "Yeah. These past two days have been pretty good. Makes me feel like a new me. Nothing could spoil this."
She finished her drink and then suddenly glanced around in thought as she said, "Hmm…"
Luz curiously asked, "Something wrong Eda?"
Eda turned and stared into space as she said, "I just feel like I'm forgetting something."
Suddenly she sprouted feathers on her arms and cheeks, Luz and King jumped in fear as Luz said, "Uh… Eda… Did you take an elixir this morning?"
Her eyes widened in shock and realization as she turned to them and said, "Uh oh!"
She then transformed into the Owl Beast and let out a loud screech as she looked at Luz and King. Luz let out a cry of fear as she picked up King and ran away when Eda pounced at them, missing and knocking over the table.
Luz put King down and urgently shouted, "I'll distract her you get an elixir!"
King did not argue as he ran into the other room while Luz ran at Eda with her arms up and shouted, "Eda stop! Snap out of it!"
Eda roared ferociously and charged at Luz and knocked her against the back wall; Luz groaned in pain as she saw Eda approach her. She snarled viciously as she walked up and stared Luz in the face before letting out a loud roar.
Suddenly they heard King yell, "Hey Eda! Over here!"
King was standing in the doorway with a bottle of elixir in his hand as he waved his arms around to draw her attention.
Luz put her arm out as she yelled, "King no!"
Eda left Luz and walked toward King as she snarled and growled and King nervously said, "I did not think this through."
Her shadow was cast over him as she stared down at him, snarling viciously, and he nervously held the elixir in front of her face. Suddenly Eda opened her mouth wide and ate King in one bite before swallowing him whole, as well as the elixir. Luz screamed in horror as she watched, then Eda turned back toward her growling, but then she suddenly stopped. She changed back to her normal form and stared at Luz for a moment.
Luz got up and walked toward Eda with concern as she said, "Eda, are you okay?"
Eda was a bit uneasy as she answered, "I think so."
She coughed a bit and then spit out the bottle the elixir was in, now it was completely empty and Eda felt relieved."
She put the bottle down and smiled at Luz as she said, "Thanks for that kid."
Luz was still very nervous and Eda looked around and noticed something as she asked, "Where's King?"
Luz walked to her and nervously pointed her finger down at Eda's stomach, Eda was confused as she looked down. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw that her belly was now round and swollen, making her look like she was pregnant, she looked like she was about to give birth.
Eda stared down at her round stomach in shock and fright as she said, "What the…?!"
She looked back at Luz who awkwardly said, "When you were the Owl Beast King gave you the elixir but you kind of ate him along with it."
Eda was surprised but then curiously licked her chops and said, "Huh. So that's why my mouth tastes like a rat's nest."
They both looked down at her stomach as they heard King angrily say, "Hey I bathed last week!"
Luz stared at Eda's belly and smiled in relief before kneeling with concern as she said, "King you're alive! Are you okay?"
Inside Eda's stomach King was sitting in puddle of her stomach acid as he angrily said, "I'd be better if I wasn't someone's breakfast! Get me out of here!"
Eda closed her eyes and turned around with a mildly annoyed expression as she said, "Yeah, yeah, relax King. I'll have you out of there in no time."
Luz followed her as she walked into the other room and pulled out a large bucket; Eda bent over the bucket and started gagging repeatedly. Luz cringed in disgust as she listened to her gag even louder, trying to get King out of her stomach.
After a couple minutes nothing happened and Eda nervously said, "Uh oh."
Luz looked at her with concern as she asked, "What? What is it?"
Eda looked down at her belly then turned to Luz as she said, "I can't puke King. I didn't have breakfast yet so the Owl Beast must've been really hungry."
Inside Eda's stomach King stared up in fear and started kicking the stomach walls as he said, "What?! You mean I'm stuck in here?! Get me out of here! I am NOT going out the back door!"
Eda looked down at her stomach tediously as she said, "Don't worry King, my stomach can't digest you. You're too chewie."
She turned to Luz as she curiously asked, "Then how are we going to get King out of your stomach?"
Eda looked back down at her belly as King said, "Yeah cuz I am NOT staying in here!"
Eda smiled confidently with her eyes closed as she patted her swollen belly and said, "Don't worry King. Mama's got a plan."
She reached into her hair and pulled out a book about potions, she opened it and flipped through the pages until she found what she wanted.
She showed the book to Luz and pointed at a picture of a guy throwing up as she said, "Here we go. A vomit potion. This will get rid of everything in your stomach. It saves your life if you ever drink poison."
Eda took a piece of paper and started making a list as Luz said, "So this get King out?"
Eda quickly finished her list and gave it to Luz as she said, "Oh yeah. No problem. Here kid. I need you to get these ingredients for me. Take Owlbert. Morton should have most of them but the rest of them should be easy enough to find."
Luz was surprised as she inquired, "You're not coming?"
Eda put her hands out, moved them down to refer to her huge belly, and folded them while saying, "No way! I'm not going out looking like this! Who knows what people will say!"
Hooty stretched toward them and happily stared at Eda's stomach as he said, "Hoot! Hoot! Looks like someone's got a bun in the oven!"
Eda was annoyed as she said, "I rest my case."
Luz looked at Eda's swollen baby and smiled as she said, "But Eda you look like a real mother."
Bulges appeared in the sides of Eda's belly as King squirmed inside and angrily said, "Don't encourage her! Just get me out of here!"
Luz stared at Eda's belly with an adoring smile and her hands on her cheek as she said, "Aww! He's like a widdle baby in the womb!"
Eda groaned in annoyance while King grunted angrily, then Luz grabbed Eda's staff and said, "Alright. I'll get everything you need and be right back. Don't worry King! We'll get you out of there!"
She walked out the door and flew away on Owlbert as Eda watched with her hands on her hips, then she looked down at her round swollen belly.
She accepted what she had to do as she said, "Well, make yourself at home King. This could be a while."
Inside her stomach King leaned against the stomach wall as he said, "Great."
Sometime later Eda was in her room looking at her reflection in a full-length mirror, but she focused on her round swollen stomach.
She smiled admiringly as she posed and caressed her belly while saying, "I know I look fat but I carry it so well."
Her belly started moving as King squirmed inside as he sarcastically said, "Oh great! I'm glad you enjoy having me in your tummy! What's taking Luz so long?!"
Realizing Luz should have been back hours ago Eda looked at the window and said, "Knowing her she's probably gotten into some kind of trouble."
Inside her stomach King put his hands out before holding up his head as he pouted, "Great! Now I'm gonna be stuck in here even longer!"
Eda looked down at her bump and pointed her finger at it as she said, "Hey no more wining! It could be worse. Just be thankful it's my stomach. Or would you rather be in Hooty's?"
Inside her stomach King stared forward as he imagined being in Hooty's stomach and he shuddered in fear and disgust.
He looked up and kicked against her stomach walls as he complained, "No but I still don't like it in here! It's dark, it smells, and there's hardly any space!"
Eda stared down at her belly as she walked out of her room and walked down the hall as she said, "Hey this isn't exactly fun for me either! You think I like walking around with a little demon inside me? You're weighing me down and your squirming is giving me gas."
She stopped when she came to the stairs and slowly proceeded as she said, "Plus, having you in there makes walking down the stairs a lot harder."
As she walked King was swished around inside her stomach as he said, "Well at least you don't get knocked around like a carnival ride."
Eda made it to the bottom of the stairs and kept walking as she said, "Look, neither of us like this so let's just deal with it until we can get the vomit potion ready. And that means no complaining from you!"
Bulges poked out in the sides of Eda's belly and it shook a bit as she heard King make noises before letting out his squeak of rage.
Hearing his rage squeal inside her made her laugh as she looked at her belly and said, "You sound like a little girl screaming for help."
A few hours later
Eda drank a whole cup of apple blood and let out a sigh of relaxation before putting the cup away.
She looked down at her belly as she heard King said, "Hey Eda, no more apple blood please. It's already wet enough in here."
Eda smiled as she patted her round belly and said, "Don't worry King. That should get me through the rest of the day. You just enjoy the ride."
She started walking while King said, "It's actually not that bad in here. Sure it's dark and smelly, but it's also warm and squishy. It's actually kinda comfy in here."
Eda chuckled in amusement as she said, "Glad you're having fun."
Inside her stomach King looked at the walls around him and said, "Actually, this brings back some memories for me. From when I was in that egg."
Eda was shocked as King continued, "I guess being in your tummy is kind of like being in an egg."
Eda looked down at her abdomen, feeling him inside, and placed her hand against it as she said, "Uh… Yeah. It is kind of like that."
She heard King make a few noises as he moved around inside her belly and she felt him move against her hand. This made her smile as she felt her little baby demon inside her belly, she felt as though he was actually her own son.
She kept walking as she proudly said, "I guess this isn't so bad."
A couple hours later she was sitting on the couch trying to pass time reading a book, she felt King move around in her stomach but he didn't say much.
She stopped reading when she heard King say, "Hey Eda…"
She looked at her bump and said, "Yeah King?"
In her stomach King stared up as he said, "I'm getting hungry in here."
Eda thought and said, "Yeah me too."
King surprised as he said, "Really?"
She got off the couch and started walking as she glanced at her stomach and chuckled as she said, "Yeah even with a full stomach I'm still hungry. And since I'm eating for two right now I'd better make more than usual."
She went in the kitchen and cooked dinner, she cooked a dish involving tentacles and put it on her plate and quickly began eating. Inside her stomach King ate some of the food she swallowed and actually liked it held his mouth open and let it fall in.
After a while Eda smiled down at her stomach and said, "Alright King, this food's for me too, so don't everything like a parasite."
King did as she said and once he was full he stopped eating and watched the food be digested around him in her stomach acid.
Bubbles formed around him and he happily said, "Ooh! It's like a bubble bath in here!"
He started playing with the bubbles and laughed, which made Eda's swollen abdomen jiggle and move a bit. She smiled down at her swollen belly lovingly as she rested her hand on top of it and felt King move and paly inside her. Hooty stretched in with a camera in his mouth as he took a picture of Eda, he'd been taking pictures of her all day.
She groaned in annoyance and said, "Do you have to keep doing that?"
Hooty swallowed the camera and happily said, "Precious memories for the scrapbook."
He pulled himself back through the doorway and left, then Eda looked back down at her belly and smiled.
A couple of hours later
It was dark outside and Eda sitting on the couch looking at Penstagram when she felt King stop moving inside her, and she heard him mumble and make other noises.
She looked down at her round belly and said, "Hey, you okay in there King?"
Inside her stomach King's eyelids were getting heavy as he yawned and said, "Yeah, just sleepy. I'm gonna take a little nap. Night."
He curled up with his head against one of her stomach walls and his butt and tail against the other as he fell asleep.
Eda stared at her stomach and said, "Goodnight."
He wasn't moving but she feel him breathing and she could hear him snoring inside her belly as it expanded and contracted from her breathing and his. She smiled and put her Penstagram in her hair before she started caressing her swollen abdomen with King inside. She stopped when she felt a hard area and realized it was where his skull was and she held her hand in place.
When she knew he was out cold she happily said, "Don't worry King. Mama will keep you safe."
She felt him move a bit and she got tired as she laid down on the couch with her hands on her belly and fell asleep with a smile on her face. Sometime later finally made it back with a bag full of all the ingredients for the vomit potion. She stopped when she saw Eda sleeping on the couch and smiled as she saw how peaceful she was.
She walked up to her and said, "Eda."
Eda woke up and looked up at Luz who smiled and blushed as she said, "Sorry it took so long. I bumped into Amity and got distracted. We got into some trouble with Tibbles and I got sidetracked. Sorry to keep you waiting."
Eda stood up and said, "Don't sweat it kid. Better late than never."
Luz than curiously asked, "How's King?"
Eda smiled down at her belly and said, "He's fine, listen."
They stayed quiet as they heard King snoring inside Eda's belly and Eda smiled at Luz and said, "You know he just dozes off when he gets comfy."
Luz put her head against Eda's belly and lovingly said, "Aww!"
Eda took the bag as she said, "Anyway, let's get to work."
Eda began working on the potion as she mixed all the ingredients and followed the recipe, it was harder without magic but she pulled it off.
When she was done she turned from the potion to her stomach and rubbed it as she said, "Done! Hey King wake up."
In her stomach King woke up as he drowsily said, "Mommy?"
Eda was shocked as she stared at her stomach and said, "Uh…"
King was now fully awake as he said, "Oh right Eda! What's going on?"
Eda moved her hand to refer to the potion as she said, "The potion's ready. Time to get you out of there."
Her stomach shook a bit as King happily said, "Yes! Great! Let's do it!"
She took the potion and prepared to drink as she seriously said, "Alright King, get ready for the ride of your life."
She chugged the whole potion down in one big gulp as Luz and Hooty watched with shock as Eda threw the pot away. She waited a moment before she looked sick and then puked up a large owl pellet onto the floor.
The pellet shook a bit before it broke and King came out and looked around shouting, "I'm free!"
Eda's stomach was back to his regular size and King ran to her and hugged her as she held him in her arms.
She smiled at him and happily said, "Welcome back."
King was happy but then yawned and while he said, "Yeah I'm glad to be back. But I'm still sleepy."
He climbed inside her hair and disappeared into it before falling back asleep as Eda proudly watched him.
She smiled as she stroked her hair, hearing King snore inside, and happily said, "Sleep tight bonehead. My stomach may be unavailable but my hair is always vacant."
She walked away and went up to her room with King sleeping in her hair while Luz watched them happily.
Author's note: I got the idea for this story after rewatching "The Intruder". Since she swallowed the Snaggle Back I feel like she could definitely swallow King as the Owl Beast. I also thought it would be a nice parody to have him stay in her stomach making her look like she was pregnant. It also works really well since he's her adopted son and he is technically a baby, or at least a toddler. I could picture her enjoying this a bit. I posted an image of her with a vore belly on deviantart a while back and now I'm using it for the cover image of this story. Please comment.
