Totto Land ~ Nuts Island
In the forest on the edge of Peanuts Town, a band of Homies were dragging away an unconscious man. It was a young man with long maroon hair that he had tied into the back using a hair tie, in addition to having bangs in front of his forehead, the sides of his head, and that stands up, long eyelashes. He was dressed in a kimono with what appears like bird wings designed on the sleeves and tail feathers on the bottom. He wore also feather earrings. This man was Suzaku.
He was currently restrained by a tree, his sword still in his belt, while the Homies sang continuously "we bring back an intruder". And as they took her to the already visible city, one of the flowers had the worst idea.
Homie Flower: Hey! We better get his sword, just in case.
Homie Squirrel: You're right.
Homie Tree (loosens his grip and extends the branch towards the weapon.): I take care of it.
As he brushed against the scabbard, a black aura tinged with red enveloped Suzaku, who froze with fear. In a fraction of a second, the Dragon Eater had sliced into twelve pieces the tree that held him, and finally opened his dark red eyes. Although terrified, the Homies pounced on him unaware that he had already attacked, and won.
Suzaku (sheathes his sword): Kurnugi-Style Sword-Drawing Art... Underworld Drop.
Without their understanding, the young man's adversaries were swept away: the plants had been cut in the middle, while the squirrels were the only survivors, as they ran to take shelter in the forest, some in poor condition. Suzaku, in all his calm, began to inspect the place with his gaze and one thing was sure: This forest was anything but normal.
Suzaku (starts to walk): Strange, I don't remember coming to this place. And what were his creatures, Yokai? Whatever, I have to go in-
The Sword Saint Dragon Slayer stopped when it smelled a familiar scent, that of the open sea. After running towards the end of the path, he realized that he was on a beach. Several questions ran through his head: Where was he? What was he doing here? Did the Dragon Gods have anything to do with this? One thing was certain, despite all his questions, he felt at peace. It was nothing new, the offshore wind had always had this calming effect on him. Already a child, he always fled to the port of his city as soon as he had time, especially at sunset. Its glow reminded him of that of a candle near a bed, that of an andon flying away in a night sky, that… that… that of an infernal fire that devours everything in its path. When the samurai of Diabolos regained his senses, a few drops of sweat beaded on his forehead.
Suzaku (calmly catches his breath): Well, better go to town, maybe I'll find some information there.
Neither one nor two, he set off towards but was shocked by the appearance of the city: the only buildings in sight appeared to be gigantic peanuts. Suzaku, after what he had just been through, felt that if the buildings were as extravagant as the forest, then better not imagine the inhabitants.
Nuts Island ~ Peanuts Town
Once in town, he had to say that he did not expect to see this. Buildings didn't look like food, they were make in food. Houses in jars of giant jams, breads, giant peanuts and covered in butter, all with nuts. How was he so sure? His sense of smell: already on the beach, his nose was assailed by the smells but there, it was to the point he was almost disgusted. And as he thought, the inhabitants were as extravagant as the buildings: Beastmen, Peanutmen, food and objects that move and talk, with long limbs and many others… Nevertheless, he doesn't was no more shocked than that, after all Earth Land was known for these strange creatures, even if this was a first. What really surprised him was that twice he had tried to ask for directions and twice he had been avoided. Moreover, as soon as he arrived, Suzaku felt all eyes on him, after all among all the varied clothes and hairstyles, it was his kimono and his scarlet hair that was the most visible, it was also necessary to recognize that his sword was certainly intimidating.
Suzaku: Weird, why do they always avoid me?
?: Hey you!
Suzaku: Hmm?
When he turned around, Suzaku saw seven men, including one dressed in a piece of armor and a broadsword, another muscular for ten, and the others armed with rifles or crossbows. They seemed unfriendly and eager to talk, only the somewhat loud call had also attracted the attention of a good part of the civilians.
Suzaku: Greetings.
?: Can we know who you are?
Suzaku: My name is Suzaku and I would like to know-
?: He just want to know what division are you from, dumbass?
Suzaku: Division? Forgive me but I don't think you understand. I'm not from here.
?: You're the one who doesn't understand! Or you say who you are...
?: ...Or we kick your ass. By the way, give me your weapon, it looks pretty good... for me.
Suzaku (seriously, places his right hand on the hilt): Come get it, if you dare.
? (draws his broadsword): Very well. You would have wanted it.
The man then rushed at Suzaku, but when he met his gaze, he warned as if he seemed a blow. Everyone saw the man with the feather earrings sprint towards the pseudo-knight, but no one saw him hit him with his sword, not even the latter, although he felt the impact. A few seconds passed while the opponents were there without moving, planted like stone columns in the ground.
?: Well then, what are you waiting for to cut him?
Suzaku: Impossible.
?: And why?
Suddenly, the broadsword and the armor shattered, while their owner found himself spitting blood on the ground, with a gash at the level of the left ribs to the top of the navel.
Suzaku: 'tis because it is already done... for me.
? (also rushes at Suzaku): You!
? (loads his crossbow): Watch out!
As he prepared to deliver a violent punch to Fifth Generation Dragon Slayer, the latter passed in a fraction of a second the man who now had his chest severed from the left shoulder to the right abdomen. The spectators were shocked and started to run away.
? (shoot with his rifle): Take it!
When the bullet was fired, the Dragon Eater had returned to a neutral position against their opponents, however it appeared that the shot had failed.
?: What the- I don't understand! I'm sure I aimed for the head!
? (shoot with his crossbow): Leave it to me!
This time he only saw their opponent's hair move, but he did see the arrow split in two and fall to the ground. They soon realized what was going on, the young man advancing towards them.
? (frightened): I dream, he cut the arrow too fast to be seen. Don't tell me he did the same with the bullet.
?: Don't talk bullshit! He must have dodged it, or else he ate a Devil Fruit! We just have to shoot him all at once.
Suzaku: For your information, I didn't eat any fruit or devil for acquire this power...
They saw too late that their target had passed behind them, and in an instant, the men were left with multiple gashes on their bodies, while their weapons were all destroyed.
Suzaku: ...only a dragon.
?: What is happening here.
When he turned around, Suzaku saw four women, and each had necks disproportionate to the size of their already larger than normal bodies and who, given the stark resemblance, were sisters. Behind them was a band of soldiers armed to the teeth.
The first was thickset with a fat face and neck; this fat obscured the long neck. She had long, wavy, teal hair and wears a buttoned gown as well as a wide-brimmed hat on her head that has flowers around it.
The second was tall and thin. She had long, wavy sky blue hair, and she wore a hat that obscures her left eye. She also wore long pants and shirt which are both striped vertically.
The third was tall, thin. She had a square head and long, wavy blue hair. On her torso she only wore an open jacket, which ends halfway down her chest exposing her cleavage, as well as a bandolier across her chest. She also wore vertically striped pants and a bowler hat, as well as an ammunition belt on her waist. She was the only one of the lot to have pistols, the others having swords.
But it was the fourth that intrigued him the most. She was tall, very slim, and extremely pale with long, light blue hair that is curled at the end. She had a neck with a tattoo of a stripe and two hearts on it. Her face was obscured by a hat with an extremely wide brim which is easily about three times her size. Given the smoke coming from her mouth, she must have a lit cigarette in corner of her mouth. She wore a pair of hooped earrings, a dress with vertical stripes, and a sash around her waist.
Suzaku: May I know your names, warriors?
? (raises her pistol and shoot): The ones that will make you bite the dust.
Despite her effort, her bullet ended up like the arrow and its predecessor, only this time its two pieces went into a wall, each creating smoke, confirming that it had been severed. However, this time he had had trouble deflecting the shot.
?: What?!
Suzaku (head bowed): Too bad, you have an advantage over the others. Your outfit unsettled me.
? (covers her chest): What are you implying that you're ogled at me?
Suzaku (still with his head down): Never, but...
?: Hmm?
Suzaku (reveals a smirk smile and puffy cheeks): ...I just find her as ridiculous as it is hilarious.
? (offended and angry, prepares to shoot again): Huh?! So you, I'll kill you.
? (holds out her arm in front of her sister): Useless Effiler, you don't measure up.
Effiler: What do you mean, Amande?
?: You saw it right. It slices the bullets like butter.
Effiler: But Hacher.
?: She's right-monder. You know too little about fencing there to hope to touch him-monder.
Effiler: You too Monder? You give yourself the word or what?! I can beat it and I prove it!
Amande: Girls?
Monder, Hacher (knock out Effiler and catch her): Roger that/-monder.
Monder: Do we let you manage or stay to support you-monder?
Amande (walks towards Suzaku): I'll take care of it, evacuate the area. And try to calm them down
Hacher (wears Effiler on her shoulder): As you wish. We know you won't lose.
With these words, the three sisters left with their troops leaving then leaving the man and the woman alone, then a few meters away, preparing to fight.
Amande: I suggest that we reface the introductions.
Suzaku: Gladly.
As they both draw their blades a few inches, the air began to quiver under the pressure of the two fighters.
Suzaku: I am Suzaku, the Vermilion Dragon.
Amande: And I am Charlotte Amande, the Demon Lady.
YO, this is DJ-Zombie on the decks!
This is an alternate sequel to my fanfiction: "Sword of the Ocean" where Suzaku is sent to the Grand Line instead of Elentear. I had let my viewers decide on two possibilities, either Suzaku going to Big Mom or he was going to Kaido. Fate decided that: out of five votes, two were for the Beast Pirates and only one was for the Big Mom Pirates. If you want more info, I invite you to go see the original and tell me if you liked it, to know that the next chapter will be the last, okay?
It was DJ-Zombie on the decks, TCHAO!
