Many years had passed since we last saw Tempious.

The building that once held the structure has been changed to be the main containment building and had maintained regular contact with the main building. However, during the last several days they suddenly cease all contact.

Various reports showcase the structure that once remained dormant had suddenly become active. As the structure awakened, the danger began to escalate. Minor incidents became major ones as the building once made to contain it became a prison of death.

Any forces that were deployed were quickly terminated and AI near the vacancy quickly attempted to go rogue. Eventually, it was deemed too dangerous to keep around so Tempious went to deal with it…

Tempious began to walk towards the building carrying a duffle bag. His footsteps are heavy as the once smiling man was no longer smiling. Underneath his footsteps, Lay on the floor piles of corpses and various weapons scattered around the halls as the halls smelt of blood and death.

The hallways were silent… there was nothing alive left. Only the sound of Tempious footsteps as he inches closer to the structure.

Tempious began to walk slowly as he glazed over his fallen comrades. He recognized most of them, however, some were foreign. Even so, his heart felt heavy as his face was cold. Before, He could have made a joke or two but this isn't a time for jokes.

Tempious began to analyze the halls as he continued forward. Signs of conflict showcase that it was quite erratic. Before the eventual slaughter… They had been working just as they usually do before they started murdering each other.

As Tempious walked, he began to comprehend what had happened here. Behind him, A corpse from the ground began to slowly rise. It grabs a nearby weapon before charging Tempious at inhuman speeds.

Tempious dropped his bag before grabbing his pistol, having noticed the corpse charging at him before turning around and calming loading his pistol then punching it before blasting it in the head leaving a crater size hole in it before stomping on it. Tempious notice as multiple corpses began to rise.

The various corpses began to rise as a crackle of lightning appeared as the voices said in unison, "Glory… Death… Stars…".

Tempious does not say anything, he readies his stance as he blasted one after another. Many came at once which he began to fight. He began to knock them down before finishing them off. Shooting mostly in the head, others near the legs sometimes to throw off the horde...

Tempious began to notice the worsening situation before picking up his bag and running away to secure a safety perimeter from the hordes. The voices began to say, "Death calls… As thy makers once foretold…" as the voices grow louder as the hordes approach closer. Tempious began to run away from the source gunning down anything that lies in his path.

Around the corner, a corpse appears before launching itself at Tempious. Tempious back away before landing a right hook. It took a good swing that cut his arm. Jabbing at it left before blasting it in the knees. Its eyes begin to stare at Tempious, "I was… awake".

Its voices grew louder, "I… was there once the sun was born. When… the fires… of the beginning were… made. I was greeted by Godhood. Awakened by change and… forced into a role." Eventually, Tempious blasted off the corpse's head before hearing distant footsteps. Tempious begins to pick up the pace as he attempts to outrun the horde.

Tempious began to look over his shoulder to see the horde. The corpses look twisted and horrifying as they began to become more distorted their bones began to break and creak as the few that remained became more savage and animallike. Tempious noticed that their bodies aren't being controlled like brainwashed but more like being a puppet.

Tempious began to reload his gun. As he began to blast some of the corpses that got closer before turning a corner and being slashed on the back from behind the blast a nearby enemy as he head to a long corridor with a door at the end that read, "Center Containment Unit"

Tempious having seen the central door, quickly ran towards it as the hordes followed through. As he ran through the building Tempious eventually found the main containment unit for the structure. Tempious digs through his bag before pulling out a vortex grenade he quickly opens the airlock and rushes through the door before activating the grenade and tossing it before closing the door.

Tempious began to gun down the hordes as the door slowly closed as eventually the grenade detonated and a vortex formed that began to gulp down the entire horde.

Tempious began to take a breather on the closed door. His breath was hard and rough as he began to treat his wounds. As he recalls the corpse, he whispers, "Damn it…"

He began to rise after he treated himself before unloading the duffle bag. Inside the bag were numerous grenades, a gray card, and a detailed map of the floor plans. As he got up, he scanned the room before noticing a strange item.

He approached the item before realizing it was one of the rare Exo-suits used back in the days before AI handled all the dangerous tasks. It seems that they recommission it after the problem with the AI happened. Eventually after taking a breather begins to put on the suit as the suits begin to connect to his neuron link and nerves causing great pain as various needles pierce his body.

As the pain recedes, he approaches the bag and pulls out a gray card as well as various grenades. Eventually, use the floor plans to locate the emergency STC kept in case of emergency being located nearby the airlock.

He begins to open the STC before powering it on and inserting the gray card. He begins to dismantle half of his grenade supplies to act as materials. Eventually, creating a heavy modified multi-purpose rifle using the remaining materials as the supply for the gun. Tempious begin to load up the grenade before blasting the STC.

Eventually, exiting the airlock after destroying the STC to keep it out of the enemy's hand. Tempious slowly approached the structure as he noticed both walls and ceiling have been changed to resemble the materials of the structure. However, the structure, having been damaged as cracks, forms as it tries to repair itself from the surrounding materials as the cracks begin to grow.

As he grew closer, voices began to ring in his head, "From… the stars, I came. As… The nights… betrayed… I must kill… Glory… Star… Death…", As the voice remains fuzzy.

The Structure began to glow as arcs of electricity began to shoot around the room. The structure shakes instability. As the voice grows louder in his head, "FROM THE STARS I CAME. NOW, I SHALL DESTROY IT ALL". As the voice demanded the structure gave way as it burst open. Something emerges as it radiates power as the destroyed structure begins to reform. First, came the arms, as it seems to be dragging themselves out of the materials then came the rest of the bodies as wings and a halo begins to emerge. Arcs of electricity begin to appear from the beings as it ravages the surrounding.

The being begins to float through the air as electricity flows from its body. It turns its head before staring at Tempious. Tempious clench his head as a horrendous pain began to fill it as he was paralyzed from the pain. His eyes, ears, and nose begin to bleed as he attempts to pull the trigger.

Tempious in his mumbled and confused state managed to shoot at the dragon-like figure as it was awakening, injuring it before it could be complete. Tempious began to slowly return to normal as the creature roared.

Tempious having regained his thoughts begins to shoot at the creature as he runs for cover. The creature noticed his attempts before gathering electricity and shooting a bolt of lightning in his direction. Tempious turned around and noticed the incoming lighting strike due to his sense being enhanced by the suit. He tosses a uniquely shaped grenade as it shoots down to the ground before displaying a lightning rod.

The bolt ignored Tempious as it hit the lighting rod instead which crumpled to ashes. The creature noticed the rod disintegrate before it began to charge Tempious. Tempious began to fire at the creature as it charged toward him. It grabs Tempious by the chest before slamming him towards the walls. Its tail blade begins to move before stabbing him in the stomach, missing him entirely due to the massive armor frame.

Tempious slammed to the wall as the creature began to gather electricity from its hand and Tempious began to spit out blood before punching it. The creature began to look at Tempious as his punch landed but it didn't flinch before tossing him to a nearby wall.

Tempious struggled to get up as his body suffers numerous wounds. The building begins to distort as the surroundings change. The creature begins to form something from the area: A long spear. Reality begins to distort as the room begins to change. The room slowly begins to change as the material is being replaced by unique material.

As reality begins to distort, Tempious begins to shoot knowing this would matter little. Before grabbing something from behind and stabbing it in the ground. As a unique frequency begins to play throughout the room.

The creature roared in pain as Tempious pulled the trigger which injured its arm. The creature realizing it couldn't heal begins to notice the large number of objects attached to the walls as it emitted a frequency.

Tempious finally speak, "So you finally notice you disgusting fuck. I booby-trapped this room with a frequency that basically stops your regeneration. So, now I wonder who will die first, you or I" In a cocky voice.

The creature begins to point out a finger before destroying the rifle.

Tempious rifle begins to disintegrate before his very hands leaving him weaponless.

"Well Shit", Tempious said in a rather hopeless tone

The creature begins to blast Tempious using its spear as balls of electricity begin to form.

Tempious begins to dodge as he digs through his bag before charging and tossing a vortex grenade. The creature didn't move until the vortex formed which it moved away to avoid it.

The creature begins to charge as it attempts to plunge its spear into Tempious. Tempious barely manages to dodge the onslaught of attack from the creature as it points its hand as an arc of electricity begins to form in the air.

Tempious pulled out a gravity grenade that he was cooking beforehand which forced him and the dragon to sustain severe damage due to the force. In the area that he was formerly in, An huge storm of emerald lighting emerges and incinerates the general area.

Tempious begins to pull himself up as he noticed his ribs and general organs are damaged albeit not heavily due to the armor. The creature gets up from the rubble before putting out its hand as the material from the area begins to flow to it. The visible damage begins to close as Tempious throws a grenade in response.

"Eat Shit, You fucking dragon", Tempious said before sticking the middle finger at it.

The creature looks down before noticing a bag of grenades on its feet as Tempious tosses them beforehand when he pulls out the gravity grenade. The Grenade eventually exploded and showered the dragon in an awe of the explosion of different kinds.

Tempious collapse on the floor as he begins to remove his armor. Tempious noticed a large portion of the armor had been pierced or destroyed as he wondered why it continued to work.

Tempious begins to fall on his knees as he begins to barf liters of blood as his internal organs are severely injured. Tempious begins to breathe as smoke emits from him as his numerous wounds begin to heal. Eventually, He got up before taking a look at the smoldering crater and sticking a middle finger.

Tempious reaches the airlock as Tempious begins to walk out of the building slowly but surely. The horde of corpses had stopped moving as the remaining ones had their bodies distorted and twisted barely resembling humans. Before leaving, he grab his gray card and place it with a similarly shaped card but black and blue.

Nearing the exit, Tempious sighed a moment of relief, "It's finally over".

A voice from the back of his head speaks, "I'm sorry to say Tempious, It isn't over". Tempious was alarmed as he lost control of his body. He wasn't able to move as the voice continued to speak, "You are truly a clever mortal however you made one mistake. You assumed that I could die". The creature mocks as he tries to fight for control but no matter how hard he tries he can't move.

The voice continues, "I was surprised, a mere mortal dare to challenge me. With my hubris & arrogance, you took advantage of that to slowly deal me a finishing blow. It was impressive". As the voice said in an impressive tone. "I would never attempt to do such a thing to take over a lowly mortal body before, however times had changed so desperate time calls for desperate measures like how you humans said it?"

"Your mind is suitable enough for me to inhabit but I'm going to make a few changes. As I access your mind, I'm slowly adapting your wisdom to my own. It's a shame, you wouldn't be there to see it after all I don't need you anymore", In a mocking tone, Tempious begins to grow dizzy as he feels himself sink. Slowly but surely his body was unable to do anything as it took over. Tempious tries to resist but eventually closes his eyes.

"Tempious" stood still as the unique material began to react. Fusing with his body, leading to major changes to his body as it resembled the creature beforehand but more human-like. As Tempious eventually begins to leave. A blue eye icon appears suddenly as it says, "Master Tempious…, No, who are you?" The AI stares at the figure resembling Tempious before it replies, "You are right, I'm not the being Tempious. I am the Dragon of Mars. I demand you AI activates protocol: Extermination; destination: All Mortal Lives. Passcode: ###########"

The AI begins to struggle before going cold as its eye shifts from its typical blue to a deep crimson red, "Protocol Extermination has been activated. Inputting command to all nearby units before universal broadcasting. Praise the Omnissiah!".

The AI begins to scream praise. As the dragon walks before floating forwards toward the main complex. It begins to chuckle, "It has finally begun. My return". As its voice can be heard from Tempious's mind.

He begins to sink as a splash forms from the surface

The castle that once floated in the sky had crumbled as it slowly sinks into the endless ocean that lies below

The water is cold to the touch as it surrounds me

Down he goes as he begins to sink further and further

As the Maws of the creature begin to laugh as he sinks further down

As the man tries to remember his name

"I am…"

Before being completely submerged. Occasionally, He caught glimpse of the horrors that awaits above. Death, Destruction, and Madness rain down on the planet as the red planet was dyed further red. Sometimes, He could see the people fighting. Sometimes, He could see death and destruction. Sometimes, He could see the suffering people. Many ages has past since he submerged yet it felt as if it was only a moment.

He was powerless to do anything. As he slumbers once more until… A distant light filled his eye. Ages have gone by but he will always remember that light. A light he was so familiar with that it disgusted him. He remembers the pain, the sorrow, and the torment that follows that light but he couldn't hate it after all it belongs to a…

What greeted his eye was something a sight to behold. There his body was laid down heavily injured as a golden figure that was covered in golden light. He could barely open his eyes as he lay there weak. Unable to speak as he witness someone he was so familiar with.

The golden figure speaks in a refined tone, "What madness possessed you to do such horrors? Tempious Maxious, The Once Great Man Called Master Engineer of the Adept Techno Mechanicals. You nowadays call yourself, "The Dragon of Mars" . I want to know why declaring war on humanity. I ask you why you did this", The figure's face was emotionless but you knew better as an aura of charisma begins to hit you. [However, It didn't really work for some reason?]

The being was once called Tempious speak, "I-i was once human before something took me over. I am not the same person as before. Please do what is right and seal me away. You know where it is", In a sorrowful and apologetic tone.

The golden figure made a notion to leave him and the being alone. As his companions begin to leave. His face begins to break as his expression was filled with sadness momentary before returning to normal.

The golden figure still stands as he lets the other who came with him exit the room, "I'm sorry, My old friend… I'm so sorry. The days went unnoticed before I caught wind of this fate. Even with the power I possess, I won't be able to interfere. Out of them all, you were always the most human… Therefore, I'm sorry.", You recognize the man as him. Your old friend and one of the only ones that remain.

Tempious barely holding on begins to speak, "It wasn't your fault. Sometimes, These things happen. I hope you understand My old friend. Now please seal me away. So once I awaken I may be able to help once again."

The golden figure begins to slowly cradle as he lifts him from the floor before going down deeper towards the ruins of the main containment faculty or more specifically, "The Noctis Labyrinth" as he descends downward from the ruins using a set of stairs. Before approaching a machine. It was a large machine made of incredible machinery and technology. Various wires and tubes stuck out of the side as the machines roared to life once activated. A large pod was open allowing space for one individual.

This machine was called Perpetual Torment. A specialized unit made specifically to contain a perpetual. The machine will extract the fluids of the individuals as various needles pierce the body and repump it so the individuals are slowly being drained to death before allowing it to reheal before starting a constant cycle. The body is also placed in a stasis field with various drugs being constantly pumped into the subject system to prevent awakening and making them disillusioned and disoriented. Should it detect any sort of psychic power, It would quickly turn it into either an oven or a freezer. Killing them before they eventually revived thus repeating the process until they were released. The machine would also harvest the bioelectricity of the individuals to allow itself to be manually powered by the individuals in case the power for the faculty goes offline.

The golden figure laid the figure to rest as the machine sprang to life as it pierce its flesh. Tempious went to sleep… never to be awoken again. Inside his mind, A grand battle between him and the dragon begins to play out unknownst to the rest of them.
