Sango quickened her pace when she saw her daughters digging holes in front of Kagome's hut. What has gotten into them?!
"Girls, what are you doing?!" She questioned alarmingly.
"Looking for a bone," one of them replied.
Just as Sango was about to ask for further explanation, Kagome walked from behind her hut.
"Sango? What's going on?" Kagome looked at the scene in confusion, although she found it quite amusing and endearing.
"Oh Kagome, I'm so sorry, I don't know what's gotten into them. They said they were looking for a bone." Sango looked positively embarrassed. "I'll have Miroku cover them when he and Inuyasha come back from the river."
"Oh, don't worry, Sango, I'll ask Inuyasha to do it," Kagome waved her hand dismissively, still amused at the scene unfolding in front of her eyes.
"I'm doing what?" Inuyasha asked as he and Miroku walked to the women, pails in hand, then looked at the children, "what the hell is going on?"
"I think they picked up some of your traits, my friend," the monk teased.
Inuyasha glared at Miroku while the women giggled, meanwhile the twins kept digging around.
"Girls, stop that!" Sango chided. Why are you looking for a bone?"
"Well," Gyobuto started, "yesterday afternoon when we came to invite Aunt Kagome for dinner, we heard her tell Uncle Inu to bury his lucky bone deep in her front yard at night."
"So we are trying to find it, we want good luck!" Kin'u added.
The unsuspecting twins watched in confusion as their parents burst into laughter, while their Aunt Kagome and Uncle Inuyasha turned a deep shade of red.
Adults made no sense!
