The cabin was about a 5 minute walk from the Mystery Shack. At first glance the cabin looked like it was abandoned for years, but there was subtle signs that someone or something was living in it.

"Ok, we need to find a way to get inside" Dipper said.

As Dipper turned away from the cabin to figure out what was the best way to enter, he heard glass being shattered. Dipper had turned to see one of the front windows broken and Mabel smiling while holding her grappling hook.

"I guess that works" Dipper said after the shock had worn off.

The twins carefully climbed through the window being mindful of the broken glass. The interior of the cabin was empty except for a burntout fireplace, a few shelves, and what looks like a makeshift bed. Right next to the front door was a red fox mask that was hanging on a coat rack.

On a shelf near the makeshift bed, Dipper had found both a bear plushie and a family photo. The bear was a golden yellow, wore a black top hat that had a purple ribbon, and a purple bowtie. Dipper swears that the bear's gaze is locked onto him. Trying to ignore the bear, Dipper turns his attention to the photo. The photo contains a family of 4: a man in a purple suit with an uncanny smile, a teenager that looks similar to the man but without the creepy smile and is wearing the same red fox mask on the coat rack, a little girl with reddish-blonde hair smiling, and a little boy in a striped shirt holding the same yellow bear plushie.

Dipper had felt something tap his shoulder and he turned around expecting it to be Mabel trying to scare him, but he saw that she was across the room messing around with the fox mask. A great sense of fear had washed over Dipper as he slowly moved his vision to the floor to only see what looks like a disembodied arm. The arm looked like it was off of an animatronic but at the end there was broken bone sticking out.

Dipper screamed as the arm had tried to lunge at him. Mabel had heard the commotion and ran off to grab a nearby board. The arm almost had lunged at Dipper again but it was hit away by Mabel and it hit the wall. Mabel had ran over to the arm and began smacking it with the board.

"DIE DIE DIE!" Mabel screamed as she hit the arm until it could no longer move.

"I think we should take the arm to show great uncle Ford and see if he knows anything about it" Dipper said after being shaken from the whole experience.

The twins weren't in the clear yet as the front door begins to open and in the doorway stood a tall, lanky figure. Dipper and Mabel stood in fear when they realized that the figure in the door was a purple zombie in what looked like a security officer's uniform that was lightly burnt.

Dipper and Mabel had started to scream, but the zombie said "I'm not going to hurt you."

"W-who are you a-and w-what are you?" Dipper stuttered.

"I'm Michael and I am or... at least once was a human" the zombie replied before sighing.

"You poor soul" Mabel quietly said, she then pulled Dipper to the side and whispered, "Dipper, we need to help him."

"Mabel are you crazy, how can we trust him?!?!" Dipper whispered back.

"Look, I think the only person who would be able to possibly help Michael is great uncle Ford." Mabel replied.

Dipper had thought over it for a bit and finally said, "Fine, but Grunkle Stan must never know. Who knows what will happen if he found out we brought back a zombie." Dipper had turned his attention to Michael and said, "We know someone who may potentially help you. Just follow us and we will explain more on the way."

"Just let me grab a couple of things first." Michael said. The twins watched as he grabbed a hooded jacket and the fox mask. After Michael had put both items on, he said "Ok, I'm now ready."
