TW: Blood
A young Ford is reading the newspaper that was dated for October 14, 1980 and notices a help wanted ad that had caught his attention. The ad is looking for someone to test out a new technology for the upcoming Fredbear's Family Diner. He had reached over to the phone on the desk and dialed in the phone number on the ad. The phone had taken about 30 seconds to ring before a voice had come on.
"You've reached Fredbear's Family Diner. This is William Afton, how may I help you?" The voice said
"Hello, I saw your ad about helping to test out a new technology that you're working on and I'm wondering about lending a helping hand." Ford replied.
"Finally, do you have anything to write the address down? We can meet there around 8pm." William said
Ford grabbed both a pen and paper to write down the address of where he was supposed to meet William.
At around 8 in the evening Ford had arrived at the address to see that above the main doorway is a sign with the restaurant's two mascot characters. The characters were of a bear and a bunny each with golden yellow fur. Both of them each wore a purple bowtie and the bear wore a tophat. Right under them read "Fredbear's Family Diner".
After a few moments looking at the sign, Ford had felt someone tap his shoulder. He had turned around to see a tall, lanky man who looked like he hadn't slept in a while.
"Are you Stanford Pines?" the man said.
"Yes, and I'm assuming you're William Afton," Ford replied.
"Correct, let's go inside to where my business partner is waiting." William said as he opened the main doors of the restaurant.
Ford had followed William through the dining room which was under construction to what looked like a backroom. In the backroom were two half-finished animatronics that had the same golden yellow fur as the mascots on the sign. Across the room there was a man who was looking at some blueprints.
"Stanford, this is Henry he is my business partner" William said
"Nice to meet you" Ford said as he shook Henry's hand. "So what is this technology that you guys need me to test out?"
"The technology we are working on are basically suits that can function as both animatronics and suits using different modes." Henry said as he pointed towards the animatronics, "We are calling them springlock suits."
"Interesting," Ford replied.
Ford had watched as William had walked over to the animatronics and took the left arm off of one of them. He had grabbed a wrench-like device and used it on the arm. A clicking sound came from the arm and it went limp.
"The springlocks should be in suit mode, just try not get any moisture on them because they'll snap back into their original place." William said as he handed Ford the arm.
Ford had slipped his arm into the empty animatronic arm. He felt as the metal parts of the springlocks lightly pressed against his skin.
"Ok, we need you to move your arm around a bit to see if we designed the springlocks correctly." William said.
Ford moved his arm back and forth as William took notes. Everything was going all smoothly until Ford accidently bumped his hand on a nearby shelf. A loud click came from inside the suit arm. Shortly after, Ford had felt as hundreds of tiny knives plunged into his arm.
Ford had become lightheaded as he saw that golden yellow fur of the arm piece was stained with the crimson red of his own blood. He began to lose his balance but was caught by Henry who had jumped from the chair he was sitting at.
"Will! We need to call an ambulance before he bleeds out!" Henry panicked
"How about we deal with this situation on our own," William said in a calm, somewhat cold manner.
"Are you crazy?!?!" Henry replied
Ford began to slip in and out of consciousness due to the amount blood he had lost. Eventually, Ford's vision was flooded entirely with darkness...
