SECRETLY UNMAGICIFIED

A Ben 10 X Mushoku Tensei crossover story. Genre: fantasy/ comedy. By Chris Chronos.

This will include cringey scenes and is written from Ben's perspective in a light-novel-ish style.

Thanks for reading.

Prologue

It was already late night when I was walking by a lake on the outskirts of Bellwood. I don't know why, I just felt like walking down the street with a smoothie in my hand. I forgot my jacket… So it was a bit cold. The cool winds tackled me from behind every two seconds. I felt like I was going to be frozen.

Above all, the smoothie I was drinking gave me a brain freeze.

"Hey, you."

I stopped my tracks and turned around as I heard a masculine voice.

"Yeah?"

I was not sure if he was calling me but I responded anyway. It would be embarrassing if he weren't. I didn't see him well in the faint moonlight. He wore a white uniform. He had a serious face as he glared daggers at me. He was handsome… No, I feel like "handsome" wouldn't be enough to describe his appearance.

There was nothing but awkward silence for a long time.

"... How can I help you?" I finally asked because he didn't talk for half a minute.

Come on, man. I've got jobs to do. To go to sleep already. That brain freeze was enough to make me suffer.

"I've been looking for you…" he said with the same serious face. "I came from another universe."

I blinked. "Excuse me?"

"You are Ben Tennyson, right?"

"Yeah, I am—"

"My name is Anos Voldigoad. You've been being a threat to the order of magic and space-time lately… so I am here to finish you for good!"

I raised my brows. What's with this guy? A… schizo? An escapee from a mental hospital? A salty sci-fi fan?

"Another universe… magic… space-time," I muttered to myself.

Above all, I don't know what kind of name Anos Voldigoad is.

"Your time's up!" He said.

"Yes," I nodded to him. "Please excuse me then. I wanna sleep already."

I decided to leave the schizo guy alone and turned around, beginning to walk away.

"You are going nowhere!" He yelled.

"Just what the heck do you want! — oh…"

I felt a sting in my chest… so I looked down at myself. There was a weird, large black blade going through my body. And blood… I felt like all the blood in my chest had vaporated.

Is this some sort of a prank? I was at a loss for words…

At that moment, a mirror-like wall appeared some meters from me, and… a guy who had the exact same face as mine walked out. He wore a grey shirt underneath a black vest and black pants.

He widened his eyes as he saw us. At this point, my vision was slowly faltering.

"Uh, you seriously stabbed him?" He asked. His voice was also the same as mine!

"I… sure did," Anos Voldigoad answered. "Wait, there are two of you…"

"Yep, he is… technically my parallel version but he has nothing to do with me."

"So I stabbed the wrong person!?" Anos Voldigoad realized he made a mistake. But it didn't matter anymore.

I noticed my fingers were slowly turning into dust… and blown away. Then my entire hands vanished into the air.

What is going on?

"Sorry, man," the guy with my face said. "I am the one he wanted to kill."

"It seems we made a mistake," Anos Voldigoad said.

You son of a bitc—

"What the fu—"

My vision completely blacked out. And I lost connection with the outside world. It seemed I had lost my consciousness.

Maybe… I am dead.

A random crazy guy showed up, drew a weird sword out of nowhere, and stabbed me. Now I am dead. I also encountered another crazy man with my face, who was supposed to be in my place. Screw all that shit, now what? What's next?

All I wanted was a cold smoothie late at night. I know it was partly my fault since I went out.

Now my life is over.

"Your life is not over yet."

That voice… exactly sounded like my own. It kind of woke up my senses. I felt like my body was floating in zero gravity. I don't understand, there was no noise. Nothing but peace and quiet. This feeling was addictive, yeah it would go well with a smoothie.

"Wake up already!" I felt a weak kick on my back.

Am I not dead? Wait, that kick… Am I in hell? Kicking hell? I've never heard of it.

I opened my eyes, then consequently struggled in the air before meeting with whatever was below me.

"Ouch…" I uttered.

"Finally…" the voice that sounded like me said.

Hey, I can feel my limbs and my body!

My eyes quickly scanned the surroundings and found I was in some kind of… space? I mean, there were shining stars and even galaxies in the background and the… sky. I could see all those. The floor that was supporting me was just a small circular stage.

"Where am I?" I muttered to myself.

"You are in the pocket dimension," a voice that sounded like a middle-aged male answered. "Tch, why would these kids hold a gathering inside the court dimension?"

I turned around to see the source of the voice — and flinched at the scene.

There were two big green faces, without eyes. They were just two faces… because I could recognize they were. But they didn't really have mouths or teeth. The one on the left was a middle-aged man's face with wrinkles and the other on the right was a kind-looking female face.

Then there also were four people floating some meters before me. They weren't standing on the floor like me. So I felt I was the odd one out here.

The problem is, all those four looked like me — albeit a bit different, like some of them looked older than the others.

The first one was supposedly in his early 20s and wore a green jacket with a 10 symbol on the left side of its front.

The second one wore a black long coat with green linings.

The third had the same jacket as the first, and a small metallic shield with a green gem in the center, on his right forearm.

The last one had a monstrous left arm made of scary inhuman skin portions. He also had flames coming out of his left shoulder. He wore a black shirt (which lacked a left sleeve) and a grey vest over it. I recognized him to be the one who showed up when that son of a bitc— killed me.

"Who are you guys?" I questioned. "Why do you have my face!?"

"I am you," the shield guy said with a smile. "We all are the same person."

"I don't think I want to be the same person with a wimp," the black-coat Ben coldly said.

"Technically we are the same person," another Ben claimed. "But literally, we aren't."

"Because we came from different timelines, maybe of different universes," Ben with a monstrous arm explained. "We are the same person but we have different lives and experiences, which is why we are different in more than one way."

"The only thing we have in common is," the shield guy added. "Our faces."

"And the name, Benjamin Kirby Tennyson," the plain guy said. The "plain" guy means that Ben guy in a green jacket but without a shield.

All of them explained it to me, one after another taking turns. But they all shared the same voice and face so I felt like I was hallucinating.

But… the way they dressed described their personality well enough. The plain guy is just plain, and the guy with the shield was also… plain? These two wore similar jackets and showed similar attitudes. Kindness.

The one in the black coat was a little edgy? Or something like that.

The fourth guy was… I don't know, he looked unique. It was like he had the one trait the other Bens didn't possess.

"What exactly are you guys? My doppelgangers?"

I haven't watched enough sci-fi movies to understand what was going on.

"You know about the multiverse, right?" The black-coat guy asked.

"Kind of." (me)

"That saves us some time. We all are different versions of Ben Tennyson across the multiverse," Ben with an amalgamated arm explained. "I am from Dimension 2041 so you can call me Ben 2041."

"And I am Ben 2040," the shield Ben introduced himself, raising his shield. "As you can see, I am a Shield Hero."

"Shield hero… oh, okay," I didn't really get it but I nodded anyway.

"You can just call me Bad Ben," the black-coat Ben coldly said. "I am the God of my timeline."

"..."

A god? Oh, um… well, forget it. This shit can't get weirder.

"I am from dimension 69," the plain Ben said. "So you can call me Ben 69."

Sixty-nine… I couldn't help but giggle, f(censored) my dirty mind. Ben 69 sighed but said nothing.

"What's my number?" I curiously asked.

"You are Ben 2022," Ben 2041 replied with a smile. "You are our senior, in a way."

I don't know better than you guys, please spare me that title. "So why am I here? Am I dead, right?"

I should've asked this question in the first place.

"It's my fault that you died," Ben 2041 said. "So I want to give you… compensation."

Dude… I f(censored)ing died! Just what kinda nonsense did I get myself into!? I rolled my eyes and shrugged my shoulders, turning my gaze at the three Bens behind the 2041 guy.

"And what's that you're going to give me?"

Ben 2040 patted 2041's shoulder and motioned him to step back.

"I will explain…"

I don't know what shit he is going to tell me.

"Every Ben in the multiverse… has a task to carry."

He paused. I raised my brows, looking at him who was checking on me if I was giving attention or not before continuing his explanation.

"... To maintain the order of space and time in the multiverse."

Again, space and time?

"Ben 2041 here," Bad Ben interrupted. "He is especially an interdimensional protector for the entire Kamen Anime multiverse."

"Kamen what?"

"A multiverse resulting from fusing two separate multiverses, Kamen Rider and Anime," 2041 answered.

Yep, I've never heard of them. I don't wanna stretch this out now so I guess I will shut my mouth. What I understood from 2040's explanation was that all other versions of myself had an important job, implying I was the odd one out there.

This could go two ways — perhaps they were going to assign me to respective tasks, or perhaps they wouldn't because one of them accidentally killed me.

"So what do you want me to do?"

"You will reincarnate in a unique world," Ben 69 said with a grin. "You can rest and have fun there while we are working for your share."

His expression. I smell trouble in his words.

"No, thanks?" (me)

"Sadly, it's already decided, Ben Tennyson," the large green male face interrupted me. "Ahem, I mean, Ben 2022."

"Uh, it's compensation for me, right? Why do I have no say in this?" I complained.

"It's for your own good," the green female face answered my complaint. "I swear it would be… a good new life."

Like hell, I'm not going to trust a group of weirdos I just met. I facepalmed.

"That world is so peaceful," Ben 69 said. "I would love to go there in your stead if I weren't so busy with my own world."

Well, if I am going to reincarnate, I think I want to be reborn in a peaceful world. It's not like America wasn't peaceful. But the entire world was full of bullshit. Also, those greedy humans and manipulative psychopaths who controlled the wars resulted in millions of casualties. How despicable — I clenched my fists hard, but I couldn't do anything. I was a pathetic powerless smoothie addict.

"At least…" I muttered subconsciously. "I want to be reborn as someone powerful enough to protect the ones he loves."

I noticed the weirdos were staring at me with weird expressions on their faces.

"What?" (me)

"Your wish is granted then," the green male face suddenly said. "It may be a bit late to introduce myself but I am Bellicus, one of the voices of Alien X."

"And I am Serena, the voice of love and compassion of Alien X," the green female face introduced herself. "Worry not, we two are part of every single Ben Tennyson across the multiverse."

It raised a lot of questions.

How was my wish granted? What is Alien X? The voice of love and compassion? Her name sure suggested the meaning though. Above all, they are part of… me?

"I don't think I am following what you said."

"You will be," Ben 69 said.

"In the future, that is," the shield Ben chuckled. "We all had been confused by their words but it took time to understand them."

"These two are overprotective as always," Bad Ben said, shooting a glare at the two voices.

I don't know what is happening but I feel like this is turning into something of a family drama or a superhero story that uses the power of friendship.

"... um, okay," but I didn't complain.

Ben 2041 opened his palm and snapped his fingers. A green energy ball appeared in his palm and then vanished into the air, revealing a weird device in its place. It was a small black bracelet with a green-black… hourglass-like symbol. The symbol existed somewhere on the strap. As small as it looked, it also had a mysterious and curious aura attracting me.

"For you."

He shoved the "device" at me so I opened my palm to accept it but I didn't really know what it was.

"What is this?" I questioned as the device landed in my hand.

"The Omnitrix," he answered. "A customized one."

Customized or not, I don't know what an Omnitrix is.

"Um, what?" I asked impatiently.

"A watch that heroes wear," Bellicus stated. "A device that grants you the power to protect the weak and fight the bad."

"Oh."

Maybe I should keep it at that.

No sooner had I placed it on my left wrist than it wrapped itself around my wrist and with a "click," it attached itself to my flesh.

"Is this thing… safe?" I said out of anxiety.

Bad Ben raised his left wrist and revealed the device on it, which had a bigger square-shaped faceplate and a large green-black symbol.

Ben 2040 and Ben 69 also showed their Omnitrixes (?) (I don't know what's its plural form.) which are similar to Bad Ben's.

Ben 2041, however, raised both his wrists. And with two flashes of green light, an Omnitrix with a square faceplate appeared on the right wrist, and another with a circular core showed up on the left. Then another Omnitrix symbol materialized on his belt.

So that brat has three f(censored)ing Omnitrixes.

"It is perfectly safe," Ben 2041 claimed.

"If you ignore the fact that 2041 got his arm mutated because of it," Bad Ben remarked.

I flinched and widened my eyes in horror.

"Don't get so tense, he's fooling around with ya," Ben 2040 said.

"Hmm, there is an archenemy of all Ben Tennyson — Eon, on the loose," Bellicus said. "But don't worry."

"Ben Prime is up to the task of hunting him down to prevent another time war," Serena sighed. "It's the least of our concerns."

Eon? Ben Prime? Time war? Every minute, I hear new things I don't understand. But I guess it's okay as long as it doesn't concern me.

"So what does this— Omnitrix do?"

"It rewrites your DNA and transforms you into another species when you command it," Ben 2041 explained.

"Sounds painful," I mumbled.

"Rest assured, it all happens in a split second," Ben 69 said.

"Oh…"

"Time's up, boys," Serena alerted us. "He's got a long journey to go on. Let's wish the best for him."

The stage where I was standing suddenly glowed brightly, with weird magic circles appearing around me.

"What's going on?"

"You have to go to the designated world to reincarnate as a new life," Bellicus said. "Your memory will be retained so rest assured, Tennyson."

I'd rather have them deleted for good.

A mirror-like wall materialized and the Ben gang flew toward the wall.

"Um, guys?" I called them out. They looked back at me with disinterested expressions. Those bastards…

"There will be smoothies, right?"

"Sadly, no," Ben 2041 answered coldly and disappeared into the wall.

"No, no, wait!—"

"Have a nice trip!" Ben 69 said.

"I fail to see how it'd be nice," Bad Ben said and flew into the wall.

Oh, shit… Am I getting into another pile of shit?

I was engulfed by a bright green light, completely and my vision had gone blank.

"Here we go again," were the last words I mumbled in disappointment.

CHAPTER 1: WATCHLESS REINCARNATION WITH A WATCH

The author made a speech and it's noted after the chapter. Don't forget to check it out after reading!

I am dead. But I reincarnated. As you can see, I am not dead!

I opened my eyes only to see the ceilings. The room was faintly lighted with two large candles on the table just next to the bed I was lying on. Under my head was a large book, somehow used as a pillow to support my neck.

No, maybe I fell asleep midway while reading through it. I extended my hand upward, to see them really small. I was still growing, yeah.

Because I was only 3 years old at that time.

But looking at the reflections of my own in the mirror, I think... I look like my old self before death. Ha, this is ironic. I have green eyes and brown hair. And some facial features greatly resemble Ben Tennyson. A 3-year-old version, of course.

Not gonna lie, I reincarnated into a peaceful family of three in a village. Well, I can hear my parents having sex occasionally at night but that doesn't bother me. Peace is just peace.

But what's f(censored)ed up is this world.

The world where magic is real. The world where creatures I don't recognize exist. As far as I'm concerned, everything is unpredictable. Even my parents know magic - my father is a skilled swordsman and my mother is a retired adventurer. I learned those facts as I lived with them. I often see my father practicing with his sword and showing off his skills to ladies in the village.

Above all, they don't speak English. Yet I somehow understood their words the moment I heard them. No, no, I am no genius. Perhaps it was a miracle. Perhaps some factors helped me learn it really fast. I'm glad that I've got such learning skills and a "big" brain.

Now I can read and write in their language although I don't know what it is called till today.

Ha, my monologues are all over the place. Maybe we should proceed with the story.

The book I was reading was one of the books I found in a room in our house. I suppose they were my parents' books.

It's so damn dull for a grown-up to grow up as a child again, especially when your memories are kept undeleted. So I entertain myself by reading all day. My parents were so overjoyed when they found out I could read and write... so they didn't restrict me from reading.

Sometimes when I got absorbed into the books and read late at night, my unfortunate self would accidentally hear my parents having sex - maybe it is a form of torture inflicted upon me by this world. I usually call it a day and sleep when I hear them doing the act.

Anyway, these magic books are pretty interesting. I have tested out some of them. But I also have something more interesting than the magic spells. Let me demonstrate what's interesting.

I yawned as I sat up on my bed. Then I pulled the big book over and opened it to see the page I wished to read.

"Omnitrix," I mentally called it out. "Scan the page right now."

"Right away, sir," a pleasant female voice responded to my command... in my head.

It is... the Omnitrix! The artificial intelligence of the Omnitrix, to be exact. It answers to my commands and follows my orders - so when I want to keep some pages in my memory, I order the Omnitrix to scan the pages and keep copies of them on its hard disk.

Normally, it would lie on my left wrist as a bracelet. But even since I reincarnated, it concealed its presence inside a pocket dimension and linked itself with my mind and body. Cliched, indeed.

Yeah, this is how it works. As far as I know.

I feel back for hiding it from my parents but… AI suggested it, too so…

A light ray escaped the bracelet on my left wrist and made contact with the page, then many holographic rays followed and scanned the page in seconds.

"Task accomplished, sir."

"Good Omnitrix," I mentally replied and closed the book before blowing out the candles.

Then I rested my head on the thick book, lying in the bed, and closed my eyes tight. "Now show me those pages you just scanned."

"As you wish, sir."

Yeah, it's all dark and peaceful— I could hear the moans, sadly. But it's really a comfortable mood to concentrate my mind on it. Studying magic, that is.

The scanned words appeared in my head, like holographic screens. I read through them as I relaxed my other senses. I felt like I never read books this much throughout the entirety of my previous life. Forget it, who cares about my past?

Water-shooting spell… This reminds me of the species list the Omnitrix provided me.

"Omnitrix." (me, thought)

"Standing by, sir."

"Could you show me that list again? That species list."

The "species list" specifically refers to the organized list of the species I can transform into.

Another screen popped up in my mind— and yeah, I was right. There is a species called Orishan and another called Cascan, that have the abilities related to water. Could be referred to as hydrokinesis. So far I have only tested out a few of them. So there should be a lot more on the list that can use water as a weapon.

Well, they number 1,000,920. Or even more.

I closed the pop-up and continued reading the magic text. Hmm… interestingly enough, it said you need to visualize the magic in your mind then the result will materialize in the real world. Apparently, you need to chant the spells to make it work properly.

The resulting magic is also directly proportional to one's magical energy — mana. But it also relies upon one's imagination. If it were the old me, I would probably drop it before even trying it out once because I didn't get along with my imagination. I did have some sort of eidetic memory. And in return, I could only give poor results when it came to fantasizing things up.

Now that I became a baby again, my young brain sure had great potential in thinking things out, partly because I am still an innocent child.

Let's see… I will visualize a ball of water floating in the air and chant the incantations.

"Um… Let the great protection of water be on the place you seekest. I call a refreshing, burbling stream here and now. Water Ball?"

Visualize it! Let your creativity go wild!

Hmm… Did I do it?

I opened my eyes… then was surprised at the scene above me. It was a large ball of water floating above my body, viewed in the faint light.

"Wow… I did it…"

I wonder where the magic extracted this water ball…

And then I couldn't hold it anymore and it fell onto my body.

"Ah, shit, now I am wet."

My clothes and my lower body were soaked wet with water.

"Bookmark that one, Omnitrix."

"Recognized, sir."

I should test out the spells and keep them on my sleeve. Magic can be pretty handy at times…

Guess I will go to sleep now.

-(BREAK)-

Apart from magic, I also explore the capabilities of the Omnitrix when I am alone. Yes, I have to look out so my parents and our maid are not nearby.

Currently, I am inside a storage room of our house.

The notable features of the Omnitrix are the AI that can analyze the environment when I order it to, a function that can rewrite my DNA signatures so that I can transform into non-human species, and gender conversion.

Today I found a new feature called — DNA presets.

"What's this?"

I saw two preserved DNA files that were marked as "Past Life" and "Current Life." I didn't understand what exactly it meant but I didn't feel good about it. Maybe I should test it to know how it works. I have a glimpse of what current life means.

"Omnitrix. I want to try out this one."

"Command recognized, sir."

No sooner did I hear its response than my body was engulfed in green light. I felt stings and pain all over my body for a split second.

"Ah…"

My voice… doesn't sound like a child anymore. It sounded like me…

"Hmm…" I looked down at my hands and my body which looked like a teenager's. "Did I just grow up?"

I sure did. And my uniform was similar to the one which other Bens wore. A green jacket over a black shirt, and blue pants. Pretty modern.

"Omnitrix, mirror please."

"Right away, sir."

A holographic vertical wall appeared in front of me, which showed the reflection of my entire body. Hmm, I looked the same as how I was in my previous life. But as much as I loved to stay in this body, it would be troublesome if I did. So I commanded the Omnitrix to revert me to my current form. A child.

But I think that one DNA file would be useful at certain times.

"Okay, uh, transform me into Swampfire," I said out loud.

"Voice command recognized."

So I can speak to it verbally, huh… Noted.

Swampfire. The species' name is Methanosapien but it seems other versions of myself love to name the "forms" they transform into. And it's said in the database that he is called "Swampfire" by most versions of Ben. So I decided to call it that.

Among the species I can transform into, Swampfire is the only one I've already gotten accustomed to. Other species are, well, different sizes and weird non-human shapes which make it difficult for me to control. But Swampfire is humanoid and… usable enough? It also has super strength, I guess.

I looked down at my body after transformation and then stared into the mirror at my own reflection. I now have mint and black skin and a green, black hourglass symbol on my torso. My forearms are a little thicker than my upper arms but it doesn't really bother me. My head… looks like a flaming man, like… uh, I don't even know how to describe it. Oh, yeah, my face is black, my eyes are green with black slits. I don't have a nose, though.

There are a few muddy appendages sticking out of my forearms.

"It says… this one has— firepower? What does it even mean?"

My voice also sounded like a totally different person.

Firepower… Am I supposed to exhale fire through my mouth? I opened my palms and raised them near my face. Then I inhaled and exhaled heavily, hoping flames would fly out of my mouth.

No, they didn't. Nothing really happened.

Oh, now that I noticed them, my hands got pores in their palms. Flamethrowers? I held my hands out and squeezed something out of them — a gas? I didn't know what kind of gas it was but flames followed it and started burning brightly.

"Wow… It's cool," I said to myself. "Hmm, how far can I— oh, shit!"

When I noticed it, the wall of the storage room caught fire! I was too focused on this so I didn't— whatever, I must extinguish this before it makes me homeless!

"Die! Die! Die, fire!"

I mumbled nonsense as I slapped the wall in order to kill the fire but… it didn't really work. The fire began to spread on the wall, already bigger than my hands.

I raised my legs again and kicked the fire. I didn't know! I panicked and desperately tried to put it out. But… I could feel my house shaking with every kick I made. And finally, the wall was destroyed, with a big hole in it. But sadly, it didn't blow out the flames.

Holy… Oh, didn't I learn water magic the last night?

"Omnitrix, show it to me!"

"Understood."

A screen showing the incantations to cast the water-ball magic appeared in my vision. I hastily reached out and said the chants.

"Let the great protection of water! — huh?!"

Suddenly, a large water ball (larger than the one I could produce yesterday) appeared before I finished chanting, and flew toward the wall, putting out the fire while going through the hole. But as collateral damage, nearly the entire wall was destroyed.

"Oh… mom's not gonna like this," I muttered to myself.

"Dear, did you hear that!?" It was my mother shouting.

"What's going on?!" And this is my father.

"Young master is upstairs! We must check on him!" And this is the maid, Lilia.

This is a bigger problem.

"Omnitrix!" I whispered. "Turn me back!"

"Understood."

I was engulfed in a flash of bright green light yet again.

The door opened and the three grown-ups of my family entered the room. Thankfully, I canceled my transformation in time. But… I have a problem now.

"What happened!?" My father came in, yelling.

"Matteo! Are you okay?!"

As soon as mother saw me, she rushed to me and embraced me in her arms.

And yes, Matteo is my name. Matteo Greyrat. And here's my mother— Zenith.

Zenith is a beautiful woman who I suppose is in her early 20s. Just how old was she when she gave birth to me?! She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Well, now I can shout "Yay, my mother is beautiful" or such childish stuff.

"Was it a monster?" My father muttered, looking through the destroyed wall.

He was half-naked, maybe he had run here from sword practice. He even had a sheathed sword attached to his belt. And his name is Paul.

Paul, however, seems to be older than Zenith. Hmm, 5 years gap or so is my best guess. He has light brown hair and a tall, muscular body. He is a handsome man with a mole near his left eye.

Uh, forget that narration for a moment. How could I explain this situation to them?!

"What happened, Matty?" My mother said.

The eyes of the three were all focused on me. With the intense pressure set on me, I felt cold sweats running down my back. I gulped and made the most dumb-looking face I could make.

"Um, I found a spell in your books… and said it out loud. Water boomed out of nowhere and…"

I looked at the three who were staying silent as they were staring at me. What, did I succeed in fooling them? Did I not? Technically, I said nothing wrong.

"What magic did you use?" My mother said.

"... water… ball?" I hesitantly answered.

"Oh, it's a beginner-level spell but…"

My parents looked at each other. Then suddenly, my mother started jumping in joy…

"Did you hear that, dear?!"

I looked back at my father who seemed to be anxious about it. On the contrary, my mother was clearly thrilled by my achievement.

"Oh, I knew our boy was a genius, but… I never expected this!"

"Wait, hold on, um…"

"We'll have to hire a tutor for him right away! Oh, he's going to grow up to be an amazing magician, I just know it!"

Yeah, I don't like this kind of development. My father was still at a loss. So I turned my gaze at Maid Lilia for backup. She silently watched the ruckus my parents caused.

"Honey, let's head into Roa tomorrow and post a job for a tutor!" My mother said. "We need to make sure Matty can hone his talents!"

I facepalmed. Unfortunately, no one saw my expression at that time. Her reaction was exactly the same when she found out I learned to read and speak in a short time. Are all parents like this?

Uh, no, probably not. My father begs to differ.

"Honey, we have to get him a home tutor!" Mother said. "I'm sure we'll be able to find a great magic instructor in Roa!"

Father was less enthusiastic about it. "Hold up, now. Didn't you promise that if we had a boy, we'd raise him to be a knight?"

"But he can do intermediate magic at his age!" (Mother)

"A promise is a promise."

"You're one to talk! You break yours all the time!"

Okay, my parents arguing against each other is so rare that I've never seen this kinda scene in my life before. They didn't really fight in a span of three years — as far as I know. Maybe they love each other so much.

Now they are fighting over me so I feel a little guilty for it.

"Why not teach him magic in the morning and swordsmanship in the afternoon?"

Lilia the maid said a suggestion and left us behind in the room.

Looking back at my parents who were holding hands, I internally sighed.

"It's not good to fight in front of the baby, dear," mother said.

"I guess not," father replied.

And so, with the suggestion of Lilia, Zenith and Paul came to a conclusion and decided to hire a home tutor for me.

Guess I have no say in my affairs… yet again.

-(TRANSITION)-

A few days later after the water booming incident.

I had mastered the pyrokinesis of Swampfire and afterward, learned that he has other unique abilities - plant manipulation and vine-seed production. So with the aid and advice of the Omnitrix, I tried to figure out how those abilities worked and succeeded in a short time.

Apparently, the Omnitrix also contains a feature that helps me learn really fast about how the chosen species works. Just like that, when I produce methane and unleash flames from my hands, I don't need to concentrate much to do it. I mean, I feel like I've always been Swampfire.

But similar to how humans have to learn how to walk before they independently do, methanosapien babies might have to learn how their body parts work.

Now I am standing in Swampfire form, behind our house.

"Alrighty, we will test out these skills," I murmured to the Omnitrix. "I'm counting on ya."

"Voice command recognized," the Omnitrix AI's feminine voice announced. "Alarm system activated."

Whatever. Her voice is kinda cute.

Mentally concentrating, I created a few vine seeds in my hands, from my body.

The first step is completed!

Now it's the second step. I carefully dropped the seeds onto the ground and waited for a few seconds— until a small number of vine plants grew out of the seeds and crawled on the ground.

I don't know how this will be handy.

"Diamondhead… Diamondhead…" I searched through the lists. "Okay, I wanna try this one. Diamondhead."

Petrosapien. Nicknamed Diamondhead by Ben Tennysons.

With a flash of green light, I transformed into this specific alien. Diamondhead. He has a bulky body built of diamond-like greenish-blue crystals. According to the stats, they are some silicon substances and are naturally very tough. Again, his forearms look a little larger than his biceps.

"This one looks sick," I muttered to myself. "Okay, what can this one… Crystalokinesis?"

By definition, crystalokinesis is the ability to manipulate crystals. Similar to telekinesis. Hmm, it's pretty obvious with this kind of crystalline body, indeed.

"Alright!"

I reached out and aimed my hands at the tree nearby.

"I don't need to chant, right?" I murmured. Then…

Come on! I tried to squeeze the crystals out of my hands.

[CHOP—]

The trunk of the tree was cut into two parts and fell to the ground.

"Oh…"

I was astonished and speechless. This one is dangerous. Maybe I should keep this one as the last resort.

I transformed back to Swampfire and walked up to the tree. Then I lifted the fallen part and fused it with the rest of the trunk to make a brand new tree.

Plant manipulation. Thankfully, it let me heal the tree, alongside the vines attached to the trunk near the bruise to support it from falling again. Now all the evidence that I chopped a tree was hidden perfectly— I noticed a crystal piece embedded in a large boulder behind the tree.

"Matty! Your tutor will arrive home soon! Get ready!"

Oh, that's my mother.

"Matty, where are you?! Matteo?!"

I hastily reverted to human form and ran into the house.

"I'm here, mom!"

Okay, that's only a crystal piece so nobody will find me out, right?

Home tutor to teach me magic, huh… I wonder what kind of person they are. Magic reminds me of Harry Potter… Maybe someone like Harry Potter? Someone who likes nerdy styles and spectacles? My parents think the tutor would be a retired adventurer.

My parents said they could afford to hire a mage— and since there was no inn around, the tutor would likely live with us. Sure, we've got some empty rooms so this shouldn't be a problem.

I was carried by my mother in her arms when we welcomed the one who accepted the tutor job.

"Uh…" I uttered quietly.

The one who arrived was a young girl who looked like 10. She had pale skin and long blue hair tied into two braids. She wore a mage hat and robes. Her overall fashion screams she is a mage. And her half-opened eyes even looked somewhat sleepy.

"I'm Roxy. It's a pleasure to meet you."

No, no, I should probably NOT judge someone by their appearance.

I shot a glance at the suitcase she carried in one hand, and the staff (the one that magicians use in fantasy movies) she held in another. No doubt, she is a mage for sure.

"..." "..."

My parents, however, looked her over in silence. They didn't expect a girl this young to apply for my tutor, I suppose.

At that moment, a notification from the Omnitrix popped up in my mind.

"Sir," the Omnitrix said in my mind.

"Yep, what's it? Is there any problem?" It was all of a sudden so it got me a little worried.

"Yes, I wish to warn you that this female creature is not a member of homo sapiens."

I narrowed my eyes at the girl and checked her from head to toe. Hmm… Apart from her eyes and hair color, I saw nothing wrong.

The girl caught me checking on her so she gave me a suspicious glare back.

"How old is she?" I asked the Omnitrix.

"Estimated to be 40, sir."

I widened my eyes and swallowed a gulp— Damn, it's true. Appearance can be deceiving.

"Oh, uh, are— are you the home tutor?"

My mother finally said, breaking the awkward silence.

"Aren't you a little, uh…" (Father)

"Dad…" I stopped him before he said something he shouldn't.

"Keep her DNA," I commanded the Omnitrix.

"Understood."

"So, where's this student of mine?" Roxy questioned us as she looked around.

"Ah, it's this child."

Mother said, raising me a bit. I stared at Roxy silently waiting for her reaction.

She widened her eyes and let out a sigh.

"Haaa. I guess it happens from time to time, huh, that there are idiot parents who think their child has talent after growing slightly…" she quietly complained.

It can't be helped… It is a bit unrealistic to say after all. Also, we can't be sure I am "unique." It's not like I've met other kids my age.

I am 3. Don't expect me to walk around the neighborhood on my own and scout if some kids can do magic.

"Is there any problem?" Mother said.

"It's nothing. However, I think that child of yours doesn't understand the concept of magic, right?"

"It's fine. Our Matty here is very talented!"

I rolled my eyes and sat back. Roxy sighed again.

"Haa, I understand. I'll try my best."

It seems to me that she has come here without knowing her student is me. She has given up against my parents though.

Soon, my schedule had become packed with Magic lessons by Roxy in the morning and sword lessons by Father in the afternoon. How troublesome— but judging from the nature of this world, knowing Magic and swordsmanship would help me live comfortably in this world. So I'm not going to complain…

And Roxy started living with us.

-(SKIP)-

In the courtyard were Roxy the teacher and I, the student. Guess she doesn't want to break anything in the house.

"Well, let's start from the magic textbook… No, before that, let's test how much magic you can use, Matty."

"Let me demonstrate first," she said and started chanting the incantations.

"Let the great protection of water be on the place you seekest. I call a refreshing, burbling stream here and now…

WATER BALL!"

Oh, that simple beginner-level spell I used before. Would be pretty easy.

No sooner did Roxy recite the spell than a basket-ball-sized water ball was formed in her hand.

Wow… such good control over one's own Magic.

Then it flew toward a tree in the courtyard, at a high speed, and snapped its trunk into two parts.

I remembered Diamondhead's crystal cutting a tree in the backyard. I had to heal it via Swampfire's plant manipulation… Plants in the yard were grown by my mother after all.

"How's that?"

"Astounding, Miss. But you'd want to repair that plant. Mom's not gonna like it."

"Eh, really?!"

"Sh…" I placed my forefinger on my lips, making a childish pose. "Just do it."

I don't really know but the last time Father accidentally chopped a tree down, he got a mad scolding.

I sat my butt down on a wooden chair as I watched her hastily reconnecting the two parts of the tree and healing it to its former state— even causing it to bloom.

I gave her a silent thumbs-up when she walked back to me.

"Now Matty, try that spell, Water Ball."

"Um. Okay."

I stepped forward, ordering the Omnitrix—

"Hey, show me the incantations for the water ball."

"But, sir, you could do it without the incantations."

I internally chuckled. "You don't need to tell me."

"My apologies. I will give you the scanned documents."

I looked back at Roxy. "I say the incantations because I think it's cooler with them."

And again, I don't really bother to memorize the chants. Silly me.

The scanned pages about the water-ball spell appeared in my vision. I held my hands out, aiming at the sky, so as to not accidentally destroy the plants.

"Let the great protection of water be on the place you seekest. I call a refreshing, burbling stream here and now.

WATER BALL!"

As my chanting ended, a big water ball I visualized appeared before me and shot off at a high speed, into the sky.

"You are… pretty good at it," she commented.

"Really?"

When I looked back at her, she averted her gaze away from me. I don't know what she is thinking… really.

"Yeah, not bad for a child."

"Thank you," I quietly replied.

"Now then, let's hurry to the next spell…"

In the afternoon, I have to train with my father. He will teach me about swordsmanship—

"I have advice for you, sir, related to the arts of sword."

The Omnitrix suddenly spoke up while I was preparing to go meet Paul.

"What advice?" I said out loud and then realized it and covered my mouth.

"Among the different versions of Ben, Ben 2042 is extremely talented when it comes to swords."

Bruh, am I going to get out of the shadows of my fellow Bens?

"I haven't met Ben 2042."

"Yes, sir, he was so busy with his work as a president of his world."

I blinked. Damn, these guys… Am I a failure as a Ben Tennyson?

"Oh…"

"Therefore, he contributed his sword techniques to the database."

So I can learn them if I want huh… "We will try it another time."

"Understood."

I am only 3 years old. Please don't make a swordsman out of me already.

Later Paul really trained the shit out of me. I had to start with basic physical training to strengthen my small body. My parents are pushy as always.

According to Father, getting my body used to moving was the first priority.

Dads are dads…

According to the info, I have gathered, apparently, using magic causes one's energy to exhaust. So I've been eating too much to fill myself up — so much that the Omnitrix lady scolds me to not each more, haha.

-(TRANSITION)-

"Grr…" (quiet growls)

I can't speak anymore. My biology now lacks organs that can produce sounds enough to verbally communicate. Instead, I can growl really loudly— I am keeping it down to not accidentally alarm my parents.

I can't see either. Don't think I am helpless just because I don't possess vision. I have strong-smelling organs on my neck that can allow me to see my surroundings in a 3D style so… my senses are even sharper and better now.

And my body looks fairly dog-like. I don't have a tail but I mostly walk on four. I have a super-big carnivorous mouth with giant fangs sticking out.

Guess what? I am trying out a dog-like species— Vulpimancer, also called Wildmutt by Ben Tennysons. This one is my fourth after Swampfire, Diamondhead, and Humungousaur. The third one is a little gigantic so I had to avoid that one for now. It's not like Humungousaur has fancy abilities but super-strength and size-shifting. So it should be fine.

Wildmutt is an interesting one. I can't talk or see yet… I feel somewhat stronger and sharper than when I was a human. Yeah, I feel the same with other species but… being a dog better than being a human? Maybe…

Also, this guy has strong limbs. I feel like I can run 200 km straight without resting, ha.

After a little testing in the backyard, I reverted to human form to test out another one.

"Sonic sword technique — Mach? Don't f(censored) with me!"

I facepalmed after seeing the name of the technique Ben 2042 left behind.

"Anyway, let's test this out. Shall we find a sword…"

"We have swords in the inventory, sir," the Omnitrix reminded.

Oh… I almost forgot about it. The Omnitrix has many other functions— and among them are inventory and garage. Inventory is a feature that stores your stuff in a pocket dimension. Garage is also the same, but it stores vehicles and various types of fuel.

A list of things stored in the inventory dimension popped up in my vision.

Hmm… I found a sword tagged "Ben 2042's Sonic Sword." This one would go well with sonic techniques. Okay, I chose this.

A portal that was only as big as me appeared in front of me. Yeah, I have to grab things manually out of this portal. It sucks… I reached out and thrust my hand into the void… and grabbed the handle I saw. Then I pulled it out. Afterward, the portal closed and disappeared.

"Are you kidding me?"

The sword I obtained was… a wooden sword, nothing special. It was engraved with words that read "Sonic Sword" on it. Oh, it had a sharp blade embedded in one side and another side was just a dull wooden edge.

"Perfect sword to practice with, sir," the Omnitrix remarked.

I wonder if she is trolling me or something. Whatever, I'm gonna practice with this sword.

"Omnitrix, give me my adult form."

Adult form means Preserved DNA - Past Life file.

"Progressing, sir."

Learning from physical exercise, I knew my body was not suitable for it. I mean, I am 3, again, f(censored)ing three years old.

Anyway, with the green light vanishing over, I became my 17-year-old self.

Now that I saw it clearly, the sword was about a foot and a half long and looked like a katana (a type of Japanese sword).

Sonic blade — basic technique no. 1.

Mosquito slayer!— wait, what is with that lame name?! What kind of technique is that?!

Hmm… it involves slapping the target with the flat side of the sword.

"One… Two…" I counted as I entered the posture. "Three—"

"Who are you?!"

A female voice interrupted me, scaring the crap out of me. I tilted my head and saw Roxy with her staff raised, aimed at me, obviously prepared to beat me up.

"Uh…"

"What are you doing in the backyard of other people?!"

She asked, threatening me with her staff.

"I… I am…"

Crap, now how am I supposed to resolve this?! I am caught red-handed and I can't exactly reveal myself to her. She is a nice teacher but we've only known each other for a few days. What if… My secret can become my biggest weakness!

Think, Ben! Think! How could I fool her—

Oh, right, that's it!

"Um, I am Ben Tennyson. As you can see, I am practicing… swordplay. I heard there was a great swordsman around here so I came, and… couldn't stop myself from practicing with the sword so… I just started swinging around in their backyard."

Not a sane reason but sounds reasonable enough, I hope so.

But her expression is hard to judge.

She retracted her staff and walked toward me. Then stood on her toes, approaching my face, and afterward, started examining me through her eyes.

"Um…"

"… you look like Matty."

I widened my eyes but quickly set back my expression as she stood up and looked at me again.

"Is that a wooden sword— uh… this side is a sharp blade."

She examined my weapon again. "Hmm… okay, I will trust you."

I internally sighed.

"But who is this swordsman you are looking for?"

Oops, she is asking for it… hmm.

"I… don't know, honestly. They said he lived around here."

She cupped her chin, thinking of something. At that moment…

"Hey, Roxy… oh, who is this boy?"

It's Paul! My father is approaching us!

Roxy turned around and gave off a nonchalant look.

"He is Ben Tennyson."

"Don't tell me, do you have a boyfriend already?!"

As always, Paul jokingly said— but…

"What?! Roxy got a boyfriend?!"

My mom yelled in astonishment and I could hear her running down the stairs for it. Then she rushed toward us and now, Paul and Zenith were before us, making a big deal out of it. My parents are always fast to presume…

"No, I am joking—" Paul blinked and looked back at us. "Wait, seriously? You two are… dating?"

"The boy looks like our Matty! Handsome and manly…"

I stretched the back of my head and laughed with them but… I wasn't sure what I was doing at all. No, I must clear this up.

"… um, excuse—"

"He is not my boyfriend," Roxy said with a clear voice, causing my parents to shrink. "He is here to get advice from… you, Mr. Greyrat."

I forgot my father was a good swordsman himself. Good job, Roxy!

Now my parents had noticed the wooden sword in my right hand.

"Oh, sorry…" "My apologies…"

"So… you want advice from me, kid. I think it has something to do with swordsmanship, yes?"

"Yes, sir," I immediately replied. "I am training so I can be a good swordsman in the future! Please give me some learning advice to me!"

"Yeah, I may not look like it, but I was also an adventurer when I was younger!"

As I guessed, the word exchange between two swordsmen was quite easy. But yeah, I got to do physical exercise twice that day. We called it a day by the sunset.

"Hey, Ben, do you want to stay for dinner?" Mother— I mean, Zenith asked.

"... Thanks but no, I have a place to go after this."

You don't know how difficult it is to hold back myself from accidentally saying "mother."

"Oh, okay, will you come tomorrow—"

"Master Paul! Mistress Zenith!"

Maid Lilia ran out of the house calling out to my parents.

"What happened, Lilia?" Zenith said. "Calm down."

"Master Matteo!... pants… I can't find him anywhere!"

Oh, crap… I forgot about it. I must change back!

"What?! Matty is missing?" Zenith panicked.

"Calm down, Zenith," Paul said. "Maybe he is playing off somewhere. Our boy is a genius, you know?"

I wonder if he is just optimistic. Anyway, I must get outta here!

"But…" Paul's words didn't really put her at ease.

I decided to excuse myself and leave. "Um, I have somewhere—"

Suddenly, I felt a hand tightly grasp my right shoulder.

"Ben and I will go look for Matty in the village," Roxy interrupted, grabbing me. "You three, please search for him around the house."

I gulped and widened my eyes in horror. Roxy's expression was nonchalant and unreadable. However, this time, I had a bad feeling about it. I couldn't avoid it this time…

"Oh… is that okay with you, Ben?" Paul said.

If I denied it, they would get suspicious of me.

"... y-yeah, I'm fine with it."

"Then let's go, Ben Tennyson," Roxy said and dragged me out of the courtyard, leaving my parents and the maid behind.

We silently walked for a long time. When we reached near to the forest, I realized we weren't heading to the village.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"..." she stopped and turned around. "Ben Tennyson, I have a question."

Oh, no… don't ask—

"You are Matty, right?"

"..."

The winds made me feel so cold with all the sweat under my clothes.

"How did you come to that conclusion?" I asked. I don't know how to resolve this one… She is facing me head-on…

"The way you speak, and how cautious you are around Paul and Zenith. You also resemble Matty a lot. Those green eyes and brown hair… And I didn't hear that Matty had any siblings so…"

I sighed. "It is a coincidence. I mean, it is possible for two people to resemble each other."

"Really?" She said, looking into my eyes.

I tried my best to stay calm and maintain eye contact with her to convince her that she was wrong.

"Re-al-ly?" She asked again, her face closing into mine.

"Ye-yeah… I am not Matty. Come on, I need to find him. It's already past dusk."

"Right, you are correct," she exhaled a heavy breath as I faced my back to her, turning toward the village.

Hu… Man, I am really bad at it. Next time, please don't make me do it again.

"You have an option of deleting her memories actually, sir."

The Omnitrix suddenly suggested an absurd idea. She must have meant "Pusky Dust," the creature with sleep and dream-related abilities that can hypnotize the victims.

"I haven't even tested that one, you know," I mentally noted. "Also, if I screw up, she will burn me with magic or something."

"I will add that note for my AI thinking development."

"Do what you like," I internally sighed and headed into the village.

"Ben Tennyson."

I flinched, thinking Roxy wasn't still convinced.

"Yeah, what's it?"

"I am heading back to the house to see if he is back."

We haven't even done searching, Miss Roxy…

"Uh, okay, okay. I will be wandering about the village so… I will notify you guys if I see him."

"Hmm… You know what he looks like?"

Roxy is suspecting me again.

"Uh…"

Wait, of course, I know what he looks like—

"... yes, I know. He looks like me, right? Even his parents said so… thus he must resemble me a lot."

She nodded. "You are not wrong. Then bye."

"Okay, bye."

I watched her getting farther and farther from me. After some minutes, she had disappeared from my sight.

Finally…

"Omnitrix… find me a way to arrive home fast."

It's already dark. I can't make my parents more worried…

A picture of a black raptor-like creature with blue stripes on its tail appeared in my mental vision.

"XLR8. Species: Kineceleran. It can run at supersonic speeds and has a human-like body except for its tail."

"Anything without a tail?"

The kineceleran picture was replaced with another picture that showed a black-blue feline-looking humanoid creature with fur covering its body.

"Fasttrack. Species: Citrakayah. It fits your needs and wants, sir."

I nodded. "Alright, give me that one."

With a flash of green light, I was transformed into that citrakayah species. Fasttrack.

My legs sure looked like a feline's. Anyway, I have no time for it. I started running at a high speed, heading toward my house.

But I didn't see Roxy on the way. How strange, did she rush home with magic or something?

When I arrived near home, I reverted back to Matteo's body and ran on my own feet.

"Ah, Matty!"

My mom came running to me as soon as she saw me.

"Sorry, mom. I was kind of lost."

"Don't go off by yourself again, remember?" She lifted me off the ground and hugged me tightly. "You really got me worried."

I could hear my father laughing it off as usual and Lilia with a small smile.

Then where is Roxy…

"Hey… You ran really fast…"

Roxy panted as she entered the courtyard. She walked toward me and patted my head.

"... Gotcha."

I didn't understand what she meant.

-(BONUS)-

At some point in the time stream. Somewhere in Tokyo.

Standing atop a skyscraper were two individuals— a man in a black long coat and a younger man in a dark blue uniform, with a sheathed sword attached to his waist.

The man is revealed to be Bad Ben and the other is Ben 2042 — the sonic swordsman.

"Are you sure about that, Baddy?" The swordsman said.

"Sure about what?"

The two were overlooking an overweight man sitting by the pile of garbage next to the road, looking miserable and completely devastated.

"Helping him just because he has the worst background out of us."

Bad Ben chuckled. "No, you probably won't understand but… I know his feelings."

"..."

Ben 2042 shot a glance at the three highschoolers walking on the sidewalk near the overweight man.

"I am not sure myself. That mutant bastard is so mischievous."

By "mutant bastard," he meant Ben 2041.

"At least we are not," Bad Ben said and snapped his fingers. "That's all we need."

Then he disappeared from the sight of the swordsman as if he teleported away.

"... two sides of the same coin," Ben 2042 muttered, looking down at the truck that was going to crash the highschoolers and the overweight man who was moving as fast as he could to save the three.

He was yelling something… probably. But Nen 2042 couldn't care less.

"I guess I will go play with Eon."

He vanished into thin air.

Meanwhile…

The overweight man, however, didn't have time enough to move again after saving the three kids. The truck was going to kill him—

Suddenly, the truck stopped its tracks– no, its wheels were still rolling yet it wouldn't move forward. The sleepy driver inside the truck was awakened somehow.

He panicked and stopped the engine of the truck.

The overweight man was lying on the road, with his eyes tight closed, thinking he was going to be hit.

"Oi, fat."

He opened his eyes again as he heard a male voice calling him…

"Um… am I not… hit?"

"No, I saved your ass."

He looked at the source of that voice— who happened to be Bad Ben who was holding the truck's head with one hand.

"Now get up. Your life on the roads has just started… Don't die so early."

He got up weakly and looked around.

"Wait, those kids… are they safe?"

Bad Ben seemed to get annoyed. "Yes, they are. Probably."

In fact, only one of those three highschoolers was found at the scene.

Two of them vanished mysteriously. And the overweight man miraculously survived.

Let me conclude Chapter (1) of Secretly Unmagicified here.

Author's notes: All I want to say is Ben reincarnated into the same body Rudeus did, so he has the high mana capacity (because of the body being a capsule for [spoiler] to be reborn into). But the DNA included in Omnitrix changed the fetus' characteristics, which is why Ben looks like his past self and has green eyes. His eyes are different from Rudeus.

Apart from Rudeus' learning skills, Ben still has a photographic memory and average intelligence. But he doesn't act like a genius because he doesn't want others to take advantage of his capabilities.

This is actually a no-watch Ben appreciating work, but I kind of used a variant of No-watch Ben rather than himself. No-watch Ben shows us Ben is a hero even without the Omnitrix (which reminds me of Rudeus' previous life). This variant is a hybrid between No-watch Ben and Nega Ben. But he is also partially based on Rudeus and Deku.

The other four Ben Tennysons (Ben 69, Ben 2040, Ben 2041, and Bad Ben) are featured in my other fanfiction stories published on this site. And they all are gods of their worlds by the time Ben 2022 (the protagonist) died. —

Ben 69 replaced the God of One Punch Man universe. Ben 2040 is a multiversal entity by now (in Rising of the Shield Hero verse). Ben 2041 is also a god yet one that insists he isn't a god. Bad Ben killed Ehit (from Arifureta) and became a god to repair the world.

So the Omnitrix created by these four god entities has absurd stats— nigh-indestructible durability and high-tech AI and much more. Even many of the most powerful fictional characters won't be able to destroy this Omnitrix. Yet Ben 2039 is not unbeatable because he is still learning how to use the Omnitrix.
