AN: After some thinking and Illya Emiya pointing this out, I realize that it would be too Mary sue so I changed one important detail. I'll explain at the bottom.
Wielder of the Gun
Earlier
Fitoria opens her eyes "The four heroes have been summoned in Melomarc perhaps this time, the heroes will be united and strong to face the waves?"
A golden light flash at the corner of her eye, she turns and sees a building light up. "That light, that means the Gun hero has been summoned"
She hops off the rock and walks towards the building she recalls the last few memories she has of the previous gun hero before his death
Flashback
"Fitoria, summoning a new gun hero this soon will let the Ruler of the Waves notice the hero's existence. She will take this weapon and give it to a person to control just like the so-called Gun heroes from my world before it fell. This is why I ask you to hold on to this relic, keep it hidden until the Gun knows when it's a good time to summon the next hero. The summoning circle is in that building, try to keep it preserved."
"Ok I will I promise I will do that mister ******"
"Thank you Fitoria"
End of Flashback
The young man seemed to be about twenty years old, his eyes were hazel, and his black hair was odd. The hair on the sides of his head was short, only the top was not and it was swept to the side of his head. Fitoria has never seen a hairstyle like this.
"Welcome" she says getting the attention of the hero, expecting great things from him
Later
She didn't expect to find herself nearly crying from the New Hero's anguish and grief.
"I'm alone" the Hero's cry hits deeply into her soul, she no longer sees a young man, she only sees herself crying.
She hugs the new hero, whispering words of comfort for the grieving young man, and rubs his head, "Master rubbed my head like this and it made me happy, so could it help this hero?" She thinks as she continues to hold the hero.
"Will he be able to help defeat the waves for good?" She wonders as the young man continues to grieve
Present
Misato raises his hand to block the sunlight, only to find a gun block his view
"What hell?" Misato jumps, at the sight of a firearm in his hand.
"That is your weapon, the gun" Fitoria says
"At least I wasn't summoned with the other four heroes as an unexpected and certainly unwelcomed hero…" Misato thinks to himself as he inspects the gun, it looks like the Ambassador from TF2, its metal was black and accented with silver in its carvings and a yellow gem on the side of the barrel.
"Fitoria when and where were the four heroes summoned?"
"They have been summoned today by all four heroes in the kingdom I believe is called Melomarc."
Damn it, that means the framing happens soon, I'm too weak to stop it without getting silenced, so much for stopping the seeds of distrust… Ok usually things go ok for Naofumi and his name being clear would be a good opportunity to gain trust but… Rueben, his friend who is well informed of the series, mentions how they got worse after what Kyo does in season 2, Malty and some adventurers made things worse for them, causing them to fall into the curse series, which one? I forgot… Seriously why the hell did that bitch only got a slap on the wrist?
This is going to be tough, the three heroes were made to make Naofumi look good in comparison, so they are going to be difficult to communicate, without being tempted to give them a black eye. Misato sighs
"Is something the matter?" Fitoria asks no doubt curious about his 'positive' expression
"If my knowledge is correct, then it's too late to stop the king and the princess of Melomarc from framing the Shield hero of rape and have him discriminated immediately after today and stopping selfish people from gaining naive trust from the other heroes.
"How and why?" Fitoria asks with a glare
"Not completely certain if I'm right but the king hates the Shield hero by association of being supported of Demi-humans and more personal feelings involving that race, the three heroes church pope wanted to prove that their teachings are true, and the princess is a sadistic evil idiot that thinks that taking a large part of this scheme is a good idea for her own selfish goals…"
Fitoria was silent, probably she wasn't surprised at this action but disappointed in humanity
"Not only that but three of the heroes are coping with their deaths. They will now try to ignore that they died and act as if this is a dream where nothing could go wrong."
"Tomorrow I will send a filolial to confirm this" She states gritting her teeth
"Hey, it's not a good start but don't give up hope just yet with what I know I can come up with a plan to unite the four heroes and deal with people who would manipulate them for their own greed. Let me check my stats"

36 damage points at level 1 that's really good, then again, I am the gun hero, so it makes sense. But what's with those defense stats!? I'm a glass cannon! At the corner of my eye, I see an ammo counter for my revolver,
24 Bullets
Crap that means I got to make bullets, but how? Maybe there's-oh good! There's a crafting system, with the right material I can make more ammo. But… didn't Itsuki shoot arrows made out of energy, was it mana?
"Hey gun, can you use mana to create bullets for me to shoot with?" a pop-up appears
Convert Mana to conjure bullets, 2 MP for each revolver bullet
Note: Mana bullets are ineffective against enemies with high magical defenses
Good just in case I run out of ammo, and I don't have to waste it by practicing my aim
Ok now for the systems, it seems like there are different types of guns and not just variants of a revolver, but they are locked. Thankfully I don't have to start with a musket, reloading each time I shoot once, especially with MY defense stats. I would be killed the moment I grab the lead ball. At least with how high my Dexterity and Agility is, I could dodge quickly.
"Alright Fitoria, if it's alright could I practice aiming first? It would be bad to start hunting monsters only to miss and get hurt."
"Yes, however, you may only shoot the trees, not the ruins."
"Ok" Misato, lifts the gun, empties the cylinder, he pushes the cylinder back and spins it inside the gun mana bullets already loaded, he lines up his eye next to the top of the gun but then he notices something at the center. Is that a reticle?
There is a small white circle at the center of his vision, could this be here to assist me with aiming? Misato tils the gun and he sees the reticle move, he aims the gun until the reticle reaches the 'target' Misato takes a breath and fires.
BANG
"GWEH!"
"Oh sorry!" Misato yells toward the startled birds
"I have forgotten how loud the weapon is" Fitoria says with her hands over her ears
Misato walks up to the tree to inspect; the shot was slightly outside of the reticle. He goes back to his previous spot and fires again, the bullet lands closer to his intended target.
He fires again, and again, after a half of his mana disappeared, he stops and inspects the 'target'. Most of the shots were close, almost a circle but there are few that were way off.
"Good job" Fitoria says
"Ok Fitoria, is there any metal I can use to craft?"
"Yes, the previous hero prepared materials and tools for you to use and prepare, I will show you his workshop," Fitoria says walking towards a building with a metal door. She raises her hand, and the door glows blue and opens.
They walk inside, the room is dark and has some metallic parts, there are tables with some tools.
Fitoria walks towards the end of the room and pulls a switch. The room lights up, the tables were metal with tools laying on top of it.
"The previous hero prepared a lot for me huh?
"Yes, he wanted you to be ready as you don't have a kingdom to support you" Fitoria says, pointing at a pile of ingots organized by type of material
Misato grabs a few various metals and gunpowder from a barrel and looks into his crafting menu.

Misato presses yes, the numbers on the bullet counter increased from 24 to 36. These might be enough to practice fighting monsters. Misato loads the live ammo into the gun and turns around looking at Fitoria who is staring at a cracked tablet with a hole, pressing and holding a button for a few seconds… Nothing happens.
"What's that?" Misato asks,
"A device filled with recordings of my master and the previous gun hero. The gun hero gifted this to me before he died but, one day I accidentally broke it and it hasn't worked since then…" Fitoria answers, her voice filled with sadness and guilt. she turns her head to face Misato with a stoic expression
"Come we must prepare you for the waves," She says, but Misato knows she's trying to keep her thoughts from the past.
"Alright," Misato says, glancing at the tablet, could it be possible to fix it?
Misato shakes his head and follows the Filolial queen. They walk to an empty carriage and sat inside it
The carriage teleports and they appear in a forest. Fitoria walks out, pointing in a certain direction.
"This monster is ideal for training without worry of death but its bites are quite painful, what is this monster called?"
She's still testing his knowledge. "Let me guess, balloons?" Misato says
Fitoria nods and then immediately ducks, an orange blur appears over the queen's head and flies towards Misato, he leaps to the side with a totally manly yelp, stumbling a bit. Misato then finds his balance; he raises his gun and fires.
BANG
The bullet misses, and the balloon charges, undeterred by the loud sound from the hero. Misato looks at the balloon with the reticle and fires again.
BANG
The bullet hits the balloon, it explodes into some pieces of rubber.
"Yes, I got one!" Misato cheers, he turns his head towards the group of orange balloons. He loads two more bullets into the gun. "Time to get to work" he raises his gun and fires.
BANG
Misato continues his training, dopamine fills his brain as a single bullet would take out two or more balloons, he sees an orange blur at the corner of his eye, he turns to face the balloon, he pulls the trigger.

CHOMP
"Shit!" Misato cries shooting the balloon with a mana bullet
BANG
"Damn that stings" Misato grimaces rubbing the bitten arm. He raises his head and finds another group of balloons bouncing toward him. He fires all 5 shots, 3 of them were the only ones that hit and there are a lot more. Misato aims and fires again
Insufficient Mana
"Damn it!" He grabs a real bullet to load into the gun but his hand slips and drops it. "Crap!" No time, he flips the revolver, ready to pop a balloon that gets close.
POP POP POP POP
Fitoria appears in a flash, balloons popping all at once, she faces Misato with a disappointed look. "You were overconfident"
"Ya, I know... Won't happen again" Misato sighs, loading the bullets one by one into the revolver. 26 bullets left.
"Let's return to the sanctuary, it's time to rest," Fitoria says walking back to the carriage, Misato looks at the sun and sees it nearly gone. Wow, they ran out of time fast.
A few days later
Misato pours some water into the weapon, it absorbs the liquid
New weapon form unlocked
Water gun
Ammunition: Water
Shoot water at any pressure
"Cool" Misato comments, he sees Fitoria approach him, she still looks upset from the other day.
Flashback
"You were right, the Shield hero has been accused of a serious crime, if it's truly false it makes me more disgusted with humanity, to make a hero an outcast after only a single day for their own greed…" she says, frowning.
"Calm down, we still have a way to fix all of this, I'll tell you what I have planned later" Misato says, standing up to stretch.
Fitoria nods but is still frowning
End of Flashback
"Misato" she says getting his attention, she motions him to follow. They walk towards an empty field
"So, what's going on today Fitoria?" Misato asks
"Today we will be sparring, fire when ready"
"Oh, ok" Misato he grabs the revolver and aims, he pulls the trigger.
BANG
Fitoria ducks the bullet, and charges
Misato fires, she leans head to the side as the bullet misses again. Misato then starts moving back, trying to keep his distance away from the Filolial Queen. He fires towards her feet but the girl leaps over it.
He rolls to the side. Fitoria slams onto the ground where he once stood "You will have to do better than that Hero…" She says staring at Misato with a glare.
"Your still mad about the accusation..." Misato sweat drops and fires
BANG
Tink
She slaps the bullet aside and leaps forward, punching him in the gut.
"Uaugh.." Misato groans, rubbing his stomach.
"Get up we are not done yet"
"Give me a sec to re-align my organs…" Misato murmurs as he slowly stands up. She's definitely upset about it, can't blame her, Melomarc had the best opportunity to make these four heroes united but screwed it up by misplacing all their hate on the new Shield hero, Naofumi, for what happened in the past war with Silvelt.
"Begin when ready" she says
Misato fires, she dodges ready to punch him again, but this time he is ready, Misato transforms his weapon to the water gun and fires the water at high pressure, the force of the blast pushes him back and Fitoria even further, as her current form is at the size and the weight of a child.
"Woah!" Misato yells, he lands sliding on the ground, transforming the gun back to a revolver, he fires.
Crunch
The bullet crushes itself against Fitoria's forehead.
She rubs her head and looks down at the crushed bullet. She smiles
"Well done, Misato"
They continued to spar for a few hours, surprisingly Misato managed to hit her a few times.
"Wouldn't simply killing the people in the way of uniting the heroes be better?" Fitoria asks, recalling Misato's plan
"The heroes aren't really used to death and seeing the death of someone they trust would make them more unstable and if they discovered that I caused their deaths, the heroes would never trust me. Also, I don't know about how I feel about killing people quite yet…" Misato keeps that last part to himself.
"These heroes seem rather fragile"
"Humans are fragile remember how I came to this world?" Morgan retorts with a glare
Fitoria thinks she could never forget that day, even with her forgetfulness. "Apologies I didn't mean to offend you"
"It's alright, anyway as for the king and the princess, the Queen will hate me and she will know because the Queen has shadows watching the princess and the king, they would know that I killed them when I reveal my identity as the gun hero, we need the Queen's help and trust, in the stories she was the only ruler that Naofumi could trust when it comes to fighting the waves" Misato says
Misato takes a deep breath and continues "The Church of the Three Heroes are too powerful and have too many followers, so I can't kill the Pope and the old bastard is probably too strong for me to kill."
"Which is why we have to do this, I need you to come with me and go to the Shield hero's party, talk to them and the Queen's Shadow who would be spying on that party hopefully they will understand that some of the companions of the heroes need to go because they are not helping them on taking the waves seriously and assist with guiding the heroes to face the consequences of their actions."
Fitoria is silent staring at Misato with a blank expression, but he could tell what she dislikes about this plan.
Misato sighs "Fitoria, I know you have issues with humanity for what they did, but I promise you, that this is essential to making the heroes unite... I'm just one guy who has some idea of the future, gaining their trust will be hard, right now the Shielder can hardly trust anyone. The others trust the wrong people, people who will get in my way for their own selfish desires. I mean I would love shooting them out the way but like I said the heroes would then not listen to me if I did that. So please I need your help."
"..." Fitoria stares directly into Misato's eyes, he doesn't falter at her sight.
Fitoria closes her eyes, sighing "Alright... But you must come with me to face the wave in Zeltoble, killing the wave boss will boost your strength and once you talk to the Shield Hero's party and the Queen's shadow and have them help you, I will leave and prepare warriors for the Sanctuary. So, for now we must continue your training."
Misato sighs in relief "Thank you Fitoria, I won't let you down" He smiles.
Misato's POV
It has been about a week, training has been going well, Fitoria says that I have improved, and my shots are more consistent. I gained some experience in combat after sparring against Fitoria. I now know how to stand up from a fall immediately, after some practice by tumbling down hills, thanks to a certain queen making me eat dirt all the time.
I gained 11 levels, and after enduring many punches from Fitoria, I think my defense stats have risen up faster.
I discovered that my strengthening method is by using various materials to craft and improve parts of my weapons along with stat bonuses from it. If only I could recall the other heroes' methods, unfortunately the anime didn't dive into that well and even if it did, I most likely forgot it. Which means I got to get them to tell me.
Anyways, I learned that the crafting system can also make weapons which means it can also make different guns for the weapon to transform into. I just need the right materials and a general idea of what they do. Unfortunately, with my crafting skill's current level, I can't make anything too advanced, so much for getting a Halo Assault Rifle. I have to start small, so I crafted some muskets.
I made a musket rifle. It gave me this skill called Firing Line: a row of 20 muskets would appear next to me and fire the moment I pull the trigger. Making the bayonet attachment gave me a bonus on attack stats
I created blunderbuss aka the first shotgun, for more effective firepower up close. Its skill is called shrapnel. When I shoot the moment the bullet lands on the target, those lead balls would break apart and split off in more directions like a grenade. I could shoot next to someone, and they could get hurt.
Right now, I am trying to make a gun with a shield attached to it but…
You don't meet the requirements to craft this item
"But I made the shield and the gun for them to go together. What's the issue?
The weapon is not a gun
"It's clearly a gun with extra stuff at the front to protect me because you gave me garbage defense stats and besides you already crafted other weapons that are Not a gun at least tell me what I need…"
...
"Stupid system, what's the point of the help menu if it only shows things that I know of in a video game…" I sigh, at the corner of my eye, I see Fitoria approaching me. I'll figure something out later. I dismiss the window and face the Queen.
"Is there something you need?"
"It's time to go, the wave starts in a few days"

As for people who are curious about levels and stats, honestly, I made this story just to have an SI OC use guns in a fantasy world, so I'm not going to focus on the RPG elements.
As for my plans with this story, there will be canon divergences but don't expect the antagonists to be compelling.
Btw I only watched season 1 of the anime, but I guess I'll watch season 2 soon.

Misato knowing Atla and Fohl thanks to his friend who likes to subconsciously blurt out spoilers would be odd and too Mary sue so I changed it. Misato is only aware of Season 1 and Season 2 including some missing details that the anime missed out on. He's gonna fight in Zeltoble but he won't get Atla and Fohl out, because he doesn't know them yet. He knows about the curse series. he knows a summary about how and why the other 3 heroes fall to the curse weapons, I'll explain why in the story.

After some thinking, I realized that Misato's actions will actually make quite a few changes because of what I intend for him to do so don't worry, things will be different, it will take some time though.
