Giving Link the Fairy Ocarina
When Saria gave Link the Fairy Ocarina, she didn't feel watched.
She felt sad that Link would now go -forever'-. Her fairy companion had gathered as much as that Link would now go to a "Princess of destiny", so she felt a pang of jealousy too.
"I hope, that when you play this Ocarina, that you will come back to the forest and talk with me."
Link was perplexed, but he soon ran away.
A strange melancholy was sweeping over Saria's heart, but then she heard a rustling from right above.
She could see Mido walking right towards the lost woods entrance. Mido never found the entrance to the lost woods. In fact, all the Koikiri besides Saria could not find it, because they could not hear music very well. It made Saria wonder if she was a special Koikiri. Besides Link.
She mutterd to herself "I curse you, Mido, now you want to make my life miserable too?"
Not long afterwards, she packed the neccessary things from house and went to the sacred forest meadow.
Back in those days, she could only hear the sounds of fairies singing that would lead her to the sacred forest meadow.
After unpacking her things, she drank some water from the magic pool - it replenished itself.
Now, she took out her Ocarina, and at the advice of her Fairy Companion, she started mimicing their singing. Soon, the fairies would be silent, and her playing the ocarina filled up the lost woods.
She wondered what was in that forest temple above her.
She wondered even more if Link was even interested in her anymore.
"Stupid Mido. Now the other Koikiri will talk again."
