''Hey babe?'' Brittany asks turning to her girlfriend as they walk out of the hotel after making sure Maribel, Puck and Quinn got safely to her room after drinking a bit too much, Santana turns to look at her and immediately shakes her head giggling.
''I am not telling you where we are going Britt-Britt.''
''I was going to ask if you have your phone on loud in case your mami calls.'' Brittany replies a bit too quickly, Santana just laughs seeing straight through her lame excuse and shakes her head.
''No you weren't but yes I have, Sam and C are on their way to the hotel though and they are still a bit sober.''
''Your mami definitely loved those shots.'' Brittany mutters laughing.
''Not just mami.'' Santana murmurs as she leans into her girlfriends side. ''Had I accepted the last one she held out for me, I would have been in the same state she is now.''
Brittany just laughs and kisses her head. ''It can still happen love.''
''Meh not tonight, might happen during our longer stay here.'' Santana murmurs smirking, she stops as they reach the docks and smiles slightly. ''We are here.''
''What exact..'' Brittany's mouth snaps shut the second her eyes land on a candle lit Gondola and turns to Santana in surprise. ''What the?''
Santana just giggles leading her down the docks to the Gondola and introduces herself and her girlfriend telling the Gondolier that she made the reservations earlier that night, she smiles as he greets them enthusiastically and takes his offered hand to step into the Gondola.
She turns to her girlfriend as he helps her in too, both of them sitting down with their backs facing him and intertwines their hands grinning as she sees the surprise clear on her face. ''I know I told you that I have a date morning planned with you tomorrow, but the second I saw the offer at the restaurant I just had to make the reservation.''
Brittany just shakes her head and smiles slightly. ''You keep surprising me babe.''
''And I hope I will always manage to do that, the look on your face always warms my heart.'' Santana whispers softly against her cheek as she leans up to kiss it.
''Ride with or without talking and singing Ms Lopez?'' The gondolier asks as he grabs his Oar readying himself to push off of the docks.
''With.'' Santana replies kindly.
''How long are you girls together?'' The gondolier asks curiously, Brittany raises an eyebrow at the quick question and looks at him over her shoulder.
''Almost three years.'' She answers.
''Who is the man?''
''Are you serious?'' Santana asks also turning to look at him with a frown. ''Who the fuck told you that it's appropriate to ask that?''
Brittany rolls her eyes as she sees his flirting smirk and reaches out grabbing onto the docks as he tries to push off. ''No chance dude.'' She stands up whistling as she sees a group of Gondoliers waiting for customers and bites her lip as they all turns to look at her. ''Hey any of you up to swap places with this one? We prefer a Gondolier who respects our relationship!''
''Again Miguel?!'' A older gentleman screams as he walks out of a small shed.
''Sir!'' The guy standing behind them yells in panic.
''Get off!'' The man yells, he turns to his other coworkers and nods his head to the gondola. ''One of you get on.'' He turns to both women and sighs. ''I must apologize, I hope Jason will be better Miss.''
He turns to his employee after pushing Miguel towards his office and locks eyes with him. ''Take the scenic route and stop as soon as you reach the spot and take more pictures as offered in the package.'' He tells him, he turns back to the two girls and smiles apologetic. ''I am really sorry Miss.''
''It's alright.'' Brittany replies as she sits back down, she watches him walk into the office hearing his yells and shakes her head. ''Well damn.''
''Don't worry about them Miss.'' Jason tells her with a sigh. ''Miguel was warned before many people just ignore him but we all think it's time he sees that love is love.''
Brittany just hums feeling him push off of the docks and wraps her arm around Santana's waist.
''With or without talking and singing Miss?''
''With?'' Santana mutters carefully.
''What brings you to Las Vegas?'' Jason asks smiling kindly even though they can't see him.
''America's got talent.'' Santana replies chuckling. ''And we always wanted to come here and enjoy the nightlife.''
''The both of you auditioning?'' Jason asks ducking as they near a bridge.
''No only one of us will be auditioning.'' Brittany answers knowing they can't spill San's performance yet.
''Ah well I wish you the best of luck.'' Jason tells them kindly. ''Do you have any song choices?''
''You know the song Love letter by Og3ne?'' Santana asks.
''I do actually, I never expected anyone knowing them though.'' Jason replies in surprise, Santana just chuckles and shrugs.
''It's our song, it kinda describes our relationship.''
''A letter is the start of your relationship?'' Jason asks raising an eyebrow.
''Yeah it kinda was.'' Brittany answers as she pulls Santana close, she looks over her shoulder and locks eyes with him smiling slightly. ''We met while I was overseas on a mission.''
''You are a soldier.'' Jason states his eyebrows raising in surprise.
''Veteran.'' Brittany corrects with a grin.
''Damn Miss, why the hell didn't you kick Miguel's ass?''
Brittany just laughs and shakes her head as Santana giggles. ''We are here to enjoy an early anniversary date, I don't think kicking someone off of his Gondola will be a nice thing to remind us back to the day that is meant to be ours.''
''True.'' Jason mutters chuckling. ''But well I know the song so I will sing it, you girls can enjoy the scenic.'' He glances at the setting sun and hums. ''But first, you both mind facing me for a few seconds?'' He asks grabbing his camera.
He hold sit up as they both turn their heads to look at him, Brittany's arm wrapped around Santana's shoulders while Santana's is wrapped around her waist and snaps a picture as they immediately grin. ''I don't think I ever had a couple on my Gondola that both looked through their middle, somehow I always had to tell them to do that.''
Santana giggles and shrugs. ''We aren't like any other couple.''
''I can see that, may I ask how long the both of you are together?''
''Almost three years.'' Santana replies as she cuddles back into Brittany.
''That's amazing, keep up the love because it's beautiful to see.''
Brittany chuckles and looks at him again. ''We don't plan on letting that fire dim.''
She smiles as he just nods his head grinning and turns back looking at the sunset as he mentions for her to turn back around while lifting his camera, she pulls Santana closer kissing her temple as she tucks herself into her side and sighs softly. ''This is amazing, thank you for planning this San.'' She whispers as Jason starts singing.
Santana just shakes her head as she nuzzles her nose against her shoulder and drops a soft kiss on her collarbone. ''Babe you told me to stop thanking you for planning our amazing second anniversary, this doesn't even scratch the surface of the amazing day we had last year.''
''It does though, I am here with you and that is all I need to be happy San.''
''Babe you surprised me with a whale watching cruise.'' Santana whispers still amazed as she thinks back to all the whales and the beautiful sunset they captured that day.
''Mh and our first year?'' Brittany asks with an eyebrow raised. ''You really think I would ever forget that you managed to score tickets to see a raiders game and managed to plan a team meet and greet?'' She just shakes her head as Santana shrugs and kisses her head. ''Babe I know you don't like football and that you were quite bored, but you never showed it.''
''Because I was there with you, I don't need anything else mi amor.'' She bites her lip as she just locks eyes with her a perfectly manicured eyebrow raised and chuckles. ''Aight point taken.'' She murmurs as she tilts her head up to kiss her softly not noticing Jason snapping pictures of them.
''Ladies.'' Jason starts softly after giving them five minutes, he smiles as they turn to them and nods his head to the other bench. ''Any chance the both of you can carefully move to the other bench? We just arrived at the best spot for beautiful pictures.''
''I hope you don't have any problems with fireworks.'' He adds as they slowly move over facing him, he crouches down as they both shake their heads and glances up at the sky as the first colorful burst of fireworks light up. ''Perfect, now let's have a small photo shooting.''
''Beautiful.'' He compliments as the both of them just lean against each other, their eyes sparkling with every color of fireworks that lights up above them. ''Miss.'' He starts turning to Brittany. ''Could you sit sideways, facing the sunset and can you.'' He turns to Santana. ''Lean back against her also facing the sky?''
He nods his head as they easily move around and smiles brightly as the blonde props her leg up on the edge leaning her right arm over it after curling her left arm around the Latina, he continues snapping pictures even though they are having a silent conversation and smiles brightly as they turn to him eyes bright with happiness. ''Breathtakingly gorgeous girls.'' He compliments.
''Could you snap a picture with my phone?'' Santana asks, she holds it out for him as he nods his head and leans back into Brittany's embrace intertwining their hands on her stomach.
They both face Jason as he holds Santana's phone up and smile brightly as he nods his head, Brittany just shoots Jason a wink not knowing that he has his finger on the button making a series of pictures and slowly tilts Santana's head up to kiss her softly hearing another burst of firework fire off.
''Whoa.'' Jason whispers softly to himself after he managed to capture the colorful burst and the beautiful couple in front of him at the right time. ''You girls will love this one.'' He tells them as they pull out of the kiss to turn to him.
Santana takes her phone back from him and smiles. ''Thank you so much, I think we have enough pictures for now.''
''Not quite yet.'' Brittany mutters, she locks eyes with Jason and smiles slightly. ''What are the bonuses for a good review and added picture with your name Jason?''
''Oh no you don't have to.'' Jason tells them.
Santana moves over to the bench so her back is facing Jason again immediately knowing what her girlfriend wants to do and switches to the front camera of her phone, she leans into her side as she joins her and holds her phone up while tilting her head back to look at Jason. ''Smile.''
Brittany laughs softly taking the phone for Santana to lift it a bit higher so they are all on the picture and smirks into the camera as Jason just holds two thumbs up with a big grin, she snaps another picture as she sees the adorable smile on Santana's face and lowers the phone.
''You girls really don't have to do that, not after what happened in the beginning.'' Jason tells them.
''We aren't doing this for him.'' Santana tells him as she takes her phone and opens the website of the Gondola's, she scrolls down all reviews tapping the box to write her own and turns her head to look at him. ''Our review won't be firm based, it's based on just you, you made this trip memorable Jason.''
''Yeah it was amazing.'' Brittany adds. ''How long do you do this?''
''About four years now, my boss is actually my dad.'' Jason tells them with a small grin. ''I will be taking over as soon as he decides it's time to retire.''
''Well I am sure it will stay a hit no matter who runs it.'' Santana tells him as she types out a review. ''We already saw quite a bit Las Vegas offered today, but this is by far the best.''
''You went to play?''
''Not yet.'' Brittany answers chuckling. ''Might happen later on though.''
''If you do, don't go up against locals.'' Jason advises. ''As soon as the dealer greets them by name, leave the table because those people play every day and make a living out of bankrupting tourists.''
''I want to go to Wynn tomorrow, any tips?'' Brittany asks with an eyebrow raised.
''Start small, don't throw in the huge bucks just yet.'' Is the first thing Jason tells her.
''I wasn't planning on putting in more than hundred fifty.'' Brittany tells him chuckling.
''Wynn is a good place but whenever the waitress brings you a drink, give her a dollar to keep her happy.'' He continues. ''Oh and visit the Koi pond, it's Wynn's highlight.''
Brittany just nods her head as they near the docks again and smiles. ''That sounds perfect, thanks Jason.''
She helps Santana stand up right after Jason fastened the Gondola and helps her out of it, she accepts Jason's help climbing onto the dock and holds out her hand helping him out chuckling as she sees the surprise on his face. ''Thank you so much, it was definitely the best ride.'' She tells him as they walk past the others ignoring Miguel glaring at them, she pulls Santana closer and protectively curls her arm around her waist.
''Anytime girls.'' Jason tells them with a big grin as Santana also thanks him, he turns to Miguel and whistles. ''Yo Miguel, if you don't want your ass kicked to the curb I would stop glaring at our customers!''
He shakes his head as his father storms out once again and locks eyes with him. ''Don't papa, it's taken care of okay?''
''Ladies I hope the ride was better this time?'' Jason's dad asks turning to Brittany and Santana.
Santana nods her head and smiles kindly. ''Even better as expected sir.'' She tells him. ''Your son sure knows how to entertain.''
''We aim to please.'' He tells her grinning.
''It was paid already right?'' Jason asks turning to his dad, he runs a hand through his hair as he nods his head and smiles slightly. ''We need to give a bit back dad, military discount.''
''Oh no.'' Santana cuts in. ''We don't want anything back, if you want to take off the discount use it as your tip.'' She tells Jason.
''Are you sure?'' Jason asks surprised.
''We are.'' Santana reassures. ''You made this ride memorable Jason, take it and enjoy the rest of your night.''
''You too, thank you girls.'' Jason mutters with a grin reaching out to shake their hands, Brittany just smiles leading Santana off of the docks after thanking Jason again and kisses the top of her head as she cuddles into her.
''Where to now love?''
''Back to the hotel and relax in the whirlpool?'' Santana asks grinning as she immediately nods her head.
Santana raises an eyebrow as they see two of their friends stumble in front of them as soon as they near the hotel and turns to her girlfriend. ''Babe.'' She mutters calling her attention as she sees her looking around at the strip, she nods her head to the couple a bit in front of them and chuckles. ''Looks like Mike and T had a blast.''
Brittany follows her line of sight, laughing loudly as she sees her best friends stumble over each other and shakes her head. She lifts two fingers up to her mouth, whistling the whistle they always use to call the other and smirks as they turn around shaking her head as she sees the big dopey grin forming on their faces.
''Brittana!'' Mike slurs with a squeak, Brittany chuckles as Tina just stumbles over to hug them and shakes her head.
''Fuck the both of you are hammered.'' She breaths out in amusement as Santana just giggles at their antics. ''Had fun?''
She shakes her head as they just grin and laughs. ''Come on idiots, time to call it a night.''
''Noooo sleep is boring.'' Mike whines as Brittany grabs his arm throwing it around her shoulders as she notices he is completely wasted.
''Can you walk without support T?'' Brittany asks looking over her shoulder, she smiles as she sees Santana supporting her with a hand around her waist and turns back to Mike. ''Yeah let's be boring tonight Chaos, time to sleep.'' She tells him as she practically caries him into the hotel.
''Noo I need strippers, we are in Vegas.'' Mike hollers the slur clear in his voice.
''Oh yes strippers!'' Tina breaths out a big grin forming on her lips, she turns to Brittany as they walk up to the elevators leading up to their rooms and cackles. ''Will you strip for us Firecracker?''
Santana let's go of Tina as she doubles over laughing loudly the second she sees the look on Brittany's face and covers her mouth to silence herself as she hears her laughter echoing around the elevator.
''Not gonna happen dark and broody.'' Brittany mutters with a shake of her head. ''Damn how much did you drink?''
''I wanna fuck.'' Mike states smirking.
Brittany covers her face blushing bright red as an elderly couple walks in, freezing the second they hear Mike and shakes her head as Santana just continues laughing her ass off. ''I am so sorry.'' She apologizes.
''First time Vegas?'' The woman asks in amusement.
Brittany just nods her head gently pushing her girlfriend as they reach their floors and tightens her hold on Mike as he refuses to walk. ''Yeah.'' She mutters walking past them making sure Tina will walk in front of her. ''First and last time.'' She adds as the door closes.
She leads Mike down the hall as the laughter of the couple follows them and shakes her head as he continues cackling loudly. ''Shut up Chaos, people are trying to sleep.'' She tells him as Santana unlocks the door leading into Mike's room with the key she fished out of Tina's purse, she leads him over to the bed, pushing him down and crouches down to take off his shoes.
''Oh yeah, strip me.'' Mike cheers.
Brittany just drops her head as Santana loses it again and shakes it. ''Just shut up Mike.'' She grumbles chuckling, she turns to her girlfriend as she drops Tina down beside Mike and raises an eyebrow. ''Always the supportive one San.'' She tells her in amusement as she sees tears rolling down her face.
''I'm sorry.'' Santana breaths out through her laughter. ''But they are hilarious.''
''Thank god he's wearing dress pants, I am not risking anything.'' Brittany mutters as she moves Mike up the bed, she moves Tina up after she also took off her shoes and tucks them in.
Santana just chuckles walking over to the mini fridge to grab two bottles of water and smiles as she sees Brittany taking two painkillers out of her pocket. ''Sit up nerds.'' Brittany tells her friends, she sits down on the edge taking the bottle of water Santana holds out and turns to Mike. ''Take this Mike.''
''No, no pills.''
''Dude it's painkiller, now open.'' Brittany tells him, she rolls her eyes as he continues shaking his head and firmly grabs his jaw. She opens it smirking as his complain dies on his lips the second she drops the pill into the back of his throat and quickly gives him a sip of water so he needs to swallow. ''See that was not that bad, right?''
''Hate you.'' Mike grumbles pouting.
''Love you too asshole.'' Brittany mutters snickering, she smiles as she sees Tina just taking the pill without complaining and walks into the bathroom grabbing the trashcan.
Santana just shakes her head in amusement as she watches her girlfriend make sure Mike and Tina are comfortable enough and follows her to the door frowning in confusion as she sees her playing with the lock until a soft click reaches her ears. ''What are you doing?'' She asks softly as she slides up behind her.
''Making sure drunk and drunker can't leave their room.'' Brittany murmurs chuckling, she glances over her shoulder at their friends smiling as she sees them relaxing with their eyes closed both laying on their sides and pulls Santana out of the room after placing Mike's phone on the table the front camera facing the bed and looks down at her own phone making sure the call stays connected.
She closes the door behind her, swiping the key card over the lock and nods her head as she hears another click. ''I just pulled the child lock down, they can't open the door from the inside.'' She explains.
''And you just set up a sort of baby monitor.'' Santana mutters in amusement.
Brittany nods her head and laughs softly. ''Yeah just to check up on them and to make sure they won't turn on their backs and choke.''
She stops in front of Maribel's room and glances at her girlfriend. ''Want to check up on your mami?'' She takes out her wallet as she nods her head and takes out all the second key cards to the room she forced the group to give her, she takes the one with Maribel's room number and swipes it over the lock. ''I will quickly check up on the other four.'' She tells her girlfriend softly.
Santana nods her head walking into her mami's room after pecking her lips and tiptoes inside, she smiles lovingly as she sees her spread out on the bed, snoring softly with the TV still running and walks over to turn it off.
She walks over to the bed tucking her mami in again and leans over to kiss her forehead. ''Te amo mami.''
She walks out of the room after placing a painkiller and a bottle of water on her nightstand and softly closes the door behind her, she raises an eyebrow as she watches Brittany walk out of Sam and Mercedes's room shaking her head in amusement and walks up to her as she waits in front of their room. ''What?'' She asks in amusement as she hears her soft sweet chuckle.
''Next time I will check on mami, I don't want to walk in on our best friends butt naked again.''
''Mami huh?'' Santana asks her heart jumping with joy as she follows her into their room, she grunts softly as she stops in her tracks and quickly reaches out grabbing her hips as she stumbles forward with a soft yelp.
''San..'' Santana just turns her around in her arms shaking her head as she sees the shock in her eyes and smiles lovingly.
''Nope don't you dare taking that back Britt-Britt.'' She whispers grinning. ''Do you know what hearing that one word just did to me?''
She grabs her hand as she just bites her lip and places it over her heart knowing she can feel the fast thump. ''Yes it shocked me a bit but I just fell deeper in love with you, knowing just how much you love mi mami, mi amor.''
''She gave birth to the love of my life.'' Brittany whispers softly. ''Of course I love her.''
Santana just smiles and steps closer sliding her arms around her slim waist, she tilts her head up and captures thin pink lips in a soft kiss. ''I love you.'' She whispers between pecks.
Brittany smiles into the kiss cupping the back of her neck, leaving the other on Santana's heart and pulls her closer. ''And I love you.'' She whispers sweetly as she pulls out of the kiss, she glances at the whirlpool and sighs softly. ''Do you mind moving a relaxing day in the whirlpool to tomorrow morning? I don't want any of the nerds interrupting us.''
''Not at all, let's change and cuddle Britt-Britt.'' Santana murmurs grinning as she steps back, she chuckles as she just dives into their bed after sliding out of her skinny jeans and catches the shirt she tries throwing over her in a wide arch. ''Crazy.'' She murmurs throwing the clothes on the chair behind her.
She slides into the bed after taking off her dress and smiles as Brittany just immediately rolls over nuzzling her face in her chest, she gently runs her blunt fingernails through silky blonde locks and dips her head to kiss her forehead as she feels her yawn. ''Go to sleep baby.''
''Mh good night Angel.''
Santana just chuckles softly hearing the tired slur and continues running her hand through Brittany's hair knowing she always acts like she is fit enough but will crash the second her head hits a pillow, she reaches out grabbing the phone she placed on the nightstand and turns to volume a bit up so they will wake up in case something happens in the other room.
She snickers as soft snores immediately filters through the speakers, easily matching Brittany's soft snores and shakes her head reaching behind her to grab her own phone. She scrolls through the pictures, Jason took with her phone and stops with a soft amazed gasp as she sees a picture of them kissing and a burst of colorful fireworks lightning up the sky behind them. ''Holy crap.'' She murmurs softly to herself.
She uploads it to her Insta, immediately tagging Brittany and types out a message.
I bet not even all the fireworks in the world can light up my world like you do.
Four and a half years ago, I heard your name for the very first time, I had to write you a letter and even though I didn't want to at first, I thank god every damn day that I did because if I hadn't I wouldn't have had the chance to meet the amazing woman you are.
After months of writing, you stumbled into my life and ever since that day, my life isn't the same.
They say that, when we meet the other half of our soul, that we will understand why things didn't work out with anyone else. And boy that fits.
Nobody understands me like you do, nobody supports me like you do but most importantly nobody loves me like you do. No matter how much we fight, we always make up the same day, we never let the other go without saying I love you, even in the heat of the fight and one of us storms out to cool off.
Now four years later, we are about to celebrate or third anniversary and because life might become a bit stressful we decided to celebrate it early. The bigger part of the date will still follow, but tonight we went on a gondola ride through Vegas and as seen in the picture, it was just breathtakingly amazing.
Every moment I spend in my girlfriends arms, is a moment that is filled with pure bliss. The second I feel the protectiveness of her hold, I know that no matter what happens, I will always have her support and strength to relay on.
She is the center of my world, the source of my happiness and the holder of my heart, when I'm with her, I finally know what people mean when they talk about true love.
Our relationship isn't based on who the better part is, we balance each other out. We decide together on our future and support each other no matter what path in life we decide to take, we don't stand above or below the other, we stand beside each other, holding hands and face all decisions and rocky paths together.
Britt-Britt, the past almost three years still feel like a dream sometimes, but waking up next to you, gazing into your dazzling blue orbs and watching that little tired smile form on your face wakes me up almost instantly and shows me that it isn't a dream.
Having you in my arms, fast asleep, not knowing what is happening around us like right now, shows me just how much trust and love me, watching you care for our best friends and mami after they all drank a bit too much and knowing you turned your phone into some sort of baby monitor to keep an eye on two of our friends, shows me just how much you care about the little family we build up around us.
You are so selfless but also so filled with love for not only me, but also my mami and friends, it's heartwarming to experience and I definitely hope to feel what I am feeling know forever plus a day.

She places her phone down after hitting publish and pulls Brittany closer as she just groans softly at the movement, she kisses the top of her head, pulling the comforter further up their bodies and slides the hand previously buried in silky blonde hair down a toned back easily finding it's favorite resting spot on the small of her back.
She smiles nuzzling her nose in Brittany's hair as she feels her strong arm just curl around her waist to pull her closer and allows her eyes to slip close as she hears her tired heartfelt murmur. ''Sleep Angel.''
