AN:Hope you enjoy
Just a quick little not to make the chapter a little less confusing-"Hello"- for speaking "Hello"- For thought conversations between Ian and Max.
The school day sucked just as I had predicted. However about an hour before the end of the day Max and I were outside. She was skating up and down this slope. I didn't feel like skating so I was leaning on a wall watching her, when I stopped the four boys from science class watching her.
The next time she came toward me I motioned to her and showed her the four boys watching her. She looked at me "I know what to do" she thought giving a little smirk before pulling a pen and paper out of her pocket and wrote a quick note. She turned it around to show me "Stop spying on me creeps." I giggled and as we walked inside Max through the paper in the bin. The door swung close behind us and we turned around to watch them sift through the trash. The look on their faces was priceless, Max and I collapsed to the floor laughing.
"Good plan"
"Thanks, I know I'm brilliant"
We picked ourselves off the floor and walked to our final class of the day, which was just as bad as all the others.
Once school was done we skated back down the road to Billy's car.
"Get in." He said gruffly
Max and I quickly got in as Billy started the engine. He then pressed the gas hard and we sped out of the parking lot and down to the road to the arcade.
"Be out in two hours or you're skating home." He said before we got out of the car.
Max looked like she was about to argue but I told her we should go. She got out and just as I was about to get fully out he sped away causing me to fall flat on my ass. Frustrated Max flipped him off before helping me up.
Quickly we walked inside, Max making a beeline for Dig Dug. She had played it all weekend and managed to get a new high score. I'm not that into video games so I just watched her as she played.
After a while I got bored and started to wander around the arcade when I stopped the two stalkers.
"Max you won't guess who's here"
"Not now Ian I'm busy"
"It's the two stalkers form early today"
"Really"
"Yeah, their hiding behind a wall watching you"
"Creeps"
I realized then that I had been standing by them for a while and hurried back to Max. We spent the rest of the time playing games not worrying about the two stalkers.
Billy eventually picks us up and we head home. I'd say today was a good day. We met new people and Max beat her high score on Dig Dug.
