Una didn't know what to do. She had this gut feeling that something was wrong, that something was going to happen to her. It had been a few months since she outed herself as an Illyrian, and she was waiting for the repercussions to hit. She trusted those on the ship who knew about her and she had faith they kept it to themselves. It was like a nagging in the back of her mind, a cold chill down her spine.

Sitting with her back against the cool metal wall of the hydroponics bay, Una wiped away the stray tear that ran down her face. She was upset, and she didn't know what to do. Una wanted to cry, she wanted to hit something, but when she thought about it, she felt guilt. Guilt for not telling Starfleet who she was. Her mind was racing, she could feel her pulse pounding so hard that when she closed her eyes, she would swear she could hear the blood rushing through her veins.

The greenery around her helped a little. The smell of jasmine filled her senses, there was a light scent of mint that she found calming. The vines on the pumpkins were thick and light green, a little hairy, but they looked content as they sat that, getting bigger by the day.

There was still the feeling in the pit of her stomach, and she felt sick. It was like the vines of plants were wrapping around her insides and squeezing tightly.

"Funny seeing you here," Erica commented, walking around the corner. "Can I join you?"

"Yeah," Una replied bleakly.

"Cool." Sitting down next to Una, Erica bumped their shoulders and smiled at her. "What's up?"

"Nothing that can be helped. I just have a sinking feeling, and nothing I do to distract myself works."

"If you need a distraction, I can help with that."

Shifting slightly so she was facing Una, Erica pulled her close and smirked.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, Una closed her eyes as Erica's lips pressed against hers, expertly kissing her as her worries faded from her mind.
