Pacing back and forth in the ready room, Una didn't know what to do. She had been butting heads with Erica all week, and it felt very close to hitting the tipping point. They had a past together, and she felt like she was reliving their last conversation, one that hurt her deeply.
Hearing the door hiss open, Una stood tall as Erica stopped in front of her and crossed her arms.
"You wanted to see me, Commander?" Erica said brashly.
"We need to stop whatever this is that's going on between us. Talk to me, please," Una replied, reaching out and putting a hand on Erica's arm.
"I can't talk to you. I haven't been able to since you broke my heart. Was I just nothing to you?"
"Erica, you meant the world to me, and you still do. If I could, I would go back I would do things differently."
Shaking Una's hand off her arm, Erica loudly sighed and made eye contact. "What's done is done, Una."
"I still love you, okay? I've never stopped. Is that what you wanted to hear?"
Stepping forward, Erica pulled Una to her and kissed her, soft lips pressing together heatedly.
