Chapter 181 – Pilot Episode (1)

Zhong Yuhuan skimmed through the comment area and just found all these funny.

What kind of people were these? They were all very self-centered people. They liked to judge and think of others using their own ideas and standards and criticize others from a self-proclaimed moral high ground.

Zhong Yuhuan couldn't care less and didn't let any of those bother her. After she finished browsing Weibo for the show, she closed out of the app and went to drive desert kart with Yang Sen and the rest.

It was, after all, Big Sister Yang's first hands-on reality TV show. Traveling Time's pre-production was completed quickly and the air time was determined.

By the time that Zhong Yuhuan was on her way back from Egypt, the pilot episode was about to be aired on the second day.

The pilot episode focused mainly on the content filmed prior to their departure. It was aimed to help the audience learn more about the guests on the show.

Li Jinyuan was at a filming location and Huo Chengming flew overseas again already.

Zhong Yuhuan, therefore, happily brought out a table-full of snacks and sank into the couch in the mansion. She watched the show that was aired that day on the large screen. When she was done, she bathed and went to bed. She had no idea what had exploded on the web and what kind of crazy words were exchanged on the screen in the channel.

The pilot episode was played in the order of the guests' seniority in the entertainment circle. It started with Ge Mei, then Wen Yongchen, Gu Yuling, and Li Jinyuan.

Li Jinyuan was quick with his packing.

Even the production director couldn't help but ask him from off screen. "You don't want to pack some more? You still have plenty of time."

On the camera, Li Jinyuan's handsome face has been enlarged several folds.

He smiled. On the screen, texts started to scroll.

"OOOOOOOOHHHH, I can't handle this anymore. He's soooo good looking when he smiles!"

"OOOOOOHHHH, I don't care how boring this reality TV show is, I am going to watch it!"

"Oh mi. He looks so tender when he smiles!"

On the camera, Li Jinyuan said, "I wanted to head early to the airport, to wait for someone."

The text screen went crazy all over again. "Who's Lili waiting for?" "Assistant? Agent? Or another guest?" "Not Gu Yuling, right? I just saw them at the same event two days ago."

The camera followed Li Jinyuan all the way out.

Li Jinyuan got inside of the car, headed to the airport, and seriously waited at the airport.

The camera switched to a different one.

Zhong Yuhuan showed up in front of the camera. She had on a warm almond colored coat. Her legs were long and slender. Her hair tied up, exposing her clear forehead and the pretty contour of her cheeks…

She was glowing on the camera.

"Who is this?"

"Oh crap. This little older sister's legs are too pretty! I can play them for a whole year!"

"Is she a new actress? Oh shoot, she's too pretty."

"Her temperament is so good. Even just standing there she looked like someone from a prestigious family!"

"Zhong Yuhuan? Does that mean 'to bring joy'? What a nice name!"

Zhong Yuhuan got into the car quickly as well.

Someone couldn't help but ask, "Are there no clips of little big sister packing her stuff?"

On the camera, they quickly arrived at the airport.

The car door opened and Wei Jie walked out.

The audiences started guessing again. "Isn't that Li's agent? He came to pick someone up? Is it a new person under his wing?"

Wei Jie quickly walked up to greet Zhong Yuhuan. "Miss Zhong."

"Wie-ge."

The texts on the screen became unharmonious all of a sudden. "The way they referred to each other, one's distant and one's close. That meant that one side was keeping a distance purposefully and the other side was trying to get closer." "For sure it's not a new actress then."

The texts continued to scroll and not very many of them were friendly.

Chapter 182 – Pilot Episode (2)

Wei Jie walked in front of Zhong Yuhuan and showed her the way. The two people quickly arrived at the waiting area.

Inside the waiting area, Li Jinyuan's figure was already attention-grabbing. Before Zhong Yuhuan walked up close, he already walked up to her quickly. Smiling at her, he said, "Huanhuan."

The text screen exploded.

"Oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot. Li Jinyuan was waiting for her at the airport?"

"No way! Is Li Jinyuan bringing his real girlfriend onto the show?!"

"Wasn't that the same girl that he walked out of the airport with last time?"

When Li Jinyuan and Zhong Yuhuan boarded the plane, the texts on the screen never stopped.

"That doesn't necessarily mean she was his girlfriend. They might have met on a different show previously."

This lasted all the way until the plane had landed and everyone met at the hotel.

The audiences were starting to get impatient.

"How come the self-introduction hasn't started yet?"

"They are still waiting on one more?"

On the camera, the hotel door swung open and a young man walked through the door quickly.

The minute that he stepped inside, his aura made the text screen explode again.

"Too handsome too handsome too handsome so handsome that I am at a loss for words!"

"Licking the screen! Why would a boy with such temperament not appear on a talent show instead? I want to vote for him!"

As all the texts scrolled through the screen, under the camera, Huo Chengming had already walked quickly up to Zhong Yuhuan and said, "Huanhuan."

"What the heck was going on? He knew her?"

"Oh shoot oh shoot. I want to take her place so badly!"

"Have you all noticed that? He ditched his suitcase as soon as he walked inside."

"I'm a lemon! I feel sour!"

Quickly, everybody started with self-introduction.

There was not much to be said about the celebrities as the audiences already knew who they were. Every time the camera cut to their idol, they'd type a few things and brown nose a little. Every time when it came to a commoner, they'd start picking faults with them.

When it got to Ling Lan.

"Not bad. She's quite good looking and seemed poise."

When it came to Yin Qiqi.

"Emmmmm, that's a lot of plastic surgery. And a little over the top of faking cute."

When it got to Zhong Yuhuan, the responses were very bipolar.

"I love her temperament. She totally stood out amongst everyone."

Then, everybody went to bed and it was the next day.

Chapter 183 – Pilot Episode (3)

"Zhong Yuhuan's face with no makeup was unrivaled."

"She was almost cute when she went downstairs yawning."

Quickly, everybody got into their respective cars.

As Zhong Yuhuan yawned, Li Jinyuan spoke up.

"OOOOOHHHHH. I am so jealous! I want to lean on Li Jinyuan's shoulder too!"

"Li Jinyuan is suuuuuch a gentleman. OOOOOHHHHH. He is back from England, indeed!"

Quickly, Huo Chengming, too, had spoken.

"That was interesting."

"Are they fighting over each other to be nice to her?"

Then it was the part at the night market when Yin Qiqi went up to Li Jinyuan while he was trying to pick something out at the booth.

"'Don't you have hands?' LOLOLOL! Little Boss Huo is such a straight guy! I have never seen anything as straight as him before!"

"Little Boss Huo and Li Jinyuan should receive the title of 'Tramp Detector'!"

"Okay, I'll bite…"

The amount of text on the screens continued to go up and up.

And "Zhong Yuhuan received two votes* also went up on most trending list.

A blogger took a screenshot and analyzed the situation.

"I can't be the only one who knows this! I want everyone to see this too! When Li Jinyuan voted for Zhong Yuhuan, she stealthily kicked him! When she found out that Huo Chengming also voted for her, she kicked him too! Then she kicked both of them one more time at the very end! She totally looked dumbfounded, distant, and I-am-mad. Chapter 184 – He's at the right age to look for a girlfriend (1)

When Zhong Yuhuan woke up from her sleep, everything had changed drastically.

First, she received a call from Assistant Zhao. On the other end of the phone, Assistant Zhao wasn't sure what to make of it. "So you went to film Miss Yang's reality TV show recently."

He knew of her itinerary, but didn't know exactly what was the purpose of her trip. He knew now after he had seen the most trending list and the screenshots from the videos.

Zhong Yuhuan lied straight through her teeth. "This is no longer the age of focusing only on the business end of things. As the head of a corporation, sometimes it's important to show one's face. It'd double as advertisement and make our brand more known by the public and also establish a positive image at the same time."

Upon hearing that, Assistant Zhao agreed with her wholeheartedly and said to her, "You are so right on that."

Having said that, Assistant Zhao couldn't help but chuckle. "In that case, we have saved so much on advertisement, and on top of that, you can make money as well. Best of both worlds!"

Zhong Yuhuan was very pleased from hearing that. She was making stuff up, but Assistant Zhao, being a good assistant, just blindly agreed with her.

"Do you have any other plans recently? Do you need some help with making arrangements?" asked Assistant Zhao from the other end.

Zhong Yuhuan thought about it for a little bit and said, "No, this reality TV show is all there is left. But it's an overkill to have you help out."

Assistant Zhao had been working with Zhong Chi for the longest time and had been a very competent right-hand person of his. It'd be overkill to have him assist her in her reality TV show.

Assistant Zhao had been getting along very well with Zhong Yuhuan this entire time. Overkill or not, he just wanted to do something for Zhong Yuhuan and keep his assistant title.

Zhong Yuhuan chatted a little bit with him and finally decided to have Assistant Zhao go with her to her filming.

After Zhong Yuhuan got off the phone, she finally had a chance to surf the web.

Five out of the ten top trended news have to do with the show that they were in.

One of them was "Zhong Yuhuan received two votes" and there was a label of "hot" behind the title.

Then there were "Li Jinyuan", "Little Boss Huo", "Gu Yuling on a reality TV show", and "Zhong Yuhuan's curves.".

Zhong Yuhuan was baffled.

She understood the first few ones. But what was the last one "Zhong Yuhuan's curves"?

Baffled, she clicked into it and saw a picture of her in her swimsuit in the first Weibo link. Somewhere in between, there was the picture of her that went on the most trended list from before.

Then she looked at the commenting section—

Zhong Yuhuan probably has no shortage of money. I've heard that she only cost the production team 50% of what they normally would pay a guest. So she is probably rich. The type who are VIP wherever they go. They obviously know each other before they went on the show… would they all be from some prestigious family and possibly grew up together? These scenes made up for the lack of Zhong Yuhuan as of late, and he was able to see a different side of her.

He was one with a lot of self-discipline. Going to bed early and waking up early was seared into his bones. During the first few years that he had moved out from Ding Qiuyue, he would even develop anxiety if he didn't follow his schedule.

After he had turned off his computer, Lang Jinzhi walked toward the bathroom. As he was walking, he thought about it for a bit and picked up his cellphone.

His WeChat had only been used for work communication. Ever since he had started his friends' circle, he had only posted some official announcements and nothing else.

And just like that, the filming of the second season has begun.

The location of the second season was set in England. As far as Zhong Yuhuan was concerned, she couldn't be more familiar with England.

"I am coming to pick you up, and we can head to the airport together," said Li Jinyuan from the other end.

Huo Chengming even took half a day off specifically to scroll through them in his office. Li Jinyuan always used his break time in the dressing room to read. Further, he'd smile as he read. Therefore, it was very necessary that they went to the airport together.

Today happened to be the day that episode 9 of Li Jinyuan's talent show was aired. Li Jinyuan had already completely forgotten about that show. When he was on his way out of his studio, he barely had time to turn and ask his assistant, "How is it?"

The assistant was very baffled. "What?" She asked.

"How do I look?"

The assistant looked Li Jinyuan up and down. Li Jinyuan had on a light tan Burberry classic wind breaker, which made him appeared even more strong and slender, clean cut and full of spry. He was handsome and still a bit boyish looking. When he smiled a little, he was the walking example of "puppy love". If he walked out like that, it'd cause his fans to shriek their heads off?

The assistant stuttered as she walked, "Nice… very nice…"

Li Jinyuan finally felt better and got inside of the car. They headed toward the Zhong's mansion with the production crew followed closely behind them.

Zhong Yuhuan was already standing outside of the mansion with Huo Chengming and her luggage in tow.

As soon as Li Jinyuan's car got close, he could easily spot Huo Chengming. Li Jinyuan's look changed curiously almost immediately. Perhaps affected by his khaki colored wind breaker, his face looked to be a sort of mud yellow color.

The cameraman, following behind him, faithfully recorded all the changes.

"Let's take my car and go together," said Li Jinyuan in a very gentlemanly way after he had recollected his emotions that had temporarily escaped him.

Zhong Yuhuan was the first to get inside of the car, followed closely behind her was Huo Chengming.

It was very spacious inside of the car with the extended cabin. Zhong Yuhuan skillfully got into the third row, curled up, and laid down on the seat. She put her own jacket over herself to catch up with some sleep. They had already arrived at the airport by the time she had woken up.

There were already a lot of fans waiting at the airport lobby. Zhong Yuhuan sat up groggily. She wanted to adopt her method last time of running away first with Huo Chengming.

Except the trick didn't work this time.

Zhong Yuhuan didn't insist on it either. She put on her jacket and got out of the car.

Chapter 189 – Lang Jinzhi's sister (3)

Huo Chengming and Li Jinyuan pretty much flanked Zhong Yuhuan on both sides, and they walked quickly into the departure area.

When the three of them walked together, they'd attract attention wherever they went.

Li Jinyuan's fans were the first to spot them. As soon as they got closer, they started shrieking.

"Li Jinyuan! Li Jinyuan!"

"OOOOOHhhhhh, Little Brother Li is so handsome today!"

There were a few oddities among those voices. They were shouting, "Little Boss Huo! Look over here! Look at me!"

The cold and ruthless Huo Chengming didn't even so much as tilt his head. While Li Jinyuan was waving to his fans, Huo Chengming turned his head and talked to Zhong Yuhuan. "Is it too noisy for you?"

"A little bit," said Zhong Yuhuan softly.

Huo Chengming asked, "Would you like me to cover your ears for you?"

Zhong Yuhuan was stunned.

She thought to herself, what did he mean by that? With his hands?

The idea quickly flashed past Zhong Yuhuan's head.

Huo Chengming suddenly lifted up his hands. He did not, after all, cover up Zhong Yuhuan's ears with hands. Instead, he walked forward under the camera.

With his cold and stern look, he lifted his hands and placed an earmuff on Zhong Yuhuan's head. The earmuff was in one piece and looked a lot like those ones meant for the cold winters in the north except that it was pink and has two bunny years on top of it.

His motion was very gentle.

Zhong Yuhuan, "?"

The fans in the airport lobby went quiet for a moment, then all of a sudden, they exploded into an even louder screech.

"OOOOOOHHHHH. Little Boss Huo's boyfriend power!"

"OOOOHHHHHH. Little Boss Huo, touch my ears please!"

"Huanhuan's bunny ears! I think I am going to die! OOOHHHHH!"

Zhong Yuhuan reached her hand up and touched it.

There were two fuzzy ears, sticking straight up. Weren't these bunny ears?

Zhong Yuhuan turned immediately and stared at Huo Chengming fiercely.

Huo Chengming, with an innocent look, lowered his voice and said in a voice that was deep and full of the charm of a man, "It wasn't me. My secretary bought them."

Meaning, it wasn't his fault.

Li Jinyuan turned and took a look at her. He smiled and said, "It looks very good on you, Huanhuan."

"You mean looking like a giant rabbit?" said Zhong Yuhuan, unamused. She was like a little girl inside of her, but being looked at by all these people while wearing the bunny ears, she oddly felt very provocative.

Oh, psst psst psst!

It wasn't provocative!

Li Jinyuan nodded and said, "Yup. Perfect. I happen to have a bag of carrots inside my suitcase."

Zhong Yuhuan, "…"

Having said that, Li Jinyuan looked past Huo Chengming and turned to face his fans.

He lifted up his finger and placed it over his lips as he said to them, "Shhhhh. Please keep your volume down so you don't disturb the other travelers."

He was very charming when he did that.

And just how could his fans remain silent after that? They only wanted to flip the ceiling of the airport.

They screamed Li Jinyuan's name at the top of their lungs.

Li Jinyuan smiled in resignation, then as though it couldn't be more natural, he put his arm around Zhong Yuhuan behind her back and quickly walked forward with her.

As he walked forward quickly, he turned around and waved at his fans with his left hand. "See you next time when my show is aired!"

By now, Huo Chengming was no longer in a rush.

Narrowing his eyes, he watched as Li Jinyuan walked forward with Zhong Yuhuan in his arm. He fell half a step behind them and watched the bunny ears bounce up and down as Zhong Yuhuan walked forward quickly.

Huo Chengming's heart was all crumbled up.

His fingers tightened, and his brain was tensed. He was not able to look away at all.

How could Huanhuan… be so cute?

Huo Chengming suddenly felt that he had difficulty in breathing.

Was it because there were too many people inside of the airport and making it too stuffy inside?

The feeling of lack of oxygen made his heart pound even faster than it was.

Chapter 190 – Arriving in London (1)

After they had gotten off the plane, all of the guests on the show met up at the airport.

Yin Qiqi is a flexible one. As soon as she saw Zhong Yuhuan, not only did she not show any signs of displeasure, she walked up to her happily and passionately. She was just short of putting her arm through Zhong Yuhuan's.

Unfortunately, with both Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming on both sides of Zhong Yuhuan, Yin Qiqi wasn't even able to get that close to Zhong Yuhuan at all.

Zhong Yuhuan finally lost the two of them and was the first to walk over to the window to order their cars. This was the first time she has been to this place. After all, when she visited London previously, she never needed to worry about a ride. All she needed to do was to give Chen Mingye a call and someone would come to pick her up.

Luckily, as much as she never rented a car before, she was able to communicate quite fluently with the locals. The process posted no difficulty for her.

The camera loyally recorded the entire process.

After she had placed her order, she took everyone to the VIP lounge.

Yin Qiqi asked, "How much does this place cost?"

Their tickets to London were economy class provided by the production crew.

Naturally, that would not include the benefit of using the VIP lounge.

Zhong Yuhuan didn't even turn her head when she said, "Yes."

She wasn't a VIP here, but Chen Mingye was. With her experience last time, she casually showed the card and the workers invited her over to the VIP lounge.

"There's some beverages and snacks as well. Would you like some? I can go get some. We can wait for the chauffeur here. The car should be ready right about the time that we are done," asked Zhong Yuhuan.

"Will we have enough time?" asked Ge Mei.

Zhong Yuhuan's delicacy was not invasive, but her tone was decisive and very convincing.

Ge Mei nodded and placed her order. "Black tea. We are in England after all."

"I can use some coffee. Kind of tired," said Wen Yongchen as he gave Zhong Yuhuan a tired smile.

Li Jinyuan maintained his persona from his earlier interview and naturally said, "Black tea."

Huo Chengming, "Water."

Lin Lan turned, took a quick look at him, and also said, "Water for me as well."

Gu Yuling smiled and said, "Same as Gu Mei-ije, black tea for me too."

Yin Qiqi was the only one who asked for hot cocoa.

"I'll go with you," said Huo Chengming as he stood up.

"I'll go too. Two of you can't carry all of them," said Li Jinyuan as he put down his jacket, rolled up his sleeves, and stood up.

This time, nobody else offered to go with them. After all, everybody was exhausted from traveling. If the cameras weren't rolling, they wouldn't even have the energy to say a word.

In the airport, all of the beverages went inside the same type of cuts and each cupholder could carry up to two beverages.

Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming each took four cups and Zhong Yuhuan carried a small tray with all sorts of British snacks for the afternoon tea.

When everybody sat down in the lounge, they had some hot beverages and some snacks to tie them over. They all felt much better than they did earlier.

Wen Yongchen and Gu Mei were not stingy about their praises. They would not stop praising Zhong Yuhuan.

"Yuhuan is so considerate! I would like to bring her with me on my future travels!" said Gu Mei with a smile.

"Yuhuan knows how to pick them. All these snacks are quite good. When I came here in March, I went with my friends for afternoon tea. A lot of the snacks don't mesh well with the Chinese palette," said Wen Yongchen.

After all of the praises and before Yin Qiqi and the others had a chance to say anything, Zhong Yuhuan's cellphone rang.

"Our chauffeur is here," said Zhong Yuhuan. "Let's head out."

Everybody was more or less done resting. They felt much better and were ready to walk back out with their own luggage in tow.

After they've fitted all of their luggage into the car, they divided up into two cars and headed toward their destination hotel.

Chapter 191 – Arriving in London (2)

The hotel was conveniently located and had a grandeur décor in the style of an English palace. Yin Qiqi walked inside and marveled the décor. She was, after all, just a little model and had never stayed in such a fancy hotel before. Keep in mind that fancy hotels overseas could easily cost upward of thousands of USD.

"Is this hotel expensive?" asked Yin Qiqi.

"We got a discount," said Zhong Yuhuan.

Yin Qiqi still didn't believe her.

She wasn't picking on Zhong Yuhuan on purpose, but everything coming out of Zhong Yuhuan just sounded so fake. She trusted that the audiences would no longer be blinded toward her after this episode has aired.

"A hotel like this will grant a discount? How inexpensive would that be?" asked Yin Qiqi nervously. "How much money do we have left?"

"We still have 3,000 USD and 1,000 pounds…" said Zhong Yuhuan nonchalantly.

Yin Qiqi laughed and said, "That's incredible. It's almost like we have spent nothing so far. Do we pay for this hotel when we check out?"

"This hotel is very difficult to book, so I used my personal credit card. The production team will reimburse me later."

Stunned, Yin Qiqi asked, "Isn't that against the rules?"

"We've already marked the amount down so it's not against the rules."

Which star wants to suffer when they travel? Of course it's best if they could stay at fancy places.

Zhong Yuhuan booked a suite this time. It has three separate rooms and a living room. All eight of them would stay in it together.

When everybody went upstairs with their room key and walked inside of the room, they were all speechless.

The hotel's décor leaned heavily toward last century's British style. At first glance, everybody would enjoy a place that was both pretty and cozy. Especially for someone like Yin Qiqi, it played perfectly into her vanity.

Then, it was time to divide up the rooms.

The girls were even happier after they had divided up the rooms. They were apparently very satisfied with this place.

Zhong Yuhuan handed over the itinerary to them at this point in time. "Take a look. Let me know if there's anywhere that you don't want to visit or any places you want to visit in addition to this. Let me know now and we can make the adjustments."

Ge Mei took a quick look and was impressed. "This was… very well done…"

Listed out clearly on the itinerary was their travelling path, the type of transportation that they'd be taking, what kind of shops that they could shop at for food. Everything was listed out in detail.

This was Yin Qiqi's first time to England and Lin Lan's as well.

If neither one of them had any comments, neither would anyone else. As such, the itinerary has been finalized. As tourists, they would be visiting Hyde Park and have afternoon tea. Then, they headed toward St. Paul's Cathedral, and then for a ride on the Bateaux on Thames…

"Would you like to take some touristy photos?" asked Zhong Yuhuan.

Ge Mei and the others paused for a second and wasn't quite sure what she meant by that.

"If you all want to take pictures at all the photo spots, then…" Zhong Yuhuan stood up and started dragging over her suitcase. Li Jinyuan was the closest one to her, and he quickly reached out, dragged it over for her, and put it down flat on the floor.

Zhong Yuhuan opened it up so the others could see what was inside.

They were all clothing. If one was to look at them carefully, one would see that they were all traditional Chinese costumes.

"Would you like to pick a set of traditional costumes? I brought quite a few with me."

For the purpose that a reality TV show shouldn't be too dull, Zhong Yuhuan gave it some thought and brought a case of costumes with her.

Ge Mei and the others paused again.

Ge Mei was the first to recollect herself and said, "Yes. Let me borrow a set."

Gu Yuling smiled and said, "I have never worn costumes like this outside of filming, especially not when I am travelling. I will pass on it."

Yin Qiqi was a little tempted, but then she recalled all the clothes that she had prepared herself. She probably didn't need to borrow any of Zhong Yuhuan's.

Lin Lan and Yin Qiqi both declined as well.

Zhong Yuhuan nodded and handed a set over to Ge Mei.

After they had settled in, they left the hotel for dinner.

Chapter 192 – Arriving in London (3)

Even their restaurant was booked ahead of time. As much as English food was not exciting to anyone, they still picked a restaurant that was full of local colors.

The server showed them to their seat, and when everyone was flipping through their menus, someone walked over quickly and said in a pleasant voice, "Miss Heloise!"

Everybody looked up and saw a tall English man walking over to them briskly. He had on a suit and a name tag on the front of his chest. The other servers bowed at him as he walked past.

Zhong Yuhuan stood up slowly and hugged him.

The man turned to a server and had him bring over a bottle of red wine.

The man looked around at the cameramen and asked, "Filming?"

Zhong Yuhuan nodded. "Yes, we have informed you previously."

"Ah. That Chinese reality TV show filming crew? I didn't think you'd be a part of it."

With the exception of Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming, everybody else looked at Zhong Yuhuan talking to the English man, dumbfounded. Her English was very fluent. The rest of them could only catch a few words in the conversation.

The man left after a little while.

After that, they received a few more dishes than they had ordered. The server said in broken Chinese. "New dishes. New chef. Michelin." Then, in English, "For Miss Heloise."

That wasn't what Huo Chengming cared about. "Who was that?" he asked.

"Langdon's brother. We met a few times before."

Huo Chengming and Li Jinyuan searched their memories for this "Langdon" person and their faces turned into different shades of greyish black.

Langdon. Wasn't he that English boy who professed his love for Huanhuan?

Huanhuan had even met his brother?

"Are you still keeping in touch with Langdon?" Huo Chengming blurted out.

Zhong Yuhuan nodded and said, "Of course."

Huo Chengming shut his mouth tightly.

Li Jinyuan's look was a bit peculiar as well, but he hid his emotions well. He smiled and said, "Let's have dinner first. Then we can head back and get some rest."

Everybody was baffled at what was going on.

Ge Mei somewhat sensed that Zhong Yuhuan seemed not to be as simple as she had thought…

What they didn't know was that that was just the beginning of it all.

Zhong Yuhuan had lived there for a few years and knew many people. She has very strong networking skills. She might not be very close to the others, but they all have a good impression of her and are willing to be her friend. They'd all go up and greet her when they run into each other.

Zhong Yuhuan didn't eat too much.

She had very little English food when she was living there. Her interest for them didn't grow much over the years. Li Jinyuan watched it all quietly.

When everybody was done eating, Zhong Yuhuan went to pay.

"We got a discount," said Zhong Yuhuan with a smile.

Yin Qiqi couldn't help but say, "We really get discounts everywhere we go."

Zhong Yuhuan shrugged.

Getting back to the hotel, the girls didn't rush to remove their makeup.

Li Jinyuan took a trip downstairs. After he returned, he turned on the electric stove inside the little kitchen and put on a skillet.

Gu Yuling, curious, asked, "What are you doing?"

Li Jinyuan rolled up his sleeves and said, "Zhong Yuhuan didn't eat too much. I am making her some snacks."

There was a lot of information in that sentence. Gu Yuling's eyes widened. Finally, she lamented, "You know how to cook?"

"Yes, I had made an effort to learn it in the past."

Having said that, Li Jinyuan turned around and took a quick glance at Zhong Yuhuan, who was sitting on the couch, leaning to one side.

By now, Huo Chengming had taken off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves as well. The mature man's feel was gone, and now he only seemed fierce and somewhat inexperienced.

"Give me the knife. I'll do the cutting." He said.

Li Jinyuan handed it over to him.

Stumped, Gu Yuling thought to herself how come the two of them seemed so familiar with working with each other?

As though the two of them had worked together many times like this in the past to cook for someone.

They went doing what they were doing for about half an hour and the aroma of food came from the kitchen.

Zhong Yuhuan looked up without thinking. "What are you two doing?"

Huo Chengming came over, an apron in hand.

When he reached Zhong Yuhuan, he bent over a little and put the apron on Zhong Yuhuan.

When he put the apron on her, his hands were around Zhong Yuhuan's waist. He looked like he was her in his arms.

"Have some snacks. Don't get your clothes dirty."

Even Gu Yuling was envious.

How could he be that thoughtful?

What kind of a show was this?

Chapter 193

The next morning, the ladies got up, they washed up and applied makeup on their faces. When they were done getting ready, they headed downstairs for breakfast.

It took Zhong Yuhuan and Ge Mei longer to prepare. Yin Qiqi instantly regretted her decision to wear bright and flashy clothes the moment she saw Zhong Yuhuan walking down the stairs. Yin Qiqi was wearing a V-neck sweater underneath and a red overcoat. Yin Qiqi had seen Zhong Yuhuan wear red clothes before, and after that, she was confident that she could pull off the look better than Zhong Yuhuan. The V-neck sweater accentuates her curves beautifully and the bright red overcoat immediately catches other people's attention.

However, her plan had gone down the drain when she saw what Zhong Yuhuan was wearing. She had become a foil.

Zhong Yuhuan told them that she wanted to wear traditional Han Dynasty clothing. Yin Qiqi merely thought that Zhong Yuhuan was joking around; she never expected that Zhong Yuhuan would actually wear traditional clothing from the Han Dynasty.

She was wearing a pink and white-colored robe and a snow-white cloak over the robe.

Zhong Yuhuan's clothing was much more eye-catching than hers.

There was a lump stuck in her throat, she could neither swallow nor cough it out.

When Ling Lan heard people whispering in low voices, she turned towards the commotion and saw Zhong Yuhuan. She frowned when she saw Zhong Yuhuan's attire.

Ling Lan lacked presence during the first episode of the program, and she didn't achieve the desired result after the program was broadcasted. Therefore, she invested more effort into her appearance during this recording.

However, it seemed like her efforts were futile.

Ling Lan had deliberately worn a white overcoat for this episode. Her plan was to give off a retro-styled atmosphere. Her attire actually suited her quite well and it gave off a beautiful, graceful, and pure aura.

But Zhong Yuhuan wore the same color as her.

In truth, Gu Yuling never tried to look sexy, graceful, beautiful, or smart. Instead, Gu Yuling had always aimed to have a charming and lovable image. Even in variety shows, she dressed like a cute and delicate young girl.

She knew that her attire would probably bump her up in the list of trending actresses by the time this episode aired.

Gu Yuling immediately realized Ge Mei's plan with one glance. She suddenly became even more regretful about her choice of clothes today.

She had also acted in many period dramas, and if she could evoke the audiences' memories of her in that drama, then it would be great.

But it was pointless for any of them to regret their decision now.

"Are they ready yet?" Zhong Yuhuan asked.

She was asking about the guys.

"They're already waiting for us outside," Gu Yuling said while she quickly concealed her emotions and thoughts.

Zhong Yuhuan nodded her head and walked out the door with Ge Mei. The others followed after them in an unhurried manner. They watched as Zhong Yuhuan's skirt fluttered slightly with every step she took; their hearts immediately started to itch after watching that. They believed that if they wore the same outfit as Zhong Yuhuan, they would've looked just as beautiful and fairy-like as her.

Li Jinyuan and the three were all waiting outside in the corridor outside the room for the ladies to get ready.

It took the ladies longer to apply makeup and change, so they decided to wait outside the room for them to get ready. After all, it was somewhat awkward for them to stay in the room with them.

When they heard footsteps approaching them, they turned their heads and looked in the direction of the sound.
