That night, sleep evaded the whole Halliwell clan. Most of the family were worried what Wyatt and Sam had in store for the world now there was no limit to their power. Piper and Leo, however, we're beyond heartbroken their son had chosen this corrupted path, where a twisted sense of righteousness was leading them down to a place there would be no return from. Even Wyatt and Sam themselves were lying awake, cuddling, staring at the ceiling, a sigh escaping them every now and again. This was only the beginning of a long journey they were forced to take to ensure their children would be alright… or so they firmly believed.
"Hey, I thought it was my turn this morning" said Wyatt orbing down to the kitchen to find Sam working on breakfast for their little troop. "Trying to steal my thunder, are you?" he kissed her neck, caressing the sides of her hips.
"Oh, it's alright. Been awake since five so I might as well" she said in a saddened tone, which she tried to hide with a forced smile.
"Alright" he turned her to him holding her by the hips. "What's wrong?" he kissed her nose. "If it's about what happened at the manor, stop worrying. We'll handle it" he pressed his forehead to hers. "As for the family" he sighed. "They'll just have to find a way to see things our way" she kept silence, still taking deep breaths, trying to go back to chopping veggies. "Come on, It's gotta be important or you wouldn't even bother to try and hide it from me…" he grabbed her chin playfully. "Which I gotta say you suck at" he smiled searching for her eyes.
"I'm late" she told him, visibly gulping.
"Oh… I see" he hugged her closer to him. "How late?"
"About 10 days" she rubbed her face with her palms in frustration. "I just hadn't noticed… we have so much going on and…"
"Hey, stop. It's alright. We'll handle it"
"No, it's not. We've got so much to do right now. Not sure it's the best time to be handling something like this. Plus, Violet isn't even supposed to come for about four more years"
"Well, yeah, but we're changing the future, so we can expect some unexpected turns" he looked deeply into her eyes and smiled. "We'll find out, ok? And whatever the result, we'll welcome it"
"I'm so sorry, I…"
"Hey, You're the last person I need to tell our family comes first. Besides… I'm pretty sure I had something to do with it" he laughed, she fought off a faint chuckle and slapped his chest playfully. "In fact…" he grabbed her and orbed to their bedroom. He gently pushed her to the bed, kissing every inch of his beloved.
"So you really want to get us in trouble, huh?" he chuckled, muffled by his lips not leaving her skin. She smiled and closed her eyes, savoring his touch.
"We're always careful, but…" he started to unbutton her shirt. "Just one more round won't make any difference"
"You'd like to believe that, wouldn't you?" she laughed. A soft moan escaping her as he made his way up to her lips. Once he found her lips, there was no turning back. Breakfast would have to wait.
He grabbed a hold of her right hip and pressed on it hard, making her tremble. In spite of that, her mind kept getting in the way. He noticed and caressed her face, trying to soothe her thoughts. She turned to his hand and kissed it repeatedly, closing her eyes as she did so. His hand traveled back down, caressing along the side of her body.
"You are…" his hand traveled down beyond her hip. "Without a doubt…" he massaged the inside of her thigh. "The most beautiful thing…" he planted kissed on her forehead, cheeks and nose. "On the planet" his hand now caressed her lower abdomen and… mission accomplished. Her eyes sunk deep into his, caressing his face, her touch as gentle as his.
"How do you do that?" she wondered in awe. "How do you make me feel like everything's gonna be ok after feeling like the ground was crumbling beneath me?"
"I just…" he reached for her hand. "Tangle my fingers in yours" he did as he was saying. "And remind you…" he kissed her hand, pressing his lips to her skin. "That I will never leave you side, come what may" he pulled her hand to his chest. "This heart beats for you… and you alone" he kissed her hand once more. "And it always will"
She pulled him closer to her and kissed him as if he were this precious, sacred thing in her hands, and to her, he was nothing less than that.
As their kissing grew deeper, he climbed on top of her caressing the length of her side again. She wrapped her legs around him, decidedly not letting go, as he continued to undress her. Soon, their bodies began their sweet symphony. Music only they could make, entwining their bodies as much as they entwined their souls every second of every minute.
His body pushed deeper into her depths as the air around them grew increasingly thicker, harder to take in. It was an insane feeling, having had this wonderful creature so many times and still crave it this much. She reached to kiss his shoulder as he made his way to her neck, kissing it tenderly, igniting every inch of her being. This is where and when he truly felt like a king, wrapped around his queen, around his kingdom. He held on to her, holding her ever closer, the faintest hint of fear touching his mind and soul. What would he ever do if he lost her? It was such a silly thought to have in the midst of their passion, but there it snuck around the corners of his mind nonetheless.
Both lovers kept devouring each other in every way humanly possible. They sat facing each other, pulling each other close, digging the tips of their fingers into each other's flesh, as things around them started to have an unexpected reaction to their immeasurable passion. As their mutual release grew closer… and closer… the mirror shattered… her head tilted back as she clung on to him… an armchair was crushed to pieces as if compacted by an invisible giant hand… he felt her hips slowly rising over and over between his fingers… the headboard started to crack in several places… as they welcomed the culmination of their sweet encounter, cracks started to decorate the walls around them and didn't stop running in every direction, till both dropped down on the bed, exhausted and breathless.
"That was…" she looked around. "New" she panted.
"Maybe the longer we have these powers… the stronger they get?" Wyatt asked catching his breath himself.
"I don't know, but I kinda liked that chair" Sam kissed him square on the lips. "Gotta pee" she said walking to the bathroom.
After a quick pee, she was walking back into the room, when she felt her head exploding with pain. She held her head between her hands and leaned on the door frame, sliding down to her knees.
"Wyatt…" she called out, but then she looked up to see Wyatt holding his head just as she was, clearly in a lot of pain as well. She shook her head, feeling dizzy as she crawled towards him. "Wyatt, honey" he had his eyes closed. Whatever it was, it was hitting him the hardest or maybe she was just holding on out of despair to help him. She shook her head again trying to shake off the pain and felt her nose dripping. She wiped it with the back of her hand and saw a shinning trail of blood spread down to her wrist. She held Wyatt's arm as he kept writhing in pain, having fallen off the bed. She bent back in pain herself unable to hold whatever this was for much longer, trying with all her might to stop herself from screaming. She could hear Wyatt grunting in pain and a tear escaped her as everything around her stated to turn slowly dark.
"Your majesties, fight back. Whoever this is, whatever this is, you can overcome it" Vizkaroth was whispering into their minds. He had shimmered in just a second later, having heard the chaos in their heads and was trying to help them snap out of it. They were powerful, sure, but they still needed to learn how to control their new abilities. "Focus! Pain is beneath you. Find the one responsible and make them pay"
Things started to come out of the shadows and the two lovers found each other, reaching for each other's hand, lying on the floor at weird angles, convulsing, grunting thru the pain, their eyes turned pitch black and they put all their effort into finding the source of their pain.
"That's it. Follow the trail to its source" Vizkaroth kept whispering. It felt like an outer body experience. They could see their bodies from above, their house and then city lights on end, until they recognized a single house: Aunt Carol's.
Still shaking, they held each other's hand tight and opened their eyes.
"How can she still be affecting us like this?" asked Wyatt, still shaking; as far as they knew the Nexus should shield them from any kind of spell they threw at them.
"She's using the blood spell, isn't she?" Sam's voice slightly quavering as she took loads of pain cursing through her whole body. "The one used on the potion to destroy our bloodline" Viz nodded.
"By attacking her own blood, she managed to break thru the protection of the Nexus"
"Why him though?" Sam tried standing up, but her knees buckled. Wyatt held her as steady as he could manage, holding on himself.
"You're one now. If she tries to destroy you, she'll take you both down" Viz waved a hand and dark robes clothed them, getting them ready to attack. There was a loud cry from the children's rooms and both parents turned their way. "You need to stop her!" Viz said firmly.
"Check if they're alright… I have to deal with Carol"
"I'll be there if you need me" Wyatt said still taking deep steadying breaths, grunts escaping them both as their foreheads touched before she aeroported away to her Aunt's.
She appeared before Aunt Carol who was down in her basement, behind a wooden table where vials, herbs and a cauldron were scattered about. Without a word, her eyes still solid black, she blew everything away, except one thing: The potion in the cauldron. She twisted her fingers, shaping it into a liquid ball, floating in front of her aunt. Her look murderous.
"How… dare… you…?" Sam floated two feet above ground, coming menacingly closer; her aunt backing away from the potion bubble, dangerously close to her face. "How could you use this… to hurt us?"
"Lucas told me what he saw. I knew it was only a matter of time before you were corrupted like your mother was" she breathed heavily. "When I found out you killed her, I knew it was time to put a stop to it. I can't let you cause any more damage"
"You willingly abandoned me and my brother all of our lives, and nowyou feel like you're entitled to intervene?"
"I already let our family hurt more people than they should have. I won't do it again"
"I could kill you right now…" Sam's mouth slightly twitched in anger. "I could just shove this potion down your throat or froze you to death…"
"Your water and wind control won't be able to take me down before I take you down first" her aunt shot back, standing her ground.
"Maybe so, but…" Sam threw flames at a nearby shelving unit, setting it on fire. "I've picked up a few new tricks" Carol's kids ran down the stairs and stopped by the door as they saw the floating threat in front of their mother.
"Leave her alone!" said the girl, throwing an energy ball and orbing random things to hit Sam with, none of them making any kind of damage. Lucas stood there, unmoving, while Sam grinned, waving a reproving finger to them all.
"Don't be afraid, children!" Carol yelled at her children.
"Such unwise advice" Sam held her evil grin and jumped on the kids, sending them against the wall, pinning Lucas down, while keeping a hold on the potion bubble. "Tell me Lucas, would you kill for your family? Cause I would kill for mine" Lucas had tears in his eyes, he tried escaping her grip on his neck, but he couldn't shake it off. "Uh-uh"
"Leave him alone!" Carol pleaded.
"Like you left my family alone, after not giving a damn whether we lived or died?"
"I'm sorry!" Lucas shouted. "I should have never helped the demons get to you"
"Mmmh… at least he's sorry" Sam turned to Carol, without letting go of Lucas' neck. "You will stay away from my family or you just might find that your potion" she made the potion almost collide with her face as she backed away from it. "found its way to the rest of yours"
"You don't scare me" she shot back in an unconvincing voice. Sam let go of Lucas and even helped him up. Then withdrew the potion bubble from her face, as she made her way to face her. She whispered close to her ear.
"Are you really sure about that?" Sam raised a hand and created an air bubble around Lucas' head, suffocating him.
"Stop it!"
"Did I make myself clear?" she walked away to where she had first appeared, ruffling the fabric of her dress. "I rather like this dress" she smiled as if she wasn't suffocating an eleven-year-old only a few feet away. "Are…we…clear? He really doesn't have much time for you to decide" Carol hesitated for a moment…
"OK. OK. I'll stay away from your family. I promise"
"Pinky promise?"
"Please" she pleaded now, as Lucas fell to the ground.
"Good" she said coldly, taking the air bubble, walking towards him. She squatted down and took his pulse. "He'll live" she walked away again. "Not that he didn't have that coming" She protected them with shields and then threw a powerful shadow blast around the room, obliterating everything in sight. "You've been warned…you will notbe warned again" she aeroported back home.
