Here's chapter 10, hope you enjoy! I do not own Stranger Things.

Billy's eyes were burning...blue fire and flickering with a madness she'd never imagined. He had a wolfish grin on his face, his teeth were no longer his own, instead they were bright white and sharp...sharklike in fact.

The girls bathroom was now filled with vines reaching and clawing up the walls, red tinted and murderous. The sinks and stalls had all been smashed and cracked, splintering all over. The air was hot and smelled of rotting leaves and flesh, the sounds of ungodly creatures screamed and squalled in the air outside, almost as if they were aware of the fresh meat in their midst. "Can you see me now Pet?" A hand closed around her throat stopping her gasp of horror, he licked his lips...his tongue was bloody. "It's been too long Pet, I've missed you" His voice hisses through the broken silence of the Upside Down. She tried to scream but he smashed his mouth to hers, biting her lips and drawing blood. She whimpered and pushed at his chest and shoulders, beginning to claw at him with her nonexistent nails as he began to suck her blood from her bleeding lips. He finally pulled away, lips dripping crimson and smirking. "You're delicious kitten." To her horror and panic he drops his teeth to her throat and sinks them in, groaning in pleasure as he did. White hot pain filled her, burning through her veins like fire as he began to suck her dry. There was a distant rumble, almost like laughter as the world around her began to drift away.

Eddie

The school had gone fucking nuts in the last three days. Eddie had seen Petal on that Tuesday morning, just a brief kiss after he'd driven them both from his trailer to school and she'd been off to class. He'd only caught one more glimpse of her before she'd fucking vanished off the face of the earth. She'd been cornered by three cheerleaders...Chrissy Cunningham included and then she'd run into the girls bathroom, he'd waited for Petal to come out for as long as he could before he got busted for not getting to class on time. He'd been given a detention slip and sent to class, not having seen her exit the bathroom. He didn't see her for the rest of the day. He didn't see her that evening when she'd usually be crawling into his window. He called Robin and Harrington on the off chance she'd decided to talk to them again. He'd even thought about calling the Carver's but knew if she was there it would only cause her trouble. So he stayed up all night, fiddling with his guitar, painting minis, even doing his fucking homework, to keep his mind off of his out of touch girlfriend. The next morning hadn't made it any better. He arrived at school exhausted only to be confronted in a back corner of the school by none other than Jason Carver.

"Where is she?" He grunts, shoving Eddie backward against a wall.

"Shouldn't you know? You live with her"

"Fucking freak, tell me where she is. Now."

Eddie runs a hand tiredly down his face "I don't fucking know Carver. I haven't seen her since yesterday." A passing teacher quickly broke the tension as she reminded them that the bell would be ringing soon as she passed them. Jason gave him one last dirty look before moving on, it was after lunch that things had started to intensify. A pair of police officers came into the school, their presence in the principals office, the counselors, and each of the classes that Petal had confirmed his suspicions. No one had seen her since Chrissy Cunningham and her little friends had talked to her. At first he was the prime suspect for the girl's disappearance but after a teacher had told the police about his detention slip and subsequent class that he'd attended they put him in the clear. It didn't make any sense to him. Had she run? There's no way anyone could have gotten her out of the school silently and completely unseen.

"She's probably just fucked off out of town." Dustin muttered bitterly at lunch the next day. There had still been no trace found of her in town and Eddie was growing increasingly more scared...not that he told that to the Hellfire club.

"Shut up Henderson. She wouldn't run off without at least telling me." He pushes his lunch away, he wasn't hungry. Something was off.

"She stopped talking to pretty much everyone Eddie! Obviously she didn't want any ties left here." He grouched, glaring down at his nasty school mac and cheese.

"And me? And Max? Are we just loose ends she didn't feel like tying up Henderson? She's been having a tough time dick." He shoots the younger boy a glare as he continues to scan the uneasy student body.

"Maybe she just needed to get away for a couple days then. Clear her head or something?" Jeff says quietly, not making eye contact with the DM. Had he thought she'd do that it would make sense...spring break was just a few days away when she'd vanished...maybe...

After School

Eddie was rushing to his van, wanting to get home and sit by the phone...hoping that she'd call. As he approached the car he saw Max leaning against the car door and looking at her feet. He'd taken to bringing her to and from school during the cold months, skating in the snow wasn't exactly practical but he hadn't expected her today. When he gets to the van she looks at him, eyes wide and hands fidgeting "Eddie?" She says very quietly

"What's up red?" He says, shoving his bag into the back of the van.

"I need to talk to you...it's about-" She stops abruptly and looks behind him like she'd seen a ghost. He turns and finds none other than Chrissy Cunningham standing behind him, in full cheerleader glam and looking nervous.

"Hi...can...can I buy-"

"I'm not selling today. Try me again after spring break Cunningham" He says coldly, turning back to the van

"But-"

"No buts. Try beer. Maybe your boyfriend can find another guy to score from. But not me. Not right now. I'm in no mood." He'd turned back to face the cheerleader with a stony face, not caring particularly if he'd hurt her feelings. She blinked rapidly before nodding, mumbling a muffled apology as she turned and walked away. He got ito the van with Max and she swallowed thickly. "So what is it red?"

"I...I've been hearing her..." She whispers so quietly that he wasn't sure he'd heard her.

"Hearing who?"

"Petal."

"She's been calling you? Did she say where she was-" Eddie began to ramble but she covered her face and shook her head hard.

"I've been hearing her...in my head. Like she's calling for me...but from inside. I've been seeing her with some...some clock hanging around in weird places...and no one is seeing it Eddie." She whispers "No one hears it...and it's so loud." She's now furiously wiping tears from her cheeks. "And it's Petal and she's calling me" She looks at Eddie with red eyes "I don't know what to do"

Eddie drums his fingers on the dashboard of the van, staring out of the front windshield unseeing "So...you're hearing and seeing things that aren't there...what kinds of things are you seeing?" He sighs looking down at the band of his watch on his left hand.

"I...I've been seeing a grandfather clock...like shoved into places where its not. Walls...trees...fucking cars...whatever I'm near I guess. And I see her...she's reaching out...like to grab my hand or something...and she's crying. She's...she's bleeding..." Her voice breaks again. "I'm going nuts."

"No. No you're not. Let's fucking go." Eddie sighs and starts the van "This is going to be a fucking weird ass day" He starts to drive

Dustin

He sat behind the counter of family video pouting, hellfire had been canceled for the night because of Petal going missing. Mike had gone to Lucas's game. Susie wasn't answering his calls. And no one would drop the Petal issue. "Why do we care? She stopped talking to us all like a month ago." He grumbles as Steve and Robin discussed it over his head.

Steve looked down at him sternly, reminding him heavily of his mother. "Doesn't mean we can't worry about her Dust. Look at El. She disappeared for a year. A year. And you forgave her literally instantly."

"Yeah but it's not like she was ignoring me...she didn't give me dirty looks..." He sniffed slightly. "I thought she was nice."

"Hey. She is nice...she's just having a rough go..." Robin looks out the front doors. "She...she kept asking about Billy...did you notice that?" She whispered to the both of them, as though she thought someone outside would hear.

Dustin looked up, his brows furrowed. "What kinds of questions?"

"How he died" Steve shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed. "She said someone was lying...pretty much saying it was Robin and I...not that we weren't..." He shrugged "We couldn't exactly tell her the truth.

"She asked me too...and Mike...and Lucas I think." He looks back down at his hands "Do you think?"

"Nah. It's...it's got to be a coincidence. The gate is closed" Steve says confidently, although both of them could see it was all bluster. The night dragged on, Dustin rifling through the films that Steve and Robin had only just sorted when they heard the sirens. Out the front doors of the store they saw two police cars racing past and off down the street. "What the fuck is that about?" Robin says quietly, looking toward the direction of the sirens.

Steve shrugged but looked more worried than before, no longer fussing over the tapes Dustin had messed with.

Saturday Morning

Dustin had spent the evening with Robin and Steve and crashed on the couch with them in Steve's living room. When he woke up the tv was on, the news blaring through the living room as he sat up blearily. Robin was sitting up with her knees against her chest, her arms wrapped around them as she gazed shocked at the tv.

Steve sat in an armchair, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands.

"Police are now on the lookout for Carver after finding the body in his house"

The blonde behind the news desk made a grave face "The sympathies of Hawkins news goes out to the family and friends of Chrissy Cunningham" Dustin looked to the two older teens, shocked "Cunningham's dead?!"

"Looks like it." Steve grunts, finally removing his hands from his face to look at Dustin. "Jason's missing too. Probably running. They're looking at him for Petal's disappearance too." Silence took over the room as Robin turned off the TV. She was visibly shaking now "Ok so...so we don't know it's all connected. We don't know. Maybe...maybe she did just run off. Jason didn't do anything to her right? No way, the fucker is way too godly to do that kind of thing right?" She's starting to ramble as she paces between the two males.

"The crusades..." Dustin mutters, trying not to think about Petal now.

"Not helping!" Steve grunts, Robin's biting her nails now. "Why would he kill Chrissy though?" She mutters "I mean she...she was really nice...for a cheerleader"

"Maybe she found out about him killing Petal?" Dustin was no longer looking at either of them. Instead beginning to mess with the Walkie he'd pulled from his bag. "If she did...he'd want to keep her quiet."

The mood in the room darkened further, almost making the morning light seem blinding in comparison. "What do we do?" Dustin asks

"We're not going to do anything! This is not a party issue-" Steve started

"Part of the party is dead...and if he did kill her, that makes it our problem." Dustin looks up, his eyes red. He'd been hurt when she stopped talking to him. Even worse when she gave him dirty looks like he'd done something wrong. He didn't know why...that made it all the worse. He sniffed harshly, still playing with the walkie idly. But to say he hadn't been worried would have been a lie.

"What do you suggest? Vigilante justice? This isn't a comic book"

"And all the other shit we've done is so normal? RUSSIANS Steve!"

"Maybe I don't want us getting mixed up in every crime committed in Hawkins!" He sighs and runs a hand over his stubbled face before turning back to the younger boy. "Are you going to drop it?"

"Nope."

"Going to do it anyway?"

"Yep."

He groaned again "FUCK. Fine. Always the god damned babysitter." He stands up and shuffles through the living room. "Let me shower before you go running off to find a murderer Henderson!"
