Not Mine.

After a less than restful night, Jane was in the bathroom waiting on a shower. She was lost in thought when Claudia and her crew sidled up beside her.

"Fresh meat, you give any thought to my offer?"

"What?"

Claudia pushed her into a shower stall and whispered, "I'mma have you one way or another, Fresh meat. Your choice; the easy, good feeling way...or the other." She leaned in and bit the right side of Jane's neck, drawing a yelp from the detective. Running her tongue over the mark, she whispered again, "Once I've claimed you, I'll mark the right side of your neck." She stood up straight and nodded at Jane. "You have a week."

Jane showered and rubbed her neck, deciding she would deal with Claudia later.

At breakfast, a mousy little brunette looked at her with concern.

"You need something?"

The mousy woman averted her eyes and managed to get out, "I see you've met Claudia."

Jane's hand immediately went to her neck. "Uh, yeah." Jane stopped talking while some mystery glob was put on her plate. "You...know her?"

Mousy, as Jane came to think of her, replied, "No. I'm not her type. She likes...you. Women like you."

"Me?"

Mousy nodded. "Pretty, but with a hint of masculine."

As they sat eating, Jane's eyes continually scanned the cafeteria.

"How do you know?" At Mousy's questioning look she clarified, "What she likes."

Mousy swallowed and nodded, "I work in laundry. You hear everything in laundry."

Jane swallowed and nodded. "Name's Karen."

Mousy smiled and held her hand out. "Penny."

Jane made a mental note to get Penny checked out and to get assigned to the laundry detail.

She had managed to steer clear of Claudia the rest of the day and made it to the telephone after dinner.

"Mo, it's Karen." The detective wanted to make sure Maura remembered to use their undercover names.

"Hey." the doctor was happy to hear from her best friend. "How's it going? Are you ok?"

"Doing great, Made a friend. Penny, works in laundry." Jane held the phone tighter and glanced around. Jane whispered, ""Maura, check out a Claudia Johnson."

"Another new friend?"

Seeing the topic of conversation coming her way, Jane hurriedly replied, "No. Gotta go."

"Jane...Jane!" Maura looked at the phone, hearing only a dial tone. She picked up the paper she had written the two names down on and went in search of Frankie.

They were all working late on another case and thought Maura had lab results for them.

"I heard from Jane. She gave me two names to check out."

Nina took the paper from her and Frankie was peppering her with questions about Jane. Maura told them what Jane had said and waited for Nina to report back.

Nina had photos of both women on the screen in BRIC.

"Penny Dean is doing 3-5 for forgery. Has eight months to go. Nothing in her history points to her being involved in trying to kill you, Maura.' Nina looked at Maura. "No incident reports or infractions. Model prisoner."

Maura sighed and everyone seemed relieved. Everyone but Nina.

"Guys, Claudia Johnson is another story. Not for trying to have you killed Maura, but for her infractions while incarcerate."

They all moved into the screen and read what was there. Maura finally read them out loud.

"Delusional disorder which ha lead to her engaging in intimate relations with fellow inmates. Often not believed to be consensual."

They all took a moment to let that sink in.

"We need to warn Jane." Maura was pacing back and forth.

"Jane can handle herself Maura." Even as he said it, he wasn't sure he could make himself believe it.

Frankie was shaking his head. "We gotta get a message to her."

"I'll do it."

They all looked at Maura.

"She's in this position because of me."

"Maura, whoever is trying to kill you is likely to see you and then both you and Jane will be in danger!"

Maura shook her head. "Then let's pull her out."

Frankie interjected, "Wait! Hold on. Let's think about this. We could put Maura in disguise, send her in and warn Janie."

"I'll do it! How soon can I go in?"

"Visitation isn't until Wednesday."

"Two days. Janie can handle that."

Three sets of eyes looked at him, wanting to believe what he had said.

Two days later

Maura had spent the last two days going over everything she could get her hands on pertaining to Claudia Johnson. She had worked up a profile and felt she was as prepared as possible to see Jane.

Jane was surprised when told she had a visitor, but figured it might be her mother. As the figure approached her, dressed in a crisp white t-shirt that was a little low cut, tight chino's and with light brown hair, she was confused until the woman got closer.

"Karen!"

"Mo...?"

"Give me a hug!"

As Jane stood to hug her, Maura leaned in and whispered, "Just go with it."

Jane nodded and took a seat. She listened for the next 30 minutes as Maura used coded words to update her. Jane had already gotten the 411 on Claudia from laundry room gossip. She didn't notice Maura had quit speaking until she felt her gaze on the fading bruise on her neck.

"Did she do that to you?"

Jane absently rubbed the right side of her neck. "I can handle it, Maura."

Maura nodded and started giving Jane updates about regular things.

When visitation was over, they stood and Maura leaned into Jane.

She whispered, "Do you trust me?"

Confused, Jane gave a slight nod.

Maura smiled and winked at her. As they hugged, Maura brought Jane's head down and gave her a deep kiss. As she went to pull away from Jane, she whispered, "By the way, we're married now."

"What?" Jane managed to squeak out.

Maura had already turned and was out the door before Jane could say anything else. Realizing her nipples had hardened, she crossed her arms as she waited to be processed back to her cell.

Maura spent the entire drive home shifting in her jeans, trying to make contact with her clit.

It was a long night for both women.
