Summary: Magnus and Cleo discuss Jonas and Nic's return from Kraeshia. This is the first of my Magneo fanfictions on . It may not be my best, but I am still learning. All characters belong to Morgan Rhodes and her Falling Kingdoms series. Enjoy! Rated T for readers 13+

Magnus walked along the cold, dark chamber hallway and stopped at a small oak door. Princess Cleiona's chambers. She had summoned him to her chambers, for what reason he did not know. He knocked at her door and heard Cleiona's familiar voice call out, "Come in!" He pulled the door open and closed it gently behind him. She was sitting at her vanity, running a brush through her whitish-blond hair. He watched her Cerulean eyes meet his own chocolate brown ones in the mirror. "Could you possibly have taken any longer to walk up here?" She asked sarcastically.

"Oh, I could have taken much longer, Princess." He said. She scoffed, and he leaned against the wall to her left, folding his arms over his chest. "Now what is it you have summoned me for, Princess?" He asked. She carefully placed the ornate brush on the dark Limerian vanity and turned to look at him. His heart skipped a beat. She was as beautiful as always, but every day felt as if he was seeing that beauty for the first time. "I have a matter to discuss with you, Magnus." He loved the way she said his name, her sweet voice licking every letter of his name. "And what matter was so urgent that it had to be discussed in here?" He asked, indicating the room around him.

Cleo's bed was in the center of the room, her closet on the right wall. He felt slightly uncomfortable being in her bedchambers alone with her. But he really didn't mind fulfilling the dreams he had with her in these very beds... irrelevant. She rolled her eyes and said, "It's about Jonas and Nic." "Oh, of course it would be about the love of your life and your servant." He said, rolling his own eyes. Furry burned in her eyes, so hot it burned right through his very core. She got up from her chair to stand in front of him. "I told you, there is nothing between Jonas and I. We are simply just friends. Why can't you understand that? " She gritted out behind clenched teeth. Goddess was she frightening.

"As for Nic, he is not my servant. In fact, he is the only family I have left, and the only person I trust! " Her voice was rising now, her chest heaving in anger. He starred at her as he picked up a curl of her long, white-blond hair, twirling it around his finger. It was so soft, and the smell was so intoxicating, like an exotic flower. "I thought I told you to wear your hair up" he said nonchalantly. She pulled away from him, her hair falling from his fingers as she sat down at her vanity. "When will they be back?" She asked, glaring at him in the mirror. "Next week," he replied. "Very well. What do you plan to do with them when they arrive?" She asked, pulling her hair to her right shoulder and picking up an extraordinarily blue necklace. She placed it around her neck, fumbling with the clasp at the back. She let out a frustrated huff. "Do you need help, Princess?" He asked, walking over to her. She continued to glare at him in the mirror. He reached out his hand and she placed the necklace in it, her fingertips brushing lightly against his palm. A warm feeling in his chest corresponded to the warmth she had left in his hand. "To answer your question, Princess," he pulled the necklace over her head, "I have no plans for them when they return." He said, doing the clasp at the back of her neck.

Cautiously, he brought his mouth up to her ear and whispered, "What do you plan to do when they return?" He felt her shudder under his breath. He chuckled. "Ban them from going any where under your command." She turned to him, smirking. That broke him, he was still intoxicated by her smell, her heat, her voice. He kissed her hard and deep. He felt her grab his shirt, pulling him deeper into their kiss. He picked her up from the chair and carried her to her bed. He broke from her lips to look at her. "And what about you, Princess? Will you ban yourself from going anywhere under my command?" he rumbled.
