I created 2 shields, one in front of me and one behind me, thus covering the corridors of anything that wanted to kill us. When I looked to the front, I could see the soldier who saw me and ran away; he was bringing 4 soldiers with rocket launchers.

"SHOOT THEM," said the soldier after taking cover. The four soldiers aimed at me, not knowing the capabilities of my shields. I created 20 shields that covered the corridor.

I saw how they shot, and at that moment, after their rockets hit the shield and being exploding, I created magic blades to kill them.

Killing them instantly, I checked the state of my shields, 5 out of 20 had fallen, a relief for my heart, but at the same time, it showed something I didn't like. I was not invincible.

"Let's go!" shouted the officer and I followed behind him, covering any opening from which they could attack us.

When we passed through the area where they never let me go, I saw how the door was destroyed and behind it some bunkers covered with corpses, I also saw about 10 soldiers who had started shooting, I created a wheel of swords and spun it like a spinning top, slaughtering those poor bastards who decided it would be a good idea to attack me.

The officer looked at me and then approached me, "Do you feel tired?" I shook my head, I felt pretty good, despite how much I had used magic.

"I'm not going to take any risks, Erika, you're a good girl, here's another chocolate bar, eat it."

Without thinking twice, I grabbed it and started to eat it, for some reason the chocolate made me want to eat it without thinking.

"Hold the walls," he said as he grabbed me princess-style and ran to the communications center. I had been running around this facility for 3 years, I didn't need to concentrate on knowing what gaps to fill so no one could attack us.

When we arrived he came in, I saw 10 SS soldiers barricaded in, they saluted my father as my father entered.

"What's going on outside," said my father as the radio operator came out of the radio.

"Himmler's coup d'etat has begun but Hans Speidel has dispersed our forces, all branches of the SS are compromised, sir."

Father banged the table loudly and started to shout, he regained his composure shortly after and approached me.

"Erika, I need you to help me again, you don't mind, do you? You're a good girl" without waiting for my answer he turned to the operator.

"Use the radio and tell all the survivors to gather in the warehouse, we'll get supplies and run."

The radio operator ran and started transmitting the message while the SS guards were checking ammunition, however father approached one and asked him for something, he took it out of his backpack and gave it to him, and with an affirmation, he turned to come with me.

"Okay, Erika, you're doing a good job, keep it up, Ok?"

I gave this time yes a confirmation and he opened the door, at that instant I raised the barriers again and the soldiers came out to both sides of the corridor immediately prepared for combat.

We started to run towards the warehouse, from time to time we heard sporadic gunshots. I couldn't help but notice the number of corpses in the corridors, both of those who were attacking the SS soldiers and us.

We entered the storage area and saw a few dead bodies, which had become the norm.

5 soldiers went to cover the entrance while 5 others went to the storage boxes, where there were about 20 APCs along with hundreds of boxes.

"Take out all the necessary supplies, those of you who are covering do the same, Erika takes care of covering all the entrances, only allow people with SS badges to enter, the rest kill them."

I followed his orders and thought about the situation, why had everything gone downhill? Why were there clashes between the SS and the Nazis? What had father asked the soldier? Without thinking too much I went on doing my job, in the end, work protects you, if I do my job I will be rewarded, in some way or another.

"EVERYONE TO THE APCS" A man roared.

It was an hour before father decided it was time to leave, in total we had collected approximately 100 soldiers. Give or take a dozen, I don't know why for some reason I was starting to get really tired, perhaps it was from using my powers? I never used them that much.

Running to get on the APC, I felt my body disconnect and fell directly on the ground. A soldier beside me quickly grabbed me and ran to the same APC I was going to.

I felt nothing and wanted to sleep, however the moment I was put into the APC I saw how quickly I was changed of hands. Father sat me on his lap, looked me in the eyes, took out a torch, and forced me to keep my eye open.

"Shit, she's overdosed. She won't be able to use her powers in case of danger," Father took something out from where he kept what the soldier gave him and put it in the pocket of my gown, "Listen to me, that chocolate, keep it as if it was your life, only eat it if you are in great danger, ok?"

I wanted to answer but felt the last of my strength leave me and I fell asleep as I sank into the grips of Morpheus.

The last thing I saw was that we were all inside an APC and the first thing I saw when I woke up was that I was being guarded by non-SS soldiers. Looking around, I quickly saw what reminded me of an aging Rommel with a gun pointed at their father, who was under arrest and kneeling.

Looking around, I quickly saw at least 100 soldiers and a few armored vehicles.

I quickly touched my pocket to see if my chocolate bar was still there and found it.

I decided to stealthily grab and eat the chocolate, but I remembered his warning before I could.

So as you all can probably already tell, it's pretty easy to figure out which choice has won when reading the first paragraph of a new chapter. That does help since the official tally is never actually posted. Still, usually, the choices and feedback received have it all go in one direction. The most contentious one so far was who do we do a brief interlude with in chapter 15, which was decided by two votes.
