Just a short drabble about Fountree "camping" because I miss them

Rountree pulled off the highway and smiled. He looked over at his sleepy girlfriend.

"I know this really beautiful spot, is it okay if I take you?" he asked. Fatima smiled and nodded.

"I trust you, of course," she said softly. They drove for a bit, until the radio was mostly static. Fatima smiled and sat up straight. Rountree pulled onto a small dirt road and turned the radio down, then turned the headlights on brighter. "Where we going?" Fatima asked softly.

"I'll show you. You'll love it, I promise. Are you uncomfortable?" he asked.

"No. Just curious," she replied. She yawned and rubbed her eyes a little. The truck pulled to a stop and began backing up. Once he parked, he gently patted her knee, silently telling her that they had arrived. She got out and looked around.

"What do you think?" Rountree asked, hurriedly digging through his bag.

"It's so pretty here. And quiet," she said softly.

"I know. It's completely safe, I promise. It's a camping area, it's just not very popular. Hey, come over here," he said softly. Fatima walked over and smiled.

"What's up?" she asked. Rountree made eye contact as he got down on one knee. She gasped and giggled a little.

"Fatima Namazi, ever since I met you I've loved you with everything I have, and I think I'm ready for us to take the next step. I guess what I'm asking is, will you marry me?" he asked shyly. Fatima grinned and nodded excitedly.

"Yes, of course," she said shyly. Devin grinned.

"I love you so much," he whispered.

"I love you too," she said quietly.

"Come here, baby," he murmured. He took her hand in his and slid the ring onto her finger.

"It's so beautiful," she whispered.

"You're so beautiful," he replied. "Let's curl up and go to sleep, okay?" he murmured. She nodded and opened the back of the truck, then climbed in. Rountree climbed in after her and opened the storage box, then pulled out a couple pillows and blankets. They set it up together, then Rountree laid down and pulled her against him. She kissed him softly and smiled. "I'm so happy you said yes," he whispered. Fatima grinned.

"I'm really happy you asked," she whispered. They kissed again, and this time Fatima took it further. She climbed on top of him and cupped his face. Devin let his hands cup her face, and eventually trail down her body to hold her waist. "That's as far as we're going tonight, Tree, okay?" she asked softly.

"Of course. Come here," he murmured. They fell asleep holding each other close and sharing soft kisses. Fatima knew from the moment he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled the blanket over her hip that she never wanted to go to sleep without him.
