"Ready to go school-shopping." Gamora heard Rocket ask Casey, after they'd gotten ready noticing her nodding shyly bothering them at her reaction seeing Branchie on Casey's furry shoulder leaving the house getting a taxi to get to the mall.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie said softly to the female-cub.
"You're lucky Branchie, you don't have to go to school." Casey softly told her.
After they reached the mall, Rocket was paying the taxi-driver then joining Branchie, Casey and Gamora as they were entering the mall, going ijto stores buying Casey new clothes and school tools alomg with an new backpack noticing their female-cub was quiet seeing Branchie squeezing her paw gently in reassurance but after getting home and putting the school-stuff away, Casey was doing art at her desk in her room while watching Turning Red, her new favourite Pixar movie thinking Mei was a furry she-hulk plus teaching Branchie the 4-Town songs including her favourite, Nobody Like U making Rocket relieved, entering Casey's room checking on her, seeing Branchie put a tiny finger to her mouth meaning to be quiet because her girl was in the zone and feeling better after shopping had made her anxious.
"Why're you so anxious about starting fourth-grade." he asked Casey a while later casually.
"Because my powers might spurt out and other kids might be treat me weird because unlike you, I know I'm a raccoon and not a Terran, it's in my heroije-name." she answered honestly making him sigh, knowing last year she'd accidentally wrecked her classroom because of a meltdown which somebody in her class had triggered however he was helping her with her incredible powers like power-practice in school, deciding she might need extra power-practice tutoring to help her just in case hearing Emily and Shocket home from day-camp knowing her dad would be delighted to hear what epic chaos Shocket had unleashed today, letting her dad be.
"We're not done yet, but we'll talk later, alright." he said leaving her room.
"Okay I guess, I'll be right here, you know." she mumbled softly.
However her spirits lifted seeing Peach and Raya her two best raccoon-friends there saying to join them at the pool changing into swim-gear putting floaties on Branchie because the female sapling was still learning to swim with Casey and Rocket's help but she and Branchie had been making their own fun this summer as they couldn't go to camp but Gamora had inspired them, to make their own fun this Summer, so had been doing things like art, skateboarding, hanging out with Crystal, Kaley, Peach and Raya like right now, heading to the pool that was on the campus-grounds telling Emily where she and Branchie were goijg, in case their parents asked.
"Let's play chicken, you know." Peach said to Casey and Raya in the pool which was refreshing on a hot summer day plus Branchie was floating relieving Casey guessing chicken was okay, as long as they were careful meaning herself as she didn't want to hurt her friends using her super-strength but laughing a lot making Rocket happy, after Emily had told him where Casey had went leaving her be.
However Gamora had gotten a message from her Ranger and Riley, Rocket's brother and sister who were coming to visit makijg her curious about this but Rocket was wonderijg, why they were coming here but would welcome them all the same telling her that Casey wasin the pool with Peach and Raya which madeher relieved, as Emily and Shocket were doing their own things, so happy Casey was having fun with her friends knowing the new school-year was starting in a few days.
"Sweet, uncle Ranger and Aunt Riley's coming to stay." Shocket said excitedly while getting a snack making Rocket sigh.
"It's good to see you back out here, Raccoon Girl Princess Frost and I were worried about you." Crystal said.
"Thanks Chryalis, I was just exhausted, but my aunt Riley along with my uncle, Ranger are coming to visit." Casey said.
She, Crystal and Kaley who were Chryalis, Princess Frost and Raccoon Girl who were their own super-team called the Super-Quirks who patrolled the city kicking bad guy tail but returned to their homes by sunrise and trying to get into the Avengers Internship Program and right now, they were having vegan donuts, from the store that Gwen had told Casey about so were chatting surprised that Crystal was excited about the new school-year alomg with Kaley, making them get it as Casey was more confident as Raccoon Girl to when she was just being herself, guessing Rocket knew how she was feelijg learning emotional liabitlys.
"How does he feel about Ranger and Riley showing up." Crystal asked her.
"I guess he's okay with it, he's Gamora's squishmallow hehehe." Casey told her giggling, making her friends grin as it was cute so noticed the sun rising having to get home, before their families woke up and worried about them fist-bumping and would Whatsapp each other later making Casey grin returning to her house flying in through her bedroom-window trying not to wake Branchie changing into pyjamas yawning, getting ijto her bed falling asleep, just as her alarm on her phone went off making Branchie turn it off, guessing Casey had been doing Raccoon Girl stuff again.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." she whispered to Casey kissing her furry head, knowing she'd be grumpy if she woke her up right now going to Gamora and Rocket's room getting on their bed making Rocket grin because it reminded him of Groot at this age guessing Casey was back and just scampered into bed, knowing Gamora didn't know about Casey being Raccoon Girl compared to him, and Shocket letting her be.
"It's okay Branchie we'll use breakfast to get her out of bed." he told her.
"Yep, plus starting school in a few days would help with it." Gamora replied.
Rocket sighed as he was more worried about Ranger and Riley coming, making Gamora understand, squeezing his paw gently as she knew he was anxious about them, despite them being family, which Rocket guessed was true lying back down beside her with Branchie inbetween them which Gamora found sweet, because it was early-morning and would be up in a bit guessing Shocket was the same.
A bit later, Emily and Shocket were awake as it was day-camp but guessed Casey was still deep asleep which made Emily wonder what her sister was up to, that made her exhausted making Shocket roll her eyes because she besides their dad who knew Casey was Raccoon Girl wondering if he would tell her, as Gamora wondered why Casey was alsays tired during the day sighing plus Gamora knew that her cubs had receding eyesight just like their pops which she hadn't told them knowing her soulmate word glasses because of it, knowing they had to go to the eye-doctor soon.
