Chapter 1: The Wish is Made
After a fierce battle with Captain Ginyu, Son Goku is left badly injured, unable to move he's aided by Vegeta who takes him into one of Frieza's ships and places him in a healing tank filled with special liquids that will slowly heal him, his strength will be needed against Frieza, he has to be at his best.
The Prince gives Krillin and Gohan Saiyan armor to wear, Krillin proceeds to go fetch Dende so he can make the wish to the Namekian Dragon.
The Exhausted Prince decides to take a Short nap and entrusts Gohan with watching the Dragon Balls.
Meanwhile, Nail who's serving as a punching bag to distract Frieza reveals to him how their fight was nothing but a diversion and that by now the earthlings had already made their wish, this was a foolish mistake on his part, and an enraged Frieza races towards the earthlings leaving Nail to his fate.
But after Krillin returns with Dende they decide it's best to make the wish without Vegeta, after all, he's evil and whatever he'll wish for won't be good, Sensing Frieza fast approaching they Summon the Namekian Dragon Porunga.
Dende attempts to wish Piccolo, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and Tien back to life, but Porunga informs them that only one person can be brought back to life at a time, this creates a dilemma, Gohan and Krillin think about alternatives to wish everyone back at once.
Piccolo through King Kai's telepathy, tells Gohan to wish him back first, he reasons that if he's wished back to life, Kami will be alive as well and by extension that will bring back the Earth's dragon balls, they'd be able to resurrect their friends with a Single wish, then he tells them to use the Second wish and transport him over to Namek so he can fight Frieza and avenge his slain brothers.
Acknowledging Piccolo's Brilliant idea and excited to fight side by side with him again.
They wish Piccolo back to life making his halo disappear, this makes Kami appear back on earth alive, the Earth's Dragon Balls revert from stone to their Orange Color and sparkle under the Sun.
Something happened that would change everything.
The Prince had Woken up much earlier, he can sense Frieza approaching, and Kakarot isn't awake, he walks outside and sees the sky now dark.
"hm I must have overslept, it's nighttime already," he widens his eyes, "Namek has 3 Suns, night time is impossible unless..."
The Prince looks skywards.
"Those filthy Earthlings!!! I'll kill them!!!". The enraged Prince yelled and powered up to his maximum and blasted off towards their location.
Krillin senses Vegeta approaching and tells them to hurry.
Gohan tells Dende to wish Piccolo to Namek, but before Dende could say the words Vegeta arrived at their location.
"You traitors!! I spoiled you with new suits, took you in and I let you live. all of that and this is how you repay me!? I'll send you all to hell!!" The Prince said raising his hand and creating a blast.
"Wait Vegeta... there's still two wishes left, you wanted a wish right? We'll take two and give you one" Gohan said afraid for his life.
"Make the wish now!! I can sense Frieza coming, when he arrives we're all Dead!!" The Prince checked to see if Frieza is there yet.
"No I won't, you're just like Frieza, you killed my Brother's, I won't do it," A scared Dende said.
"Idiot!!" The Prince exclaimed and grabbed Dende by the neck.
"Listen you fool, I am the only one who can face Frieza, making me immortal is the only way we can survive, if you don't we're all Dead and it'll all be for nothing," he said desperately hoping that'd be enough to convince this stupid child, he'd break his neck if he didn't need him right now.
"No!!" Dende said and closed his eyes.
"Dende just do it! I guess trusting Vegeta is better than dying right? we have no choice, let's just do it, I don't want to die a virgin do it Dende!!" Krillin said.
"Just do it Dende, Vegeta is our only Chance right now"
Hearing Gohan's voice Dende nodded in agreement.
Vegeta throws the Namekian boy to the ground.
"Quick!! make the wish, make me immortal."
A trembling Dende gets up And says the words in the Namekian language
"Abracadabra Grant Vegeta immortality"
The Dragon Porunga growled and his eyes glowed.
"Your wish has been Granted"
Vegeta began to laugh hysterically looking at his hands.
"Hahahahahaha yes!! A new Vegeta is born!! Eternal life is mine!! Whatever it takes, one battle or a thousand! Eventually I'll wear Frieza down! Hahahaha Frieza will fall before me!".
"Quick Dende make the Third wish, Wish Piccolo to be transported to Namek" Gohan quickly told the Young Namekian.
Before the Dende could make the third wish, Porunga growls loudly and disintegrates, the Namekian Dragon Balls turning to Stone.
Dende begins to cry and informs them that all hope is lost, The Grand Elder Guru has died and thus the Dragon Balls are gone forever.
Vegeta, however, doesn't care, he's now immortal, that's all that matters, now he just needs to Confirm.
Krillin and Dende do their best to Comfort Dende when suddenly they all Sense massive energy behind them.
It's Frieza, He had arrived, slowly they all turned and saw the Scary Emperor looking down at them with hatred in his eyes.
They begin to tremble and shake in fear, Vegeta who in a different case would have been the first to sense Frieza's presence and Begin to tremble, simply smirks and Stares at the Emperor.
"Frieza," a scared Krillin managed to utter.
Frieza looks at them one by one unaware that Vegeta had his wish granted already, he smiles and calmly says.
"I hope you're satisfied, truly you've successfully dashed my hopes against the craggy shores of your ignorance," he looks around looking for any Member of the Ginyu force. "ah! and what has become of the Ginyu force I wonder, did you really do away with them all? sadly boys am afraid this won't do, indulge me you've said your goodbyes yes?"
Krillin, Dende, and Gohan keep trembling in fear, and Vegeta maintains his cocky grin.
The Emperor levitates from the rock he's standing on and touches the ground.
"to see the dragon balls turn to stone before you even have the chance to make your wish, quite a pill to swallow eh Vegeta?"
The prince simply chuckles, if only Frieza knew.
"Of course even more so for myself. As a matter of fact, in all my years I've never been Angry as I am now," The Frost Demon calmly said and takes a step forward causing Krillin to step back.
His eye twitches and he frowns.
"how irritating not to have seen the writing on the wall," he said his tone getting enraged.
"Now you'll pay!! grrrraaahh!! YOU VILE FILTH SUCKING MAGGOTS!!! you will rue the day you crossed my path, prepare yourself to embrace OBLIVION!!"
Seeing the Emperor lose his cool sent chills down everyone's spine in an instant they all jump to the side leaving Vegeta alone in Infront of the enraged Emperor.
Vegeta smirked now confident in his ability to take down Frieza.
"finally letting your true colors show, go on then do your worst, it won't make a difference, in the end, you'll be dead and I'll be laughing,"
The Emperor chuckled at this statement.
"Of all the things you might have said I daresay you might have forgotten how vastly terrifying I can be, hehe let's refresh your memory."
The Tyrant gave out a yell and began to charge up his energy, the entire landscape shakes from the pressure of his power, he fires a finger blast at Gohan, Vegeta was quick enough to blitz in the way and deflect the blast with a slap.
"forget those weaklings and face me Frieza, I am the one you should be worried about," the Prince informed the Emperor and smirked.
"Ow? and why is that?"
"Because Frieza, I've finally become something you fear the most!!, The legendary Super Saiyan!"
"Always one for jokes aren't you Vegeta, I don't blame you though, monkeys are like that before Death, trust me I know."
"There's more, but I'll let you find out for yourself"
The prince points at Gohan and Krillin.
"you, take Kakarot find a ship and leave this Planet, it's about to serve as an arena for me to Pound Frieza around, you'll only get in my way, leave now or I else won't be responsible if one of you ends up dead."
"well that's our cue, let's leave Gohan," Krillin said and carried Dende and flew away.
Frieza points his finger at them and fires a death beam, Vegeta appears Infront of the beam and tries to block it but Beam was too intense, it Pierces clean through Vegeta's arms and into his chest, The Prince spews up blood and drops to the ground motionless.
"Oh no Vegeta!! I don't think the wish worked Dende! we're doomed!" a terrified Krillin blurted out.
"Poor Vegeta they talk loud and fall hard, like Father like Son," Frieza said with a tone of mockery.
Vegeta laughed from where he was and stood up, the hole in his chest now healed, he received a little Zenkai from the recovery.
"I guess it worked after all, hahahaha I already feel stronger,"
"how's that possible?" Frieza was flabbergasted.
"I told you didn't I?... I am an invincible Super Saiyan." The Prince replied with a crazed smile.
This makes Frieza widen his eyes fearing that the worst has happened.
