Mrs Lovett walked into Sweeneys bedroom with a smile. "Well, that was a rather eventful day." She said and sat on the bedside. "Yes, indeed." Sweeney said. He had expected Mrs Lovett to go under the covers, tired from the long day, but instead she just sat there with a cheeky smile.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked her. "Well, both Toby and Johanna are asleep, so I thought it was the perfect time for a bit of amusement…" She said and leaned over towards him. "I´m to tired. Tomorrow." He said and kissed her forehead. "Well, who said you would do any of the work?" She asked him and climbed onto the bed.
She sat herself on top of him in her night gown, leaned forward and started kissing him. It soon became apparent to him that she wasn´t wearing any knickers, he could feel her warmth on his member through his underpants, and the juices that started flowing from it as her kisses became heavier and more desperate.
He reached under her and pulled down his underpants, just enough to free his length. It was standing proud, pointing directly into her stomach under her dress. "Well, I thought you were tired Mr T." She grinned and lifted her nightgown over her head, revealing her nude body.
She lined him up with her treasure and slowly lowered herself, moaning as she was filled up. She placed her hands on Sweeney´s chest for support, and started moving up and down, slowly, but rhythmical. Sweeney closed his eyes, enjoying the sensation, and grabbed her arms to give her the needed support.
Their moans intertwined, quietly, not to wake the children below, as Mrs Lovett picked up the pace, rolling her hips, letting him hit spots inside her she didn´t know she had. Her legs started to shake from pleasure and exhaust, and Sweeney quickly noticed.
He sat up, pushed her gently backwards, and then leaned over her. Her legs clasped around him, giving him space to enter her fully. He leaned over and licked her neck, as he started to pick up the pace. And then it happened. She could feel his precious liquid spilling inside of her. What a marvellous feeling.
He pulled his limp member out of her and laid beside her. They looked at each other, not speaking but understanding each other. Their connection was deep and respectful, something Sweeney had longed for in a long time, and something Mrs Lovett had never had.
They fell asleep in each others arms.
The next morning Mrs Lovett slipped carefully out of bed. There would be no reason to wake Sweeney this early, but her pies needed to get in the oven for the early costumers. When she came downstairs she was surprised to see Toby sitting on the kitchen table.
"Good morning Toby, nice to see you here." She said and shook his hair between her fingers, before turning around and reaching for her knife. "Mum?" He said with a peculiar voice. "Yes?" She answered. "Nothing is going to harm you, not while I´m around" He said and took her hand.
"What do you mean?" She asked, frightened if Toby had heard her and Sweeney in the bed, and thought it had been something violent. "He is a demon mum." He continued and looked down at his small hand in hers. "Who is?" She asked confused.
"Sweeney. I saw it mum. I saw him killing Beadle." He said and looked at her with tears in his eyes. Mrs Lovett started to tear up as well. "Well my boy, the Beadle was going to harm us. Mr T protected us…" She said. "It is wrong. Its wrong to hurt people, to kill them." Toby said.
Mrs Lovett held back her tears. She had to choose between her sweet little Toby, or a life by the sea with Sweeney. There was no convincing this small boy that all Sweeney did was for their own god. That is was somehow an act of kindness. "Now, now, stop all this foolish chatter, and just sit here nice and quiet."
She turned away, letting the tears run free, her hands shaking. "But mum, I saw it! He is not who you think he is." Mrs Lovett quickly dried her tears and turned around. "All right Toby, go hide in your room, I will prepare for us to run away." She said and lifted him down from the table. He quickly ran to his room, leaving Mrs Lovett alone.
She sobbed as she walked up to Sweeneys room. He was awake, and was shocked to see Mrs Lovett in such state. "What happened?" He asked and took her into his arms. "Its… Toby knows." She said as she got weak in his arms. "He wouldn´t listen. He want me to run away with him."
Sweeney nodded. "And we can´t let him go, he knows to much." She cried out in his chest: "You have to do it. I can´t do it." Sweeney hadn´t been to fond of Toby, but he was a good boy. And he was just a child. This would be hard for him too, but Sweeney hadn´t been so close to the boy as Mrs Lovett.
She had clearly always wanted a child of her own, but not been able to make that happen. Even when Toby was working for Pirelli, she treated him well, and cared for him. And him calling her mum had made her smile each time. This would be a tragic loss, but unavoidable.
If Toby was kicked out or ran out alone, he would tell the whole town. They would be caught, taken away from each other. All the dreams would disappear. "Take Johanna to retrieve some of her clothes from her house. I´ll take care of it." He said with a fragile voice.
And so she did. He walked down stairs with the blade in his hand, shaking. It felt like a cold substance started to spread in his body. Like it was harder to move and think clearly. He opened the door to Toby´s room, stepped in and closed it behind him, before Toby could run out.
Toby glanced at the knife in Sweeneys hand. "Don´t do this. Mrs Lovett already knows you secret." He said, trying to sound brave. Sweeney slowly stepped closer, the knife feeling heavier and heavier in his hand. "I though you where a good one. A good person. But you are a demon!" Toby yelled.
Sweeney became stiff, and looked down into the floor. "I am a good man." The words echoed in his own head. What would Lucy think? Was he as terrible of a creature as the Judge? How could he harm such a small innocent child.
Sweeney stepped a little back and opened the door. "Never speak of anything you saw here again. Run of with you." He said and let the child run. It was a chance he had to take. He had to save the small part left of his soul, that hadn´t been darkened yet with all his sins.
Johanna and Mrs Lovett returned and when Johanna had returned to her room, Mrs Lovett´s smile faded as she became pale. "I couldn´t do it." Sweeney admitted and looked down. "What?" Mrs Lovett said. "I couldn´t do it. He is just a boy. I made him promise not to tell anyone."
Mrs Lovett smiled, but then she thought it through. "There is a good chance he will tell someone." She said, frightened of what was going to happen, yet pleased that the boy was alive. "I know. But I´ve counted the money. We are ready to leave, and if we leave tomorrow they can´t do anything about it."
Mrs Lovett nodded. "You should speak to Johanna about leaving." she said and walked away. He walked to Johanna's room and lightly knocked. "Come in" her light voice said. He cracked the door open and slipped inside.
"Me and Eleanor have talked about a fresh start. We have money saved up and want to leave tomorrow. Would you like to come with us?" He said and gulped. "Of course. This town has to many appalling memories." She said and smiled. Sweeney returned the smile, relieved that she was coming with them.
Now everything had fallen into place. Well almost. Sweeney had a plan if Toby should talk to much in street, so that night he shaved his last three customers and hid there bodies in the trunk in his shop. He would need them if everything should go wrong.
